white fudge ding dongs
I buy from hostess all the time. But yesterday I bought a box from safeway i opened them up they are half the size they normally are. They look barely coated with white fudge you can still see part of the cake . They also look really golden brown and taste like there over cooked you dont get that soft taste when you bite into it. It kinda taste old. i was really disappointed They dont even taste right.
chocolate cupcakes
I have been buying these cupcakes for my husband for quite a few years now. He loves them. However, we have found that the last two dozen purchased have had issues. The individual wrapping on the cupcakes is not fully closed. Air gets in and the cupcakes end up hard and stale. My husband is disappointed every day. Don't know if something to do with packaging process but wanted to advise before get too many complaints. These cupcakes in my area are $3.79 per box. Not cheap and annoying to waste money. Thank you
ho ho’s
I just bought a box of these from Walmart. Put em in a bag with cookies because ya do t want em squished. So a few hours later I proceed to open em up and take one out. I don't know what happened. The cake is literally like 1/2" tall. Flattened. All of them are flattened. Not round. The box is in perfect condition so I can only think that this happened while making them. Yay quality control! So idk I leave a message so we will see if they call me back. I really would be happy with a free box. These suckers are like $4. Flattened or round. Yes, yes it does make a difference in taste. Maybe air got into em idk but blech
6 pack chocolate doughnuts
I bought 6 pack of chocolate doughnuts as I do every morning on my way to work. I didn't realize until after the fact that the unopened package only had 5 doughnuts.
So I just attempted to submit this and a little pop up explained that my explanation was to short and would more than likely go unnoticed. Maybe instead of having customers waste time writing Hostess an essay, you all could put the effort into better training your QA employees. If this is how your company chooses to do things it's no wonder your employees are sub par at best. Maybe my family will spend our money elsewhere considering how often we purchase your products. I have 3 young children that play numerous sports that I happen to coach and supply snacks for on a weekly basis at a minimum.

apple fruit pie
Purchased my first apple fruit pie in over ten years as the box said it was, "our best pie ever!" As a kid I have fond memories of this product and figured it was worth giving this a re-try. It was purchased on 8/6/18 while the expiration date showed 9/1/18. Sadly the pie had a tingy, hard metal taste that bordered on nauseating. I never make such complaints, but when an adult male can't finish a 5-inch food item then that's an indictment on the quality of the product. It's been over ten years since I've had a Hostess item, and it looks like it will be another ten more years - if ever.
Oh, and your Suzy-Qs look tiny compared to the original recipe. Haven't tried one yet, and have no intention.
way of communication
I had a flight number 583 from SHARJHA to SALALAH with my family on Friday at 8:05 AM. I have 4 seats for me, my wife and 2 kids (one has 5 years old and the other have 2 years and 5 months). They booked for me seat number 4c and for my family 25 D, E, and F. The problem is my family is far away from me and they are the first time for them to have flight. Moreover, my little child who have 2 years and half can not seat alone on the seat because he was sick and he was crying over the flight as we came from from Egypt. I asked the host there to be with them because I have to be with them. The host asked me to go for my seat and let my son and I really refused because any father in the same situation will refuse. I informed him that it is difficult to let him and he will cry more and he is sick and moreover, my wife can not deal the situation alone with another kid. I really disappointed from his communication and he came more times to me and his voice was loud which make me upset and totally dissatisfied from the way of communication. He communicated with me as I am a criminal. On this moment I refused to abandon my son even I would leave the flight. I really stayed with my kid on his seat and carried him because any father will do as I did (I know very well my child is not infant but we are in special case). The host came to me again and asked me for my information and take the flight ticket with my passport. I asked him why do you need my information, he said I have to give him these information. I really gave him my flight ticket and passport. is it the way you are communicating with your customers?
I am a professor of Tourism management, and I teach my students who are working in many tourism companies how to communicate well with their customers and they have to know the importance of word of mouth but your host did not study well these critical points.
Please reply to me urgently and send me letter of excuse
Thanks

chocolate peanut butter twinkies
I bought some of these chocolate peanut butter Twinkies expecting to get a full among of peanut butter feeling. Instead, I got a mouth full of just chocolate with a smidge of chocolate. Nothing like the picture on the box. Very disappointed 😢 I always enjoy your products in past. I feel there should be more peanut butter filling to balance the chocolate flavor. I look forward to continue enjoying your products.
donetts: double chocolate flavored mini donuts
My donuts are dated the 13th of Aug. today is the 31st of July. The first few donuts were fine. The bag smelled fine, I ate a few donuts they tasted like they should have. Then I bit into one and I caught a big smell of something. I don't know what it was, I looked at the donut and it had some kind of webbing on it like you see for a spider or something. It smelled like raspberries or something like it. I thought I would be sick. The whole bag smells bad now, not like raspberries. My name is Jacque Taylor I live at 1211 Curtis St. Middletown, Ohio 45044 Thank you for addressing my problem in advance.
This is just a concern about quality assurance procedures not being followed. I purchased a bag of frosted donettes exp mar 30 2020 H [protected] 025 . My concern is over all poor quality L know hostess employees are better than that. Thanks for your consideration . Scott Meling
chocolate cake twinkies
I purchased the twinkies on July 28th from Dollar Tree on Bridford Pkwy in Greensboro NC. I noticed that some of the twinkies had a best by date of July 25th so I looked around for later dates. I came across 1 dated for August 19th and to my surprise when I opened it TODAY to see mold only a few days after purchasing was very disappointing. I took pictures of the wrapper and twinkie. I was really bothered by this. The chocolate twinkies are my favorite snack and I would like my money back and some free ones and/or free coupons. I can be reached by email at [protected]@yahoo.com. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
white powdered mini doughnuts
I just picked up a bag of the white doughnuts and they taste awful, made me puke. They taste like a cleaner like windex almost. I grew up with these and they're usually amazing. The identification codes are as follow. L:F [protected] 155X 06:14 D1 and the barcode is. [protected] 4 They are the 298g packaging doughnuts. I was hoping to get reimbursed or sent a free bag, just because these are god awful.
hostess mini muffins blueberry
I've been a long time customer of Hostess and my 2 yr old son loves the blueberry mini muffins. I have an unopened bag that is supposed to contain 4 muffins but when I hold the bag up to the light I can only see 2 instead of 4. The rest of the packages in the box I purchased contained the correct amount except for this bag. I'm just wondering how this could happen?
The numbers on the package are F [protected]:56 D
Best Buy date is August 23 2018
hostess orange cupcakes
I purchased a pack of your orange Cupcakes from a gas station in Watertown, NY. I was in a rush I admit so I as usual picked up my cupcakes and left. Upon arriving at home I noticed that there must have been a a glitch in the machine because my frosting was partially missing on my cupcakes but the white swirl was perfectly intact. I didn't open the cupcakes at all you can see from the picture provided below. I don't know what happened to my cupcakes but I thought you should be made aware.
Thank you

suzyq’s why are they so small!?!
You sure shrunk these Suzy Q's down. Back in the day they were as big as my iPhone 5c and that's small in comparison to how big they are today. Ridiculous! Are you that greedy for cash? I probably over the past 60 years ate hundreds of SuzyQs. And these are very disappointing. I got 8 in a 6 pack box but they were so small they had to add 2 more to meet the 15.66oz. To meet standards. Terrible. Make em right or don't make em at all.

hostess bakery petites
On july 16, 2018, I purchased a package of hostess bakery petites, white fudge vanilla cake delights from tops market on east ridge road, in rochester, ny. This item, according to the bag, was a new product, so I thought I thought I would try it. According to the description on the bag, it contained 4 servings per container and the serving size was 3 mini cakes. The picture on the package looked delicious, and the fact that the item was white fudge vanilla made it more enticing since I have an allergy to regular chocolate and the size made it perfect for an evening snack for my husband and me. I was greatly disappointed when I opened the package and found that there were seven whole mini cakes and the crumbs and pieces from what appeared to be three other cakes. Yes, the little cakes were tasty and we did enjoy them but I felt that the condition of the product was not good and the serving size was misrepresented.
white bread
I bought a loaf of bread yesterday went to use it this morning with breakfast and you can smell and taste soap. It is disgusting. How does something like this get past quality control. I know that stores like Family Dollar are for getting rid of over stock or discontinued items but this isn't one of those items that shouldn't be substandard. Now should it.
broken cookies in bag of petites fudge blondie crispi thins
Purchased on 7/12/2018 at Meijers Holland MI
Package # F 0503 88600 123 12:21 1
UPC # 88109 11253
Upon opening the package of Hostess Bakery Petites fudge blonde crispi thins I discovered only 8 complete cookies. The rest was just crumbs. This made me very disappointed as the only use for this is topping for ice cream. I'm glad I hadn't bought these to serve to company.
I am requesting a full refund of $4.49.
Thank you,

bread and cake good
I am a retired baker from Hostess bread and cakes in the Sacramento, Ca area. I have purchased Hostess good for my family for years and never, until recently, have I experienced so many shortages in my in my little bites ( it said 5 and I had 3 in the box), Zingers, and fruit pies. The final straw was when my bread was packed side ways and smashed! For 25 years, I mixed, cut, baked and packed baked goods for Hostess and these infractions are completely unacceptable in any form of baking, packing and marketing. If you would like, I would gladly and proudly show and teach your baking and packing department the proper way to pack, load and troubleshooting techniques to provide quality product to your customers to ensure customer satisfaction. What can we do to ensure that this quality fumble will not take place again? I really don't want to, but we as customers are being forced to purchase competitive goods! Please HELP! Thanks!
Sincerely,
Damon Carver

suzy q
I saw on the package that the Suzy Q's now have 50% more creme. Not true. It seems like the same amount of creme as before when the Suzy Q was first brought back. This was always my very favorite Hostess snack. Not anymore. The cake is dry and no longer tastes like the chocolate cake I remember from before. When I first tasted the Suzy Q the chocolate was more of a devil's food chocolate. A richer chocolate flavor. Now it tastes like a knockoff. I am very disappointed. I doubt I will purchase any Hostess product in the future if this is what I have to look forward to.
hostess donettes frosted mini donuts #[protected] 173 23:03 d3
I want to know is there no quality control on your products? Absolutely stale old doughnuts. How can you sell these. These donuts where about the size of a smashed pencil. I'm not kidding they looked the the surface of the moon and hard as a rock. Not round not smooth. It's like crumbs smashed together and dipped in chocolate. I'm ready some of these complaints and there seems to be a lot from Montana. Why? Whoever is making these for you doesn't care about the quality of your products. I'm done i refuse to buy any Hostess product. The grand kids are not allowed to buy anything Hostess. Growing up Hostess was a quality product but I guess now a days it's just about the money. What a joke!
hostess cupcakes
I recently purchased a box of Hostess cupcakes. The 2 cupcakes on one end were very dry, the frosting was much lighter in color than the rest and very hard/crystallized. They were definitely not edible and went in the garbage. The # on the front of the box are: Aug 09 2018

Would either appreciate a refund of $2.00 or coupon for a free box.
Thank you. Do still enjoy the Hostess brand.
