Huntington Bank jessica a peterson treating customers poorly

When going to the bank I should not be interrogated as to what I will be doing with my money or questioned as if I'm on trial! no one should have to go to the bank and be subjected to being treated like they are unworthy of taking out money that it already hers. If I can't take out money for a simple remodel on my home I can bank elsewhere.

Also the fact that she had the nerve to say that she was the branch manager as if that made it ok for her to treat me in such a way is disgusting.

Huntington Bank tv commercial

The scene is a neighborhood. A Huntington employee comes out of her house and talks to her neighbor (someone from a competitive bank) who is dressed up as a lawn ornament in order to hide from customers because his bank does not treat them fairly. At the end of their conversation, a child passing by shouts to the man in costume, "Nobody likes you!"

This is a common comment made by bullies! I have tried to teach children for 25 years not to be a bully and use bullying tactics. Unfortunately in today's society, bullying has become a very serious issue, even to the point of causing suicide by our young people. And you, Huntington Bank, make a "joke" of someone bullying another in a TV commercial that is shown over and over. It just about makes me ill to hear it.

I am, in a business sense, a very satisfied Huntington customer. Your employees have always been very courteous, friendly and helpful. I am, however, extremely disappointed in your commercial that in effect, condones bullying. Shame on you! You can do better.

Huntington Bank drive up atm

On July 22, 2017 I went to the bank located at address, 1 E Main St West Jefferson, OH 43162 to withdrawal cash from the drive up ATM due to it being after hours at the bank. That location closes at 2pm on Saturdays and I stopped at the ATM at 3pm. I inserted my card and the ATM read, "Cash withdrawal is unavailable at this time" and spit my card back out. The next morning, on July 23, 2017, I had the same experience. This is a recurring issue with this ATM and it occurs during business hours of the bank. This is an issue because from 3pm on Saturday until Monday morning at 9am, I was not able to take any money out of my bank account unless I drove to another bank in another town.

Huntington Bank fraud

Social Security information was stolen from the US government in 2015 (OPM -Office Of Personnel Management breach)
The US government provided affected personnel with ID monitoring services. On December 27, 2016 the service reported to
me that a business bank account was opened in my name on December 23, 2016 at the Huntington Bank in Columbus
Ohio. I did not open any accounts at this bank and have never been to its location. I contacted the bank on Wednesday
December 28th to investigate. I spoke with Ms. Marianne Piazza a bank account manager. Her contact information is email:
marianne.[protected]@huntington.com and her direct phone number is: [protected]. I had to send her a scanned copy of my
social security card and current drivers license. On a phone call to one of Huntington's call centers, I was told that a commercial credit card was associated this account as well. I have contacted Huntington Bank multiple times about this but still this account remains open and Huntington bank has been less than helpful in resolving this issue. Marianne Piazza has not returned multiple messages I have left on her voice mail.

My daytime phone number is [protected].

Huntington Bank counterfeit money

I received a counterfeit $20 from Huntington Bank in Minerva OH which was in money I went straight to another bank to deposit within a 5 minute period. The other bank discovered the $20 in the money and confiscated it to give to the police. I then went back to Huntington to see about getting a real $20 to replace what they gave me but was told they couldn't do anything but make a report to the higher ups because in the short amount of time it took me to go next door and deposit it, I could have gotten the bill somewhere else. They could not be sure it was received from them. I even had the time stamped receipt from both banks. Really bad when a bank gives out counterfeit or that they didn't know they had counterfeit in there bank. And they cannot stand behind their dealings.

Huntington Bank checking account

I deposited a check on a Friday afternoon for $2, 500. I checked on my bank app later in the evening to see when it would clear. The deposit indicated pending wth no available date .I have deposited checks from $3, 000-$12, 000 into this account and everything was available the next business day or a partial hold for 2 days. So I called customer service Saturday and asked what was wrong with the deposit. I was told the check that was written to me may not clear and that's why a 7 day hold was placed on it. I said this makes no sense because you released $500 of it today. So she called the hold department to investigate. I was then told to call back on Wednesday and they would release the funds if they hadn't been released by then. The remaining funds weren't there on Wednesday so I called customer service. Spoke to a supervisor (Bill) and he explained the check hasn't been verified and they don't have communication with this particular bank (S&T) the check was issued from. They need additional time to verify it. There was nothing he could do about the situation. I would have to wait 7 business days (Actutally 11 days total) before the funds would be available. Still unsatisfied and slightly confused by two conflicting stories I met with the person who issued me the check. He showed me his online account and the check was deducted from his account the day after I deposited (Saturday). So we called S&T to find out that the check cleared (already knew this) they did verify the check with Huntington Bank and the transaction was complete on their end. So I called Huntington Customer service once again and asked why there was a hold on the check. Only to find out this time they suspect the check to be fraudulent. Three different stories for the hold. I'm very irritated now because I know the check cleared and they have the funds. I try explaining to the supervisor that I talked to S&T Bank but she kept putting me on hold for no reason. I asked why I was being put on hold she said I'm not putting you on hold. Happened 4 times. So I explained that I called S&T they verified the check and the funds where released. I would like an answer as to why I have had different "stories" for the check hold. So she said hold on let me call the hold department. Forgets to put me on hold and proceeds to tell someone he should be lucky we releasing it at all keep calling here like that. So I interrupted and confronted her about what she said and how she didn't call the hold department. She kept saying I being real wit you, ain't nobody else being real wit you. Obviously she was lying and this was a huge waste of time. This bank is awful, their customer service is equivalent. Ironically they called me and asked if I wanted to switch my business account to them. With a rude customer service that lies at will. Who in their right mind would bank with them.

Huntington Bank business checking and debit

We were loyal First Merit Bank Customers. WE have been hugely disappointed with the product and services of Huntington Bank. In April we had charges against our business account for overdraft. This never occurred with First Merit. We have both business and personal accounts. After an hour on the phone we were able to get these charges reversed. WE then set up to be called or texted when we are in this situation again as we can transfer in minutes. I know that you advertise the 24 hour grace period. Once again no call and I am charged. This is wrong that you do not follow the policies that you advertise for. We are going to have to now find another bank as you can not follow through on your promises. I am filing also with the better business bureau.

Huntington Bank automobile loan

In December, I submitted the "Skip a payment" form. Today, I received a call, at work, for being "delinquent" on my loan. I have now submitted an additional payment for this loan simply so I never have to speak to one of your agents again. Your agent was rude and, basically, let me know that she considers me to be a liar. I will pay this loan off as soon as humanly possible so that I never have to deal with someone like that again. I am disgusted with any business who employs people such as this woman and I will be sure to make sure everyone I know is aware of the type of people employed by Huntington Bank.

Thank You, for posting this. Huntington Bank checking overdraft fees

Huntington Bank advertises 24 hour grace and then pulls string to reneg on that offer. I had 4 pending bills that qualified for the 24 hour grace. I went to the bank ATM well before the midnight cut-off to deposit the required amount to cover the bills. I deposited part cash and part check. In spite of never having held any of the approximately 200 checks I deposited previously, they decided to put a 2 day hold on an $87 check I deposited that night. They also refused to credit any of the cash deposit towards the bills. The result was $150 of overdraft fees. The bank manager tried to tell me that the 24 hour grace period starts when you swipe the card, not when it hits the bank and you are sent the notice. The notice on my computer and the text message sent by Huntington on my phone both state the 24 hour notice starts at the time it clears your bank and the notice is generated. This bank, and specifically this branch, West Carmel, Indiana, is dishonest. They use promises to lure you in and then refuse to honor their promises. Very disappointing.

Huntington Bank billing issues

Since February 2017 (their merger), my payments were due at the exact time as their merger, which could have been the start of this mess, but I'm not certain. Their automated system will not acknowledge that I've been paying my loans on time. The first month (March), I received a statement EVERY DAY for loans I already paid and each day the late fees and the bills themselves would double and triple the amount owed (which is pretty impossible considering even if the bill was a week late, of which it was not) it could not triple! I've tried everything I can think of to get them to acknowledge I've paid. I have the receipts!

I've contacted the local branch manager and she's been helpful, but I think the problem is an internal issue with the separate mortgage division. Ugh.

I have the bank statements that prove they've withdrawn the money! I've gone and physically paid at the local branch office, I've spoke to the branch manager a few times, I've written letters to the main company via their mortgage issue address. I get multiple automated phone calls but can't get a real person when I try to return the call, and no one will clear up this ***! All of this is their fault, and I can't for the life of me understand why their system is so unable to deal with a merger?

I'm tried paying every way imaginable, even as to go as far as opening a new account with a completely different bank and using money from another bank to transfer to them, as they clearly can't handle a Huntington Bank loan via Huntington Bank money, and they don't acknowledge that I've paid (it's not applied to my accounts)! Again, everything came back fine, in that the money went through. I guess my payments are being lost in some Huntington Bank vortex, that no one will fix. This problem should not be continuing on for so long. (I'm still fighting with this over my June payments!)

So, to sum it up, Huntington Bank is taking my payment money but not applying or acknowledging that they are, even though I have the receipts.

Please tell me I'm not the only one suffering through this headache?

Huntington Bank dispute resolution

A year ago I moved to Pennsylvania and was looking for a new bank. Since Huntington has a location in the town I moved to I decided to go with them. I had an accountant that was supposed to be taking care of my bank statements, but apparently was not. Over the last year I have made tons of purchases through Google play and recently discovered that $31, 115.45 in charges that were not mine. These charges started in May 2016 and suddenly stopped in December 2016. I contacted Google and was advised that I would have to dispute the charges with my bank. So, I spent an entire day printing out bank statements for that time period, going through my Google purchases, and matching my purchases with those from my bank account. I have waited three days for a response from Huntington only to be told that any activity older than 60 days they will not dispute. I am at a total loss! I have never had a bank that was not on the side of their customer. Rather than attempting to help me resolve this matter, the customer service representative wanted to lecture me about balancing my bank statements regardless of who was supposed to be handling them. The representative told me I would have to sue Google to get my money back and that the bank would not help, even though the evidence was in black and white. I am appalled at the lack of concern when it comes to personal accounts with this bank. I do not have the money to hire an attorney to get this money back. I am going to pull my money from this bank and take my business elsewhere. I have friends that have commercial accounts that will be closing their accounts and moving elsewhere as well.

Thanks for nothing Huntington Bank!

Huntington Bank holding money due to "not a typical amount of deposit to my account"

First of all, I have been a Huntington customer for 27 years. I consider myself a good customer; recently paying off a $25, 000 line of credit after selling my home ~ as an example. I received a check from New York Life/AARP as the beneficiary of my brother's life insurance on 4/14/17 (my brother was also a long time customer of Huntington). I deposited the check on 4/14/17, and was sent a notice via email that same day that the deposit was put on hold, with no reason why. The notice did go on to say that the bank would be contacting me in the next few days with more detail about the hold and when I could expect the hold to be released. As of today, I have received no word from them. I tried to respond to the message, only to receive another message saying that the mailbox was "not monitored, " and that I needed to call customer service. I did so this morning, and although the representative was empathetic and put me on hold to call to find out the reason for the hold, I was told that the reason the check was held was due to the amount ~ which was around $7, 500 ~ not a great sum of money in my opinion. The worst of it is she didn't know why I was not contacted with the details, even though the bank said they would contact me, and that the money will not be released until April 24th. I am very disappointed in my bank. I even asked if there was someone else I could speak with to express my disappointment and concerns, and she said no, just the branch manager. I needed to pay my brother's funeral expenses by April 20th, since I paid them by using my Discover Card. I had to call Discover, who were very helpful in extending the date due without penalty, which is more attentive customer service than I received from my own bank. I feels to me that Huntington Bank has become so large that they are not looking out for little guy.

Huntington Bank customer service representative

I was speaking with a bank representative, and I was trying to figure out how to open a savings account and or another checking so that I don't get another fee while I'm in the hospital, and I was trying to figure out how to do that, and she was getting frustrated as I don't really understand what I had to do and she called me stupid and then she hung up on me.

I was just trying to figure out what I needed to do because I was hospitalized and I'll be hospitalized again because of my illness and I didn't want 4 fees applied to my account in 1 day. I understood why I got the fees I just wanted to figure out something to do in order to prevent that from happening again. I didn't appreciate being called stupid and then hung up on.

Huntington Bank online banking security questions

I contacted customer service at the bank via phone call because my security questions that I entered would not be accepted, although I knew they were the right answers. The problems seemed to be corrected with the customer service representative who helped me log back in with the same questions, reviewing them to make sure my answers were correct, and they were. Today, I try to log back in with the same security questions and it will not let me in again and tells me that the security answer is wrong, but I know it is not. It is important for me to know how Huntington has logged my security questions, or to let me change my questions. I am locked out of my own account. I need immediate assistance now or I will be closing my account. This makes twice and it is very frustrating as a customer!

Huntington Bank opt-in overdraft fees cannot be assessed unless opted-in

I was charged overdraft fees for a one time atm transaction but did not opt-in for overdraft protection with huntington bank. Below see opting-in/fee rules beginning in 2010. Have you been charged a fee you should not have been by huntington bank? As i'm reading the rule unless you knowingly and willingly opted-in for overdraft protection no fee can be charged, see below. If you interpret the rule differently than explain. I had 3 separate incidents/problems with huntington bank including going into my credit report without permission to issue me a credit card never requested which carries a mandatory fine paid to the consumer. I do have a consumer rights attorney who has taken my case. If you had a problem of any kind regarding a huntington bank account contact me at [protected]@gmail.com

Source. https://www.consumerfinance.gov/eregulations/1005-17/2013-06861#1005-17-a-1

Official interpretation to 17 (A) show
Opt-in requirement.
General.
Except as provided under paragraph (C) of this section, a financial institution holding a consumer's account shall not assess a fee or charge on a consumer's account for paying an atm or one-time debit card transaction pursuant to the institution's overdraft service, unless the institution:

Provides the consumer with a notice in writing, or if the consumer agrees, electronically, segregated from all other information, describing the institution's overdraft service;

Provides a reasonable opportunity for the consumer to affirmatively consent, or opt in, to the service for atm and one-time debit card transactions;

Obtains the consumer's affirmative consent, or opt-in, to the institution's payment of atm or one-time debit card transactions; and

Provides the consumer with confirmation of the consumer's consent in writing, or if the consumer agrees, electronically, which includes a statement informing the consumer of the right to revoke such consent.

Iv. Application of fee prohibition. The prohibition on assessing overdraft fees under § 1005.17 (B) (1) applies to all institutions. For example, the prohibition applies to an institution that has a policy and practice of declining to authorize and pay any atm or one-time debit card transactions when the institution has a reasonable belief at the time of the authorization request that the consumer does not have sufficient funds available to cover the transaction. (However, the institution is not required to comply with §§ 1005.17 (B) (1) (I) — (Iv), including the notice and opt-in requirements, if it does not assess overdraft fees for paying atm or one-time debit card transactions that overdraw the consumer's account). Assume an institution does not provide an opt-in notice, but authorizes an atm or one-time debit card transaction on the reasonable belief that the consumer has sufficient funds in the account to cover the transaction. If, at settlement, the consumer has insufficient funds in the account (For example, due to intervening transactions that post to the consumer's account), the institution is not permitted to assess an overdraft fee or charge for paying that transaction.

2. No affirmative consent. (A financial institution may pay overdrafts for atm and one-time debit card transactions even if a consumer has not affirmatively consented or opted in to the institution's overdraft service. If the institution pays such an overdraft without the consumer's affirmative consent, however, it may not impose a fee or charge for doing so). These provisions do not limit the institution's ability to debit the consumer's account for the amount overdrawn if the institution is permitted to do so under applicable law.

Huntington Bank credit card dispute

I have been trying to resolve a Credit Card Dispute with Huntington Banks since November 2016.

11/18/2016 @ 10:02 I purchased 2 Garth Brooks tickets from Ticketmaster. In the process, their website blinked on and off 2-3 different times. When I reviewed my tickets, I discovered that the tickets were on the same day as the purchase, 11/18/2016, for a location over 7 hours from my home. It was either NC or SC, I live in Northern Ky.

I immediately contacted Ticketmaster and explained to them that something had happened on their website and my purchase had defaulted to the most current location over 7 hours from my home. I was told that the event was highly restricted (whatever that means) and no refunds or exchanges. Please see the attachment for the complete conversation, hold time, etc all happened within 15 minutes of the wrong tickets being placed on my account. Also, please note, I am very familiar with the Ticketmaster website, therefore, the error wasn't on my behalf.

Once getting off the internet with Ticketmaster, I contacted Huntington Banks and started the dispute of this Unauthorized Charge (due to location). Furthermore, Ticketmaster can see the tickets were not accessed for this location.

Towards the end of December, I received a notice from Huntington Banks requesting my supporting documents and a written statement.

In January, I followed up with a phone call to Huntington. At that time, the representative told me that support had been received and would be investigated.

At the end of January, 3 times in February and the first of March I contacted Huntington again and was told (every time) that the case was "pending".

Middle of March, 75 minutes on a "wait line"...demanding to talk to a manager 6 times, I was told that the case was closed in January. I was told that I had "misunderstood" the numerous times before that an "inquiry and closed" isn't the same thing! At this time, the representative stated she would call me back in 3 days after she spoke to another manager. I am still awaiting the phone call.

I have been with Huntington Banks for over 30 years and have never received such awful customer service.

I want this dispute opened back up and I want my money back for something that wasn't my fault. I am ready to close every account that I have (as the phone representative said, do what you have to) is just unreal to me.

Huntington Bank attempting to close an account due to huntington/first merit fee frenzy

I have been attempting to close this account since December, due to their fee frenzy. I was under the impression that I had moved all of my existing services to my current bank. Apparently 1 didn’t make the site correction, Netflix, and 1 just chose to up me for their annual subscription w/o my permission.

I was under the impression this account was closed/ inactive; I had gone on my account web page and sent a message to close it. I get a bill in for over $150, and I go in and speak w/ them. Initially the bank manager attempted to convince me these were legitimate charges. It is also apparent that Huntington’s’ Bank policy is to honor every ACH/Debit request whether or not there is money in the account and then they get to charge you their exorbitant fees (multiple times if the request is resubmitted). Ultimately, I got the vendor on the phone, in the Managers office who agreed that the charge was not legitimate and it would be reversed. At this point I attempted to close the account and was told by the manager that she couldn’t until that charge was reversed. I wrote a check for the existing balanced and was told by the manager that the account was going to be marked “no further debits or withdrawals from this account.” That was last month. This month, over $40 in fees again. Apparently, another former vendor attempted to withdraw a subscription payment. I have no control over this. It seems that Huntington Bank policy is to accept any charge made against your account, regardless of whether there are funds or not, and charge you an overdraft fee.

I called the 800 corporate numbers, online, and spoke with both a Megan and a Vanessa, both initially attempted to convince me this was acceptable, and when I told them what the local branch manager had done, was told “I don’t know why she would do that…” When I asked if that means the manager is incompetent…I was told to “watch my tone…” and “your problem is with First Merit Bank… ” I am not certain, but how does one go about an error correction with a business that has been purchased? My experience, in business, usually indicates that when you purchase a business’ assets-you also purchase their liabilities. Ultimately after both of these individuals realized that I wasn’t accepting their flimsy responses, I was told “ Don’t like it…don’t pay it…we will turn you over to collection”

I, of course, will pay this; rather than jeopardize my credit, but it is my intention to file this complaint with the MI banking regulation authorizes, better business bureau, and any site that allows reviews of business (especially financial sites). This is the poorest excuse for customer service, I have seen yet… and they must get away with it. What alternative would a consumer have against them?

This same type of thing is happening to me since the First Merit/Huntington merger. I've never had a late or missing mortgage payment in my life until Huntington claims I do! (and then Huntington goes and steals my mortgage payments even though I've got the statements and receipts that prove otherwise!) Huntington is giving me the run around (even though I've got receipts) claiming I missed a mortgage payment on 2 separate loans due to "insufficient funds" which is a lie. The money was there. They took it even. I've been trying since that merger (February/March 2017) to clear it up. It's pretty impossible to get anyone to help me. Ugh (I have the complaint posted on this site, and other places). I honestly don't know what to do. Huntington has stolen my mortgage payments. (By the way, they have a sort of lost money department and supposedly it could be there, they say, but no one ever found it yet, supposedly, or if they had they never informed me and continue on with their games).

Hi to the poster of this complaint along with anyone who was not treated as you should be by HUNTINGTON BANK, I read your post and clearly the bank is playing games with you in order to extort money from you. I have 3 seperate issues with Huntington and found a consumer rights attorney who agreed to take the case. I have done 8 or more months of research on Huntington and banking rules and laws. Im not sure that I understand all the details however I have read posts and talked with people who tried to close their acct but even after they think its closed if a vender/company who you had auto pay with Huntington reopens the acct and pays the transaction in order to produce overdraft fees. The stories iv read and heard are outrageous banks seem to no longer be in the banking business but in the business of producing as many fees as possible and fees on top of fees its complete madness. I found a consumer rights attorney willing to take my case on a contingency bases which means he sees a case. Before even looking for an attorney I collected as much documentation and evidence I could by corresponding with the bank over and over again the the BBB and basically collecting lies and evidence so they couldn't wiggle their way out. I also filed complaints with the Financial consumer protection bureau and the office of the comptroller or OCC for the sole purpose of gathering evidence and documentation. I bothered the hell out of Huntington whoever was handling my complaints was both easy to bait and became frustrated but provided me with a thick file of lies and denials many are conflicting i dont know why Huntington would allow a person like this to handle these matters I suspect that most people back off however i'm not most people. Iv been in business for 35 years and have never had a complaint of any kind because I understand how to treat people especially costumers. What i'm trying to do is not only about me its about thousands or tens of thousands of people who have been lied to taken their hard earned money by a greedy bank who will stoop to the lowest levels to get money and its typically from the people who need it the most, this bank is literally taking the food out of peoples mouths due to greed. I honestly have no idea if I can make a difference or not but i'm 55 yrs old and i feel like i would like to do something to help others for the sole purpose of helping others. Im a very upfront person however its never my intention to insult anyone in anyway so assuming you even read this message do you have any intrest in getting money back it seems you shouldn't of paid and possibly bringing something to the table that may or maynot help others? Im not an attorney but the attorney who is helping me works for a large firm in Chicago and of course what they would really love is a class action suit. What i would really love is to F##k the hell out of Huntington bank. I have read hundreds of complaints by people about huntington there are literally thousands or more likely tens of thousands i'm just a extraordinary ordinary person just like you but i need to try to do something. If you have any intrest in getting help and maybe helping others my email address is arandell8725@gmail.com also i created a facebook page that has videos about our crooked and crazy banking system plus complaints posted from diferent places including about 4000 pages on Huntington alone from the CFPB site. This should be the URL https://www.facebook.com/Bankwellsfargo/ and the name of the page is (Bank Complaints and Opinions. Former Employees Welcome). Frankly they took advantage of you and they knew it. You may just want to let it go which is certainly your choice or you can contact me if you would like, no promises about anything in life but read some of the complaints and see how you feel.

I realize the transition from FirstMerit to Huntington was difficult for so many people; as a small business owner, I found it to be a tremendous burden on me and my company to not have access to my online banking for such an extended period of time. I called, waited on hold for hours at a time and finally went into the branch location near my business and was told to speak to Jim Cassara (sp?). I explained my inability to log on and see all three accounts, provided the information he needed and, after he said he had a direct line to the help desk, I felt hopeful. Still, after a considerable wait, he couldn't reach anyone and possibly dialed the same number I did. He took down my info and I waited and waited and waited for a call back. Over a week went by and nothing. Forced to finally spend more valuable time on hold, I reached a brilliant young man named Andrew who solved the problem! Still no call from Jim so when I saw him at the bank yesterday I told him what I thought of him. He sucks and he is a WASTED Huntington paycheck for sure. Offer more service to customers through competent staff and it will go a long way. Soon, I plan to move my money elsewhere. Thank you.

Huntington Bank notice of hold / customer service

So I recently moved to Ohio from another state, and was in a car crash my first week. I received a settlement check, but my bank does not have locations here. I decided I would try to open a Huntington account because there was a bank by my work. I went in on my lunch break, explained to my banker that I only have my rental car until the end of the week (it was a Tuesday) and I needed to create an account so I could buy a car that weekend. The banker said sense the checks I was depositing were not personal, the funds should be available in 1-2 days. Fast forward to Saturday (the day after I had to drop off the rental car) I receive a letter stating about $1, 000 was going to be on hold until the next week because it's a new account. Normally I would understand something like this, but I directly told the banker I needed these funds by the weekend so I could have transportation to work the next week. The letter that was sent told me to call [protected]. I called explained the situation and the first person I spoke too would not even go into my account. I was just told there's nothing they could do and got the standards can I help you with anything else. I asked to speak to the supervisor, then I retold the supervisor the story emphasizing that I needed the funds to purchase a car because I was currently without transportation, the branch I opened the account at with is an hour away, and that I was told by the banker that these funds would be available this weekend. The supervisor told me to go back to the branch. I reiterated that it was an hour away and I don't have a vehicle, and she repeated I would have to go back to that branch (which turns out is closed on weekends) so when I asked if I Uber out there what can they do for me, she rudely informed me that "they can tell you why they said that" when I brought up the why doesn't matter, Huntington told me something, so Huntington needs to resolve it the SUPERVISOR informed me "oh I don't actually work for Huntington they contract with us, and I wasn't there". And then told me the only thing she could to was transfer me to the local branch. I asked her to call for me and I could wait on hold, she repeated she could transfer me. So I asked if she was just trying to get me off the phone, I was met with silence until I hung up. I immediately went on google to look up the branches number, and I was met with the information "closed now"... not only was the conversation unprofessional (I still can't get over the "they contract us" you obviously don't care about your brand if that's who you contract) but the entire solution was going to be cold transfer me to a dead line... I can't say for sure what I'm going to do about the car, but I can say the second those funds are available that account is getting closed.

Huntington Bank unprofessional behavior, poor customer services & zero follow-up

On February 3, 2017 I pulled into the drive through a Redford, MI Huntington Bank, due to the parking lot was full and street parking was unavailable. However, I have a personal and business account for my employer. The new teller supervisor was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional in speaking to me. It really bother me as she insinuated due to me having a commercial account I had to come inside for common courtesy. She was loud and said I held her line up, even before I waited over fifteen minutes before getting to her window. I simply referred her to their stated rules outside of the drive through window. This teller supervisor Lisa continued to try to argue with me to get her point across as I was her child. In addition to no response after speaking directly to the manager the same day. The manager was apologetic and promised to look into the situation now almost a month ago. I am truly disappointed to Huntington Bank allowing their staff to represent them in this manner and poor customer service training to their employee in charge.
All I wanted was a simply apology and the teller supervisor to understand customers truly comes first. Also, to take a course or two on proper customer services and learn their own rules Huntington Bank displays!
