Horrible Experience. Actual offer was $100 less than original quote.
I originally received an offer of $209 for flawless condition of my iphone. Then after gadgetgone had my phone in their possession for 7 days I received an email with an offer of $109 ($100 less) because of deep scratches found on the screen. My phone was flawless.. with zero scratches..not even a blemish. I rejected their offer of $109 and they immediately responded with a new quote of $140! I rejected this offer as well and requested that my phone be returned. Do not trust these people.

I had used other services in the past, but GadgetGone was at the top of my search. It's hard not to get anxious sending in hundreds of dollars of electronics without knowing the company. But they were always responsive and followed through on their payment. They did have one issue with an old iPhone battery, but it was the least valued item and I wasn't surprised in the slightest. Based on my experience, I would certainly use them again and encourage others to do so as well!

It took me 3 weeks to get my check. GadgetGone responds by email within a few hours, which is better than most in this business. Nevertheless, GadgetGone is slower than promised, even with its extended covid schedule. In fact, GadgetGone never told me it had inspected my item until I emailed to ask. They missed their promised ship date too. This is stuff you can't blame on the post office. All in all, an unpleasant experience.

Quick, honest and efficient. I had two old iPhones that I was going to sell on ebay. By accident I came across GadgetGone's website so I contacted them instead. I evaluated my phones to get a quote from them and then mailed the phones in with a pre-paid shipping label. They contacted me with some alterations in the evaluations and offered a very reasonable purchase price. Once I accepted, they quickly sent me the money via an Amazon credit. The whole interaction was a breeze and I'll have no hesitation contacting them in the future when I want to sell electronics.

Process from start to finnish is very easy. I traded in an iPhone 11 Promax. I looked at several places on line and these guys gave the most money. They provide free shipping label, you pack it and mail it. They will email or text you confirmation of receipt. Within a day or two a tech will get back confirming condition. Mine was exactly as I stated. I had chosen a paper check. In a day or two they confirmed it was mailed, which I received in the mail at the speed of the USPS (several days). I have to be honest, I was hesitant to do this at first. There proactive manner gave me confidence. I would use them again for sure.

Terrible business practices
Terrible business practices. After turning down two terrible offers for a phone that was in pristine condition they returned it without the original box in which I sent it. After contacting them about it the representative who replied indicated that this "policy" was in their "terms of use" to ensure safety for employees. Most individuals know that if you sell a phone privately, there is typically greater value if you have the original box but the box also contains critical info for a new owner such as the serial number, IMEI, etc. It is almost as if GadgetGone is setting you up to get less for your phone privately after trying to convince you that your phone is defective.

Hello, I had made a claim that had a Galaxy s23 ultra and Galaxy a50 and then two of the Galaxy a13s but I took photos and the post office helped me box it. But now once someone has gotten in touch with me they are now saying that they did not receive the most too important devices basically I am out of two phones and I am not getting my money that was guaranteed. This is ridiculous and I will get a legal involvement if I have to because I know for a fact I sent those.

Total bait & switch. I sent an iPhone 8 after receiving an offer for approximately $120. The phone was in perfect condition, with no issues. I received a quote from GadetGone for a cracked iPhone X. I clearly indicated that the phone was cracked. The offer I received was $120. The phone was in working perfect working condition. Now they are claiming the phone is worth $40 because the phone is cracked and that the phone isn't working?! What did they do to the phone in the two days they had it to make it not work?! I sent two iPhone X phones back to gadgetgone and they were delivered Monday, 11/16. As of Saturday, 11/21, the status has not been updated and they clearly state it will after two business days. I have made 3 phone calls, sent two emails, as well as three text messages to an employee named David (this employee sent me a message asking if I needed assistance prior to shipping). No response from anyone, no one answers or returns calls, and they have a lot of valuable electronics of mine.

Received quote from company. Never received payment. Unable to contact company. I sent two phones to be purchased by this company back in Sept/Oct. I received a response on October 19 stating the value this company was willing to pay for these phones. I replied asking for them to send payment and my email was bounced back. In the initial email it said if there was no reply to this email in 14 days, a check would be sent for the payment of these phones. I have not received any checks. I have left multiple voicemails and have received no callbacks. I have sent several emails, all of them bouncing back saying no email address exists.

I contacted the company to let them know the check bounced, and tehy stated on Oct 28 that "they checked their statements and not seeing returned funds. That their bank said nothing was returned. Sent my damaged phone. They offered me less for it. I asked for it back. They sent it. My damaged phone is now a faulty phone. No charger sent either. I sold them my Samsung Galaxy S9 with a damaged screen and charger. They offered me less than they quoted me. I asked for it back. They sent me a phone that is now registering as faulty, which is worth less money. I verified and they sent me back the same phone per the IMEI number. They never sent me back the charger. Now I have a phone with no charger that registers as faulty. Decluttr was going to offer me $185 for my phone (this information I shared with Gadgetgone). Now, I have to buy a new charger and get offered $40 less by Decluttr. All in all, I'm out $50 because of Gadgetgone messing with my phone and not returning the charger.

Recently I sent in my iPhone X for the payment of $199 via Amazon gift card. I made it clear it was cracked like the survey asked. Before I sent it out I took a video showing that all buttons, both cameras, and speakers are all functioning perfectly. Today I received an email saying they would either send the phone or $119 because the phone was cracked, the speakers weren't working properly, and the camera wasn't working. My boyfriend said the offer sounded like a scam but I didn't believe him. After looking at reviews it seems like they do this more often than not. They're just looking for any reason to not send what they offered and if you don't respond to their email they send whatever amount they feel like sending. DO NOT USE GADGET GONE.

The company recived my phone on [protected] after I had to contact them because I saw my phone was picked up, and still nothing. One of the companies response was things are slow because of COVID. Businesses are letting people know that things may be delayed due to COVID, which your website does not do. Your website does not indicate anything about delays, which tells the world you're operating as normal, which means no delays. Is it illegal, no, but very unethical. Now I'm guessing, based on other complaints, that you'll make contact now, and I'll get way less than what was quoted. The paper trail is getting longer. I would like for gadget-gone to finish my transaction, and please let people know on your website if you're having delays due to COVID. We get that COVID is out here disrupting work places, but when you don't let people know it look intentional and very shady.

Classic bait and switch, offered me $298 for my unlocked iPhone XR. Once the "inspection" was completed offer was reduced to $160. Their offered just stated most phones are not flawless, not an actually description of any damages or blemishes on the item. They also stated since my carrier was xfinity mobile, it reduced my offer. The carrier was not selectable on their questionnaire and the phone is unlocked so the carrier does not matter. They stated the phone was in "good" condition. I checked their website again today (2/2) to see what a current offer would for a phone like mine in "good" condition would be, the offers were $278 (unlocked) and $273 (Verizon the towers used by the phone). Not sure how my offer would be so low, when they quote a much higher price for the same thing on their website. Their offer to me after the "inspection" was actually lower than the quotes for the same phone listed as "cracked" on their website. I want to be paid the quote, not 54% of quote

I sold my iPhone XR to this company. I shipped it to them on April 3 and they received the phone on April 7. It was evaluated the next day on the 8th. I was originally quoted 292 dollars because I indicated it was in Flawless condition instead of good. It was in excellent condition but there was no option for that. The evaluator sent me a revised offer on the 8th of $272 dollars and I replied instantly that I accepted this offer. The next day I received a few emails saying my order was complete and I had been paid. I chose *** as my payment option and have not been sent any more. If you check my order status online it says I was paid, this is not true. When someone sends you *** funds you get a confirmation email notification. I also went on *** to check my account and have not been paid. It takes a matter for seconds to send a payment so I'm not sure when my order was completed why this was not done. Now I will have to wait until Monday at best for an answer.

I sent it to them in the original box that it was purchased from had zero scratches zero defects the phone was unlocked and they promised that they would give me the 625 as long as it was in the condition I said it was the only way that my price would be affected would be because of battery life. They never mentioned anything about battery life then sent me photos of somebody else's phone that has scratches all on the edges I have photos of my product as I was boxing it up or actually right before I box it up and sent it to them because I read on here that they try to rip people off. So I took photos of my product as I boxed it up you can tell from my photos that my product was in pristine condition with zero scratches or defects unlike the photos they sent me of somebody else's phone that is a different color and has scratches all around the edges that is not my product I have pictures to prove with timestamps on them to also prove with a Geo location that shows this is my product and that the photos that gadget gone sent were not mine I would like my product back with the original box packaging accessories and chargers in the flawless condition like it was sent out and if not give me the full $625 that I was offered an honor their original agreement
