I wanted to book a week stay at Ocean Reef Resorts in Myrtle Beach, SC. I called a number that I thought was Ocean Reef and was told yes. I was never informed they were a third party booking site. Was not informed of their cancelation policy or payment policy. They have charged me the full amount of $6958.32 as nonrefundable. Called Ocean Reef directly and was told they didn't have my name on record or any rooms available for the week I requested. Still no refund. How can a company reserve a room when the room was nonexistent. Totally a scam business.. Do not use, and double check the website that you are using before booking any reservations. They wanted to give me half my money back on a voucher that I could not use. Told them I was not interested in a voucher and wanted a full refund. I then received an email saying my refund would be credited back to my card in 5 to 10 business days. Now on business day 8 still nothing, also not answering any emails. I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They should be shutdown. I have attached both of the bogus websites of both Hotelsone.com and Ocean Reef Resorts.
