hydra skin sciences
As advertised, I requested the free sample of allegro ant aging cream and brio ant aging serum lotion from hydra skin sciences.
Unfortunately, I have continued to receive these same. Unsolicited products despite my returning their unopened packages while my account continues to be fraudulently charged. Consequently, repeated attempts to have this stopped and my money refunded to my account have not been honored.
In sum, any help you can provide in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I will regrettably have to seek further legal assistance in rectifying this matter.

fraudulent charges
I ageed to pay $4.95 and this company did not provide any information about a trial offer or a subscription. They sent the 3 bottles in two boxes. There was no packing slip. No emails were sent to me. They charged my credit card $109 and $103 plus $6.33. I only agreed to pay $4.95 total. Please provide a name and number of a person in the Utah corporate office who will answer their phone and be willing to fix this.
Anyone want to file a joint complaint with the Utah attorney General?
Yes! I want to file a complaint. They're obviously scam artists.
I notified my credit card company, they have seen this scam over and over again. They put a block on my credit card for any further charges through this company. Very disappointed, thought I was paying s&oh to try the products and if I liked them could contact them for more. When I received the packages and there wasn't a packing slip, nothing, I had a bad feeling
free trial on facebook
Beware! This is a total scam! My husband ordered the free $4.95 trial in september, only to be charged $103 and $109 within two weeks. Fortunately, we have proof of the return and their receipt of this scam, but still dealing with the cc company to get a permanent credit on this rip-off.
Don't be fooled, nothing is worth this price and the pain you will go through to get rid of it! They will avoid refunding the charges at all cost!
company policy
Just received Allegro Cream and Brio Serum samples. Read that one will cost $109. plus postage when shipped again. Not willing to pay that so cancelled before I get roped into purchasing it. Have payed for samples but MUST return them at MY expense. Will NOT get credit on charge card. Can not believe that a noted doctor would be party to such a shady business. Have read many unfavorable reviews about this so called offer. Really needs to be investigated... The icing on the cake was when the customer rep hung upon me. Live and Learn!
allegro/brio skin creams
This is the email I sent the company after a long phone conversation with customer service:
November 29, 2016
I am appalled at the way your company does business. I ordered a trial product (which I was under the impression from the website was only one product, not two), and when two items arrived I thought it was a mistake. I looked on the website for what I understood I would be receiving, and my invoice which indicated only one product. I was not comfortable with the business practice of sending more than what was ordered and being charged to have the item shipped, so I cancelled my trial subscription within the 14 days, sent the products back at my expense. The product was received by your company on Nov 17, 2016. When I emailed for the RMA number there was no offer to pay a reduced price for the products. Now, I have been charged for shipping & handling on both products. I called customer service for a refund of the shipping charges and have been flatly told it would not be done; it's a third party charge.
The trial subscription contract on the website states "You must cancel your trial before the expiration of the 14 day trial period in order to avoid automatic enrollment in an evergreen subscription. If you cancel before the end of the 14-day trial period, you WILL NOT be charged the full price for the Product and the product is yours to keep as the Company's way of thanking you for trying it." Reading this, cancellations done within the 14 day trial period would result in the account being cancelled and the product would be the customer's to keep.
The customer service rep told me that this is not the company policy; customers that choose to cancel have the option to pay half price for the product should they keep it, or it can be returned it they do not want to use the product.
There is clearly a conflict between the subscription contract wording and the actual company policy.
All I am looking for is fair treatment. In good faith I sent the unopened product back at my expense and cancelled the subscription. Based on the web contract wording, I should have been able to keep the product "as the company's way of thanking me."
Instead, I've been charged to have the product shipped to me, and have paid to ship it back. Nothing/no services were received for either of those charges.
My request is simple: either refund my original shipping charges of $9.90 for the two products - I did not order two products (use a business expense line item since your shipping charges are done by a third party), or re-send the product at your expense, because of the subscription contract wording.
I'll look forward to your reply - thank you.
Did they ever reply?
unethical behavior. unauthorized credit card charges
I ordered the samples for $4.95. The website site said my credit card was declined so I gave them another card. Later, I found they charged $4.95 to each card. I told them I was returning their samples and to not send any more products. I have not received more shipments but two weeks later they charged me $212. This company is deceitful, dishonest and totally unethical. The cream is a hoax. Don't buy it!
brio/allegro
A Facebook ad claimed a trial offer of $4.95 for their skin care product; before one can even give it a "trial" test, there was more product sent & my credit card skyrocketed to over $200 in charges in two weeks. I called the company and they claimed the details were in the offer (they were not), but they would offer more "free product" as an option or a complete cancellation with 40% of my money back. I was so disgusted with this company I took the 40% offer, but of course lost 60% of the money they charged for product I didn't want. I'm contacting Facebook about the scam.
bad business.. if you call it that
I ordered Allegro and Brio from an ad that was online and touted as being so great that Joy Behar was leaving The View to promote it. I was told that the product was free but just pay the $4.95 shipping charge. After clicking on it, the Brio ad popped up and was asked, did I want to try that too, for $4.95 shipping? I said yes. Nowhere in this ad did it say I had to try it for a certain amount of time or be billed for the full price. Which is exactly what happened. It appears on my Visa as 2 entries for $4.95 on Nov 5 and then on Nov. 18, there are 2 entries for $109 and $103 respectively. I immediately called Dupont Credit Union - and disputed the charges. They have had a lot more calls just like this one. They said the first step is to contact you, which is what I'm doing, to ask you to remove these charges. If you want the product back, let me know where to send it and I will do that. No paperwork was included with this product, so I can't send something I don't have. I see from your website that this has happened to a lot of other women, so you need to make this right and take those charges off my card. I want this resolved immediately.
brio and allegro deceptive marketing
An ad prompted me to a site for these products - a chance to try for only $4.95 shipping for each. A week after I received these 'samples" (I believe they were regular sized products because their customer service rep said they don't have samples ). I was charged a total of $203 plus on my card. I called and the customer service rep said that he would cancel my "subscription" for the products and if I would return the product they would credit me a certain amount less $20 for "restocking fee." They also said they would send me an RMA to return the products when have never been opened. No RMA. no refund and they are nothing but a bunch of scam artists. I have filed a charge dispute with my credit card company so we will see what happens next.
cleanser care & advanced skin
This is appalling! I was excited about this product until I received it late 4 days to try the product instead of 14 days as advertised. By the time you react to anything I am charged $109 plus $115 that I am thankful that I caught before I was charged. I returned the product was only give a $10 deduction instead of $20 for restock fee, which if the product is used what restock fee? I paid $10 to received the product $10 to return the product and $10 restock fee! So through this horrible experience and no product satisfaction I am OUT $30 dollars for my trouble, time and Aggravation! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOUR COMPANY AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO EGOTISTIC AND TREATED ME AS THOUGH MY BUSINESS DIDN'T MATTER! Basically the VIB that I got is there are more suckers out there! Disgusting ! Stay FAR AWAY from This Company!
HERE IS MY EMAIL [protected]@IX.NETCOM.COM...LOOK IT UP!
this whole company is a scam and crooks.
This company claimed they are sending a free sample only against the shipping cost of usd 4 . However 14 days from shipping date they charged my card for usd 69 x 2 ?! When asked they claimed that its 14 days from despatch not from delivery. They refuse to refund the money and r playing games of asking me to reship the sample which they condider one month supply . Even after shipping they do not guarantee refund as they claim they should receive it with a rwd ref ...etc
This is a scam fraudulent group of crooks co that should be reported to the monitoring authorities and should be discontinued and prevented from robbing people's money
The product is just hyluronic acid and they deceive people by claiming a free trial with no obligations but shipping fees . However they charge ur cc before u can even try or call to cancel. Even though i stated clearly several times on the recorde call that I Do Not Authorize Any charges eccept the 8 dollars shipping, yet they charged my card .
They refuse to refund the unlawful charge and. Claim that the FREe Sample is one month supply ?! And that i should return it w a specific ref and depend on them to say if they received it or not to effect the refund .
These are theivrs . Mid day robbers
Already expounded about them what more do you want anyway ?
total $212 scam
I placed the order for my "samples" on 11/7/16 & called to cancel on 11/21/16 (exactly 2 weeks/14 days after I placed the order) but was told that was actually 15 days, not 14. And bcs they count the day you order as part of the "2 week trial" even tho it took a week to receive. Therefore the shipment could not be stopped or credited back to me. All I would be entitled to is a $41 credit out of $103. While I was on the phone with them I told them to cancel ALL FUTURE SHIPMENTS FROM THIS COMPANY but instead, they only cancelled the one i was charged for on 11/21 & NOT the other item in the shipment, resulting in a SECOND charge on 11/22, this time for $109! I guess cancelling "ALL" to them means ALL of just "ONE ITEM" and not ALL of their products. So now I'm out $212. Even if I mail the products back there is a $20 restocking fee on EACH meaning I still wont get the full refund.

File a complaint with your Bank or Card Company to reverse the charges. Then do the follow up with MC or Visa. Be sure to state that this company does not comply with Federal Labeling Laws and is therefore not legal for sale in the US. http://www.fda.gov/Cosmetics/Labeling/Regulations/ucm126444.htm

allegro brio
I this ad on facebook about a face serum for free just pay for shipping $4.99. There was nothing in this about being enrolled to receive this monthly and I have been charged 3 times for $109. Called the customer service line and they side I probably did not see where it says you will be enrolled. The reason I didn't ee it was because it wasn't there. I will be looking at filing a class action law suite against this company.
allegro brio
I ordered allegro online only having to pay shipping which was $4.95. I only wanted it to try the eye cream which didn't work at all. 3 days after I received the allegro another packaged arrives which has the brio in it. I never signed up for it so I assumed maybe it was some bonus included.. Litttle did I know the would later charge me $103.00 for the brio. I called customer service and really let them have it so I was told to send everything back and they will be able to refund me $93.00. I sent everything back which I had to pay for, now I've been waiting since October 24 for the refund to go back into my account and it still hasn't. I call ever other day and it's always the same thing, " it will be in my account 2-3 days".. I believe I've been scammed..
unauthorized credit card charges
I ordered 2 samples on line from a company called Hydra Skin Sciences. One sample was for brio anti aging serum lotion, and the other for Allegro antiaging cream. The ad stated that all I would have to pay was the shipping charge of $10.00. I never received the samples, but instead I received 2 full size products of the lotion and cream. My credit card showed charges for the samples, and 2 separate charges for the full size creams. One charge was for $109.00, and the other charge was for $103.00. I did not authorize these charges. Also, there was no paperwork enclosed in the packaging to indicate that I would be receiving these products on a regular basis. My Visa credit card company tried to work this out for me to no avail, and took the charges off of my statement for 3 months, but the charges are now back on my statement. My credit card company sent me copies of unsigned statements that they said I read. I never read or received any of the paperwork from Hydra Skin Sciences. None what so ever.
brio anti aging serum and allegro
I ordered a trial for $4.99... Thought I just ordered one product to try but received both and was charged the $4.99 twice. Then all of a sudden on 11/6/16 was charged $103.00 and $109.00. You don't receive anything from them. Appears this is an auto enrollment but no place to know where to cancel or anything as no email or invoice.
Can't reach anyone to cancel. No address provided to cancel. Not open on the weekends. Make it almost impossible to reach
This site should be shut down. It's highly unethical the way they fool you into thinking you're simply purchasing a sample. I personally saw no place where they said this was an auto-ship service, or I would not have requested the sample. They refuse to refund your money, even if you call within 2 minutes of them making the charge. Horrible customer service from foreigners.
criminal company
In a weak moment I gave my cc# for a free trial of a product for $4.95 shipping.
This serum product just turned out to be hyaluronic acid...which I already have a heaps of.
My credit card was charged $109.93 on 10/03/16 FRUITSKIN [protected] MI S306275682428744 CARD 1637
This was for 1 fl oz of Allegro cream + night hyaluronic acid + day hyaluronic acid.
I didn't agree to buy these products, so the charge was illegal, I only agreed to pay $4.95
I was subsequently sent 2 more illegal shipments of 1 fl oz of Allegro creams within 1 month and my credit card was charged $115.94 again
on 10/06/16:PURCHASE AUTHORIZED ON 10/05 SKINCREAM844531878 [protected] UT S386279627679196 CARD 1637
I send these back to Utah and kept the tracking #'s and changed my credit card #
The chargebacks didn't go through when I asked Wellsfargo to get my money back...
However I will try through the bank a second time to retrieve my stolen money.
The total losses includes $8 postage for returns...so I was taken for $233.87
What a despicable company praying on people, both FRUITSKIN and SKINCREAM charges on my credit card are the same company trying to hide their identity so the victim will not quickly register multiple charges.
brio and allegro - be aware of buying the trial product
I saw the ad in FB about a good face cream and serum for a trial price of $.99 each. My mistake was to not read the very fine print that if you do not reply in 14 days you will be charged and if you don't respond they will continue to ship and charge. Be aware they do not send you an email with any information, and there is no invoice in the box. I had to go thru my CC company to get it cancelled. Lesson learned, pay attention to the fine print and remember companies like this are only in it to make a buck!
