After a thorough research for my gold IRA options, I made a decision to invest with Goldco
After a thorough research for my gold IRA options, I made a decision to invest with Goldco. They have a great reputation in the field and my experience with the account executive was outstanding. Ben Monaci is a wealth of knowledge in the field. He answered all my questions, provided good recommendations and helped me with a rollover process every step of the way. The experience was very personable and Ben is a sheer pleasure to work with. We are yet to make a selection on metals portfolio, but my experience so far has been very positive. I would recommend Goldco to my friends and family.
John and Ruby at Gold Co worked hard with me to get a company to release my funds
John and Ruby at Gold Co worked hard with me to get a company to release my funds. It took a full two months, but they stuck with me until the company released the "insurance" funds to me. It was not their responsibility, but their assistance was a blessing. The other company tried every trick in the book to keep my money, but John & Ruby's knowledge and determination helped me out of a seven year insurance scam I had been talked into under the name of "annuity." that had lost money. I have now invested that money with Gold Co in products that I believe will continue to be of increased value to my future. .
I've been doing some researching on gold and precious metals for a little while but I was still kind of confused
I've been doing some researching on gold and precious metals for a little while but I was still kind of confused. So after talking with Oscar Aviles from GoldCo, he answered many of my questions and cleared many of my doubts and I decided to transfer some of my savings from my TSP into a Precious Metals IRA with GoldCo. Oscar is always there when I need him with any questions, and if he isn't in the office, any of the other representatives are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous and will get you the answer to your questions. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting to invest in precious metals.

Completed my IRA today
Completed my IRA today. George was my central contact. Fantastic gentleman to work with. Actually, all contacts that I've had working with Goldco have been wonderful to speak with. More than willing to answer any and all questions, plus willing to guide you step by step thru the process. I must admit, I was a bit nervous making this decision, but doing research on Goldco, and others, helped ease the stress. I feel confident in my decision to invest with Goldco, and if financially able in the future, would trade with them in the non IRA market as well. Will definitely recommend this company to friends and family if they're looking to roll over into metals.
No pushy salespeople, please!
No pushy salespeople, please!
Sometimes, when I click on an internet site or an advertisement while I am online, I receive very pushy return calls. To avoid this, I usually shut them down before they can start. This happened when Tim Pikin from Goldco called me. However, he was helpful and not overly pushy. He called me a couple of days later, and we had a lengthy conversation about gold and silver investments. He patiently answered my many questions and addressed my concerns. I decided to invest with Goldco because of how well Tim treated me.
Later, I was transferred to Aurthur J. Schwartz, who was also helpful and engaging to talk to. He assisted me in making my choices on an order form. I was pleased with my decision to use Goldco.
TONY PINO was AWESOME!
TONY PINO was AWESOME! Â He was so personal, and related to us right away. Â We feel like we've already known him for years, the level of trust and camaraderie was so natural. In fact, Tony said he felt like we had already met, even though we had only spoken by phone! Â Tony's decades of experience gave us confidence in the decisions we were making about our finances. He would regularly anticipate our very next question, by providing the next logical piece of information we were seeking. Â We knew Tony's ideas and opinions were sound and well thought out, being customized to our circumstances and goals. Â He welcomed our questions, educated us about where the national economy is headed, and helped us to prepare for unforeseen circumstances. We know that GOLDCO is a leader in the industry, so we are confident we have chosen well! Â And Tony is the ideal personal financial guide! Â Thanks to Tony Pino and GOLDCO, we have peace of mind about our financial future!
My experience with GoldCo started off very well with the sales person spending the time with me and talked about my purchase of gold and silver
My experience with GoldCo started off very well with the sales person spending the time with me and talked about my purchase of gold and silver. I know that the wait time to receive my purchase could go as long as 28 days. It has has been 23 days and I have called just to get a status on the order. I called the salesman twice left messages he did not get back to me. I called customer service and was told that they could not help me and I'd receive a call from the shipping department. Again, I did not receive a call. For a company that is supposed to have great customer service, I have yet to see it. I was going to purchase more gold and silver but now I am not sure I will from GoldCo.

It was a wonderful experience to work with Goldco. The team guided me through the process of transferring my assets to Goldco. They were thorough in answering all the questions we had, ensuring our transaction was smooth. I am glad we could invest our retirement fund in precious metals and I am looking forward to investing more in the future.
I researched gold companies for about 3 months, reading reviews and becoming acquainted with what was available. I also researched about what the best way to invest would be. *** who was my representative was very responsive and very knowledgeable. He took care to explain to me what my options were and I was very pleased with his helpfulness. He was also very prompt returning calls. I would recommend Goldco to anyone interested in investing in precious metals.
I got an email and figured Id check it out. From the first phone call, I was appreciative of the knowledge base and all questions were answered in laymans terms so it was easy to understand. Im glad I the moved my retirement funds to GOLDCO. Thank you for all youve done and will continue to do. Looking out for your customers!
It has been a wonderful experience working with the team at Goldco converting my wife's and my retirement funds to gold and silver. They are experts at what they do and held our hands through the entire transition. I would highly recommend Goldco and suggest asking for a dedicated agent to help you through the process.
I had many precious metals dealers and brokers calling me, but when David Taylor called, it felt different and I am a huge believer in gut
I had many precious metals dealers and brokers calling me, but when David Taylor called, it felt different and I am a huge believer in gut feelings. So when he promptly sent promised material and followed up reasonably soon, I was ready to try a gold and silver buy through my IRA. He was very informative and professional in providing information and recommendations. I did research on the precious metals dealers and found that Goldco was #2 in ranking at American Retirement.com and well-reviewed through other sources. So I dove in and began the process of converting some of my IRA funds to precious metals. I feel good about the conversion even though I will not physically be able to touch and hold my precious metals.
I have received pertinent information about Goldco from Stew Peters and Shari Raye. These two people were quite informative concerning the importance of investing in gold and silver. Furthermore, my advisor, Justin was quite professional in his dealings with me. Kathy Satchell
Have you checked the actual value of your account now? There seems to be a pattern of selling new customers metals at 3 to 4 times their spot price. Value on your statement is shown in spot price which is SIGNIFICANTLY lower. Caveat emptor. Good luck!
Goldco was very informative and helpful. Transfer of IRA *** was seamless.
I procrastinated for some time about changing my *** to gold. When I finally made the decision to change I did my search and reviews. Goldco sounded like the best option. Now that I've made the switch I'm pleased with the results. The people at Goldco were easy to deal with and made the transition a pleasurable experience. I would recommend them to anyone sitting on the ropes.
You have probably paid 3 to 4 times the spot price for proofs when you probably believed you were buying at spot price. Sit down before you read your statements. Good luck finding someone there to resolve the issue. Best wishes.
I appreciate ***'s knowledge and especially patience while we came to understand the process. We are happy and satisfied to know that our hard-earned savings is now out of the volatile stock market and invested in history-proven silver and gold! Thank you very much!
Did you believe you were paying spot price? If so, you'll be angry when you receive your statement to find you paid 3 to 4 times more than spot price. PROOF PRICES are totally subjective and should never be used without informing the customer. For most of us, an ounce of silver is just an ounce of silver when melted down. Wife lost nearly half her investment even with rising spot prices. SOMEONE made some outrageous profits at the expense of their customers. Karma...
I was informed about a silver backed IRA by my wife's freind ,and sounded great
I was informed about a silver backed IRA by my wife's freind ,and sounded great. I was told I could roll my 401k to a silver IRA so I would have more access to it taken out money tax things ect ect. Everthing I was told was a lie they sold me coins at a %300 of spot price not telling me the price taking advantage of my ignorance. When I tried calling my broker he got aggressive with me also saying horrible things about my wife. When I tried reaching them though the company they never returned my calls ,the one time I got though I told the gentleman my concerns /problems he hung up on me . I lost over half of my 401k. I'm warning everone do not use this company use anyone else. They will rob you of your hard owned money
My wife invested $102K in gold and silver with Goldco. She was led to believe she was buying at spot price. She just received a new statement... It's only worth $57K now despite metals spot prices moving up nicely! So, I pulled up spot prices and after doing the math determined the value should be close to $74K based upon the number of ounces purchased on the account statement. So, where is the other $28K..? Other commentators reported Goldco selling to new customers at 3 to 4 times actual value (for proofs). NON-DISCLOSURE of this. Can't find a way to contact a company representative. Free silver..? Absolutely no record of receiving such. Too, I'm wondering if the actual metals even exist. WIFE IS CRYING. Mr. Attorney General..? SEC..? Hannity - really? You endorsed these guys? Will continue to try to find a way to contact an account executive. Really... Why would anyone invest in anything at 3 to 4 times its actual value..?
Your experience is like mine. I spent $50K on ~ $22K worth of silver coins. Sales rep David Taylor assured me that Goldco's markup was competitive. Also, I was explicit that I was interested in owning precious metals for their intrinsic (melt) value, and he still sold me "proofs" insisting that their beauty, quality, and rarity commanded a premium. Lies. These sales reps are "earning" insane, unconscionable commissions off your parents' and grandparents' life savings. You can read my review on this site, it's titled "Run the other way!"
Caveat emptor.
Sorry, Alan. We were swindled, too. Our initial investment has lost 44% of its value despite RISING metals spot prices! Hoping you'll find success with your state's Attorney General and the SEC. From the remarks I've read to date, the practice of selling the initial investment at 3 to 4 times its actual value is business as normal. Customers find out they've been had when they receive their account statements. Remarks regarding company contact and problem resolution are not encouraging.
Easy roll-in from my existing IRA. Good, quick service and great promo for additional silver!
I can't believe Goldco is getting away with ripping everyone off. Call the Commodities Futures Trading Commission and be a whistleblower and shut them down. Red rock Secured, Safeguard Metals, Metals.com and Fisher Capital were just shut down for ripping people off. Don't complain online. Take action and hire a lawyer.
Want to give a shout out to Lou for helping me through my purchase. Glad I finally made the decision to invest in metals and doing so through Goldco. Thank you
So excited to receive the call that my funds from my Mutual Funds transferred and i was able to cut my loss. The whole process was easy and Goldco was there every step of the way and able to answer my questions. Looking forward to my first statement and happy to be a Precious Metal Owner. Thank you !
Each representative I talked to was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The free silver was an additional plus. Transferring my 401k could not have been easier. I would highly recommend using Goldco.
GoldCo is the second gold/silver company I have used to do a 401K rollover to a traditional IRA
GoldCo is the second gold/silver company I have used to do a 401K rollover to a traditional IRA. The difference was obvious from the beginning. My assigned GoldCo Account Executive asked to see the first company's invoice for the other rollover. I had never received an invoice (rookie mistake). GoldCo explained all of the details of the gold/silver purchase, including the specific coin type, quantity, and unit price. The transaction did not occur until I gave my approval, and I also received an electronic invoice as well. This shows that GoldCo is completely honest and open and cares about their customers. They do not take advantage of you if you lack experience in buying gold/silver. GoldCo has earned my trust and will be handling all of my future gold/silver transactions.
I am happy that you had a good experience and were treated fairly. Perhaps if I had come to Goldco with other quotes in hand, I might have fared better.
My experience was night-and-day different than yours. I was charged TRIPLE THE SPOT price for silver, and assured by the sales rep that these "premium proofs" were worth every penny. (Spot was ~$26/oz that day, their invoice came to me 1oz coins at >$74/oz.) I called a couple other coin dealers for a sanity check, and they assured me that NO dealer would ever pay more than a little over spot for those coins. AND both dealers often have to break the painful news to novice investors that the premium coins they just bought are worth half (or less!) what they paid. Heartbreaking.
I was lucky. After I got my invoice from Goldco, I spent an anguished night doing frenzied research, and my fears were confirmed. (By "research" I don't mean doing a google search for "best gold dealers" -- this will just return a bunch of bogus, bought-and-paid-for testimonial "dealer review" websites -- I found this out the hard way.) Go instead to the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) member directory, and find some small, family-owned coin dealers. They abide by a strict code of ethics, and will shoot straight with you about "value." So why do I say I was lucky? I was able to contact my trustee and remove Goldco as an "authorized dealer" so they could not access my funds to complete the transaction. Dodged a major bullet. I am only typing this to help others do the same.
I had an amazing experience purchasing my precious metals through an IRA rollover with Goldco. Frank Perla the agent helping me was consise in explaining my several options and made sure to answer any and all questions I had. In addition I received a percentage of free silver for my investment which made it all that more enjoyable. I feel relieved to now have my retirement savings in a secure investment which made more sense than the risky stock market! Thanks Goldco!
i checked numerous IRA providers of precious metals and it was the best option to go with Goldco. They also went above and beyond with some free silver. Things could not have transformed more easily and securely. Truly Goldco is PRO all the way.
Transfer IRA to Gold is the best investment. Friendly, helpful, makes it very easy to understand.
My Info was recently used in an email/phone scam
My Info was recently used in an email/phone scam. In the matter of two hours, I was flooded with nearly 1000 website submissions in an attempt to panic me into clicking a link tied to just one of the emails that looked legitimate. There was also a phonecall tied to that, but I did not answer and contacted the company involved directly. Anyway, Goldco was one of submissions in that flood of misdirection. I have almost finished removing my info from all of the websites except Goldco's. Their only way to request the deleting of your information is an online form. At the top of the form, its states that you declare, under penalty of perjury, that you are a resident of CA. It then asks you if you are but only gives you a yes option. I am not a CA resident, but my info was given to them and I want them to stop calling me. The form can't be submitted to remove my data as that yes check box is required.

I had a detailed conversation with John Vadset, of Goldco today that truly thrilled me
I had a detailed conversation with John Vadset, of Goldco today that truly thrilled me. John is very knowledgeable about the precious metals investment arena; and has a 30 plus year background and history in Investing. Besides being a fantastic listener; what really stood out to me was the way in which John spoke to me as a real person; and not as a means to an end or a commission. We discussed the opportunity and possibilities of what investing in precious metals could mean for my future, as I am within 7 years of retirement (hopefully). I felt as if he wanted me to protect my retirement income, and actually be better off as I enter Retirement. It was so refreshing to actually feel like I was being treated with ultimate care and respect. I hope you have the good fortune to speak with John Vadset with any questions about what Goldco is all about, and how John can help you protect your investments and achieve you retirement goals.
Arthur *** the Senior Account Executive, who helped me and my wife with the transfer of our IRA precious metal accounts from Birch Gold to
Arthur *** the Senior Account Executive, who helped me and my wife with the transfer of our IRA precious metal accounts from Birch Gold to Goldco and also helped me with the transfer of a portion of my IRA cash account with Fidelity to my IRA precious metal account, was promptly responsive to all my inquiries. This was not the case with the Birch Gold executive who helped us open our original precious metal IRA accounts.
In addition, Arthur, provided me with the latest gold and silver market value increases, and clearly explained to me the difference between gold and silver investments as well as the difference between bullion bars/coins and investment grade coins, as to the advantages and disadvantages of owning both. As a result, Arthur also helped me select the additional investment precious metal coins to add to my existing portfolio.
I am much more confident about my current precious metal investment after my conversation with Arthur.
After looking at a number of gold and silver companies, I settled on GoldCo because Josh, the person I dealt with, didn't trying to sell me
After looking at a number of gold and silver companies, I settled on GoldCo because Josh, the person I dealt with, didn't trying to sell me. He simply provided the information I was looking for in an objective way, answered the questions I asked him, and unlike representatives from other companies, didn't continuously pester me with phone calls at every odd hour of the day or night or creep me out with the oily friendliness I received from too many representatives of other companies. Josh's associate Simone was equally professional as well as authentically personable. The information I've collected about GoldCo has me reassured that I worked with a reputable company that radiates integrity. The rollover of my TIAA into a gold & silver IRA went smoothly and without a hitch on GoldCo's side. I have no reservations in recommending GoldCo to anybody interested in investing in gold and/or silver or who, like me, wants to rollover their paper retirement funds into a gold & silver IRA.
Outstanding company with outstanding customer service!
Outstanding company with outstanding customer service! They really do care about their customers and take their business seriously. They are very knowledgeable and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy with, and fully understand your investment(s). [An honorable mention to customer service manager at this location, initials R.S., for his patience, knowledge, and dedication.] If there is ever a problem, they work hard and fast to resolve the issue. As anyone readingvthis can see, wheneverva poor review is posted, they respond with sincere offers to help. Look at many other businesses and you will find most ignore any reviews they get, let alone bother to respond. Many other companies handle investments and retirement investing with a design of making themselves rich at your expense. Goldco has all their fees up front, they are transparent, and they are not out to line their pockets with dishonest practices, like so many others do. (I have experienced victimhood of such companies). Goldco is outstanding and I feel very comfortable with them handling precious metals investments. You should be also! My only regret is that I can only give 5 stars for a review. They deserve more!
My experience with Goldco so far
My experience with Goldco so far...well, they were very helpful at having my money transferred from my existing IRA to the GOLDCO IRA within a very small timeframe. That is the good part. Next I just had the phone call for which precious metals my money was to purchase. I felt the experience was very rushed overall. I was read very quick information scripts. If I had questions during this script reading, I was told to save them until the end of the script reading. In the end, I ended up paying twice the amount for the bullion I am purchasing, mainly because of the difference between private vs premium bullion, of which I had no idea as this is my first precious metals IRA. If I took the time to ask questions, I feel the salesman got frustrated with me. Five minutes after this initial sales call, I received a confirmation call from a salesperson who sounded like he'd rather be doing anything else other than talking to me. Once again, I was told to hold my questions until after his script reading. I did. I asked him one question after the script reading, to which I received a one-word answer. I hope the normal customer service representatives are more friendly than the salespeople, that's all I can say.
"Premium" bullion for twice the cost of "regular" bullion. That is precisely what a con artist would say. Thank you for sharing your story, people need to know what Goldco is about. Keep speaking up.
Super great experience
Super great experience. I see the American dollar losing value and status and am concerned that our current Government is making things worse. I am about ready to retire and I really need to diversify my IRA and pension - so started looking at purchase of metals. Saw ads for Goldco and actually took time to investigate them online. I certainly did not want to be scammed. Everything I read seemed positive so I made the decision to try them out with a small portion of my IRA. Not only did they provide additional literature, they also verbally talked me through WHY I should be considering diversification and actually made the process painless. In two short phone calls, they had everything they needed to start the process and stayed with me as we called my current custodian to initiate the funds transfer. All in all, I was able to move funds and purchase metals in 3 short weeks. Thanks, Goldco - I have peace of mind knowing that my retirement is more than paper money or investments that might lose value over the next few months. I actually am considering additional money transfers in the near future. They made the process easy. Thanks, Tony Pino, and your team, for the time you spent with me during the process.
After researching all available companies, my choice was Gold Co
After researching all available companies, my choice was Gold Co., this turned out to be the right decision. My account executive was a terrific man named Tony Pino, he turned out to be exactly what i needed, he provided me with all the materials I would need to make an informed decision regarding my Precious Metals IRA. Tony is an absolute expert regarding precious metals and the advantages and choices I had for my acct. he took the time to answer any and all questions, he was like talking with an old friend, very personable, no pressure Tony met all of my expectations. I made a small purchase from Goldco to test the company prices and service with the intention of rolling over one of my larger IRAs
I made a small purchase from Goldco to test the company prices and service with the intention of rolling over one of my larger IRAs... if I found the transaction to be positive. Goldco would not quote me silver prices until I wired funds, they purposely make it hard to do pricing research due diligence. I also found it disturbing that after the purchase they entice their buyers to leave a review with The ComplaintsBoard.com by offering a free home safe. This makes me immediately discount the Goldco 5-star reviews found on The ComplaintsBoard.com. During research I found that the price for acquiring fine investment-grade silver bullion products is due to the costs associated with mining, refining, manufacturing, minting, silver bullion product form, silver mint hallmark, marketing, hedging, and warehousing the silver bullion products... but even with all of that the prices should not be, in my opinion, twice the current spot price of silver. This investment is long term and I know the risks involved, but the spot price of silver will need to more than double before I could sell this silver investment for a profit. In retrospect, it was a mistake to place an order with Goldco because their high premium on investment-grade silver bullion. I found Goldco prices to be highly inflated compared to the spot price of silver and the "bid/ask spread". Needless to say, Goldco will not be receiving my IRA.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. I am convinced there are fake reviews on here to entice people into using their business. I sent through a request for information that was advertised on 10/13 and immediately received a call where I was hounded for information instead. I stated that I wanted the free documents to review and they finally emailed them but insisted on calling me everyday since then. I have the phone records to prove it and am considering legal action for their predatory actions. Why? Because I've replied to them all the ways they contacted me to tell them I want them to stop and am not interested. I have texted them back, emailed them back and just got off of an unsuccessful 52 second call with where I told the rep flat out I wanted them to remove my information and stop contacting me. He was more interested in controlling the call and forcing me to provide information they clearly already have and use in the first place. They rank last as a company I would ever do business with and for anyone reading this, know this...if you don't hold it, you don't own it. Anything otherwise is why there's a problem today and you risk losing your investments. To goldco...you already received your cease and desist on contacting me and you don't need me to continue and "verify" my information prior to doing so, just review the text, email and phone records asking you to STOP and do so!

The company in question was very dishonest
The company in question was very dishonest. I spoke to a representative who charged me a significantly higher price for both gold and silver. At the time, gold was purchased at $3,280 per ounce when its actual value was around $1,800 per ounce, resulting in a markup of over 80% above the market price. Similarly, silver was purchased at $62.50 per ounce when its spot price was around $19 per ounce, which is approximately 325% above the market price. Unfortunately, I have invested over $100,000 in this. Realizing this, I decided to cancel the order promptly. However, I discovered that they intended to deduct at least 21% of my investment. According to their rules, if you cash out within the first two years, they deduct 21%, and 7% for subsequent years. This information was never disclosed or mentioned to me. When I confronted my representative about these undisclosed numbers, he refused to communicate with me in writing, avoiding any written evidence of his deception. I was never given the option to select 'Premium Bullion' coins for purchase, and my only choice was for the representative to make the selection. If you visit their website, you will notice that the prices for coins are not listed. The 'Premium Bullion' they encourage customers to buy is not available anywhere else. I find this to be unethical. The gold they sell is known to be exclusively sold to their own clients, and I am unsure of their intentions. It appears that only the company is willing to buy back the gold they sold to me. With parts of this investment being marked up by approximately 325% without any prior verbal disclosure, I am now facing financial instability because of the company's practices. The silver they sell is also exclusively bought and sold by the same company, with no other apparent options. It is highly suspicious that despite having a $100,000 investment, I have not been offered a login account. All communication has been through phone or email, and when confronted, they refused to communicate via text. The presence of 5-star reviews seems to be solely due to the offer of a free safe for providing feedback. Additionally, setting up a Precious Metals IRA with the company involves partnering with a custodian that has a significant number of complaints and negative reviews.
On June 4, 2021, a check for an undisclosed amount and on September 30, 2021, a second check for another undisclosed amount were sent to COMMUNITY NATIONAL BANK CUST., as directed by GOLD CO. This money represented a 'self-directed IRA.' It was sent through GOLD CO with the understanding that it would be converted to precious metals. After the money was sent, I was informed that they had no gold and that the money in my account would be converted to silver. A recent look at my CNB custody account indicates that the cash value of the account is not currently disclosed (as of 5/4/22). On Dec. 1, 2021, my account had a different valuation. Note that I have never taken any money out of this account. Thus it would appear that I have experienced a significant loss. I have talked with GOLD CO. and was not given any reasonable explanation—by the way, silver has actually increased in value a bit since the deposit.
I purchased metals from GoldCo last July and my checks were interpreted as insufficient funds which they weren't. My accounts were escheated and closed by state because I went to prison for ten years but I am still able to spend out of them. Anyways, they issued a citation and I was arrested but released and they were ordered to pay me back the money from the checks of mine they cashed or send me my coins so I am going to courthouse today to file small claims about this slander etc.
Goldco Red Flags... 1. High markup of gold and silver. Gold purchased at 84% over spot and silver 157% over spot... 2. I wanted to cancel the order within the first two weeks but they were going to deduct 21% of funds. So, if you cash out in the first two years, they deduct 21% and 7% for the years after that. Not told about this up front... 3. Not given the option to select "Premium Bullion" coins to purchase, they select them for you... 4. Price for coins not listed on their website... 5. Encouraged to buy "Premium Bullion" that no one else sells. The gold they sold me was minted in New Zealand and sold only to Goldco. It's called Gold Independence Hall ¼ oz., very unusual because it has the US Independence Hall on one side and Elizabeth II on the flip. If Goldco wouldn't buy it back I don't know who would. At 84% over spot, I would lose a lot of money. The silver they wanted to sell me was minted by the Perth Mint specifically for Goldco. It's called Silver Great Barrier Reef 2 oz. Again no one else sells this coin... 6. No Login account offered. Everything is by phone or email... 7. After you purchase the coins, they send you an email for a free safe if you leave feedback on BBB and Consumer Affairs. Probably the reason for all the 5-star reviews... 8. For setting up the Precious Metals IRA they partner with a Trust Company that has lots of complaints and poor reviews.
05/25 My experience involves complete deception
05/25 My experience involves complete deception. I was advised to invest in Silver from Goldco in October at $17 per ounce. I was told I can expect to see an increase in the price of Silver in the coming years. On this advice I made my investment and the coins that they purchased in my account have absolutely no intrinsic value at all meaning they should cost approx. $17. To my surprise I was charged $50 per coin. Goldco committed fraud and stole my $$

I agreed to purchase precious medals from Gold co. They have promised me they would always buy my coins back if I needed to with a profit. I have tried calling, e-mailing and talking to them, and they have not provided a response and keep ignoring my request. To find out now that my coins do not have any sort of intrinsic value, and I been over charged for my precious medals. They have completely taken advantage of me and my wife. I would like a full refund on my account and my wives account. I need to sell my precious medal now.

invested in Silver and the business committed to have my value increase in my account however coins they sold me do not have an intrinsic value according to multiple websites. I would like a complete refund of my total investment. I have tried contacting Goldco on several occasions with no response and they also tried misleading me into taking a distribution. I am a senior citizen and have been completely taken advantage of. My next step is to contact the Attorney General if I do not get my refund.

I called these folks last week on 6/17 and was told by a Southern African guy (they say his name was ***) that he would FedEx me the material and the free silver coin (see below) and I should get it within 2 days. I called today because I never received anything, and "***" hung-up on me several times. When I finally got another rep, they claimed no managers were available in the entire corporate office that I could speak with and that *** was gone. (Later, he admitted everyone was working at home.) The rep also said the offer ended, no more coins were available, and there was nothing that could be done. Despite the rep saying the offer had ended, it still shows up ***. I can only be reached by email, private carrier, or US Mail. I cannot be reached by phone.

I invested in this company, and now they do not want the returned merchandise and give me back my investment money
I invested in this company, and now they do not want the returned merchandise and give me back my investment money. On June 9th, I went into agreement with Goldco to purchase some silver coins valued at $***. They completed the funds transfer by phone. I received a letter dated June 23 stating the funds transfer was complete. I also received an invoice for my purchase showing it paid in full and the amount On Tuesday September 15 I spoke with the representative I had been dealings with, ***, and told him that I have encountered some unforeseen circumstances, and I would like to withdraw on my investments. He assured me that's no problem. He will have to get the right papers to send to me and I should call back on Friday. via email because I have to make the request in writing. On Friday, September 18, I again called ***, and he said to me that he will get ( I forgot the lady's) name to send me the papers via email, because I have to make the request in writing. This is when I became suspicious because I could usually leave a message and he will callback, but this time I couldn't leave a message. However, I called the main number XXX-XXX-XXXX. A lady answered and asked for my name and number. She said that she would forward him the message He returned my call in about 5 mins. This is when I spoke with him on Friday. This is the weekend and businesses are closed. I tried logging in to my IRA account from where I had the money transferred and also from another retirement account and was unable to access either of them, so I don't know if I am dealing with identity theft here also. I have already reported it to Fraud bureau of Investigations. As I said before today is Saturday, thereforeI'll have to wait until Monday before I can speak with someone concerning everything. My bank accounts do not seem to be tampered with, but again I have to wait until Monday before I can do anything

I bought my gold and silver from Goldco on February 10th and I invested $94,948.42. I am a physician and was looking at other options with colleagues of mine. I've tried calling Goldco several times to discuss the sale of my precious metals. They have not responded back to me or the operator team has given me very little information to do anything with. I then got in touch with Equity who is my custodian and they informed me the value of my account is $35,922.62. My account value has gone down 1/3 from when I first purchased. I called numerous other companies from online to sell and they told me that's all these coins are worth. At this point I am disgusted and want my money back as I was lied to. This is a deceptive practice and they have taken advantage of a senior citizen.
I have invested $126,215 into Goldco without being informed about the 21% commission by my representative, nor about the significant markup of approximately 325% on silver and over 80% on gold. Included are images showing the quantities of each item I purchased. I transferred $101,215 from my retirement account in a single transaction with an order confirmation dated 11/10/2022, and I made an additional investment of $25,000 with an order confirmation dated 11/14/2022. The Goldco Representative heavily weighted my portfolio with silver at a substantial markup. I was not presented with alternatives and was under the impression that I would be purchasing premium coins. Instead, Goldco sold me lesser-known coins, such as 10 units of Gold Phoenix 1/4 oz at $825 each and another 37 units at $820 each, despite their actual value being around $450 each. Furthermore, I was sold 264 units of Silver Mayflower at $63.30 each, which are valued at approximately $19 each, and an undisclosed number of Silver Independence Hall 1 oz coins, a type I am unfamiliar with, at $62.50 each, though their value is also about $19 each. It's no surprise that the prices for your coins are not publicly listed on your website. I am questioning the value of these unsolicited coins I've been sold. Moreover, I am concerned about the resale market for these coins, as I am unsure who would purchase them if not for Goldco. When I attempted to address these issues with my representative, he refrained from documenting any miscommunication, yet verbally acknowledged some responsibility for not disclosing the full details before advising me to read the contract, regardless of whether he had explained the sales terms or not. This situation raises serious concerns, and I suspect the only reason for the 5-star reviews is the offer of a complimentary safe. I consider myself an ethical individual seeking a fair resolution, but I am beginning to doubt the integrity of this company. It appears I may be the victim of a scam.
was extremely deceitful. I spoke to a dealer who charged me a high markup on both gold and silver. Gold was purchased at $3,280 per ounce at the time when it was worth around $1,800 per ounce, that's a markup of more than 80% over the spot price, and silver was purchased at $62.50 per ounce when its spot price was around $19, which is around 325% over spot. I have over $100,000 invested, unfortunately. I decided it would be smart to cancel the order promptly. Then I found out they were looking to deduct at least 21% of the investment. The rules are as follows: if you cash out in the first two years, they deduct 21% and 7% for the years after that. This was never discussed and not mentioned once. When I confronted my representative about the numbers I was never told about, he refused to write anything to me over text, attempting to not put it in writing that he had gotten one over on me. The option to select 'Premium Bullion' coins to purchase was never granted to me, and my only option was for the dealer to select the type. If you browse the website, it is noticeable that the price for coins is not listed. The 'Premium Bullion' that is encouraged to be bought is something no one else sells. I think this is unethical. The gold being sold is known to be only sold to a specific group, and I don't know what the scheme is. It seems nobody except this particular group will buy back the gold being sold to me. With parts of this investment being upcharged around 325% without having been told verbally before purchase, I will undergo financial instability because of this dealer. The silver being sold is also exclusively bought and sold by the same group, no one else seemingly. It's super sketchy that I have a $100,000 investment but no login account has been offered to me. Everything is by phone or email, once confronted there was refusal to text. The free safe for feedback deal is the only reason for the 5-star reviews. Setting up the Precious Metals IRA, the dealer partners with a firm with quite a lot of complaints and poor reviews.
