chocolate cupcakes
Every since Hostess shut down and reopened the products went from delicious to trash. The cupcakes taste old and super dry. I don't remember it being like that years ago. The recipes are not the same and this company that purchased Hostess back in 2012 need to go bankruptcy and maybe a better buyer could come up with the recipe people are use to tasting. These products are hideous. I live in St. Louis and remember going to the bakery back in the 90s as a child and people loved there products and now I go in a store it's on the shelves and people ain't buying that junk maybe these kids born in the 2000s are which they don't know what real food is.
chocolate cupcakes
I purchased a box of 8 Chocolate cupcakes on August 29th. The date on the package is October 11. I assume that's a sell by or use by date. In any event they shouldn't be stale already. The first one was dry and stale tasting, I had another one yesterday and one somewhere in between. I guess it was wishful thinking after the first one that they would be good. I'm sure you're aware that they are individually packaged inside so opening the box didn't do it. I buy these often because, when fresh, they make a really good portion controlled snack. This has happened before. Then other times they're fine. The new ones I got with a date of November 12, are pretty good but I've had better. I had thrown out the box of the old ones but then thought I should say something. I'm not wasting my calories on bad snacks. When you're watching how much you eat, wasting 160 calories is very bad for the mood! No, I don't want a healthy snack, I want a decent cupcake.
I read somewhere that one of the ways to save money is to make more and ship them less often. I get the idea but it needs to be fixed a bit.
I want my money back and I'd like it if my future cupcakes were fresh.
powdered donettes
What is going on with this place? Again, I bought what used be my favorite treat... And had to throw out the pack. Strange taste.. Who knows how this stuff is made anymore? Expiration dates have no bearing... It just tastes horrible. Chemical? Something really bad.. Im not ever buying hostess again. Its scary. So sad... Disappointed beyond words.
frosted jumbo donettes chocolate
Bought this thinking they would be like the smaller ones but bigger and individually wrapped. First bite ( and only ) had a taste of plastic infused with fuel of some sort. Had to spit it out. Kept smelling it and the more I did, the more plastic I could smell in it. Not sure if it was this box only or all taste that way but not willing to find out.
hostess jumbo donettes
I purchased a box of individually wrapped doughnuts last week in Washington, Illinois. They smell like chemicals. My granddaughter had to throw them out. The date is best used by Oct 2, 2019. The number under the date is G [protected] 205 16.26.
Have you had any other complaints about them? I would appreciate a reimbursement. Thank you.

Hostess jumbo donettes were inedible
Doughnuts tasted like chemicals. Couldn’t eat them.
hostess zingers
I purchased Hostess Zingers Iced Vanilla Cake with creamy filling at the nearby Dollar General Store 4947 - Discount Store - 102 N Main St, Blanchard, LA. on Sept 9th.
The date and data on the box was:
Best by Nov. 5, 2019...G [protected]:09
I have eaten 5 and 3 of the 5 had a very crusty hard iced topping.
That was a stray from the norm.
Why would that be?
I was very disappointed.

chocolate peanut butter cupcakes
Cakes were dry and not more than 1/4 teaspoon of filling in entire cake if that much, no peanut butter filling that you could taste and bitter taste to cake. Will never buy again, may never buy your products again, other good ones out there and will throw these away.
This is Sept 13th and expiration date on boy October 5. Very disappointing
Get with quality control and do what is right by customer.
raspberry zingers
I had sent a complaint about the box of Raspberry Zingers. I am disappointed that I have not been contacted.
The Zinger has a black spot on it. I have the product still and the box itself also took pictures. I still have the product and the spot is still black. I am not going to return the product to the store. I will keep the box and zinger for my evidence. I am waiting on a response to my email.
I could not believe the size of the zinger. I laughed, this is ridiculous. Hostess should be embarrassed. I paid $4.00 for a bite size cake. I still laugh and shake my head. Save your time and money quit making them. Hell it is cheap to make the cream filling that's what you should name it. " Raspberry Zinger slime ". I wish I would have made a video and blasted on social media.

raspberry zingers
Hi.
First of all, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my favorites in "Hostess" packaging.
I don't know if you were behind the "raspberry zingers" all along, but this was the first time I saw the "Hostess" name.
Bought a pack at a gas station and was very disappointed in the product. The cakes seemed to be flattened out with very little cake to it. It was excessively moist with creme that was plentiful, but not the creme I remember.
The whole taste was off!
I really don't even know how much I paid for it, but i would like to get a coupon for another one. Hopefully it will be better than the first.

jumbo donettes chocolate coated 8 pack.
I decided to try some they taste as though a bottle of cologne was dropped into the place you ice them in . It was horrible my 8 pack where not edible. Is someone wearing cologne at the factory that your donuts could taste that way. I took some to lunch upon taking a bite it was so horrible I had to spit it out. That was unladylike. Thought you should know.
Thank you,
Ms Topping
hostess twinkies
First time I bought a box of Twinkies since I was a kid. First of all they were half the size they use to be and burnt on the bottom. You can't even call them 'Twinkies' anymore. They were uneditable. A mere shell of what they once were. I can't even eat them. They are HORRIBLE! I'll stick with Little Debbie's thank you. Or better yet, I'll make my own snacks.

My grandkids love these and I bought a box and out of 10/ 5 didn't have cream filling. I was disappointed. My grandkids were kinda upset but I promised them we would get mor e but I haven't as of yet. On another note I have bad arthritis and really wish you would go back to foil packing, the plastic is Hard to open. Please fix whatever problems might be happening because this is about the 5th time this has happened. I purchased these at dollar store in Oklahoma and have for a long time.
donettes
This is what my brand new bag looked like when I opened it. Kids were excited about the caramel crunch flavor. I was very disappointed as we buy your product every week. I hope that you can send me some coupons or I may need to look into a different breakfast choice. I am a single mom living on food stamps and a part time job. Please make this right.
vanilla zingers
A couple of bites into my first cake. I saw something dark at the edge of my last bite. It was right up under the icing. I moved it with my finger. And it "appears" to be a piece of mouse poop. Not completely sure? I left it where it was, and took a picture. You can see the spot under the icing where it had been setting before I touched it, and made it drop down a little. I sealed it in a baggy. This was on August 29th. The product was purchased from a local gas station. A Phillips 66.
cream cheese danish
I purchased a six pack of Hostess Cream Cheese Danish this past week and had one yesterday. I was extremely dissatisfied with this product.
It was very dry and did not appear as the picture on the box, which showed a dollop of cream cheese on the top.
There was no sign of cream cheese nor any flavor if it either.
I certainly will never purchase this item again.
A refund would be in order. Purchase price was $3.69 at Hannaford Grocery Store.

chocolate peanut butter twinkies
Tried for the first time today. I was sadly disappointed. Where is the peanut butter.?I couldn't even eat one whole one.
It was dry with a small amount of"peanut butter" in it. The peanut butter was dry like cake. When I bite into your products I expect a burst of flavor and have always been rewarded with just that. This time the cake was dry, hard to swallow. The peanut butter was almost non existent and dry. I really hope that your ho ho's are better.
donnettes
These are terrible, flavorless! Yuck! I didn't get past one bite of the powdered or the chocolate donette. The chocolate tastes like flavorless wax and the powdered tastes like absolutely nothing. How are these still on the market? Tried little Debbie and they are 100% better. Stop making these! They are terrible. Hostess donettes use to be the best and now they are the worst mini donut on the market. What a shame. Bad ingredients I guess, you went for cheap instead of striving for quality. What a shame.
chocolate frosted mini donut, 8 snack size packs
The expiration date was Aug 16 2019, so on Aug 20th 2019, I didn't expect to toss a moldy mini chocolate donut in my mouth . I immediately tasted a burnt plastic, rotten taste and spit it out. The web of some kind of mold was on them. Horrified, I inspected the remainder of the packs and discovered the rest were fine, still threw them away. I'm hoping hostess being a name I grew up with will try and make this right.
raspberry zingers
I Bought a box of raspberry zingers from Walmart in aTyler Texas. Got home and couldn't wait to open the box of Raspberry Zingers. Sadly I was very disappointed to find what look like pink Twinkies. They had no coconut but what so ever. I ever tried them But didn't even taste Like they Should . They were not good at all. My Family and I are very disappointed.
hostess white fudge ding dong
Tasted like chemicals and smelled like chemicals, made me sick for days, only one in the box seemed bad, I saved the bad one and the box with the left over good one's, what was in the one bad one and why did it taste like chemicals and smell like chemicals, and why did it make me sick for days, should I be concerned, and should anyone else be concerned about this
