So far, can’t be more pleased
After looking at flights on kayak.com, I clicked through to Fareboom on a whim since they had a cheaper flights advertised. I was pleased to find that we could select our seats in advance, and that 1 checked bag was included in the lower price. Before we booked, we researched the credibility of fareboom and their insurance partner and felt that everything passed our sniff test.
I hope our trip goes as smoothly as this app site worked.
Customer Service
Very terrible. I won’t be purchasing tickets from Fareboom ever again. You can’t reach them on the phone except you’re traveling in 24hrs. That is unacceptable. If I’m having issues with my booking which involves a lot of money, I believe I should be able to reach someone to talk to and allay my fears. Not wait 24hrs to my departure for it. They changed my flight itinerary and I still had to pay for the change. They did not send me a flight confirmation until I asked for it. Overall, I had a bad experience with Fareboom.
P.S- There’s nothing “boom” about their fares.
Much cheaper airline tickets
Eva airways& Alaska Airlines are both nice,clean and more techy than other aircrafts.Im impressed.Eva airways has very good customer service!Both flight crew & ground crew..Its Pilots’ flight skill & friendly manner is also impressive.Alaska airline BNA to San Francisco gave us an upgrade to premium economy seat #s 8...awesome!Thank you young ground male crew.I am still giving a 5 star despite a negative attitude from a senior female flight crew of Alaska Airline from San Francisco-BNA. She ignored several times my husband’s call for attention.She might be racist since we are Asians. We are going to raise this concern to AA management.Overall the experience is splendid!
Flight
We only took one flight and it was the flight from CLT to Huntsville.When we got to Roanoke Virginia one of the people that work for American Airlines told us that our flight was delayed. We never got any warning of this on the way driving up to Roanoke. We ended up driving to Charlotte North Carolina to take the flight to Huntsville Alabama. We tried contacting you guys numerous times to see if we can change our flight that was leaving out of Huntsville Alabama yesterday no one was able to speak with us. We were not happy with the service. I even sent you guys an email titled it as urgent for you guys to call us and no one ever did. We spent over $600 on the flights and we’ve only taken one of the flights and we had to rent a car to drive back all the way to Lynchburg Virginia from Charlotte North Carolina last night so we’re not really happy. Your feedback is welcome
Incredible Site! A great spot to plan your next vacation
I went on an app that compares airline fares and was referred from there to Fareboom as having the best price. We flew round trip from SFO/Zurich/Florence, business class on Swiss Air. I was a bit reluctant as I had not heard of Fareboom prior to this. Making the reservation was seamless and I was even able to choose our seats (in many cases there is an additional charge for seat selection). We were allowed 2 suitcases each checked, up to 70 lbs weight and 2 carryon items each. The fare was amazing! Let me tell you, business class, if you can swing it, is the way to go on such a long flight - well worth the additional fare I was issued an e-ticket. I waited a few days and checked with Swiss Air to make sure they had our reservation and all was good. All of our flights were on time with the connection time in Zurich being comfortable (1 1/2 hours), without being too long. Fareboom and Swiss Air both checked with me regularly along the way, by text, with reminders, updates and inquiring if everything was going well. In business class, you have tons of room, the seats lay completely flat for sleeping, there is a great entertainment system to help pass the time, and even a massage in your seat. I didn’t find it on the way over but it is in a compartment, next to your tray table that pops out and folds down. It is where you would rest your arm on the side next to the trays. It opens, though it is not obvious. You can set it to “massage” or change the firmness of your seat. We had two full meals, many drink services plus numerous snacks. The food is actually excellent and the flight attendants are super attentive and friendly. We were on a Boeing 777-300. I will only use Fareboom from now on and highly recommend both Fareboom and Swiss Air. If you have questions or concerns, you can actually reach a person by phone at Fareboom, too. That was important to me. Thank you Fareboom. Our vacation was amazing!

Pointless App, Great Website
There's no sense in getting this app because when you click "book flights" all it does is redirect you to their website. I like their website because it's really great for comparing flight prices. But this app doesn't do anything but act as a link to their website. But 5 stars to their website because their flexible search for flights is he best around.

Flight was mediocre!
I expected a better service and food was horrible. The 75 dollar fee for luggage was not expected. I definitely will not take this airline again.
