Just to let you know that I've stopped shopping at Giant Eagle and now Get Go. My complaints are all the stuff that you put in the aisle. So much stuff that I can't get through them. Next, I was getting my prescriptions but not any longer. Again, too much stuff put close to the aisle and very difficult to get to the cashier.
But today was the last straw at the local Get Go. I've been going to Giant Eagle and Get Go for years but even at Get Go you have placed a rack of stuff by the checkout that makes it very difficult to get out once you've paid for your items. But today I was buying Marlboro which you have a special of buying 2 packs to get $170 off if you buy 2 packs. I have been buying these 4 at a time for as long as you have had this promotion. But there is one lady there that always gives me a hard time about doing this. So there was 2 people in front of me and this same lady was laughing and joking with some guy that she knows for about 5 minutes while me and the other man waited. They couldn't help the other guy so I went up and ordered the 4 packs but wanted to pay fo them 2 at a time to get the discount but she told me that she wasn't allowed to do that when there was a long line. Well, there wouldn't have been a long line if she hadn't spent so much time with her friend. I've been at both Giant Eagle and also Get Go when other people pay for 2 items separately. So I took my money and let and will never return.
I know that you really don't care about one person but I'm going to tell all my family and friends about what happened. Most of the people at this Get Go location are nice and friendly but this lady always give me a hard time. So I just won't show at either Giant Eagle or Get Go anymore. There have been other instances of stuff that happened to me but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Goodbye forever
Desired outcome: Too late and I contacted you before and never heard back from you so I don't expect to hear from you this time either. I did look online and saw that you only answer 3% of complaints.

First was unable to assess survey. I was at Giant Eagle today One item I wanted to purchase, were the cookies for.99 for national cookie day. They were out except for the sugar cookie variety. I went to the GetGo and at the bottom of my receipt it directed me to go to Survey3.medllia.com/gg within 5 days. which I found with no problem online. However, it states that the survey is no longer available. This was supposed to be redeemable for 10 perks. I want to have my perks added to my account. The date on my receipt is 8/1/2023. Medallia survey..
I have gone 3 times in the past week - everytime I try to fill out a survey , I cannot find it. I am shuffled to 6 /7 websites... none of which is the actual survey. I am frustrated with this new system. Before, GE did their own survey and I could immediately fill it out. I was very satisfied with that. I wish GE would stop using Medallia - since it is non-existent.
Desired outcome: Stop using Medallia - or at least, have the correct linc on the receipt. I feel like you don't really want feedback.
Perks survey new address
I'm totally disappointed because several times after shopping, I'm unable to fill out the survey to receive the extra perks. From the very beginning of the address change, the address continues to be unavailable. Customer service continues to claim it's a viable site, Microsoft says they can't find it either. This is totally rediculous & I'd like real answers. What is going on?
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate knowing what browsers Giant Eagle customer service is using since a couple of staff have assured me it goes through for them.
the Medalllia survey
I have shopped at GE for years... have used the survey from GE- which was very easy. Now, it's impossible to even get to Medallia's survey . I have to go to 4/5 different sites, but never get to the actual survey. All the money I spend at the store is never registered. I cannot continue spending time and money on something that is not accessible. I wish you would go back to GE survey or have the link to Medallia on my receipt, like before. This was not a good move, for GE.. frustration is not good. 7/28/23 For 2 days I have tried to access the survey to get my points.
Desired outcome: I would like easy access to the survey- right on the receipt, like in the past.
Bakery
I placed an order for a cake at Giant Eagle on Chagrin in Beachwood over the phone a week ago.
I picked the cake up on July 26th. The cake was for a colleague who is leaving the organization. When we cut the cut on both sides it was vanilla. I told her to cut in the middle and cake was vanilla. I called back to let the bakery know it was not half chocolate/vanilla. The worker said call in the morning to speak to manager. I called this morning and he said there was nothing he can do. It’s human error. Cannot provide gift card or compensate. I will never order from Giant Eagle ever again.

Employee yelling
Was in Community Market on July 20th. between 4 and 4:15, a worker M. J. was sitting in a disabled cart spaking to someone. Some body asked her to help on register as it was busy, she yelled " thats not my job" In front of alot of customers, very uncalled for, now im in there pretty much every day and this goes on all the time with her, always yelling never speaking in private. Shes just very mean. I live in Bloomfield and its the closest other wise I would go some where else.
Product increase
This is a minor complaint but very annoying. I purchase the flavored star kist tunas in the packets almost weekly. 2-3 weeks ago they cost $1.49 for everyone. GE has recently changed the way in which a customer may comment, and take a survey, However, I am not able to access an account or the website. Why change the site for the survey? The previous was so easy to use. At the price of today's food and gasoline, I am grateful and dependent upon GE perks, It is evident to me that this new site may be a management ploy to prevent frequent shoppers from receiving perks! We may never return to a GE or GEt go.

I would like to compliment my cashier, Jessica S., Giant Eagle, 8080 McIntyre Square, Store # 67, Pittsburgh, PA. She is always very positive, always has a smile, and very knowledgeable. Please confirm if you can pass these compliments on to her management.
I've also tried several times to access this site to no avail. Customer service continues to say it's a working site. Just tried again and I don't know where it's leading me, but what I wont do is infect my laptop, to get some perks. This for me hasn't worked for weeks. Then yesterday I went to use current perks and found they had been used at a location that I've never been to before. On the positive side they just added a few perks and returned them to my account. Hopefully when i go to use them again they will be there. Smh

I went in to buy cigs and the clerk Aoushah (?) wasn't applying my advantage card correctly and snapped that the price went up. I informed her that was not the case and she said I would have to talk to a manager. I waited while she continued to ring other customers but never called for a manager. After some time she snapped for the security guard, Dave, to get a manager. Dave refused to call for a manager and told me to go up the street to the Marathon ? I told him I'd rather wait and he told me I was NOT going to see a manager. This was a little after 9pm on Wedsenday July 12, 2023. He took a minor situation and turned it into a blow out. I also understand clerks not wanting to admit their mistakes but she could have easily been guided in the right direction had she just had her manager show her. I just had the worst experience in twenty years of shopping at the Edgewood Town Centre Giant Eagle. I was in line for one of the cashiers, who was being trained. He was not the problem, nor was the lady in line ahead of me. The man behind me started nudging my cart forward after I had put all my groceries on the conveyer belt and was waiting my turn at a respectful distance from the lady in front of me. He asked me to move forward so he could put his groceries on the conveyer belt as well, even though it wasn't moving. I told him I didn't want to crowd the lady in front of me, but he was undeterred. He continued to press on my cart and me in order to put items on the belt and even walked around me to do so. Bear in mind, he had nothing to gain by doing so. He was not going to get out of the store even one second earlier by doing that.
When I had had enough of his behavior, I retrieved my empty bags from the belt and walked out, leaving behind my empty cart and everything I'd intended to buy on the belt.
Desired outcome: Please put up signs: "Do NOT crowd the customer ahead of you. Aggressive customers will be asked to leave."
Prepared foods at southland giant eagle
I ordered chicken for my party on july 9th at 3oclock. Got a call at 1230 that they could not make my chicken because they had a power outage that morning. If they would have called me earlier I could have ordered chicken somewhere else. It was supposed to be my main entry. I was really dissapointed. I purchase coffee two to three times a day from GetGo. I am charged something different depending on who's working. I am a senior w/Atna card, I understand some things aren't covered. Debra was training Mathew W. scanned my Aetna card and still debited my credit card the whole amount. Noticed it and went to customer service to no avail. Meanwhile because of the debit I have incurred 60.00 over limit fees. I was trying to rent a Bissell carpet cleaner from the Giant Eagle in North Royalton, OH on the corner of State Road and State Route 82.
I walked in at 7:20 P.M. and their customer service booth is closed down. Noone was willing to help me. Their excuse was noone wants to work.- I understand this. Believe me. However - the desk doesn't close till 9 P.M. and even the rentals for the Bissell carpet cleaners says 8 P.M.
Yet here I am at 7:30 P.M. filing this report out. I've got my own job to do and I'm in the process of moving houses. I needed the machine tonight. So to tell me, "Oh it's just that noone wants to work." - I'm sorry - that isn't my problem. I respect that this store may be understaffed but this was a waste of my time, my gas, and my energy when the website says 9 P.M., and the store itself says 9 P.M. on the service desk being closed.
If I got here 10 mins before they closed down - fine. I get it. However.. it is 1.5 hours before they are supposed to be closing the service desk.
I'm very unhappy by this.
Desired outcome: I'd just appreciate if someone got back to me on this. I didn't purchase anything so I don't want a refund. I'll still shop at Giant Eagle but I need someone to clear this up. This is very frustrating.
