I purchased a model GMBS3068AFA FRIGIDAIRE microwave oven. I requested repair under the 1-year manufacturer's warrantee on 9/18/2023. Their technician came on 9/19/2023 diagnosed the problem and ordered the need part for repair. This part (magnetron) is supposed to be delivered to my Houston, TX address. However, the part delivery date keeps changing every time I call them at their customer service number [protected]. For example on my 9/29/2023 call they said that the part will be delivered in 5-10 days. On my 10/19/2023 call they said that the needed part for repair will be delivered before 11/6/2023. It is clear to me that they do not intend to honor the 1-year manufacturer's warrantee. As of today 10/19/2023 it has been two months since I reported the breakdown of my microwave. Such delay appears artificial and not due to the lack of the needed part in the market which can be bought on popular appliance repair parts with a delivery time of 1-3 days. For this reason, I am filing today this complaint.
