Deposit not showing
I have been waiting since the 4th of October for a completed deposit transaction to show in my account. Its almost a thousand dollars. You cant reach anyone on the phone and if I request someone to call me, the earliest scheduled time is 2.5 days away. My local Huntington closed last month. I am hearing a lot of complaints reference frozen accounts and people not being able to access funds. I have bills to pay!

My account was frozen for suspected fraudulent activity. NOTHING fraudulent was done, and to this date, I have STILL had no answers, no resolution & am in able to pay my cash on demand because I have no access to my account. I've made numerous calls, and even went to a branch office. No resolution.. no solid answers. I'm truly thinking they shut me down because my ssi (just 794 a month) doesn't matter. I've been a customer for about 5 years, without a single issue. Yet no on on this company values my business.
Desired outcome: Fix my account and some major apologies for screwing with it, as well as fixing my credit report for making my payments late!!

Help please! I need a lien release on my 2017 lexus rx350
I traded my car in on July 16th only to find out I still had a lean on my title here in KY even though I paid off the car in 2019. I called the loan department on 7/16/21 to request a lien release and was told I could only get it by mail and that it would take 10 business days. In the meantime, my dealership has my car and cannot sell it until I give them a clear title. I wait the 10 days and start looking in the mailbox everyday and after 3 weeks it doesn't show up so I call the loan department and they say they'll check on it and discuss my situation with process person and try to move it along and to call back in two days for an update. I call back in two days and now the guy tells me I just put in my request two days ago and it will take 10 business days. I request to speak with someone else and he says there is not one else to talk to and that I can file a complaint if I wish. I say yes please file a complaint then I have to ask him what will happen next and he says someone will contact you, which no one has as of this morning. I will say one good thing is that your call back system works great and I do appreciate not having to sit on hold.

money market account interest rate

my wife and I had a large CD maturing so we called our local branch in Livonia, MI and spoke with Angela Smith on Aug. 4, 2021 and asked her what the new CD rates were. she said it would be better to move the money to a money market relationship account because it was paying .35% for the first 90 days. so we made an appointment which lasted well over an hour and we opened a money market account for a large amount of money because of the interest rate. She reiterated the rate at .35% for the 90 days and that it would change. As of today, Aug, 9, 2021, we found out that she made and error and the money market account is only paying .05% and she admitted she didn't check the rates while we were there. We had told her we have another CD maturing at TCF bank that we would also bring to Huntington next week and add it to the new money market account. I am totally dissatisfied with the explanation of how this could have happened and that we spent well over an hour to get a horrible rate we can get anywhere. We are very unhappy with the performance of Huntington Bank and if this is any indication of how our accounts will be handled with the TCF merger than we will be leaving both banks immediately. There is no excuse for this. When I questioned Angela about this she said we can open a checking account to get $500.00. We are not interested in opening another checking account! This is ridiculous and handled very unprofessionally.

Power of attorney
I have any immediate need to get my mom's bank statements for Medicare. I had an attorney get me together of a a power of attorney so I can do this. Katrina at the Stow branch refuses to accept it. My attorney says that they have done this for 20 years and never have had this problem before over such Petty reasons. Ridiculous
Fraudulent charge dispute
I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card and I reported it to Huntington Bank, they reversed the charge immediately now a month later they took the money back because I did not provide proof of the fraudulent charge. Huntington never asked me for my original bill or statement because they could see the fraudulent charge on my account. So now not only was a charge made that was fraudulent on my account, I'm out of that money since it was basically a
one month loan from Huntington! I'm seriously considering closing my account. Who has time for this b.s.?
Customer service
Terrible banking institute. I have to place daily calls several times a day just to try and get someone to return a call.
I have a SBA loan with them and they have a lien on all my vehicles. I was told I cannot get a release of the title for 4 to 5 weeks. That's it. I cannot elevate the situation.
I now have a 8 passenger vehicle sitting with no plates and being insured at a commercial rate which is more then my SBA loan.
There is absolutely no customer service with them nor compassion of a situation.
I would never send anyone to them.
Account Hold
My husband and I sold a home (that was in my father in law name). I Monet Smith had POA to this house. After Closing, Yes I did deposit the check without a signature and of course I was waiting for the to hold the check because it's a large amount.
Immediately, I provided Huntington with the POA and my father in law came into the bank to sign the affidavit to release my account hold. The banker notarized it and sent to over to the fraud department. I was advised on that day July 8 that my funds will be released by end of business no later then 12 hours from noon that day. Well on the 9th they were not released. I called in and was advised by the fraud department that they will be released by end of business Friday July 9th and Saturday morning I should have my funds available. Now Saturday morning is here and the funds are still not released and they won't unlock my online access. I called twice Saturday morning and the customer service representative placed a complaint in because they should have unlocked and released account and funds. Well she knew they were in the office but they wouldn't answer their phone. They still didn't unlock my account nor released my funds and it Sunday July 11.
They are now hold my money illegally. They have proof that I didn't commit fraud and the transaction was legitimate. Discrimination now is what this is. They have no reason to keep my account on lock and froze after they have proof and went through all my stuff. They have reversed all my creditors payments

Huntington cancels my card non stop. Cancels it for any online orders I make. Cancelled it at the convenience store in my town saying it is suspicious. I had two cards cancelled for taking money out of an ATM, one of which was a Huntington. They always ask me for verification codes and whatever cheap [censored] service they skimmed on doesn't cover all major cell phone providers.

My name is Vic Seslar, mortgage loan # [protected]. We have been with Huntington for roughly 13 years. We recently refinanced, June ‘20, and pay extra every month on the principal. I was told it is best to make my monthly payment by phone to ensure the extra amount gets credited to the principal. When I called this past Saturday, 4/24, I was informed that I did not make my April payment. I replied, excuse me, I did make the payment on 3/27 confirmation # JST032921. I was shocked to find out that the confirmation number really doesn't mean anything, just that is is the date that the payment will post, no tracking is available.
Apparently, a request was put in to credit back the late fee. I did make the two payments to get caught up. Obviously, my worry is that I want to ensure this would not impact my credit. Also, I had a couple questions and called in today, Monday 4/26, to talk to a manager. I called in and was put on hold for a manager for over 15 minutes (this is not an exaggeration I monitored the time on my phone). The original rep. got back to me and said the manager, Craig Sweeney, did not want to talk to me and asked her to take care of it. She went on to tell me everything I already knew from my interaction on Saturday. I explained I needed to talk to a manager, again, he cannot talk to me. At that point I asked for his name, previously referred to in this correspondence.
I am a good customer, I pride myself in the manner in which I handle debt and am never late with payments.
The way in which this entire ordeal was handled is unacceptable.
There is no way for me to talk to someone regarding a complaint, again unacceptable.
I work in the customer rapport field and would NEVER be this dismissive of a concern.

Car loan
The car that I financed with Huntington Bank was totaled on February 19, 2021. The insurance company paid right away, with two weeks, sent the check to Huntington, but they didn't apply it to the loan until April 2, 2021, which meant that I had to make a payment in March... I filed a GAP claim on March 1st and it was closed on March 31st with a check being mailed and the Warrantee to be cancelled to cover the balance of the loan. I was on the phone with "customer service" being put on hold and passed around for over four hours on 4/1/21 and was told then that the Warrantees would be cancelled by the lien holder. It's almost time for another payment and now I learn that the dealership has to cancel the warrantee and I was responsible for handling that! It could have been done months ago! Now I have to find the money for another payment... I live on Social Security and it takes strict budgeting of my money to get through every month. Where the hell am I going to find another $300 to make this payment?! I will, of course, and then I will wait until probably July for you to pay me back, because if I have to pay this payment, once everything is applied, it will be overpaid by almost $500! Unless, of course, they keep it all for interest! I have asked for someone who knows what they are doing... a supervisor, maybe to call me, but no one every does.
Tile Process
My wife and I moved here to Indiana about five months ago last 2020. Indiana is a title state and demands that all automobile titles whether a memorandum or a paid off official title be transferred to Indiana in order for a recipient to obtain proper license tags. Almost a month ago today, we submitted for a "paper" title for my wife's car to be produced and submitted to our Muncie Indiana BMV depot. This process has taken way too long and with our current automation today, is just utterly ridiculous at best. Your delays has cost my wife $18.00 in temporary tag fees, and a tremendous amount of frustration. We have called your so-called customer service number only to be delayed again and again by an intolerable 1-2 hour wait time. What the heck takes so long?
The only recourse at this time, is to file this complaint, and wait months for you to do something about it.
My wife tells me to be passive, nonetheless, my approach is this, if her automotive title does not arrive shortly to the Muncie Indiana BMV before her first 30-day tag ($18.00) expires, and it costs me another $18.00 for another 30-day tag due to your inefficient approach in handling this issue, I will personally sue you for the frustration, tags fees, attorney fees, file a complaint with the better business bureau, and maybe even take the liberty to speak with a newspaper about this bank and its customer service approach. We pay our bills on time, you have never missed a payment, we pay early, and I think that speaks for itself. So do me a favor, inform your title department to give this their immediate attention and get something done. We should NEVER have to wait on the phone for over an hour to speak to anyone about a problem, wait for weeks for a simple transaction to occur, and be forced to file a complaint just to get something done. If it is a personnel problem, then fix it

I went in to take money off my h&r block card to have it deposited into my checking account. First off I've been a customer for many years. The guy questioned me about the card. Why is there no name on the card. Well I get it when my taxes are complete. They dont have a machine that makes them right then and there. Then noticed I didn't sign the back. Then he told me to sign my card and come back the next day. What since does that make? Why couldn't I sign there? More exposure to this pandemic going on. Sadly I was there a couple day's prior. Got a survey from Huntington about my experience. And I gave a good rating. Witch was obviously a mistake. I know you have protacals too. But considering everything. This shouldn't have happened! I'll never go to that branch again! Possibly find a new institution to handle my banking. Credit union will treat me better than this!

I made a loan payment for my truck on 2/24/21 and I received a letter on 3/13/21 that said my payment was past due which due date is 2/28/21. I made the payment by phone and con. number was given to me. I called Huntington bank on 3/13/21 and spoke to someone named Latreka which was the most smart mouth person I have ever spoken to in my life. She said it was all my fault that the payment did not go through because of a error in account number which I read straight from my bank statement. Question being why was I not contacted earlier that the payment did not go through. Payment made 2/24/21 and I was not notified until 3/13/21?
