the food wasn't good and the service sucked.
Me, my daughter and my husband went to Huddle House last night 3-5-2019. It was the worst service I have ever had when we got there we sat at the table for 20 minutes before the waitress came over to get what we wanted to drink Even though she walked past the table several times she would look at use and keep going they were not busy at all so that wasn't the problem. She just acted like she was to sorry to wait on us and just lazy. Then once she fixed our drinks she said do you need time we said no thinking we have been here for 20 minutes looking. We placed our order we finally got our order 20-30 minutes later well my husband and daughter got theirs I had to wait an extra 10 minutes because she said it was cooking. When she finally brought my food she was walking away I said can I please have some more to drink she said yeah. She didn't ask us if we wanted ketchup, mustard, mayo nothing. When my husband went to pay she didn't say anything to him not have a good night hope y'all come back nothing. And yes usually we leave a very good tip but she got nothing. our bill was $36.53 and it was a waste me, my daughter and husband was sick with a stomach ache. I tried attaching my receipt not sure if it is there but I still have it and saved on my computer and m y phone.

I have complained a few times. Doesn't seem to bother you. My friends were sitting in the resturant for 15 minutes waiting for us. We arrived and they were telling me, there was 8 tables of people that just got up and left. Was told it would be 45-60 minutes before they would get there food. While we sat and ordered our food. Took 30 minutes. I agree that...

We drive home, I open my order which was two plain hash browns and a side of bacon, the hash browns were burnt, I could literally pick them up and it was so hard it all just stuck together.. We were visiting this area for several days while on vacation and decided to eat at this huddle house over many other local eateries. Bad choice! At home, we are a frequent visitor to waffle house and altho we don't have any huddle houses, figured it would be comparable. We were soooo wrong. A sign out front said "grand re-opening" so we figured this should be a pretty clean place and from what we saw, it was. They were not very busy at all so everything should have been good. Not so! We gave our orders and sat for a while waiting. Other customers came in but we did notice that not much was happening at the grill. While watching the workers stand around talking, I was initially concerned because one worker had extremely long hair that was not tied back nor did it have any type of hairnet over it. My greatest fear was that, at worse, there would be a hair in our food. Thankfully this employee left so that didn't happen. As we continued to wait and wait, wondering who was suppose to be fixing our food, a new person came in and the original cook that was there left. The new cook went to the back for a few minutes and came back out and was standing around fiddling with a few things. She then looked up at the yellow tickets that were hanging up and grabbed one and was apparently confused and started to throw it away. At that time, one of the waitresses said she didn't think that one had been completed yet and she and another waitress was telling the cook they thought it was our order. (in our opinion, either the cook didn't know anything about her job or was on some heavy duty drugs). Not even a min or two later she sets plates of food up and the waitress brought them to us. I ordered a blt with cheese and hashbrowns with cheese. My hashbrowns were cold and almost burnt on the bottom and there was no cheese on my sandwich. I told the waitress, who took my plate behind the counter and then brought it back with two cold pieces of cheese on it. My husband ordered 2 eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns with jalapeños. He got his eggs and hashbrowns but no toast or bacon. His hashbrowns and jalapeños were absolutely soaking in grease and covered in black stuff as if either they were burnt or cooked on a really dirty grill. He asked if he could get a new order that was not burnt and his toast and bacon. His new hashbrowns came without the jalapeños and after he had eaten them and his eggs, he finally got the rest of his order. Upon checking out, we asked the waitress to make sure he didn't get charged for the jalapeños (since they were not on the second hashbrowns) and would it be possible for them to take off my hashbrowns since they were not fit to eat. She went away and then came back and said something was wrong with the system and she wasn't able to take them off. I then asked her to ask the manager for help which she did. This was just a simple meal that shouldn't have been such a fiasco. It is totally unprofessional for an employee to leave without finishing an order or at least notifying his replacement of what needed to be done. We definitely will not be eating at a huddle house again if this is the type of food and service offered.
management kim newton
I live in Trenton Georgia the Huddle House here is in need of closing down they close down almost an hour before closing time they complain they have no customers and when ppl come
They tell us they are closed they are to remain open till designated closing time just like all the other food places in Trenton and I have been turned away 3 times at 11:30 and they are supposed to stay open till 12 am I will tell everyone I know about this you need to move this place out if Trenton they are rude and I have seen the employees eat and not pay and leave cigarettes on the counter where they prepare food it's no wonder they don't have customers anymore I will do a petition to get your restaurant out of here the manager Kim Newton is a big problem you keep hiring her back
manager
I've been working at the huddle house for 2 and a half years I called out sick Saturday 12/29/18 night 5 hours in advanced and didn't go to work. The next morning 12/30/18 my manager Christy long texted me I was off the schedule and we had a heated argument through text and I put my 2 week notice in. So Monday at 1:45pm I went to the job and walked in and got my check before I walked off Christy walked up to me and got in my face snatching my check out my hand and stating you dont text me talking [censored] threatening to rip my check up and threw it at me and it landed on the ground. I picked my check up walked out and while I was getting in my van I saw Christy walking toward my van so I locked the doors and she banged on my passenger side window and told me to get out so she could whip my [censored] called me a pussy [censored] [censored] while shooting me birds. Managers don't act like that I don't care who you are. I felt mistreated and she banded me even though I didn't retaliate with her. I feel like she shouldn't even have that job. She don't deserve to be a manager after that happened. She cusses at her employees in front of customers she doesn't treat them right at all.
service and rude employee
Yesterday morning, 12-10-18, I took my daughter to breakfast at the Huddle House here in Corinth, MS around 7:30 A.M. There were probably about 15 customers. There were only two staff that I could see-both were cooking. The lady, Keyanna, who was cooking, came and took our order and we asked for decaf coffee, and she said it would be a few minutes, because she had to make some. No problem. She was nice and polite and very busy. About 30 minutes later, she brought our coffee and food. While we were finishing up eating, another employee came in, and immediately started taking food to other customers. Her name was Billie. She was complaining to the other staff, loudly, that two waitresses did not come in. Once, as she passed, I said M'aam, to ask for coffee, and she did not respond. No problem. A few minutes later, she passed by and said she would be with us in a minute. She never did come to our table. After another 20 minutes or so, I took the coffee cups to the counter to see if someone could pour some coffee, and Keyanna said the other server would be around with the coffee, so I went back to the table and waited. About 10 more minutes went by and Billie came to the table with two coffee pots, and I asked for the decaf. She said both of those pots were regular and that there was no decaf. I told her that Keyanna had made a pot earlier, and she said the regular was all they had.
I asked for my check, which she never brought, so I went to pay the bill, she told me the total and I told her that was incorrect, as I had given Keyanna 2 coupons when we ordered. Keyanna heard this, and verified that I had indeed given her the coupons. She redid the ticket and I gave her a $20.00 bill. When the drawer opened,
she yelled at Keyanna that there was no money in the drawer — I said Geeeeze. She said, what did you say? She got my change and I asked for a receipt, which seemed to annoy her. I was annoyed too, by then, I got the receipt and left. Billie was extremely rude, and not helpful at all. She was horrible. If she likes being a server, I feel she needs some training in being a good waitress, and would benefit from having a better attitude, and a little more patience.
service and food
The food in cochran takes an hour to get and is always cold and soggy (gross). The food there coast way to much to waste. The manager is loud and rude. Eats eggs while she cooks. I just left. If I tell all my friends on facebook... Most will stop going. Her and her boyfriend, lover, whatever need to cool it at work. He goes by peanut. She screams at the other workers in front of all the customers. Really? She is a bully? Must I go on? You need to send in a ghost shopper! Please do something before everyone stops going. Thank you for your time! Suzanne

gender discrimination against naacp member
I have a member (Ronald Billings) that has recently been hired by the Huddle House in Waynesville, NC for the second time. The first time he left employment of the business was done with a proper notice. Ronald is gay black male and the hiring manager was well aware of his sexuality when he was hired. Read full review of Huddle Housetip added to my to go order
I placed an online order for Huddle House picked up my order and signed my receipt. When I was checking my bank account the amount that cleared was higher then my bill total by $5. I did not add a tip because it was a to go order. And to top it all off my food was cold when I picked it up. I'm not sure if a restaurant can add a tip to a to go order, but that is what happened here.
food/customer service
So my family and I decided to go to Huddle House tonight (wanted some breakfast). It started off fairly well. But then.. she brought out our pancakes first.. my husband plate looked like it had some uncooked egg in his plate.. while he was trying to figure our what it was the waitress came back and was like.. yea I saw that and took his plate.. when she brought it back of course pancake was cold.. my daughter ordered the philly sandwich.. she had hair inside her sandwich so I told waitress.. she let cook know and he proceeds to stare that it wasn't his hair or some other person's (like it might've been ours but it was long and blonde and we are African American).. by the time I got rest of my MVP my pancake was gone. Husband ordered for his hashbrowns to be crispy (they were extra soft). My husband was over it after the hair and was ready to go.. soo we informed waitress that we didn't want them to remake anything.. she said she had to get her manager to come talk to us.. he never did.. sent her to tell us that he would take just the philly off our bill.. so only thing we ate was my pancake (the toddler ate some eggs) and we had to pay $15. When my husband tried to explain to waitress our reasons for not finishing our food.. she explained that it wasn't fault and she had a lot of tables and was getting short with him.. so he just stopped talking and walked out.
service. racist manager.
I been working at this huddle house in McDonough for about 6 months. I've put up with a lot of drama and racist acts. The manager Mike Ripley does a piss poor job of running this company. I often times feel as if I'm singled out to be a little black slave boy. The way they order me around and ask me to go and grab something from the back or to drop something on the grill. I work my [censored] off and I'm a good worker. I'm completely tired and upset with the way I have been treated. Honestly if something does not change I'm willing to go to a lawyer and press charges. It is no reason why I should have to come to work in a toxic environment as this one. Something must change in my option... they need new management and a more diverse group of color in here. This place is racist the people are racist and more importantly the service is down right ridiculous. If I were to grade them on customer service it would definitely be a F. I reached out to people at the job but it seems as if no one cares. I have had enough and I'm emotional stressed and done with how things are conducted here at 350 keys ferry street McDonough ga.
hair in food
On a previous visit and on today's visit I found hair in my food. The location at 3887 Centerville Rosebud Road in Snellville usually has good food and decent service but the workers do not wear gloves or hair nets. This is very concerning for obvious reasons. Please advise on what will be done about this matter. The cleanliness of the restaurant is of high importance.
staff /nastiest
I have visited the huddle house in Roanoke Alabama so many times each time I come in the workers never wash. Hands. Don't wear hair nets. Floors always dirty food never cooked right. They still are smoking in the back area when the managers are there even the managers are smoking . They allow customers to go back and get drinks. This place should be shut down or under new management
under-cooked/ over-cooked food
My name is Tiara and my friend, her son and I visited the Huddle House here in Columbus, MS at 2009 Military Road on 11/05/2018 and we waited almost 35 mins on our food, so when we finally got it the stuffed hashbrown was undercooked so that I couldn't eat it and the bacon cheeseburger was to overcooked. Following the situation the waitress (Tramesha) was very rude as well as the cook (Shaun) I don't know her real name but they call her Shaun. They were doing alot of whispering and giggling about the situation so instead of me causing a scene and going off, we just left and went somewhere else. I think that's very unprofessional and I will never eat there again because of those 2 employees that you'll have as long as they work there. Thanks in Advance...

This familey is destroying this business from inside not following any rules regulations. etc.

service, waitress
HH in Wise, VA 11/1/18. Our waitress was rude, took our order went out to smoke, returned without washing her hands. Went back out brought her baby in and carried him on her hip all over the food prep/grill area. Touched and brought our food still without washing her hands and handling baby. Offered no refills, etc. This is small town and repeat business is necessary for success. We won't be visiting again.
