Aug 13 2022 I scheduled an overnight stay at Embassy Suites Anahiem Orange online. I paid with my credit card $355.01.9 days later I received a bill from the hotel stating Hotelvalues/GETAROOM did not pay them for my stay therefore I am responsible for paying $235.66 an additional amount that was paid to HOTELVALUES/GETAROOM. I called both he hotel manager and HOTELVALUE, I was told I have to call back to get to see if there is an update. I can not speak with supervisor, I cannot have a d direct phone number to give the hotel manager, this was after explaining their toll free number does not give a billing option when calling. I had to pretend I was calling to schedule another hotel stay in order to get a live person. You will not know to do this especially if you can not think outside the box. I did my part by making sure the charges went through, you should honor your responsivities by paying hotel, there has to be a process in place for pay the hotel which does not include the customer being financially responsible. A process for if your employee does not process the payment the hotel is immediately notified and paid.
Desired outcome: HotelValue to immediately pay the hotel or refund my money so I can pay the hotel directly.
Refund on a terminated hotel stay
My family had a reservation (R3465714286) on 8/12-14 but could not make it due to my wife having Covid. We could not get across the border. We called and tried to cancel the morning of 8/12 as soon as we knew we couldn't go. We were told that the hotel would do everything they could for us to get a refund but at this point nothing has been received. I don't think the hotel would have wanted us to come anyways and by not showing us a refund tells us that Hilton does not care about there guests. I wonder what everyone else would think if they know that Hilton wasn't offering up some sort of refund. It was out of our control.

Getaroom hotel values have financially ruined me and my family
On the 4th July 2022 booked a room. 5 Minutes later cancelled the room on the 4th July 2022. Clearing stating in terms and conditions if it was cancelled before the 7th July 2022 a full refund would apply. They took the money on the 8th July 2022. Knowing I had cancelled on the 4th July 2022. I have sent several emails they muck you around. No refund. I am financially ruined. I have sent all Documents and they still keep mucking me around. Give me back my money. I have paid for services I did not receive. This is illegal.

standard of the Mecure Hotel Bristol
we stayed at the Mecure hotel Bristol all booked in for the February 18th 22 for a long weekend.
On arrival we were told the the pool wasn't working and limited leisure facilities which was very disappointing but that was only the start. My partner and I had a room and my daughter was in another but omg my partner and I got into our room and the smell of mould and damp (to which I took photos). I called reception and they said to take photos and send them down so I did 30 minutes later they allocated us another room. My daughter got into her room and wanted a rest when she pulled back the top covers discovered blood stains on what was meant to be clean sheets. Our room had mould around the windows, kettle was so disgusting I didn't even touch it let alone make a drink.
Our new room was better and bigger upgraded from double to a master, no remote so couldn't change tv channels and the mould in the shower again !
I asked reception on the saturday morning for house keeping to make our room, on our return no clean towels, no replacement tea, milk or sugar I give up. We paid a total of £737.04 (with taxes) and were told by the manager to ask for a refund.

In June my daughter made room reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn in what she thought was Clovis, New Mexico. The reservationist booked the rooms. at the Hilton Garden Inn in CLOVIS, CALIFORNIA AND NOT NEW MEXICO. In fact she wasn’t told that there is NO Hilton Garden Inn in Clovis, New Mexico.
The error was not discovered until we were on our way to Clovis, New Mexico. My daughter immediately called the 800 number. The “jerk” she talked to was rude & hard to understand. He refused to make any adjustments and a charge of $790.64 was posted to my charge card for rooms in the WRONG CITY!
Now, I ask you, “doesn’t it make sense that booking agents would let clients know their is no hotel in the city they are requesting?

Scam Artists
Number one the way their website is set up it makes you think that they are Hyatt Regency Hotels, they are NOT. So we booked a room for two nights online. I should of known something was fishy because in their confirmation email no where in the email does it say the name of their company or any contact information. Wake up the next morning and they are two bookings on my credit card. One for the the two nights I did book and another for FOUR nights we did NOT book! So after doing some digging online i found a well hidden customer service number. I called their 800 number and was told it was an error on the four nights and they would cancel it however there would be a $177 cancelation fee! A cancelation fee on a room I didnt book? The customer service was horrible and they guy acted like he could care less so I asked to speak to a supervisor and put on hold 24 minutes before being hung up on, so I called back and put on hold 17 minutes before being told the supervisor would call me back, and yup you guessed it I never got a call back! I will be disputing this with my credit card and emailing Hyatt Corporate to advise them of this companys shady practices.
Desired outcome: I want a refund for the 4 days they billed me for that I didnt book!
Hotel reservation
I was looking for hotel for one night in somers point NJ and searching different sites. On Sunday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m I booked on agoda.com for July 28 at Sonesta. Which I don’t dispute and that was my intention. A few minutes later I received a email confirmation from hotel values.com for the same hotel at a much higher price with a pending non refundable charge. I called to cancel at approximately 9:00 p.m.and the representative sounded suspicious and unhelpful. He told me another travel site is involved and won’t refund the money but won’t tell me who the travel site is. This is after keeping me on hold for about half hour. The charge is $184.70 for the room and $103.81 for taxes

I thought I was booking directly with a hotel. When I went to review the cancellation policy on the booking I was considering, the purchase went through on my credit card. I tried to cancel right away and got an email receipt of the cancellation request. I tried to reach someone at this company to confirm when I will be credited the amount I paid in error. Can not find a way to talk with anyone at all. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience.
Booking hotel
I made the mistake of confirming my booking, Realized I needed to call directly because we had a group rate so I canceled within 5 minutes. That cost me $325! They gave me back $92 from my booking. I called to talk to someone, they gave me a case number. A month later they say they are still waiting on a response from the ppl they deal with. That is some bull crap. A few times they admit it is wrong but then say they have no control over it.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back, but even said I would take a credit to use later.
Scam masquerading as lowes sapphire falls website.
Completely scammed my family masquerading as lowes sapphire falls direct website. Double charged the overpriced scam hold for the stay, added two hundred seventy four dollars in scam fees, overpriced the room from the two hundreds to three hundred sixty one dollars! Bad karma to you. You will have to answer to jesus for this one, stealing from others won’t go unpunished.
Desired outcome: We want our money back, 274 plus the difference in the ACTUAL ROOM PRICE to what they scammed us at.
Service fees
I planned a family weekend to hershey park and Normally use expedia but was looking to compare prices. I googled Days Inn front desk to see their own price for the weekend and thought it was them with a special rate for two rooms at 1368.. its only after putting in credit card info and reaching the bottom page the total price pop up to a extra 702.20 for extra service fees.. I clicked back to cancel it didn't allow, called their number and was told too late to cancel.. total came to 2070.46 for 3 nights.. I yelled that's extremely large sum to charge for service and no other never will do this..
Desired outcome: I had to go or loose my money..hotel shook their head when I told them the story..like they heard it before..
Scam
I went on the Tue by Hilton website... or so I thought. Called and got a room for a event I am attending and was told I was getting the lowest rates. Turns out that the lowest rates were 95, 89 and 85$ more expensive than the hotel prices. How do I know that well I am glad you asked, got three different conformation emails that was a little weird so when I get to my hotel I have to get my room key re done each day. I asked why etc... found out the room rates and did basic math. Called the customer service and for my booking on [protected] I had to cancel on 7-9-2022 to get a full refund. Doing that basic math doesn't add up. I called customer service and was offered a 20% refund of my 600$ total charge for 40 and some change... again doing that basic math thing this doesn't add up. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Now I am on hold and I bet they are waiting on me to hang up so we will see how long this hold music last.
Desired outcome: Treat people with respect instead of ripping them off. CRAZY THEY ARE STILL GOING
Never use this company. Charge way more than calling the hotel yourself. The cancelation time to get a full refund was only 8 minutes from the time I made the reservation. Total scam. It sad that there is so many scams out there. Had to cancel due to covid. Lost $182.00.
Hotel booking
Today I was looking for a hotel room in O'Neil, Nebraska. I went online to search. I'm pretty sure I used search terms "expedia O'Neill NE".
One response listed a Super 8 room for $74.44. I booked it. Later I looked at my email receipt and saw that it was for $119.24. There was a $44.80 charge for "Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees". There was no mention of this charge in the online offering.
Desired outcome: I'd like to get the $44.80 back.
Fraudulent took booking money and didn't pass on to the hotel
After booking through Hotel Values, which is part of AGODA they accepted my booking and instantly took over $1,400 in room fees. When I cancelled the booking (within the hotels cancellation terms) two days prior to my arrival Hotel Values did not refund the money. Upon checking with the hotel they also have not received any funds. There is no way of contacting Hotel Values and when I logged in to Agoda there is no record of my booking. When I send the Help Desk my booking number they say there is no record of the booking! Complete scam. BEWARE.
I wish I would have read these reviews. I booked a hotel reservation, thinking I was using the actual hotel's website. Once I figured out the mistake, I immediately cancelled the reservation through hotelvalues.com within 15 minutes. They refunded all but $250, and I was WELL within the cancellation policy.
I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company for this transaction, as I cannot get through to anyone from hotelvalues.com.
Unauthorized credit card charges
On 6/02/22, I googled for hotels in Rome, Italy and found Marcella Royal Hotel with reasonable prices. Believing that I was on the hotel's website (www.marcellaroyalhotel.guestreservations.com), I made a reservation for one room for two nights (9/28/22, 9/29/22) AUD$359. I then received an email from hotelvalues confirming I had paid a total of AUD$717.09 with my Mastercard. It mentioned an Euro24 resort fee which had not been mentioned before I paid. I was very confused. I emailed the hotel immediately and found out the booking was not with them. I then emailed hotelvalues.com, which bounced and then found out they also trade under getaroom.com. I emailed them straight away and received a case number. I sent a reminder on 18 and 30 June. No word to date. I lodged a dispute claim with my bank, providing all evidence.
I find this unethical and am appalled this behavour exists in 2022.

Hotel booking
I was booking a hotel in Toronto I thought through booking.com . for 11th to 15th June.
I believed a booking was made but received no confirmation so thus thought it had fallen through.
To my surprise a found a debit on my credit card statement on 7th June for £2080 after the booking commenced on 4th June.
So it was for the wrong dates and anyway not advised in time .
Desired outcome: Refund
Hotel reservation and cancellation (no refund)
On 6/28/22, I googled for hotels in Columbia, MO, and found La Quinta with reasonable prices. Believing that I was on the hotel's website, I made a reservation for one room for two nights (7/22/22, 7/23/22). I paid a total of $284.79 with my Visa card, which includes the room charge of $185.30, and a Tax and Service fee of $99.49. Next day, on 6/29/22, I cancelled the reservation because of some unexpected change of my travel, I found that I would get no refund at all. I called the number [protected] listed on my cancellation email, I was told it is the policy of the company to issue no refund for booking via hotelvalues.com. This is totally a ripping off. I will call my credit card company to refute this payment, and will contact La Quinta in Columbia, MO, to terminate working with hotelvalues.com for good.
Desired outcome: Refund to me at least the room charge, if not the service fee.
Won’t cancel my reservation

Made a reservation for the Hampton Inn in Hagerstown Highway on Dual Highway they booked me at the wrong one even though I said over and over again which one. Then I called right back after getting confirmation email to switch the reservation and they won’t do it-only offer me a 20% discount to stay at the wrong hotel. They are giving me the run around now about refunding my money. They are a scam.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund.
Total scammers. I just reported them to the BBB. I'll never book online again.
