Ask yourself, would a reputable company make you sign a 1 year contract when you don’t even know what you’re getting? I fell for it. The recruiters must be trained to get you in the door by promising you the world. They told me things like “you’ll have a monopoly on all the calls because you’re the only one in the area” and “the fees will pay off with just one job” and “you’ll get lots of leads the first month”. Well, after 3 months at $300/month, I got exactly 3 of the worst leads ever. I accepted them all and they all went nowhere…no reply’s, no call backs. I’m pretty sure sure they were scam leads - they were the dinkiest little jobs you could ever imagine like building one wall in a guys basement. You start with an 80% rating because you have no reviews and the whole system supposedly works on reviews. If you can’t get reviews (because nobody wants to do reviews) then you get no leads. Or you can pay more money and they’ll throw your company into the mix more often. You’re set up to fail but don’t worry, if you cancel you only have to pay 35% of the remainder of your contract. I got out immediately and accepted that I got scammed and duped. I paid $900 for the first 3 months and another $900 after cancelling to pay out my contract and for that I got exactly nothing. If you think Home Stars sounds good, demand a 1 month contract at the lowest possible package - they won’t do it because they are professional rip off artists.
