Groupon.com no one has delivered the seat

Good day

I would like to lodge a complaint against Groupon Gauteng. I placed and paid for an order: black and grey booster car seat on 27/07/2015. To date no one has contact me on the number provided to Groupon - [protected] and no one has delivered the seat to the Florida, Roodepoort address provided to them. I also gave the delivery company this number - [protected] - no contact made. I have been phoning the delivery company from Monday 24/08/2015 and delivery has been promised everyday - nothing delivered. I sent numerous emails - only a few responses initially from a Ridwa Manuel at Groupon and then nothing thereafter. I want my money refunded if they are not going to deliver and they should stop lying about making deliveries. My banking details are on the Groupon system.

Groupon.com charged for items never purchased

I recently discovered that I was being charged for two Groupon purchases for restaurants I never heard of. I did not make the purchases but it seems that the Groupon App did make them. When I tried to have them cancelled the Groupon rep told me I could use them as gifts but that my money could not be refunded because I did not cancel within the three days allotted by Groupon. Since I never made the purchases I was not aware of any need to cancel them. Groupon appears to lack good customer relations and good business values.

Groupon.com little or no charge

I purchased a couple orders of both the AA and AAA batteries from Groupon. I purchase them so I have back-ups when needed. Well, after a month I am to the realization that there was virtually little or no charge on the batteries when a new battery was needed. Groupon has a 14 day return policy which makes no sense at all. DO NOT BUY batteries from GROUPON. They are made in China and worthless as Pips on a Bull.

Groupon.com failed to deliver missing item from my online purchase

I bought a Samsonite Bag from Groupon Singapore. They only delivered 1 item but they kept on insisting they delivered 2 items. They told me to call Singpost, which is the courier. I did. Singpost advised that they only received 1 item of bag from the Groupon merchant.
I have been calling and emailing them but their customer service is the most unhelpful on earth.

Groupon.com They items were defective because of the package

I ordered some stuff for my iPhone from the website www.groupongoods.com. I received the order and everything was ok. But when I opened the package, I noticed that all things were damaged, because the package was in good condition. I thought that the seller would change the order, but he refused and told me in rude and very unprofessional way. They ruined my day and it was completely inappropriate.

Groupon.com poor product & customer service

Ordered a product and never got any shipping delivery confirmations and after a week (because the purchase info says it can take up to two weeks from stated delivery) I went to check on the items. Both stated that they were delivered a week earlier. Of course I never got the items. When I went through the process on the Groupon website to file a complaint I received an email response basically stating that it is not their problem and I should use the tracking info to check for delivery (which I had obviously done before ever contacting them) and check with neighbors to see if anyone else got it. That was their suggestion. And my response to that went completely ignored. Groupon seems to have this policy that once they get your money they could care less what happens after that. Even if you want to return an item because it is junk (which more and more seems to be these days) they won't refund your money. They want to give you "Groupon Bucks" forcing you to buy more junk.
I found out today that you can't even leave a bad review on their website for a product. Because it won't post a bad review. Great way to make sure that nothing bad appears on their web site. You keep getting this error message that the review can't post for some reason.
There are some good things that I have purchased from Groupon. But the dealings with their support department has shown me that they could care less about the customer experience and all about the income of cash, nothing more.

I purchased a Groupon offer for a sail on San Francisco bay with a company called Bay Area Excursions. I tried several times to make a reservaton for the sail but space was never available. Bay Area Excursions now does not respond to messages and has no phone number where they can be contacted. I complained to Groupon but they have done nothing to resolve the problem.

I purches two items from groupon namey a MP3 player and a childs min shooter. I have not recieved either of these items. I have spoken to there support desk they said that they would reture the money i spent on the items but to no avail. The long and short is that I have paid for something that I have never recieved. Please advise me as to what steps can be taken to get my money back?

I ordered a bag from them which promise delivery within 7 days. No one showed up after 2 weeks and I called to complain. To date no one called me and I have yet to get my bag.

No business can sustain these deals. 50% off on some. Will the business be there when you show with a coupon? Most businesses work on a 20% profit margin.how could they take 50% less and stay in business. You figure it out.

Groupon is a scam. Their customer service is horrible. Ordered an item on Sept 6, it is Sept 23rd and nobody has idea when the item is shipping. Customer service in india is a scam. Stay away.

Groupon.com bait-and-switch

Ordered an ipad mini 2, 64gb verizon (mf087ll/a) from groupon - received a 1st generation ipad mini, 64gb (md542ll/a). they sent a stock message stating they're sorry and offered $5 in groupon bucks.

If I weren't at all savvy with technology, I might not realize it wasn't what I ordered, and can be had for over $150 less than what I paid.

Their response: "i'm very sorry for the trouble with your groupon goods purchase. this is never the experience we want you to have, and we're completely embarrassed by the mistake. we're doing everything we can to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. unfortunately, we're not equipped to resend the product you originally ordered, but we are happy to accept a return and issue you a full refund. if you would prefer to keep this product, you are more than welcome to do so as well."

Groupon.com selling damaged unlocked iphone

I bought the iphone 5 at Groupon on Jan 3 and it arrived 2 weeks later, when I begin to use it, it broke down in a week. At first I thought that I might fix it, and take it to a repair shop and people there told me that they can't fix it since it's badly damaged. I was shocked because I never dropped it or fell it into water and it looks just like new. Then I went to the apple store trying to have it replaced, and the salesclerk told me they can't even replace it because it's not unlocked as they said, actually it's linked with another account which belongs to a Japanese!They can't do anything to the phone unless they find that Japanese woman. I have written to Groupon several times for a refund but they keep saying that purchases after 14 days can't be refunded. It really annoyed me because some problems can't be found at once, and they have the responsibility to make sure the items they sell are as good as they describe.Now I can't get the phone fixed and can't get it replaced either, I can't do anything to it even the people in Apple store can't do anything, and 310 dollars is a lot of money to me, I'm feeling really disappointed.Hope the problem will be solved!

I am in the same boat as you. I just found out that the phone is not unlocked. I contacted Groupon and they told me the same thing they told you about no refunds after 14 days. I wonder if there is a way to contact more people like us and then take action against Groupon.

Groupon.com no delivery 2 months down the line

Groupon promised to deliver my products today and i got nothing. I got the below email and then nothing happened. they didn't even bother to contact me and le me know of any changes! they really make me sick

Groupon.com seller promised to help and provide refund, but still nothing changed

I ordered one item from the website www.groupongoods.com. I got it on time, but it was piece of crap. I contacted the customer services and explained my problem. The rep agreed to provide the refund. I returned the item, and the seller informed me that this process could take about 3-4 weeks. I patiently waited, but nothing changed and the seller didn’t communicate with me and didn’t provide any info. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

Dear Groupon,

On 06.05.2014 i purchased Mother’s Day Mystery Gift for RM30 but until NOW 28 MAY 2014 i still get nothing! My delivery is not coming next day, nor the next, nor for the next three days after that. How frustrating!

On 20 May i wrote email to [protected]@gmail.com asked about my tracking number. But they just replied on 26 May and say sorry for failing to deliver the item on time and also for not giving me any update. So i need to wait till next week because they forgot to delivery my purchase! How long should I wait for that item? I just completed one month bro! I already fed up and now I don't want to keep waiting for your item. I want to claim back my money as i am the victim. If no action were taken, I will proceed to report this case to Malaysian Tribunal without hesitate.

I am so disappointed with this and I REGRETTED purchasing this deal from Groupon.
You just show me your rubbish service. What a total waste of my precious time. Now I learned my lesson. Very good service usually comes at a price, not via Groupon!
Definitely won't waste my time again! Enough said!

Groupon.com fraudulent charges

Got notice from Groupon my email was changed. I didn't do so, and on checking it was an email I never heard of. Fraudulent $1200 charge to my registered credit card for a gaming console followed. I was able to cancel it in time since the fraudster didn't change my password so I used the fraudulent email address to get into my account. I also changed the PW to a long random string. Groupon was then helpful in disabling the account and transferring my legitimate purchases to a new account.
Moral: pay close attention to emails about account changes you did not make. Also subscribe to credit cards that email you notices of every transaction immediately, and check them. If you are risk-averse, add a Lifelock subscription at the intermediate level that checks known identity sale web sites.

I own a business and Groupon has debited my account for thousands of dollars ... for a deal that was not even authorized! It’s some NEW DEAL... that Groupon decided to add! I Haven’t changed deals since 2015 now all of the sudden they added a deal that gives 30% cash back to customers?!
Please advise! If anyone knows about lawsuits...
I am feeling so upset. How can they get away with this?!

I ordered some stuff from www.groupon.ae, but I haven’t received my order at all. I think that they are total frauds and steal money from customer. Also they didn’t provide emails address or phone number. So I have no possibility to contact them and return money. They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money. Please we need to stop this company and return our money. Post your comments.

Groupon.com groupon deceives

We used the Groupon getaway for a hotel stay in Baltimore's inner harbor that was supposed to include taxes.Prior to arriving to the hotel we received a confirmation that indicated the total costs including tax.

It was $21 less then we paid to Groupon. Upon checking out of the hotel we were billed for additional taxes ($34) .

The issue was reporting to Groupon's customer support. After several communications trying to clarify the simple discrepancy (clearly stated in the 1st email), customer support replied that the invoice from the hotel was inaccurate.

The difference is only $21 plus taxes but it is the principle of the issue that Groupon is misrepresenting packages when there is a clear difference between paid and actual costs.Just wondering what else is going on behind the scenes

Other people on the web claim this company is really located in China. People have tried to find a physical address in the US, but have not been able to do so. I just read a page where a woman lost $250 of wedding photos with them. I purchased a Groupon. Groupon knows their history...lots of customer complaints all over Yelp ...but they will not admit it. Their groupon promised 100% satisfaction or your money back. All I finally got after three months of waiting is my groupon money back. The company still owes me $33 and will not deliver product, respond to many emails, and Groupon who claims to be able to contact them, will not get my money back. I will never do business with either business again and filed a BBB complaint against Groupon, since they are the only one with an address. Paypal noted that they also could not get my money back from this entity (not in this country). Beware Groupon, they do not screen these businesses and then don't make it right themselves. And, www.PhotobookAmerica.com
is not in America from what I have read on the web. They never sent me my product (3 months later), and never respond to e-mails. You will never see your money again!

Me Too! I went round and round with the BBB. The company (Photobook America) ignored the BBB in NY. Groupon would not contact the company to get my money back. They took postage and handing - over $30 and delivered nothing. I think it is a scam. I have seen posts on yelp too and here. I will file a complaint with the attorney general's office in each state. At least there will be record of this criminal activity.

Groupon.com dining deals

I purchased a Groupon dining offer from a NYC restaurant. After several attempts to have a meal there, I gave up. Twice we drove into the city, which took over an hour (no one picked up the phone when we tried calling on our 2nd visit), the third time we called someone answered and said they were closed. I read on yelp this was a small restaurant, so I assumed they were too busy to pick up phones, but this was ridiculous! My Groupon expired, and when I emailed Groupon to complain, they responded with a patronizing apology followed with "the amount never expires." Yeah right, why would I waste more time, paying for the ridiculous tolls into NYC, gas, just to experience a restaurant that doesn't even pick up their phones? Well, I assumed since I am paying the full amount, and I'm not getting the Groupon deal, I can choose to use the amount I paid in any way I chose. Well, I was going to use it for take out, but groupon informs me the amount can only be applied to the originally terms of the deal. In my case it means I have to pay for 4people with a whole 3 course meal and drinks! Wow, what a scam! How many people have expired Groupons and even with applying the amount you paid it's still too costly to make it worth your visit. Instead I opted to lose the whole amount of what I paid for that "DEAL." Becareful!

Groupon had charged me on 10/22/16 twice, $10 each time. I had not purchased anything from Groupon for years, I had disputed the charges. I also deleted already expired credit card from my account. The credit card had changed the numbers as well. On 11/26/16 they charged me twice again but $25 each transaction. This company is a fraud.

I bought a groupon voucher for 1-Week of Child Care. On the terms and conditions, it didn't say anything. When I am trying to redeem it, I was told I have to enroll the program for 5 weeks. I don't mind 5 weeks program for my daughter, but I wanna try one week first. Customer service said, sorry, no refund.

Appointment for 90 minutes massage done, the massage therapist is no call, no show. I am very frustrated & disgusted with unprofessional behavior of the therapist. I waited more than 1 hr. I will not recommend going to Allison Wellness & Spa. Hope other people will not go through this horrible experience .

Bought suitcase tags. Got voucher but am unable to redeem them. I have no compuiter but a smart phone. This system is very dissapointing. I want my money back or you call me and order the tags for me. This is more than disapointing. You just want to make money and you dont care if you deliver.

some how the cc is stored and i didn't know until I saw the cc number on the online banking and it charged a service without realizing it.

To make this really simple quit putting credit card numbers on the website so people can charge on it without realizing it and then a surprise quit doing it. [censored]. I mean it.

Groupon.com deactivated my account for no reason

Groupon deactivated both my accounts for no reason! I have been a loyal customer for 4 years and have bought lots of Groupons. This is unacceptable treatment of their customers! My accounts had about 10 Groupons that I did not use yet.

I endured a very negative cleaning experience from a company misrepresenting themselves as Stanley Steemer. This company has been using a technique to redirect internet traffic. When a customer googles san diego carpet cleaning or similar, a well known carpet cleaning company shows up on the first page. The phone number associated with the well known company listed on the Google map is "somehow" replaced by a phone number owned by (see link xxxx)The company answered "Carpet Cleaning"(no name). I asked the name and they said "where did you see our ad?" I said under "Stanley Steemer" they said yes they were "Stanley Steemer"and made the appointment. After Coming to my home in a truck labeled (see link xxxxxxx), I questioned the company's name again. I was told they were "Stanley Steemer " and I agreed to have the work done. My receipt was printed with (see link xxxxxx). I later found out this is a piggyback type scam. I spoke with someone calling himself the owner xxx see link

SCAMS!: The truth is, is that this is a well thought out business model, an extortion scheme to be avoided. The main feature is preying on you at your weakest moment. The Carpet Cleaning Upholstery Cleaner scams involve "Bait and Switch" Up-selling and Fraudulently redirecting internet traffic. Once you make the appointment, you are encouraged to move your furniture. The Carpet Cleaner arrives and promptly informs you that your carpet is so filthy that the normal cleaning won't work. The "cleaner" knows you've moved the furniture and have possibly taken off from work. He knows you are eager to get the carpet cleaned. The 49.00 deal goes up 100% while the guy bluffs, that he's going to leave. Our elderly are especially vulnerable to this scam. News Flash! It's not Green or Anti Allergy . They use the same carpet solution you buy at Home Depot. Redirecting intent traffic by hijacking Google search phone numbers and replacing them for short periods of time.Who is responsible? Top Spot Me topspotme.com These Companies have NO repeat business .So many people have left Bad feedback and Negative reviews, they have no recourse but to hide behind Valupak, Groupon, Amazon Local Deals and Living Social.

Locksmiths: they promise 19.00. They know you are locked out and vulnerable suddenly the price becomes 200.00-300.00 or more for 5 minutes work. This tactic takes full advantage of the elderly, women or anyone locked out of their cars and homes in the dark. The scary part is these people are NOT licensed, they can easily come back and open the door when your not home.

Air Duct Cleaning: No matter what the condition of you air ducts are, these companies will declare them filthy and the cause of your illnesses. This is a total scam taking advantage of ill people, desperate to feel better.They often go so far as to recommend complete Air and Heating system replacements and or "Chemical Treatments".

Orogold ORO Gold: once again, taking advantage of women looking for a magic wrinkle cream, they extract large sums of money from the vulnerable.

Moving Companies: When you're moving your worldly goods across town or across the country, you're most vulnerable. With this type of business you will find your estimate will quadruple.

Contracting Contractors Home Repair Remodelers Handyman: When you trust someone to tear your house apart and put it back together again you're extremely vulnerable. This type of company will take full advantage and in all cases the price swiftly rises as new "problems" are discovered. These parasites know you can't just get another contractor at the blink of an eye.

Towing: Same old scam. Your car has broken down, you're vulnerable. It's probably at night. This is were this type of business flourishes.

Water Damage: Water Damage is another popular business with them. It's an emergency and they happily take advantage of you at your worst moments. Bed Bug: Another Repeat. . .They say you have bed bugs even if you don't and they "treat" and get paid!

SEO Search Engine Optimization: They use illegal methods to move traffic to your website . I know of a "google phone number switch " they also piggyback on an existing website or redirect traffic from a legitimate website to their site. I tried reporting this activity to google but they was no way to report it.

Lottery Scam: This scam convinces people they've won the lottery and need to pay taxes, guess who collects the taxes?.

Subway Scam (Tube shekel scammer) This scam has a guy pretending to be poor, homeless etc. asking unsuspecting people for help. It's just another Israeli scam, it's not an isolated incident it's a con artist business model and it fits perfectly with the homeless problem in many urban areas.

Super Aggressive Kiosks at the Mall forcing unwanted compliments and beauty products on unsuspecting shoppers .

Groupon.com when something goes wrong, good luck

I purchased a Groupon, went to the store to use it, and the store said the Groupon was not valid. Apparently Groupon had some sort of "system problem" which was indicating that the Groupon had already been used. It had definitely not been used. I made my purchase at the store anyway, fully expecting Groupon to give me back the value of the Groupon. Wrong. Groupon Customer Service did not resolve my issue. I ended up having to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau/BBB. Groupon then agreed in their response to the BBB complaint to issue me a refund. Weeks later, I still do not have the refund. I called Groupon about the refund and was promised that someone will return my call in 2 days. A week later I am still waiting for that return phone call. I had to file another complaint with the BBB just to get the refund that Groupon promised to give me in their written response to my first complaint! Considering all the time I am spending I certainly am not saving any money using their "service". When everything goes well, Groupon is not a bad deal. When something goes wrong, good luck. Any company can provide great customer service when things are going well. A true customer focused organization should be able to make a customer feel good even when things are not going as planned. Groupon certainly fails in this respect.

Groupon.com failure to honor terms of better business bureau negotiated agreement
