they lie cheat and steal
I recently purchased e-lites (electronic cigarettes) on Groupon, when I was checking out I made a mistake with my Visa password probably because I use PayPal so much I got mixed up with my password. Anyway as I had used the voucher and my purchase hadn’t been accepted my Voucher was deemed used. I got in touch with them and explained but no reply, I would advise anyone to be very careful when redeeming the voucher or else just stay away from them. Terrible way to treat a customer.. I won’t be going back.
Groupon’s makes there sales staff lie to potential clients to get your confidence and business then screws you. I signed on thinking we would sell 100 deals the sales person let it go to 204 deals which is killing my business . When contacted all you get is well the contract didnt say there was a cap. Verbally they do everything. They lie cheat and steal. All governments should bam them and shut them down. Us and Europe. I am hoping to get a class action lawsuit against Groupons they need to be stopped!
groupon does not honor their own rules
Groupon does not honor their own rules. I had an expired groupon, which, they say can be used towards another Groupon, wrong, they say you can only use the groupon at the place where the expired groupon is for. What if I bought a groupon to use out of town and am not going back, waste of money...Buyer beware!
Thank you very much Kelley. Not everyone works in a Tavern.
They never say anywhere that an expired groupon can be applied to another deal:
http://www.groupon.com/terms#terms-of-sale
The terms state that the price you paid for the voucher will be honoured by the retailer, even after the deal itself has expired.
So if you bought (as an example) $50 worth of merchandise at Sears for $20 through groupon, the $50 worth of merchandise deal will expire, but Sears will still honour the groupon at $20 after the deal has ended.
If you bought a groupon to use out of town and are not going back, you should read the expiry date and Terms of Sale more carefully going forward.
won't give a refund
I purchased a voucher on Tuesday 16th August, code number 62/2902. I phoned to make an appointment and was told that because it was through a GROUPON they coulnt give me an appointment till the last week of september. Is this a joke? So because I bought adeal from yourselves I am not worhty of an appointment for over a month? I am extremely furious about this, I expect full refund immediately. If I have no response from this, or even acknowledgement I will take this further.
This has well and truly shocked me and I really should have listened to friends and colleagues when they tod me never to buy from you guys as there is always something wrong. I bought two groupons for $115 each on 10/29/10, and without going into specific details of the reasons for the refund, Groupon stated they processed my total refund on 11/3/11, and it would take up to 10 business days to process. It is now over a month later, and I STILL do not have my refund.
They are blaming my bank (since it was with my old debit card number), but my old number is still attached to my current account. There is no reason why my bank would hold my money, and I have been given the runaround from Groupon for the past month. If there is anyone out there with legal advice, I live in Ga. (if that matters), and I would like to know what I can do to get my refund promptly.
Does anyone know how to contact a supervisor in customer service? After I was unhappy with the response, I asked for their supervisor. I received a response that I could not speak to anyone else and they "considered this complaint closed" Irate is not even the word to describe my present state...
no delivery, and it is impossible to contact the company
This offer was shown at £29 for the duvet with £6.49 for delivery charges. When voucher used delivery charges taken. Delivery within two weeks. Some three and a half weeks later, no delivery, and it is impossible to contact the company – their voicemail box is full, they dont answer the phones, they dont answer emails. Group say they cannot refund to us as vouchers have been used. Who on earth is ever going to answer the query to anyones satisfaction.
Another complaint: My voucher number #1163012 ”Voucher 56/7792 security c…” The voucher was purchased in May with the view of a breast reduction, On your GROUPON voucher deal you advertised brest reduction £5700 Groupon need to get the fact correct before you let them falsely advertise on your site GROUPON having reviewed my options with the consultants the total cost of surgery would be £7700 . This is not an increase in price that I cant afford but a change in the level of surgery that is required Its a major operation 2 hours 45 min with a 6 week post operation recover period.
In dealing with Groupon so far it seems your making it difficult for me to refund my voucher and I am not only having to answer personal medical questions that are far beyond a conversation with a stranger to justify my refund, but also being put under additional stress as the voucher expires at the end of November. I also know of others who much after the period of seven days did get a full refund did so over the phone with their voucher number.
I was relying on using this money for my children’s Xmas presents all I require is a refund of the voucher of a unsuitable treatment as you have stipulated you would on your fine print.
unable to redeem my groupon voucher
I bought a Groupon voucher for a NanoLite MP3 player. I was unable to redeem my voucher. When I contacted Groupon, they advised me I’d be able to redeem my voucher after 1st December – guess what? I still can’t redeem my voucher and I’m getting no response from Groupon now. Has anyone else had this problem?
This is my second complaint to Groupon and had no reply, I received my 3 Groupon vouchers 24/11/11 for an offer for swarovski studs from Vanamsteldiamond I have sent 4 emails and having no luck with help to order these as on line not excepting my voucher codes, not only my but 3 other people have tryed this, I have spend alot of money with Groupon and don’t think after this experience will order anything else, I would like a full refund, as having no help with this.
I have purchased house cleaning service on your web, from the company ‘Clean Co Homes ‘ on 08 September 2011. Voucer code 1/1023, secure code 3ae0186803. I was unsecsesfull to get my carpet cleaned, as the company never replies to my phone calls. Last week I submitted the claim against the company, the same day the cleaner have contacted me and arranged to clean the carpets today on 17 Ocotber 2011 at 11.00. I took a day off from work, but cleaner did not turn up, even did not contacted me and did not answer my phone calls.
I require refund in full, as I really disappointed that groupon have such offers from dishonest businesses. I lost one day pay, which cost me £70. Please issue me refund in full, as I am no longer interested in such ‘great’ saving! Many thanks in advance for your quick response.
vouchers have a risk of being non redeemable
Groupon Deals and Refunds – November 2011 I have been trying for the last couple of weeks to contact someone at Groupon or the vendor Kensington Aesthetic clinic regarding my dissatisfaction with a Groupon deal. The only appointments are on a Monday or Thursday and due to work commitments, I cannot make either of these days especially 3 times in 2 weeks to fulfill the voucher. I am disappointed that Groupon customer services and Kensington Aesthetic Clinic have ignored my emails to discuss this matter and advise me. Groupon in the US replied to me, but they cannot deal with the complaint. This is therefore my last attempt at trying to resolve this situation directly.
All I asked was for someone from Groupon or Kensington to contact me directly to discuss this issue urgently–Instead I have been completely ignored Having paid out over £100 of my hard earned money I am very upset. Valid from purchase date to February 2012. I tried to contact the venue repeatedly with many emails – with no reply. I called and left a message, no reply.
They haven’t even had the decency to contact me directly. I am sorry but this is totally unacceptable! If they offer reduced options for visiting the salon it should have said so at the time, they should honour all vouchers and extend the booking dates. I have contacted them well in advance of the voucher expiring.
This voucher was purchased in good faith. I contacted the venue well within the time frame given. Groupon and the venue should have had some communicated regarding how many deals could be sold to ensure so that the venue can cope with the number of deals purchased. The company advertises these deals as possible gifts – this it is not acceptable if the vouchers have a risk of being non redeemable. I am now faced with the situation of having to replace the deal for the person the gift was given to at an expense of nearly £300!
i've had extremely bad experiences with groupon goods
I've had extremely bad experiences with Groupon Goods.
I bought two Slap watches for my granddaughters; it took probably 6 weeks to get them. In addition, the company kept saying that they sent out the orders but would re-send. Supposedly they sent out 4 orders (!) before we finally "got" the fifth! Sent with no delivery confirmation, so no way to track.
Then I purchased 3 sets of Bamboo towels. Received them quickly, but the quality was awful. I called to get the return address; it took Groupon almost 6 WEEKS to get the address. Returned them to the company; it's now been 2 1/2 weeks and the company still hasn't acknowledged the return to Groupon. Fortunately, I do have the tracking number and it shows the date and the person that signed for the return.
I have given up trying to deal with Groupon and filed a claim with my credit card company.
customer service is rude and gives you the run around
90% of the time I have a problem with redeeming, getting reimbursed for an unused "now deal" (which clearing states in the terms that they do), or the merchant tries to charge me "additional" fees when I go to use it. Totally not worth the headache. Customer service is rude and gives you the run around. They make everything seem so easy on the website but if you have a problem, be prepared to be treated like you're the bad guy or trying to pull a fast one on them. Buy a groupon if you have a lot of time to waste or you're a glutten for punishment.
they have a 7 day return policy that is hidden in their website and they will not refund your money
Groupon is a total rip-off. A person can get just as good of deals from their local newspaper or google. They have a 7 day return policy that is hidden in their website and they will not refund your money. I initially thought it was a good buy until I started to compare what their selling price to other sites and local ads. DO YOUR RESEARCH, DON'T GET CAUGHT UP INTO GROUPONS HIPE!
bad service
Bought mY giftshopsdirect.com canvas thru Groupon singapore. It comes with free delivery but I have yet to receive my canvas bought since dec2011. There is no customer service. Zero communication. Groupon is useless, regretted buying through them. Think this whole thing is a scam.
For all who has the same problem, this is their contact details. Hope u get your canvas soon .
CATALOGUE SINGAPORE - Collection Outlet
162 Bukit Merah Central Unit #02-3537, Singapore 150162 *Above UOB BANK
Tel: [protected]:30PM to 7PM, TUESDAYS to SUNDAYS)
Groupon manager James said that giftshopsdirect will re send the canvas two weeks ago. So far there has been no news, despite numerous emails to them. Furthermore, giftshopsdirect has the cheek to say they will chanrge us $2.50 a day if I don't collect it.
So last week, to end all the anxiety, I collected from the office in bukit merah. The whole place is filled with canvas, almost like 300 over pieces. It made me doubt that they even send the first time. The place is not even a warehouse, it's the office of giftshopsdirect . These people were trying to get away from delivering the goods, which was clearly stated in the Groupon "free delivery". All in all a bad experience. I have since unsubscribed to Groupon . The manager promise to do this and that, but really it's all talk and no action.
Still haven't got my stuff...anybody reading this, if u see giftshopsdirect.com or the above Bt Merah address, please advoid at all cost. Service lousy (they don't take your call or even reply your email), goods gets lost / undelivered (not sure if they even produced it)...haiz!
hi i've waited for 2 months for my order to be delivered and there is no news. i wrote in to 3 email addresses that i can find and the email came back (i think auto reply) saying "Please note that we will not be replying to your inquiries via email or phone"...then how do i find out the status of my order? I've yet to call up Groupon service...easymac, was there any feedback from them? so is this a scam? what address in Bt Merah can we pick up the products from? We went into their website http://giftshopsdirect.com and under Contact us, there is an address (at IP)...even that is a scam, the office is not there!...sigh! please advise what is the next step...
Yes...I have the same issue with Giftshopsdirect.com which I bought via Groupon. Have passed the matter to Groupon. Let's see what solution Groupon offer.
I have no choice but go the route of the &credit card& dispute method now
When groupon first started, their service was top notch. However... That cannot be said now. I ordered a blood pressure cuff (Which, come to find out, I could have purchased at wal-mart for $3 more) 19 days ago (or as they put it "12 business days" ago) and customer service has no clue when it will be shipped and won't even address a refund request sent 3 times now. The groupon "terms and conditions" clearly stated that the product would ship in 7-10 business days, and in as much they have violated their own policy. I again tried this morning to at least get a status update and I received a reply back "to contact them again at the end of the week if my product hasn't shipped". Really? 19 days since the order and that's all you can come back with groupon? I smell something fishy going on at this company. So do the investors at wall street - many printed stories in recent weeks as to their "accounting methods". One would be well advisedd to stay away from this sinking ship! I have no choice but go the route of the "credit card" dispute method now.
fraud
I used groupon for the first time last week. I bought a CVS gift card for 10 dollars and the card is worth 20 dollars. Pretty good deal, huh?
So I waited a few days after the purchase and groupon sent me an email telling me how to activate the new card. The activation failed. Then, without a call from me, they sent me another email. This email gave me new activation information. That password also failed to activate the card.
I called groupon customer service and could not get through. I finally called CVS and they transferred me to another number at Groupon. The customer service person I spoke with did not know anything about the situation. He gave me a third code that was NOTHING like the first two in configuration. It didn’t work.
I finally got into a fight with this guy and asked him to refund my money. The conversation became explosive and he told me that I was inappropriate. He would not give me a number to call back to reach them and he would not let me speak to the supervisor. He finally hung up on me.
I started looking online and found a lot of negative reviews. This is what I should have done before I attempted to do business with them. Now I have to worry about this fraudulent company having my credit card information.
My advice…Don’t use groupon. So far I have lost 10 dollars and more than 2 hours of my time. SCAM!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Groupon charged my client $199 for a service that was never provided and they refuse to give even a credit. That is stealing. I am writing the DA and the Attorney General and every TV station and after that I will sue them as I am a lawyer 35 years and this is stealing in your face.
no money back refund from groupon
Having had problems regarding the service of Groupon we found your website regarding the groupon company. Unfortunatley we have experienced the same problems like others people and had we seen this before making our purchase we would have thought twice before making our purchase. On the 13th August 2011 we purchased 2 groupon vouchers for Teeth Whitening from Pearl National at 69 pounds each (totally cost us 138 pounds). As my partner and I had booked to have a photoshoot for our wedding the month after we thought this was a great purchase to get our smiles right.
Unfortunatley come the day of our appointment I recieved a Text message from Pearl National to reschedule our appoinment due to stock shortages. We rescheduled for the following week even tho it was after our photoshoot as we had paid for the service but unfortunaley our smiles were wiped from our faces again on the day of this new appointment we again got a similar text message about stock shortages. I rang Pearl National to request a refund and the sent me an email confirming that they would authorise this with Groupon.
Having made several phone calls to Groupon and listened to the same onhold music for what seemed like too long i decided to email Groupon. The first email was sent on 22nd of Sep 2011, then our first email recieved a response from Groupon on 23rd of Sep requesting the Email confirmation of cancellation from Pearl National Which we have forwarded to them. After that I replied to Groupon with all information they need for refunding my money on 25th of Sep 2011. Since that I never get reply from them.
Therefore I emailed them another 2 emails which on 26th and 29th of Sep 2011, but till today 3rd of Oct 2011 that I still have no replys from Groupon about refund. Please help us that we dont know what else we can do to get our money back from Groupon and contacting them is very difficult to do.
groupon voucher didn't work for deal
Bought Groupon voucher for 8 O spa collagen face masks. Applied online in July to redeem them. Had to fill in complete membership form in order to get goods I had orderered (this wasn’t advertised as part of the deal). In addition I was offered eye masks which I also purchased. One month later, nothing, except virtually daily advertisements for ‘O spa’ specials but no vouchers. My daughter eventually contacted them and she too was coerced into completing the ‘O Spa’ membership form online.
Called them, nothing….. wrote to them…. nothing. Except now both myself and my daughter are indundated with ads from O Spa but still no goods that had been paid for three months ago. Got in touch with Groupon who also contacted them and was told ‘out of stock but will be supplying etc’. I told Groupon that I felt it was a scam merely to get email addresses and that I felt I would not get the goods and now I have received a notifiction and as I anticipated, the deal is closed and I will get my money back.
In the meantime, I am being bombarded with tons of other email rubish that has obviously come from the ‘O Spa’ salon selling on the list of email addresses. Groupon should insist that these emails are confidential and not for distributing to all and sundry. This is, I feel, a scam and whilst not perpetrated by Groupon, it is a slur on their product and I feel they should insist on the vouchers being honoured as the products were availabe when paid for also for the privacy of their clients to be honoured. Not impressed with this at all.
they did not answer their phone all day
I cannot place ALL the blame for Groupon because of this but I will see how much more I will go into my frustration if they don't provide my refund. I bought my first Groupon today and it was for "A&W Massage". I tried to call and schedule an appointment. They did not answer their phone ALL DAY! When they did it was 2pm. It was supposed to close at 5pm but they told me they were closing early and basically... "oh well!" I'm pissed! Did you really forget your deal was posted for today! Who does that? They really missed out on a potential customer because of that.
awful customer service, no resolution to problems
Bought some Groupons recently and was surprised when I went to check out the business. The area was definitely NOT what was expected. I contacted Groupon customer support and was told that they spoke directly with the business, and that the business "guaranteed" that all was okay and as stated in the Groupons. When I called the business myself, I was told that they could not guarantee anything, because it all depends on availability when I book. So I emailed Groupon customer support agai, and was basically told to F#*! Off, you can choose to either use the Groupon or give them away. Awful customer service, no resolution to problems! Incredibly disappointed with overall experience.
don't give a groupon as a gift
Groupon is great for deals - for yourself. DO NOT GIVE A GROUPON AS A GIFT!
Giving Groupon as a gift (especailly for a "service" is like handing your money over to a used car dealer who will essentially not stand behind the value offered. The gift holder is left with a crappy experience which they can either keep to themselves if they are polite, but leaves a bad taste.
Here's the kicker - Groupon offers the persons giving the gift the option to record this in thier system. So groupon knows who the Groupon was gifted to, and how much the value was for - just keep that in mind as you read further.
So here's my story. I received the 'Groupon Gift' as a Christmas gift for a Deep Cleaning Maid Service. I was overjoyed to receive this - as I have a three year old, so my house is always in need of cleaning.
The week after Christmas I contacted the number on the Groupon to schedule my service, which the Groupon printout showed as Feb 29, 2012. I was told by the company that they were unable to schedule during the time, but would still honor it beyond that. So, I was game. I scheduled my appointment for March.
The day before the company was scheduled to perform the service, THEY called to cancel, and I was told they would call me to reschedule. Again, I was assured they would still honor the original Groupon.
A week went by, two weeks went by - and I called them. The number on the Groupon to contact had a voice mail that was full and was not able to receive messages.
So, I contacted Groupon Customer Service. I was first told by "Nate" that because it was given to me as a gift, there was nothing they could do, and there was no record of it. My only option was to go back to the person who purchased the original Groupon to contact them for a refund. Leaving me out in the cold.
I wasn't happy, so I asked to speak with a Supervisor. So, I got "Erica" who informed me that she did in fact have a record of the transaction and read it to me. Proving, they did not only have a record of the "gift" and that they knew how much it was for. I asked to have them contact the company that I only wanted the service I was originally "gifted".
"Erica" told me that it would take 2-3 days to research and she'd get back to me. Less than an hour later I received what is essentially a "Sorry for your luck" email - that my only recourse was to go back to the person who gave me the gift and ask them to call for a refund and then that person would have to re-gift something else to me.
Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture?
If you were to receive a gift from a department store that had not only the value of the product, but also the record of the gift a store would offer the person with the defective gift an exchange - which is essentially all I wanted.
Instead in this original theory they want me to go back to the person who gave me the gift and put them at an inconvenience and thus feel badly that thier gift was for all intense purposes - defective.
So I decided to try and go another route - I posted something on Groupon's Facebook page - and was basically told the same thing.
Here's where I really get annoyed. I have worked for many, many retail businesses - in which if there is a customer that is unhappy the first lesson in Customer Service skills is offer something of equivalent value.
Apparently the Senior Management at Groupon are more interested in banking on the fact that if you give a Groupon as a gift, they keep your money, and people will be too embarassed to report back to the person who gifted the Groupon, so they keep the money, running all the way to the bank as their stock prices increase.
Now, after this experience - I am FURIOUS that the company who is on record of the service isn't being punished for not honoring the Groupon service. I am also very annoyed that the darlings at Groupon haven't figured out this piece of their business that they promote daily.
I am writing letters to the Attorney General of AL for the Consumer Protection Agency, and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau yesterday.
But, I think before YOU decide that awesome deal at Groupon sounds like something you'd want to give your mom/sister/dad etc - Think about what will happen if this ends up being a really crappy gift.
Personally - I'm not willing to fork over my hard earned money to Groupon if this is the kind of business that isn't willing to stand behind the product they offer.
A couple of years ago one of my sister in laws gave me a copy of an unpaid Groupon for $75 off a room in Canada for my Christmas present. What a lame gift lol especially since she didn’t pay anything at all. I literally got a printout of a deal of the day lol which was never even purchased. Some people are so lame. I would have rather received a .29cents box of toothpicks lol.
how does my daughter redeem the groupons I gifted to her via email
We purchase Groupon vouchers cost RM 9250 and other service fee RM3000 paid to Travel Pavillion for our Beijing 5 days trip. But after we booked ticket the Travel Pavillion (From Groupan Agent) email us said the trip have been cancel. Hence we call Groupon, as groupon promise on their website, they will refund within fourteen days for trouble redeem voucher but now they reply said only can refund until Travel Pavillion give the green light & as we know Travel Pavillion cannot been contact any more.
I bought a coupon for a hairdressing (francesco picardi) to do a brazilian blow dry, the coupon I bought was not the service provided, which I believe Groupon needs to measure or have a quality control of who advertised through their website. At this point, I believe GROUPON company is steeling money in complicity with other companies to make money out of people like me.
I been trying to resolved this issued with Groupon but they argue that they are not responsible for any service provide and the hairdressing argue that I bought the voucher through Groupon and they have nothing to do.
I have been ripped off by Groupon . They sold me a days sailing on a huge white motorboat (they pictured the type seen in the south of France), when in fact Liverpool Watersports Centre do not own anything that remotely resembles this vessel. The lesson is in fact on a small black motorised dinghy. At £59 this was a terrible purchase for my husbands birthday and I wish I had bought him something else. Groupon have not replied to any e-mails and I have been mislead by their advertising. They must be committing some offence here, advertising standards, trade descriptions act etc. I am very offended that they do not have the courtesy to reply but very keen to sell you products and take immediate payment. SHOCKING!
I ordered a product that was supposed to be mailed to me latest 10 days and it still haven't arrived a month later. I've sent 3 emails to them about it and only got a response to the first one saying that they cant do anything until it ships from the company. finally when i called them only then would they refund the money back to me. i think it's ridiculous how i have to wait a whole month and call them myself to get the refund. the guy on the phone said that we weren't the only ones with this problem which means they knew about the problem but didn't contact any of their customers to notify them about a refund. they even gave me $5 extra credit online but that was sent to me a week before a i called which means they could have let me know what was going on with my product.
Groupon is another company that takes your money and could not care less if you get your product or in my case not, they will not help return phone calls when you do get to speak to someone they are rude and could not care less. They want you to deal with the company in my case is Car Audio Service to resolve but they do not reply to any contact whatsoever so back to Groupon who guess what asks me to contact Car Audio Services again. THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE STRESS.
Groupon sent me expired codes. After calling a first time with no resolve the gentleman told me I had to call fandago to get my code, this is after being on the phone with them for over 30 minutes. So I called they told me because I bought the item from groupon, the companied I purchased the item from, I would have to call groupon back. Which is what I tried to explain to the guy, from groupon, the first time. So I call groupon back, and what about another 25 minutes just to speak to someone. When I finally gets someone on the line and explain the situation to them, he hangs up on me. Then I call a third time and this new guy is more difficult to deal with, what dont these people understand I paid for a ticket and someone else used it before I purchased it. It wasnt my fault and this wasnt as complicated as groupon made it out to be. All I wanted to do is go out and use the item I purchase. I eventually got it, after alot of hassle, and alot of my time wasted. It so was not worth it. PS offering someone a $10 coupon for messing thier order is stupid because Im never going to use it, Im never going on thier site.
I bought this deal from Groupon: price: £29.00, amount: 1 x, savings: £67.85, total: £29.00 Date of purchase: Aug 23, 2011. Valid from Aug 24, 2011 to Dec 24, 2011. MOT and Car Clean for £29 at MK Group (£96.85 Value. We were told by Groupon that the deal was worth £96.85. However when we arrived there, We were told by this gentleman that the deal was only worth £50.00. We were very disappointed. As at 1st they didn’t clean our car from inside. When we got in the car, we noticed that it wasn’t even touched inside. However we asked at reception for the car to be cleaned inside. After a few minutes, they said its done.
We looked in the car and noticed that they only hoovered. Windows, windscreens and dash board was still dirty. We again asked at reception but the answer we got from reception was rather disappointing (the man said to us: windows, windscreens and dash board wasn’t part of the deal). We felt really embarassed and disappointed. We would like our money to be refunded. As we were very unhappy with service we received. We will not be using Groupon if this situation will not be sorted.
For the SECOND time I bought a Groupon but was refused rudely by the merchant when I tried to use it. When I contacted Groupon customer service, it took a long time to finally get someone on the phone and then I was told to allow them several days to confirm with the merchant that they are not honoring their Groupons. My complaint is tri- fold: #1 a growing number of merchants are not honoring groupons that are already purchased #2 Groupon is hard to get in contact with. They encourage e-mails to which they take their time responding and there is a very long wait on their customer service number and #3 it takes WAY TOO LONG for Groupon to process refunds. Why does it take Groupon days to confirm with the merchant rudely told me in 10 seconds? I'll never buy a Groupon again.
I will never buy anything from groupon again
I ordered on the 1st sept 2 sofa beds £358 in total as I made a mistake ordering 2? I tried from the 3rd sept to cancel one of them, after numerous emails to groupon they have robbed me off saying that the company that are supplying the sofas owe me the money refund well I got through to the company crazypricebeds and spoke to PERSON! And was told that the company did not have my order and that groupon owe me the whole £358 back as there aren’t any sofas left, groupon don’t answer emails nor do they answer their phone in London what do I do?
I’ve sent two emails to Groupon, 5/12/11 and 9/12/11 to request a full refund for the Blase nail course. Having contacted Blase direct it turns out there is no kit/goody bag, it turns out you have to supply all your own kit including false nails (their email stated the advert had been badly worded) I have been miss sold this experience I requested a full refund. Yes you guessed right, I’ve just been ignored, Blase were very unhelpful and don’t care that one of there customers have been badly let down, what does that say about the company as a whole? where do I go from here to get my refund, rip off Briton? Watchdog? Dominic Little?
I orderd 2 sofas from groupon costing £250 and awaitind delivery. The first delivery date came and they said they couldnt deliver them on that date so they arranged anotehr time. The second day came and went. When I got through to the sofa company it turns out that they are in dispute with Groupon so arent sending any sofas out now. I have emailed Groupon throughout this process including now where I am demanding a refund but have not heard anything back from them. Thing is we desperately need that money now and I am getting so worried about what will happen. I will never buy anything from Groupon again.

pls save yourself the headache - never buy a groupon
Do not buy anything via Groupon where you would NOT be happy with JUST your money back. If you are a Business HEED this WARNING or you could become a ZAZZLE.COM
At ZAZZLE, you can build things like CUSTOM Christmas ornaments by uploading photos, editing them, adding text, etc.
Zazzle gave GROUPON authorization codes to include in our GROUPONS. I paid $70 for $150 worth of ornaments... my family loves Christmas.
Zazzle gave GROUPON March 13, 2012 expiration dates. Some gnome at GROUPON entered the date as March 21, 2012. So we are there building our ornaments... spent hours and hours... only to find out we could NOT checkout because GROUPON put the wrong EXPIRATION date into the GROUPON COMPUTER.
GROUPON refunded by $70 and told me to go take a hike on the $80... leaving me still wanting my ornaments and $80 short because of a VERIFIABLE GROUPON ERROR.
This probably happens more than we know. Had I bought discount car washes, hadn't used them, and got a refund - that would have been fine.
ZAZZLE has had to deal with unhappy customers... and they did not get properly paid. GROUPON has ZERO understanding of customer service.
PLS save yourself the headache - never buy a GROUPON where you do WORK before you cash it in... it could cost you $80 on TOP of the $70 you paid - to recould your lost time.
they treat customers like criminals and their defaulting vendors like heroes
The credit card got charged smooth as silk - it was when I tried to redeem deals that I had problems. Had the following conversation with customer service MAM MAM MAM UNFORTUNATE NOTHING WE CAN DO MAM MAM MAM NOT OUR FAULT THE COMPANY DIDN'T SHOW UP MAM MAM MAM. Don't buy here it's just not worth the savings if you never get the services. They treat customers like criminals and their defaulting vendors like heroes!
