WORST insurance company ever
Worst response and communication turn around, 100% lack of communication. They overpaid the attorney firm and only got a response weeks later stating that my adjuster (G.E.) forgot to uncheck the fee withdraw. After asking for answer (which I didn't got immediately) I was told to deal with the attorney to see if they will return the overpaid money. HORRIBLE company, they should be a law in place to shut them down and get them replaced. They DESTROYING families and lives. STAY AWAY FROM THEM ... !

Receiving WC Pay
Called automated phone system, system says two checks have been issued and I call and check with a live person, they say they don't see anything in their system? After automation already verified two checks? Terrible system... Could have been mailed? I have no idea? I've been getting the run around since this started, I didn't receive any Medicine for four days and was told that I wouldn't receive any help with getting any medication until I gave a full report to my adjuster and that was specifically said to me directly from my adjuster, she very specifically said "I'll help you get your medicine AFTER you give me a report" And not until then after I laid in pain for four days with L-4 and L-5 Disc problems in excruciating pain... And now they're jacking me around on my WC Checks that the automated system says they have been issued. This is beyond ridiculous that they are allowed to treat people this way. Just read all of the reviews and complaints all over the country.

My case fell through the cracks my check is missing and my claims adjuster is no help neither is her supervisor. I need someone with a sense of urgency to look at what I'm saying. This is crazy where is my money. Anthony Randall my case started in 5/17/2020 the lawyer was trash and wasted a lot time. I got rid of him and now the claim adj. isn't responding in a timely manner I asked her were was my check 3wks ago and no answers still.
My case [protected]-wc--01 started in May 2021. I got a bad lawyer and had to fire him for not doing his job the first time. Carlos Molinar apologized and asked if he could represent me pro bono I said yes. Carlos did the same thing no communication - updating me- talks or advising me on the case. Things are a mess the claims adjuster Mrs.Griffith allegedly sent a check to an account that was closed in October 2021. The bank confirmed that never happened the lawyer and she were the only ones with the check info so where is my money? They have always mailed the check that I have gotten one might need to be prosecuted cause I can't get simple answers about money allegedly paid to me from Gallagher Bassett into an account that was closed with no tracking number or bank it was deposited in. I've called and emailed without positive answers. I saw the judge about getting my money and injury fixed on June 15th of this year. It is now September 26th and Mrs.Griffith nor her supervisor can provide a tracking number or a good explanation on what s going on with my impairment rating check.

My husband on 2/04/2004. got a injury where he worked,and had to go on workman's comp.it took us a very long time before the claim was settled,and even at that time we had to get a lawyer ,The claim was settled Since then and I am saying after all these years to this day we have had encountered the worst service possible ,my husband is now on two medications one being a pain med that is a controlled substance,and the other being Gabapentin,For well over 20 years we have had to call WC,at least 2 out of 5 times They change insurance company s,they gave us a different worker,the list is endless of how we were treated and still being treated, the phones calls I have had to make were endless ,from starting with a worker ,but was no longer a worker,to all the way up to the insurance company.my complaints to them did not seem relevant,and I can't tell you how many times I have had to play phone tag it was exhausting frustrating,and most of the time would take place over a couple of days,When we had a new worker or the fact they changed Insurance company's ,we were never informed There we're times he would have to wait for his meds for days,
This last time 8/03/2023 was our breaking point He had to see the pain doctor as he does every 3 months,He has Neuropathy and it's extremely hard for him to ambulate,when he got to her office no one was there, note on the door that said Dr Reeves was only there on Thursdays and Fridays ,It was Thursday.and his appointment card was for that day, So that started the phone tag,We we're told our worker Tammy Zebian was no longer his worker we should contact another worker and then anotherI was so annoyed I resorted to calling a ombudsman person,she gave me some helpful hints,I again called This Tammy who at this point was our worker again,she never once called to tell us anything .and is very rude she talks to fast and is hard to understand and she also told me she refused to speak to me and would only speak to my husband,I decided to contact the WC people here in Roswell NM, That being a waste of time his name was Chris and he stated He contacted Tammy and the meds would be ordered,they weren't, I called Chris back no answer,left a message for him to call me back he didn't.and this is how it goes every time there is a mix up and then phone tag starts, After Twenty some years and nothing has changed we don't have another recourse,to go to,

My husband was injured at work in October. Since then we have had to chase around his comp payments at keast bi-weekly. They continually do not call back or respond to emails. Today I was finally able to talk to a supervisor who told me they couldn't do anything for several days. At some point these trained liars need to be held accountable! I must say I am very disappointed in Gallagher Bassett, I have been an employee for 5 years at Sapp Bros truck stop, on January 23rd of this year I slipped and fell and sustained a torn rotator cuff, Gallagher Bassett denied my claim even though there is video surveillance showing my accident, I did not ask to slip and fall and tear my rotator cuff, however I would expect an insurance company to follow through with this claim and do the right thing, however they are making it hard for me, they denied my claim, I have not seen any workman's compensation, I cannot go back to work without a doctor's note clearing me to go back to work for "full" duty, apparently they do not have any light duty whatsoever in the entire store, if you can believe that, to make things worse, I cannot get that note from the orthopedic because Gallagher Bassett will not approve me seeing an orthopedic, so what do you do when you're in this position?

I filed a claim 12/9/2022 for a work injury with Tristar on the date of injury. I also notified my employer on the same date. Gallagher Bassett took the contract for Illinois on 2/1/2023. I have requested indemnity payments numerous times from both Tristar and Gallagher Bassett with no correspondence received back. Medical bills have also gone unpaid. I would appreciate it if a resolution was expedited since it has been 95 days with no income.
Desired outcome: Resolution of claim.

I was in an accident on January 24 2002. A claim was made and after much delay I was told to put my vehicle in the shop on April 20. I have yet to proceed any further I cannot reach my adjuster his backup or their supervisor. I am without information and a vehicle. Workers Compensation Claim adjuster
We have been rendering monthly medical services to an injured worker since January 2022. Every bill is returned as "billing error" without any explanation. The denials are signed by Denise * with a phone number for 'customer service' who does not know who Denise is nor can provide any information other than another number which is just another dead end. After some research found the direct number for Denise. After several left messages to Denise and Maria* her supervisor, Denise called in March stating she would release payment and have EOB's forwarded to us. Nothing has been received as of June 7th. Since nothing was received as promised, several messages were left for the two individuals above as well as the billing review department and have not been returned. Interesting both Denise's and Maria's voice greeting refer the caller to phone numbers that are bogus but similar enough to the actual medical billing department number (1 digit by Maria, transposed numbers by Denise). I'll leave you to decide whether this is purposeful or not.

I was eworking through a temp company called mega force in statesville theyhire me to work for freightlihers industry in cleveland nc I was on december 26 2004 then on december 27 2004 I was coming the ladder about high up as 10 to 12 feet or higher I fell off the ladder injuiered my knee foot back neck and headb they took me to irdell memorial in statesville nc they did x-rays they going to send me home 3 oclock in the morning and to me to back 8 am to get a cast on my foot I told them I could not come back at that time because I could not go home and be back 8 nam because I live mooresville nc so she call the doctor said to admit her and fond her a room so 7 am the doctor came and sid my foot was crusned like egg shell factures in going put in a cast they did a knee lunbar never mentiom mothing about it third they go home on the 29 of december they gave bme a doctor appointment told when to so went to the appointments so the 2 or 3 month he cut the cast off to me to stand up and walk I could not he put my nfoot in a boot told me not to come back to his office he did not give me any kind of infortmation to take to another doctor so ihad to find a doctor on my on I went to this doctor in statesville nc the check my foot told me to come out of that boot and she put a slipper boot on my foot told me I coukd drive then said come backin a couple weeks and went back she was gone so I had to find another I found one he told me I had arthiritht in my foot he give me a shot he put my foot in a cast then, e to ncome back I keep going back and forth then he told me he was not going to be my doctor I found another doctor sbe put my ffoot in a boot and gave me shots in my foot I told her my knee was hurting I even told that doctor before I went her my knee was hurting I could barely walk and would not do nothing about so the doctor left and more to different state so I decided to call ralieght nc I told them my knee and foot was hurting and I needed therpay they gave me appointment knee therpay I kept going did x - rays said I might need need surgey or knee replacement so instead they sending me to therpay if I lose wait eat leafy vegetables no caffenine walk and loosebwait so I did kept to tjherpay they said do not need knee surgey it is my back said call your doctor tell her to set an appointment with a back therpaist I so I steady going to knee and back therpay still have to walk with a cane down in my knee and back they never gave information they keot billing my insurance never compensated me so in 2018 I was my drawers out in my apartment somebody had put some checks un my apartmentbi bcalled commission because they said was nit going to pay me notjhing everything was closed they going to deny everything they ere not going to compensate I told them every injuried worker get compestaed they going to I told them I found some checks date 20045 I told them to make them they would not I called the insurac in charoltte they said you case closed they said they doing what raliegh told them to do I am injury bworker going forth to doctor fall of a laddert hitting hard concrete no compensation injuries going be with me the rest of my life they do not want to pay I called raliegh they said called the insdurance company I called and told raliegh me to call every I to;d them about injuries and back foth to doctosrs no compensation would not no one call meand still can barely wak and going back and for totherpay and they had my insurance to pay and would not give me no insurance infortmation
First compensation for lost time after 3 months of being out of work
I had to stop working per my doctor because of a work injury the end of January. A month and a half in to being out of work, I finally got ahold of an adjuster. Turns out, my adjuster had changed to someone new. This information was not shared with me. It took another 3 weeks to finally get my new adjuster on the phone. The adjuster didn’t know that I had been out of work. Another month later and I finally received my first payment for lost time. This check took so long to get to me because they switched systems and my full address didn’t get transferred to their new system. The check was returned to them and they couldn’t send it again until they received it. Now, the check is on hold for another week before ANY funds are available to me. 3 months of being out of work and I am behind on bills all because of their continuous mistakes. This is not ok.
I am now enrolled in direct deposit and I’m hoping this helps with their incompetence to perform their job duties correctly.
Desired outcome: I’d like a response as soon as possible.
workers comp adjuster and benefits
i was injured on the job 3/14/22, my orthopedic ordered 6 weeks off work and 4 weeks of physical therapy. i have yet(4/20/22) to speak to the adjuster assigned to my case, nor receive any treatments or benefits. they are a paid insurance company by my employer to supply benefits in case of an injury , which they have failed to do so. counterintuitive to any progress or returning to work. Claim [protected]-wc-01. seems to me lawsuits must be quite heavy against Gallagher Bassitt based on reviews and other complaints. Jennifer Voelkl is the "resolution" manager on my account. ironic the lack of "resolution"
Desired outcome: i would like my therapy treatments authorized, my benefits begun and a business that is paid for services to actually do their job.
Provider claim processing
On 11/15/2021 My office submitted a claim to Gallagher Bassett for a Medical-Legal Evaluation that I performed on a Workers Compensation Claimant.
The ML201 evaluation Cpt Code was paid in full, by Gallagher Bassett and all diagnostic tests performed that day were denied as No Prior authorization.
On 12/20/21 I contacted the Bill review Department and requested that the denied services be sent back for reprocessing as this was a Medical-Legal Evaluation, the representative stated all necessary documentation had been included in the original claim submission.
On 01/21/2022 I contacted Gallagher Bassett for a status of the claim reprocessing, the representative stated there had been no resolution, allow another 30-45 days, meanwhile the representative will send a message to the escalation department for a quicker resolution
On 03/16/2022 I contacted Gallager Bassett for a status of the claim escalation / reprocessing request initially done on 12/20/2021. Per this representative, The original request for reprocessing was denied 2 days after the initial request on 12/22/2021 at the adjuster level and never made it to bill review.
As to my surprise and upset I asked the representative why the provider was never notified of such rejection, in December 2021 or in January 2022, the representative had no answer to my question.
I was instructed to reach out to the adjuster on the claim, then try to submit the claim again for a second-level bill review.
It has been 132 days since I provided a service and have been given the run around ever since. We as Medical Legal Evaluators provide a service out of good faith to help resolve or settle claims with the Department of Workers' compensation and deserve to be compensated for such services.
Desired outcome: Professional conduct by adjusters and representatives. For Claims not to be incorrectly denied, and timely communication with providers.
Worker’s Compensation
Initially, my claim was submitted to GB and not even reported to Workers Compensation. Going into my fourth week, since my injury, I finally received my first check, for the first two weeks I have been off, since my injury. Being unable to drive, due to my injury, I attempted to deposit my check, via mobile deposit and was informed it could not be processed. So I got a ride, 35 miles each way, to go to a branch office of the bank on which the check was drawn. To my surprise the check is no good. The bank informed me that there was “ nothing they could do with it” and that the check” can not be cashed”
Do not fight them alone. Get an attorney to represent you, the second you hear GB name. The representative has spoken to me once, in over a month. Doesn’t return messages or calls, yet had the nerve to send me a letter saying they haven’t been able to reach me? A purely CYA move, it appears. Also don’t wait for them to schedule your appointments, do it yourself. A week after my MRI, they called to tell me they had finally scheduled me one, for the next week.
Of course I am in need of surgery for my blown out right knee. Who knows, when or if, it will happen. Unfortunately, my nightmare with GB is only beginning.
Desired outcome: Get a actual check I can cash, that won’t bounce! Get my surgery approved so I get back to work, since I cannot trust to receive my pay from GB
