Covid emergency is over. This being the case, why is it that both stores in manassas are consistently out of stock of items that are staples. Recently it took over a month to et in delmonte italian green beans. Now there is no delmonte zucchini in tomato sauce and no canned carrots and now blueberries. Last week there was a problem with bananas. Or many times it is a yogurt product that is lactose free. I do not understand what is going on. I am 88 years old with a disability so I do curbside pickup, which is a blessing. I try to always do the substitutions but some items cannot be substituted because there are none. I appreciate the effort the shoppers make to please customers but their hands are tied when there is no product.
Also in the last three weeks or so, I have received products that are way out of date. I do not blame this on the shoppers because they do not have the time to check each individual item as they are shopping. This responsibility lies with the store personnel and really needs to be addressed. It is timely to have to keep running back to the store to turn in expired products to exchange for items that are in date. Somebody need to get moving.
Desired outcome: Get the shelves stiocked with viable and available goods
