I attempted to return 2 bottles of Acronym wine to the Food 4 Less at 11507 Western Ave. (Los Angeles).
The cashier (Sharron at Reg# 4) told me she doesn't take returns and to take it to Reg#8 (Tracy's check-out). Tracy advised me that I can take it to any register. I chose to return to reg# 4 and advised Sharron that I had to do more shopping and would return for the credit.
Upon my return the wine was gone, and she said "you shouldn't have left it here, I told you I don't do returns". I replied, "I just need you to credit my return, I have the receipt". she replied: " I don't have to do [censored]"!
Long story short, Mgr. Jamilla verified with Tracy and Sharron that I did indeed bring the product into the store, and I was ultimately given a refund.
I understand that returns are a hassle and this particular store is exceptionally busy (especially on the weekends) which leads to stress, anxiety and overload. What I don't understand is being cussed at.
I would appreciate a call or reply in regard to this incident.
Thank You.
