Freedom Heating & Cooling My Air Conditioning stoped working

My Air Conditioning stoped working. Freedom Heating and Air came and said it needed a part. When they came back 3 days later, the part was wrong. But they fixed it without it. The charge was TOO MUCH, $1500 including stuff (tape, gases, etc), a warranty processing fee and charge to set up and read gauges. Then another fee for LABOR. I called and complained and they said they would give me back $413.00. I have called 6 times and still no refund check.

Freedom Heating & Cooling I bought an HVAC system from Freedom in May

I bought an HVAC system from Freedom in May . Since then, I've had lots of issues with the system. Just recently, on 12/8, a tech came out and said the coil was "burned up" and the part was covered under warranty, but the labor would cost $1100. I thought the cost was way too high and called the company to talk about it, and talked to ***. *** said he'd call me back after he talked to his boss. I never got a call back and I've called, talked to a customer service rep 7+ times, and emailed twice, but no one will call me back. Their website says they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee *** but they won't even talk to me. I feel like they sold me a broken product and now they won't fix it for a fair price.

Freedom Heating & Cooling I bought an air conditioner, furnace, and ductwork from Freedom

I bought an air conditioner, furnace, and ductwork from Freedom. The guy who did the work said he wasn't sure if the damper was set right. He said I'd have to wait a few days for the house to cool down to know for sure. He also said he'd tell the owner about the problem and they'd come back with him to help with the air ducts in the back rooms because he couldn't put the duct in all the way. I called the company to let them know I was worried because the bedroom and workout room weren't cooling properly. They made an appointment for Monday. On Tuesday, someone came out and said within 5 minutes that it was beyond his expertise. He called his supervisor to come to the site. They scheduled another appointment for Wednesday, but they didn't show up. I called customer service, but nobody answered. I called on Thursday morning and talked to a manager. I explained what happened on Wednesday. He said he'd look into it and send someone out that evening. The technician arrived around 5:30 and within 5 minutes, he said he couldn't fix the dampers.

Freedom Heating & Cooling Are you kidding me?

Are you kidding me? First off, I'm a retired HVAC business owner. I called this company because my health prevents me from doing HVAC work anymore. The problem wasn't difficult to diagnose or repair. Anyway, the tech comes and tries to diagnose the problem with a multimeter. The first thing he should have done, after I told him what the problem was, was to use a Manometer on the furnace. This would determine whether 1) the pressure switch was bad since the proper pressure was present but the switch wasn't closing reliably, or 2) the pressure switch was operating properly but opening because the furnace was plugged up in some way. But no, the tech asked me what a Manometer was. He then told me the inducer motor was no good. I then proved him wrong. So when he left, I called the company and requested another tech. They said they would send a manager the next day. Well, the next day came and went. No one ever showed up or called. Do yourself a favor and find another company.

Freedom Heating & Cooling A technician came on June 13 and fixed our AC

A technician came on June 13 and fixed our AC. He said I owed a $39.00 service fee. I started with Freedom in 2014 and paid for a labor warranty to match the parts warranty. Both warranties go until June 2024. I also paid for their Freedom Comfort Club until the end of 2023. They never mentioned a service fee for the first five years. They tried charging me in September , but I argued and they waived it. The technician said this happens "all the time" when I disputed it this time. Since it was Sunday, I said I wouldn't pay and would call the manager on Monday, but he said it would probably "come out of his pocket". So I paid and said I would call. I called twice and was told the manager was in a meeting and would call me back. After no response, I sent an email. All have been ignored. I also never got an invoice.

Freedom Heating & Cooling This is a follow up to a complaint 2 weeks ago

This is a follow up to a complaint 2 weeks ago. Freedom got in touch with me (a man named ***). I told him the problem since he said he has gotten notice and he sent a technician out again. THE PROBLEM CALLS FOR AN ELECTRICIAN NOT THE SAME TECH THAT CAME THE FIRST TIME. The technician went up in the attic and came down with his same diagnosis he couldn't find the problem. He then asked to see the ticket of another company so he could see what that person was working on. He went out of my house and called the person and came back to tell me that the person said they found the problem when he was here but I couldn't pay at the time. The tech at my house said the guy on the phone told him that he didn't think that Freedom had caused the problem. NOW THAT WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL ON THE PART OF THE OTHER COMPANY AND I HAVE CALLED THEM ALSO. The Freedom tech left my house, I have not heard anything more and I am still left with A PROBLEM THAT FREEDOM LEFT MY HOUSE WITH. When they came initially, I had power in both bathrooms and when they left, I had NONE. I AM GOING TO THE HOSPITAL FOR CANCER SURGERY AND I CANNOT COME HOME WITH NO POWER IN MY BATHROOMS SO I AM GOING TO HAVE TO GO ON AND GET AN ELECTRICIAN TO COME OUT. BUT FREEDOM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING SOME OF MY BILL AND THAT IS ONLY THE RIGHT THING FOR THEM TO DO. The way they have serviced me is totally and unethically wrong but they will get their karma back through someone else that they mistreat.

Freedom Heating & Cooling In fall 2020, Freedom Heating and Cooling agreed to fix my HVAC under my home warranty.

During the fall of 2020, Freedom Heating and Cooling agreed to fix my HVAC system under the home warranty I had. They stated that after I paid my deductible, they would repair the system at my house and bill the warranty provider. I spoke with Freedom's customer service and a manager, who confirmed the service would be billed to the warranty provider. The repair occurred on 08/04. Since then, Freedom Heating and Air employees have repeatedly contacted me for payment. I've clarified that the warranty covered the repairs and I'm not liable for further costs. Despite this, managers from Freedom Heating and Air have called, seeking payment. I've consistently stated that my obligations were met through the warranty provider. On 01/21/2022, I received an invoice for the two-year-old service on my former home's HVAC. I've paid my due to the warranty provider and should not be financially responsible for these repairs. The ongoing correspondence and calls from Freedom Heating and Air feel like harassment.
