I'm a full-time remote worker. Been on another freelancer site bigger job pool. Big mistake! Signed up, fixed my profile then sent in the KYC verification documents. They did have a question about my location which was understandable because I was in a different country when I signed up. I explained the situation and they accepted the explanation. Now they accepted all my verification info and asked me for an additional document, a bank statement, from the country (let's call it my second home) that I was in at the time. Remember, they already have all of the required documents from my home country. Well, I sent the scanned statement with ALL the information that they requested - my name, residential address, phone number, bank's name, address and telephone number, plus the bank's stamp.
They rejected it and asked me to send a PDF statement that was downloaded directly from my bank's website. I did that, however, the pdf from the site didn't have all of the information that they wanted, and I mentioned that to them because I was still wondering why they needed it because I gave them what they asked for already. Again, rejected and asked me for a SCANNED copy of the bank statement. Mind you, that was the first document that I sent to them. I said, ok, let me try one more time, went back to the bank and had them print a 6-page statement with ALL of the requested info and an official stamp from the bank. Scanned it and sent it. The next day the message I get is "Please send a color copy, we don't accept black-and-white copies of documents"... I had enough, the bank doesn't even have a color printer, because in the country I was in at the time (3rd world) color printers aren't a priority, so it's common not to find them unless you go to a special printer. Also, it's like they don't communicate. One message asked for a scanned copy, and then in another message I was told they don't accept scanned copies - they are clueless and unprofessional. There is no reason for this 48 hour verification process to be this tedious and take 12 days and counting, especially when I've sent so much information already.
Their customer service is horrendous. I had someone that contacted me when I first signed up, he was very nice and helpful, and as soon as I expressed my displeasure with the process and the length of time it was taking, he ghosted me and stopped answering my questions. I tried deleting my account, and they keep sending me back to the verification center, so I'm still waiting for them to do whatever they need to do to get my info and account deleted for good! IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THIS ACCOUNT DELETED PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Recommendation: AVOID THEM!
