My complaint to you is in regards to the customer service that I received from the cashier and his coworker who was working along side of him at Customer Serivice.

The Cashier who was of East Indian decent rang my purchase through without any eye contact, a welcome, or a thank you after purchase was complete.
He instead was joking around with his fellow stafff employee working next to him on Customer Service who was also of East Indian decent.
I addressed the situation but was only laughed at and receivied some wise cracks of that they do their job well.
I have nothing against their race, color or place of birth. I have lived abroad for many years and am very welcoming to all immigrants.
As a customer I feel that good customer service is so very important and should be part of any good training.
I normally shop at Zehrs and No Frills. Never have I experienced this before. As a matter of fact I have never experience this in all my days of shopping and this is the first time I have ever made a complaint.
I sure hope that you will adress this situation. I don't want anyone to lose their job over this but it needs to be addressed. Being kind and curteous to your customers is what makes for having a good day and the success of any business.
Desired outcome: That the above employees involved will be spoken to and made aware to treat customers with respect.
