I purchased a HP PSC 1500v All-in-one printer last fall. I now regret purchasing anything made by HP.

The paper either jams or won't feed at all. I purchased a 1310i HP printer about 2 years ago and it does the same thing, but nowhere near as often or as bad as the 1500v. I am glad I paid under $100 for each
of the printers.

I emailed HP tech dept., but as usual, it has been a waste of time. I was told to reset the printer to the factory settings. Who knows why? I didn't see the reason for it, but I did it anyway. It didn't help.
I was told to unplug the printer and then plug it back in and hold down 2 buttons. Again, I couldn't figure out what that was supposed to do with the paper jams, but again I did it anyway, and just as I thought,
it didn't help.

I was given a link to go to on HP's website to find out how to clean the rollers. Finally, something that made sense. It took me some time to access the link. Why I don't know. I cleaned the rollers just as
the directions told me to. I am still having the same problems.

HP now knows I am fed up with their JUNK! I received another email telling me I did not give them the correct serial number, so now the story is they can't help me any further until I give them the right
number. NO WHERE on the printer does it say 'serial number'. According to HP's website, the serial number is next to the bar code. The number I gave HP was the number next to the bar code. I have no
idea what they want. Maybe if the words 'serial number' were next to the numbers they want, I would be able to know exactly what the serial number is.

I emailed back, 'Take a long walk off a short pier.

I am done with anything manufactured by HP. I purchased a desktop that wasn't worth having. HP can't provide the tech support needed to repair it. I have a Compaq notebook manufactured by HP. HP hasn't
been able to get that fixed right over the past THREE YEARS. Plus, everytime I sent it to repari, it comes back with something else wrong with it. I have a HP digital camera, and so far, that is the only
thing that is working correctly. How long will last, who knows.

My sister-in-law has a HP computer and has had nothing but problems since she purchased it. At this point in time, her computer is not working at all and she is fed up with HP and their tech support.
Between work and school she no longer is able to spend HOURS on the phone with tech support trying to get her computer running.

Neither of us would recommend any HP products to anyone. Our experiences have not been good ones.

I purchased a HP LAserjet M1522nj. What a piece of junk. It constantly needs to be turned off and on. It never clear the scanner errors. It never works when you need to print. I spent two hours trying to get it to work. Tomorrow I will take it back and get a refund. No more HP junk for me. What a waste of money!

I have to say Ive had similar experience with their UK Phone support. I rang up with a problem with my laptop screen and after a hour of waiting got through. Talking to them (with great difficult as they were obviously offshored to India and I had difficulty making them understand or understanding them) they arranged to pick it up between 9-12 the next day, so I took a day of work. Next day no one arrived. I waited until 2ish in case of delays and finally rang. They had no record of my calling the previous day and hadn't arranged to pick it up. Again they arranged to pick it up the next day between 9-12. This time I got a srvice number. I again took a day off. Again nobody turned up. I rang again only to find that again, despite the service number I gave them, they had no record of my call again. I asked to speak to someone higher up, and got put through to customer services. The woman very dismissively said she had no idea what had happen, but would put in a complaint for me and arrange a technician to call to arrange, yet another pickup. She rather sacastically asked 'what I expected to be done'. After that nothing, no call, nothing. I dont think she put in my complaint or called a technician and my call is probably forgotten - great way of making sure you have no complaints.

To be fair their email support helped me out a year ago, and were more than helpful in sorting out drivers for me as I wanted to instal win2003 on my laptop for work. However, even they sem to have now changed and I now get we can't do anything about it and you have to call the UK support (phone) from them now.

I purchased an HP 7140 - All In One Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax for $500 a while back. The VERY FIRST TIME I had to change an ink (I believe it was the black ink), it would not recognize the next cartridge. Upon some up close detective work with a strong light, I was able to determine the problem was that a small retaining clip that was supposed to be held back by a spring, and the end of the spring was held by a TEENY TINY plastic nib - well guess what - that teeny tiny plastic nib broke off. This was about 8 months into it's lifetime. Well, after speaking with HP, they shipped me out a replacement unit. Of course, this one was refurbished. From what I understand they had a LOT of refurbished units laying around. This one worked but never printed as well as the first one. 5 months after I got this unit and, once again, the FIRST time I had to replace an ink, it would not recognize it. BUT, this time that little spring piece was still in place properly. After a great deal of diagnosing with HP, they came back and said that the main board in the printer was bad and I was out of luck because it was NOT within the warranty. I was furious. They sent me a refurbished piece of junk and it died.

Of course the ENTIRE time I was talking to idiots from India with half broken English, reading off of prepared scripts and unable/unwilling to do anything. I supposedly spoke to managers there, but they had the same broken English and said the exact same things.

I told them that I would make a vow to NEVER EVER EVER buy another piece of HP equipement, that I would plaster my experience all over EVERY internet board I could find and that I would make it my personal life goal to help save people from buying at least $500 million dollars worth of HP equipment. You know what - they just didn't care.

I tried sending an email to Mark Hurd - CEO of HP. I guess he doesn't care either. So - I have purchased my absolutely LAST PIECE OF HP JUNK i ever will purchase. Be warned - HP simply DOES NOT CARE about their customers. THEY MAKE JUNK - PURE JUNK. I looked hard at the first printer when it broke. I'm almost SURE that it was an accident that it broke the first time, but it sure looked like it was engineered to break after replacing it a few times. They probably try to make it last a bit longer than a year and then - sorry - your unit is dead.

I have an HP Laserjet 4000 from the late 1990's that I LOVE. I have printed approximately 25, 000 pages on it and it continues to print. I just recently installed my 3rd set of toner. This printer is heavy - there's LOTS of metal in it. Today, HP printers are FAR lighter than they ever were before - wonder why? PLASTIC - everything is plastic and it's made using the CHEAPEST methods possible - most likely in China.

My latest printer is a Canon PIXMA 860. It does EVERYTHING the HP did, but it is smaller, LESS THAN 1/3 the price (Paid $160 for it vs $500 for the HP). I love it. At least if IT dies, I can afford to buy another one, in fact, I could afford to buy TWO more and still have paid LESS than I paid for the HP !

Do yourself a favor - next time you look at an HP add - put it to good use - underneath the oil pain of your car so it can catch the drips and save your floor, or use it to train a puppy where to go - that's ALL it's good for!

Here is my case.

I bought this printer nearly 6 months ago. Printer had many serious issues from the beginning;
would not wake-up from sleep mode
PC and Printer would not communicate
Cant scan from printer to PC
Some color prints are distorted and pixelated

After months of talks with the tech support and a case manager, I asked for a full refund or exchange with a different model.

Case Manager's reply: Cant do it, use it as is.

I own a $400 printer that never properly worked, wasted my time, ink and paper.

This is isolated case and wish HP could have handled my dilemma better.

Shame on you HP !

I have an all-in-one printer that has worked great since I bought it about 5 years ago. I suspect there is a connection problem; however, if not, she should have taken it back or had it replaced. A printer is one appliance I buy the cheap replacement warranty for; have used it twice on other printers, but not this one. I would highly recommend HP, but if it doesn't perform as it should, take it back!

Won't print in B/W only. Have to buy colour cartridges even if you don't want them.

Won't take reused cartridges.

No way of contacting the company.

Scammers! I won't be buying from them again.

I bought my laptop three years ago. The battery finished and the customer service promised to supply a new battery in ten days time. It has been two months but still no result. I am from Turkey.

I bought a HP laptop in October 2016 and have had all kinds of issues with it with slow dead hard drives. I have left 30 tweets and 19 facebook messages for them but their service is completely and direly crappy. Absolutely disgusting treatment of their customers, and they should be looking into it.

We have had the printer for 2 years. It is the WORST printer we have had in 20 years. At the moment it has a continuous cartridge error, but the cartridges are originals. MOST of the time it just does not work.

It is going in the dustbin very soon.

I contacted HP about an INK cartridge issue. A rep asked to "TAKE OVER" my computer. That's what SCAMMERS do. I denied her access and called back immediately. A different rep diagnosed and resolved the issue w/o requesting such an invasive procedure.

I contacted HP support via phone after trying to understand their website to no avail. seems you must not have had a device expire. I asked to buy a recovery usb or disk . they won't help you. you must pay them before they will even talk to you.

This is the worst printer I have ever bought.

It constantly fails to print, churns out blank sheets frequently and to add to this HP promised me ink (which i have paid £3 per month for for ages) seven weeks ago and It still has not arrived, Despite speaking to one of your operators who promised me it was on it's way

Not impressed.
