Bought a $3,500 sectional couch.
Bought the white glove delivery.
Had it delivered on November 18.
The two delivery guys did not want to be there, you could just tell. My room was empty for them. They didn’t not have to work around any obstacles. They asked me how I wanted the 6 pieces placed. I told them, and also said, if it fits. Long story short, it wasn’t going to fit, so I said, this piece needs to be moved, they kept telling me, these pieces would not go together because of the way they latch together…. Everyone I said let’s move it here or here, they kept saying it would fit. , finally I said my had to be moved. They did. Then one guy ran out and started the truck the other handed me the phone to sign that it was put together, then I said, can we move it back to the wall some, he said no, it couldn’t be moved. It was two feet away from the wall! At that point I was so mad, I told her he could just leave.
I called the store, they said they would look into it and cash me back. They never called me back, about an hour later, the moving guys had come back. My neighbor told them to leave. I had requited his help to move this couch I had just bought.
We had to take it apart and move it back to the wall.
I called the store on Monday to talk to a manager, who said they could not refund my white glove delivery charge. He said he would call me back, well he hasn’t yet.
What horrible service. They delivery guys made me feel like I had to choice but to Just leave it the way they set it up. That’s not what I paid for. A about it not being able to move it around like I had asked. They just didn’t want to do it.
And they manager should have called r back by now.
I want my delivery fee back and then some for having to do it my self.
