Good day
My bakkie went in for a 50 000 or 55000km service, and when we got it back, the bakkie did not want to work anymore. We had the vehicle towed in more than 6 months ago to GMW Tableview. This happened in March 2023 already.
They submitted a warrantee claim on the engine or something to GWM South Africa, which was approved according to the dealership. Parts were ordered and received, however still no bakkie. We were informed by the branch that when everything was fixed, the bakkie was not right, and backfired, and they are not sure what is going on and how to fix it. They said they were in contact with GWM South Africa, and this is where it was left. We don't know what is going on and I am paying this bakkie each month in full to GWM finance. No feedback is received from nobody. I have to pay comprehensive insurance which is costing me alot and no repairs of my vehicle is happening. We called GWM South Africa, but the number for client care is just ringing, with no option to leave a message. We also mailed them from the website, with no response as yet. We do not know what to do anymore, as we are sitting with nothing, and are paying alot of money per month for this vehicle, which is clearly not fair to the consumer. If they cant fix the bakkie, why are they keeping us in the dark. Really unacceptable behaviour from GWM and GWM Tableview.
Desired outcome: We need to get this sorted out, or give us the option to get a new bakkie which actually works.
