Terrible Customer Service: My Nightmare Experience with CheapOair
So, I don't know about you guys, but my experience with CheapOair was a total bummer. I had to cancel my flight to my granddaughter's wedding, which got postponed because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. After that, I figured I'd cancel travel insurance they had offered, because I ain't no dummy, and boy, was I right. I tried calling, chatting, and calling again but couldn't get any help. They put me on hold for almost an hour, and then a call got dropped or busy signal. I was about to lose my mind, when I set up a call back for 10 am the following day. But guess what? No call. And no call for the other times I set up as well.
I was ready to give up, but then I thought, why not try contacting the CEO? And you know what? That worked. I finally got a call from a customer service rep, but the issues didn't stop there. Of course, CheapOair sells tickets to Vivaerobus, a Mexican airline, and that added another roadblock. I begged CheapOair to contact the airline to get vouchers for those who bought tickets, but no response so far.
All I can say is, I don't recommend CheapOair to anyone. Their service is lousy and the customer support is nonexistent. It's been a nightmare to deal with them, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this mess.
