I've never had a bad experience with this company. I've been using them for a couple of years now. There was a shipping mishap a while back when I moved, but customer service was quick to respond and resolved the issue in a timely manner. They were super kind and ended up giving me a code for $20 off my next purchase. Highly recommend! The website is easy to navigate and the check out is simple. They even let you add on items at a discount, which is always a nice thing if you need more products. Also, I love the products! Especially the mascara, concealer and foundation! I just ordered some new products to try!

I bought my foundation and cream about a month ago but when it arrived I didn't open it right away. It sat on the table for almost a month when I finally decided to use it. After one day I noticed the difference but 3 days later, I ended up at the dentist. She asked what I used because my skin looked beautiful and "being a dentist, we see everything up close and detailed". So I told her and showed her the site, she wrote it down and I'm guessing she'll order. Being on my mid 50s, I haven't had a compliment like that since I was a teenager! Felt great! Will never go back to my regular routine. Love these products!

I had an issue with a color match of products ordered. Once I brought it to the attention of the CS department, they were extremely prompt to address the issue and was very helpful in offering a solution. Beine a new customer, I can say the CS was VERY impressive, I will be a customer for life based on the CS and how easy they have made it to shop online fpor their products. Ndeedless to say thier products are pretty awesome as well. From the packaging to the actual products, simply awesome. GOOD CS nowadays is very hard to find, I think other companies to take a few lessons from IL MAKIAGE, you guys have mastered it. Thank you.
I Was A Skeptic.Not Anymore!
Trying different makeup is hard. Finding one that does what it claims is harder. I am 46 and my face is changing. More lines mean finding coverage that works with my skin instead of against it, is like finding a diamond in the desert. Il Makiage has been that diamond for my skin. I very skeptically tried Woke Up Like This foundation and WOW! It's silky smooth, not cakey, blends over my pores and lines nicely, and even covers my uneven skin all without feeling or being heavy. And that was even before trying the No Filter poreless base smoothing primer; combine the two and you have even more magic! This company has won a customer with great products.

I will first say I am not a fan of the prices, but the products I have used so far are worth it! Once I got the correct foundation color my makeup process has been so flawlessly fast! I will be ordering a darker color for the summertime and tanning season! The primer goes on smoothly and smells amazing! The mascara extends and separates perfectly though I do wish it could make them a little thicker my eyelashes are rather sparse?lol. I just put in another order for an Infinity lip cream and the power boost serum for skin care?can't wait for it to get here! If the price is my least favorite thing then I just have to say at some point you need to believe?YOUR WORTH IT!

It was very simple to place the order online, paying only for shipping, for the 14 day trial. The foundation that I ordered was delivered quicker than expected. Customer service stayed in touch via email. First thanking me for the order, with detailed instructions of what to do should I decide to return the product. A second email was received confirming the item shipped, and finally a third email giving me instructions for contacting a customer service rep should I have any questions or concerns at any time. The foundation itself is quite nice. It is natural looking and light weight. It does not accentuate lines or wrinkles at all. And the color selected by answering the online questions, was perfect. Needless to say, I am very pleased!

So I bought a foundation and concealer my first go around and I must say that I do absolutely love the look that it gives me, its exactly how it says it will look on you. I actually accidentally ordered some thing after placing my first order for my foundation and concealer and reported it to their customer services and had at least three different people come to help me out, their customer service is a plus and they stay on top of their job and they are so sweet And very giving, they make up for whatever didnt make you happy whether be their service or their products either way they always make sure to give a little and I really do appreciate how they handled my situation because what they did was more than what I was expecting to happen. Anyways, if youre over here looking at this site and youre wondering should I get it just because of the prices if its even that good, says it is that good and beauty is pain, time consuming and sometimes expensive but the expense is worth it, youre worth it and you looking beautiful is worth it because you freaking deserve it so dont knock this product because youre scared to spoil yourself and have Addit with a few products !

I used to order from them all the time until now, I ordered over $185 worth of product and have contacted support NUMEROUS TIMES to inquire where my order is! (First 3 times they finally apologized and reordered it at no cost) but now I STILL haven't received anything. I've contacted them for a refund and they have not been replying at all! I am disappointed. I purchased a product solely because I had a e-gift coupon. Without the coupon I would not have purchased the item. I got to checkout and I forgot to input the gift code. Yes, this was my error, but the website also does not let you input the code until the very end, which is conducive to forgetting to do so. Within one minute of finalizing the purchase, I emailed customer service to see if they could apply the gift code. Customer service replied right away that to do so would be against policy. So I asked if I could cancel the order instead. Customer service has conveniently gone silent on me and will not respond to me at all. Long story short, I love their products but dislike their customer service.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try the actual product yet because the package was marked as delivered, but I never received it. At first, I didn't notice this issue. I simply didn't receive the package within the expected timeframe. Due to some other circumstances, I assumed that my order didn't go through and everything was fine. I planned to order a trial at a later time. However, I realized that my bank account was charged for the items, and that's when I noticed the package status said "delivered". Around the same time, IL Makiage reached out to me and asked about my experience with the products. I explained my frustration with the situation, and they promptly sent me a new order, restarting my 14-day trial period. I'm really excited to finally try the product, and if it's even remotely as good as their customer service team, it will be a game changer. I purchased two items which were paid for upon completing the set trial days (14 Days). I began to received unauthorized charges on my credit card from them almost every other day. I tried on many occasions to talk to someone, but i was unable to send an email to customer service with no reply at all. There was no way to contact them telephonically. It has been over 8 emails and 12 days with no response or refunds applied to my credit card. I am stunned that with a product that is recognized globally they would provide such poor customer and instead should aim to rectify the customer issue respectfully. I would not recommend this company based on the fact that if your payment method is not secured and you cannot contact the company using any method, why would anyone take the risk and use their products.
Every 3 months I get 37 dollars out of my bank account. For a foundation that I never got. They said I could get my money back whenever I hat my package. They said when I get my package in the mail, they can refund me and there’s a refund which gives you a refund when go back to the site. So, I have to get the foundation, that I’ve never received. It is a bit pricey, but I love how the foundation looks on my skin and how it feels light and flawless. They even sent me a free foundation brush, which I love. I started the subscription about a month ago and encountered the same problem as everyone else when they placed a hold on my account. It took longer than the promised 4 days for the hold to be released, and I was worried. I emailed them about it, and although it took some time, the hold eventually came off and I was not charged until the 14th day. I had already decided to keep the products, but I didn't like that I had to wait the full 14 days. However, they did respond to my email and informed me that I couldn't pay early. I have left two reviews on their website for two different products that I purchased from them, and as a result, they sent me a $25 gift card and a $20 gift card. I was able to use these gift cards to order two lip pins for just $5 for shipping, which was great. Every company may not be suitable for everyone. I have had positive experiences with this company, although their communication between customer service and customers could be improved. Apart from that, I am happy with the products I have received from them, and I have received many compliments on my skin since using some of their products.

OMG it's magic! i'm quite sure I don't put the make up on all correctly and everything because I've never been a make up girl. When I had a question they answered my email with kindness and information. That right there is what up to me! they didn't belittle me for not knowing they just shared their knowledge and they were kind about it. I can put this make up on and I still look natural and my husband even comments about how beautiful it looks. It's smooths on evenly and it matches your skin tone beautifully. The mascara looks amazing, the pre-foundation doesn't break out my skin but allows the foundation to spread so nicely and not cake in your pores! The finishing spray helps keep the make up on your face and not on your clothes! and the bronzing powder has been amazing for the summer. It definitely makes a girl feel good! I even had one of my students tell me I looked beautiful! it must look good even my younger coworkers have started to use it because it looks good on me! take the chance you won't regret it, at least I didn't. I placed an order, immediately regretted my decision as I was charged in a foreign currency as I knew but their conversion rate and mine did not match and I noticed a separate charge added to my credit card for shipping. This was not stipulated on my order summary at all. In fact, this is a note from Il Makiage that shows up at checkout: 'Please note: We've got you covered, babe. For all orders shipping to certain locations, VAT and customs fees are covered. That means no extra fees and no trek to the post office to pick-up your package.' I paid $150.17 USD including an undisclosed amount of shipping, I then was charged an additional $8.92 USD on my credit card. I placed my order on Feb 9, 2023, at 9:07 AM. I emailed them to cancel my order on Feb 9, 2023, at 09:12 EST. I received an email from a representative at 9:15 EST as follows: 'I am so sorry to hear that you want to cancel your order. I tried to catch your order before it was sent to the warehouse, but it is actually already being processed, which means it is now being packed and shipped. Even though we can't cancel at this stage, once it arrives if you are still not happy with your order you can easily return or exchange for free.' I will not even try the product once it arrives. I'm returning it as soon as it gets here. I just wasted shipping and additional charges for nothing. How can a product be packed and ready to ship in 8 MINUTES? This is beyond unacceptable and very poor business practices.

I just don’t understand why, but they kept sending me foundations that were way too dark and orange pigmented. Not only that but the foundation itself was so Kiki. I don’t know what to think. However, I decided to take a chance and ordered a moisturizer (which is necessary during the Canadian winter), foundation (which I rarely wear), and under eye treatment. Even before the products arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. They responded to my order immediately, which is something that rarely happens nowadays. The estimated delivery date was two weeks, which is a bit long but not unusual during the holiday season. However, I received my order within five days, which was amazing. As of today, I have tested the under eye treatment and the moisturizer (Power Recharge). The first time I tried the under eye product, it felt too tight and like it was pulling my skin. However, I reduced the amount I used and was pleasantly surprised by the result. Within five minutes, I noticed a significant difference in puffiness and bags. The moisturizer is very lightweight and I no longer experience that "tight" feeling due to winter dryness an hour or two after applying it. I haven't used the foundation (Woke up Like This) yet, as I don't usually use foundation. However, if it is as good as the other two products, I will be ready to order more items in the future. The website provides plenty of product support and tips for use. I always have someone reach out after purchase thru the whole process to check and make sure everything went ok from ordering, to shipment, to receiving product than a little later just to make sure everything about the product was good. During the pandemic when shipping everywhere was running behind, they sent me a gift card for the inconvenience that was not even thier fault. The website stated shipping would take longer due to Covid numerous times before purchase. Still they gave me a gift code to use just because they always go above and beyond. All the other people I know who use and order their products from the Il Makiage's website have all also had a phenomenal customer service experience. If you haven't tried thier products most of them you can get for free to try for two weeks and send back if you don't like. They are literally in a pandemic world making shopping for beauty products as easy, seamless and wallet friendly as possible. They have a great shade match quiz that is spot on and if for some reason the color is off, just send it back and get a new shade in the postage paid envelope that they will provide . If you do the free two week trial you just send back and get the right shade no harm no foul. Your two weeks I believe get reset until you receive the perfect shade.

I really love this foundation. The color match is perfect, it provides the same coverage as shown in the ads, and it feels weightless. Recently, I tried the sun foam and I love how you can see where you're applying it on your body. It doesn't have that awful "sunless tanner" scent that everyone hates. The tan develops gradually, so you don't need to use a lot of product. While using it, I thought I would need the whole bottle for one application and felt disappointed. However, when I woke up the next day with a dark tan as if I had just been on vacation, I realized I probably shouldn't have layered the foam on top of itself. It gave me an even skin tone overall. I would advise being careful with the knee and elbow area, as the product may accumulate and darken there due to the naturally wrinkly skin. I also appreciate that it comes with a small kabuki brush for applying it to the face, ensuring an even skin tone all over the body. My only suggestion is to have a tool for applying it to hard-to-reach areas on the back, so you don't have to rely on a friend or partner for help. However, this suggestion applies to any type of lotion, cream, or sunless tanner, and doesn't impact the product itself. I loved the sun foam so much that I ordered another bottle to make sure I never run out.
Stay away! They don't allow cancellation and keep billing you!!
Initially ordered one bottle of foundation, but during the checkout, I was offered a deep discount to upgrade to an annual replenishment plan, with the offer stating that I could still cancel for a refund if not satisfied with the product. Il Makiage billed me for both the single bottle AND the annual replenishment price, even thought I had not received the first bottle and the annual plan would not start until July (this was around January)! Contacted customer service via email to dispute the double charge and explained that an 'upgrade' by definition, is not an ADDITIONAL order but a modification to the order. I hadn't even received the first bottle to know whether I liked it.
Received a response that that is how they bill, but that if I didn't like the foundation, I could still cancel the annual for a full refund. Received the foundation, discovered it does NOT perform as advertised (it is runny with little to no coverage, the opposite of what they claim), so I immediatley canceled the annual plan. I kept the single bottle since I had paid for it separately and it was a hassle to package it up and return it, but I did not want to continue onto the annual plan. At that point, I received an auto pop up on the site advising that I could not cancel the annual replenishment, but that the frequency would change. Since that time, customer service will not respond to me regarding the cancellation. Since I had not received any of the annual replenishment bottles, I disputed the charge with my bank and the bank put a stop payment on Il Makiage, which was billing as IM Pro. AFter that, they kept sending emails stating that they couldn't charge my card, but still not addrssing the cancellation. Apparently, they refuse to accept the fact that I did not want any further product from them. Today, nearly 11 months after the fact, they have successfully charged my brand new card (with a new number), for an entirely different amount. They contacted Visa, fraudently claimed that they have a 'recurring charge' agreement with me and Visa provided them with my new card info. Yes, Visa will violate our privavy and provide our financial info to a company if that company pays a small monthly fee to them to obtain card info on consumers that they wish to continue charging, and all they have to do is claim that the consumer has a recurring charge set up with that company. This was confirmed to me by Bank of America. Il Makiage was able to get around the Stop Payment placed following their earlier billing fraud by simply altering their billing name from IM Pro to Il Makiage. A Stop Payment only stops billing based on the exact name of the company. If the company alters their name, they can slip past the Stop Payment. Gyms pull this all the time by having multiple billing entity names. Now Il Makiage has figured out the scam, which is why so many consumers are filing billing fraud complaints against them now. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL NEVER STOP BILLING YOU, regardless of their purported cancellation policy.
Recommendation: DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL NEVER STOP BILLING YOU. Product does not work as advertised and they practice the worst kind of billing fraud.
Disappointing Experience with Il Makiage: Woke Up Like This Foundation & Customer Service
So I went over to ilmakiage.com and decided to try out the woke up like this foundation. I gave the test a shot and sadly it was way too light for me, like 1000 shades off. But, I still decided to give their other products a try. After purchasing, I reached out to their customer service team to see if I could return the product for a refund or get a shade that suited me better. However, instead of looking into my case, they claimed that I was outside of the 14-day window to return items.
I was determined to get a solution to my problem and emailed them again, proving that I was still within the return window. But, unfortunately, instead of getting a refund or getting the right shade, they only offered me a $30 gift card. Eventually, I ended up using the gift card to buy an eyeliner for a whopping $22. I feel like that was way too much for an eyeliner, especially considering how expensive it was.
In the end, I ended up losing $45 and had to pay for the shipping as well. It was a pretty frustrating experience, and I feel like ilmakiage.com could have handled it better. I'm not sure how good their foundation is because I don't want to spend another $50 in hopes of finding a shade that suits me, especially since my first experience with them was a bit disappointing.

So, I wanted to give Il Makiage a try and despite having high hopes for their products, I was somewhat disappointed while shopping online at their website. Although they do offer a discount for providing your email address, I found that I could not apply my coupon code when I was receiving the free application brush for signing up. It's an example of the classic bait and switch tactics used by various companies to offer additional savings with a catch, where the customer is promised something and then denied it later.
I was signing up to receive future orders of my foundation, so I should qualify for the free application brush. And, if I'm subscribing to receive emails, I should also qualify for a 10% discount on my current purchase. But, to my surprise, I was only able to use the coupon code if I didn't take the free brush offer. It truly makes me doubt the integrity of the company when they play these types of games with their customers. As a result, I'm highly skeptical about doing business with Il Makiage and may end up cancelling my subscription due to their business tactics.
If you decide to shop at Il Makiage, it's important to be aware of the "fine print" (if there is any) that doesn't actually appear to be "printed" anywhere on their website. It's a shame because they offer many beautiful products; but, then they spoil their reputation with these types of tricks. So I run into some ads on Instagram about this Il Makiage company. I saw a lot of different products that seemed rather interesting but the cost of these products gave me pause. After a while, I decided to give them a try by ordering just one item. However, during checkout, I found their website layout rather confusing in terms of selecting products. As a result, I accidentally clicked on another item I didn't intend to purchase. Unfortunately, I could not remove that item and ended up paying for two items instead of one.
To try and correct this, I looked for a customer service phone number only to find out there wasn't one. In the end, I was left with no choice but to send an email. However, getting a response took much longer than I had hoped for. Another thing I found out was that they don't accept order cancellations. I recently received a promo code via email from Il Makiage, and boy was it a doozy! The code was so long that I couldn't even highlight it properly to copy it into the designated field. It was frustrating to say the least.

And to make matters worse, I was continuously bombarded with requests to sign up for auto replenish, even though I had already signed up previously. After I finally managed to input the seemingly never-ending promo code, I was disappointed to find that one of the three products I wanted was no longer available.
To make matters worse, I wasn't sure if my order was truly complete because I wasn't given the option to skip an add-on for an additional 20% off. And to top it all off, even though my auto replenish account guarantees free shipping on all orders, I would have been charged shipping if I didn't meet the minimum $50 purchase threshold. Is free shipping really a scam the way it's advertised?
Overall, I'm not a happy camper. As a long-time customer, I feel like Il Makiage isn't valuing my loyalty or making it easy for me to shop with them. It's frustrating to have to jump through hoops just to make a simple purchase. I may have to consider looking elsewhere if things don't improve.

I tried the free trial and understood I would only pay for shipping. Bait & Switch: Buyer Beware
In all transparency, I've heard nothing but good things about this foundation. So, of course I wanted to try it. However, I didn't even get to try it. I was out of town for a funeral and came home to the package at my front door. I have no idea how long it was there. Not really an issue except when they force me to choose two items that you did not want in addition to the foundation that I did want. And then tell me I have 14 days to return those items or they will charge me full price (for items they did not even give me the option to opt out of)! If that weren't enough, when I immediately emailed them to let them know that I would not likely be able to get it back within 14 days because I'm an extremely busy schedule and being in and out of town, they did not acknowledge my issue at all and The fact that they forced me to choose stuff I didn't want and then want to force me to return it or charge my account. I will never recommend this company strictly because of the poor customer service and the whole bait and switch situation they have going on. The sad thing is the foundation looks like it would be a perfect match which is hard to find as a brown skin girl. But I'll try my luck elsewhere. Something that was supposed to be convenient and save me time has now turned into an extreme hassle during one of the most challenging times of my life. Buyer beware.
Terrible customer service
I placed an order for foundation, concealer, & primer, and when it arrived I tried the foundation and found it and the concealer to be too dark for my skin, and I just didn't like the feel of the primer. I asked for a refund on the primer and an exchange on the foundation & concealer. The refund was processed right away, but after over a week had passed no one had reached out about the exchange. I started emailing, and it took over another week for any response other than "we'll get back to you within 24 hours". Such a load of [protected]@p. They first offered me a 25% discount on a new order, no offer to replace the shades that were too dark, or provide a refund. After another week or so i finally got a refund, and a voucher for $50. I ordered once again, shade 50, and my confirmation email said shade 105. (my original order was for 60). I immediately emailed customer service and tried to get the order fixed before it shipped. I emailed the next day too, and got an email promising help within 24 hours. 8 days later i got an email asking for the order # and my personal information. I didn't hear from them again for several days; meanwhile, the wrong color foundation showed up in my mailbox, and then i got another email telling me that because the order was placed with a voucher, i couldn't get an exchange. I reminded them that the mistake was on their end, but they refused to help. This has been one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with, and urge everyone considering placing an order to find something else. Too Faced Born This Way is good.

On Friday, February 17th at around 4pm EST, I checked my mail. In my mail I received a box from IL MAKIAGE with what I thought had my sunless tanner in it that I recently ordered. Keep in mind the package was delivered maybe 15 mins before i checked my mail according to the tracking info I received in my email. I opened the box, which was sealed and found the free mascara gift and the instructions for the sunless tanner, along with some confetti packing paper but after taking all the paper out I found nothing but the mascara and instructions, no sunless tanner. I immediately went into IL MAKIAGE website and found the option to contact you. I filled out the form to contact you. The next day I received an email from customer service in, along with my first initial email to IL MAKIAGE. I then responded back stating again that I never received the product and was not looking to return anything. I never received a reply. The following day I received a Facebook message from IL MAKIAGE stating they had saw a comment I had left on the page stating I had not received the sunless tanner that I ordered. They asked for my order number and email address in which I gave them. I have heard nothing from IL MAKIAGE since sunday evening at 6:20pm when I received the first Facebook message from this company. They stated they would look into the issue and get back with me. As of this morning Tuesday February 21st at 7:35 EST, I have not received a follow up from anyone at this company. I was really looking forward to trying this product and would still like to receive the product, but if that can not be arranged then I would like my money back. I hate to have to post this on Facebook, but as I have stated, I have attempted to contact customer service with no response. I am posting this here in hopes that I will be contacted by someone that can actually help.

I made the purchase on June , 2020 and was charged $5.35. I received the items on June , 2020 and returned them the same day. Surprisingly, I was charged an additional $47.08 on July , 2020. When I checked my account, I noticed that the auto-replenishment for "*** I'm flawless" was not canceled, but it was canceled for "woke up like this." The website clearly states that if the product is not for you, you can return it within the 14-day trial period and the auto-replenishment will be canceled. I contacted customer service about the charge and initially received a generic response stating that I didn't qualify for a refund. I explained that I returned both items and questioned why the auto-replenishment was canceled for one product but not the other. I requested a refund of $47.08, which is not the cost of the items. Eventually, I received a response apologizing for the inconvenience and stating that they would make an exception and refund me. They assured me that the refund had been processed, but it might take 2-10 business days for it to appear in my account, depending on my banking institution. However, I still haven't received the refund, so I reached out to the company again. They apologized for any misunderstanding and explained that a pre-authorization was placed on my card for security purposes. They assured me that the funds were still in my account and would not be transferred unless I chose to keep the product. They mentioned that the pre-authorization would fall off within 4 days from the order. They apologized again and emphasized that they didn't want to lose me as a customer over a pending charge. I responded, stating that this charge is not a pre-authorization charge, but I haven't received a response yet. Thank you for any assistance!
After repeated communications over the past two years, this company will not stop sending me things and charging my account.At first I spoke with customer service and made sure I cancelled properly.I have everything on record.Then I thought maybe I sent it back too late, even though it was within the time period. I took the package to the designated postal service outlet as I was instructed to do. The post office returned my package stating that I had to pay $17.05 more to ship because their label did not cover the correct weight. I used the same box they shipped it to me in. I emailed them to let them know and they said you don't need to pay anything, just use the pre-paid label attached to that email and drop it off at the post office. So, I went to drop it off again but this time I spoke to someone and they told me the same thing, the weight is too low on their prepaid label and I had to pay $17.05 to ship it. As time was running out to return the package, I went ahead and paid the $17.05 extra to ship it back to them. I have gone back and forth over email with them the past 2 weeks. I keep going in circles, they don't acknowledge the fact that I am asking for a refund for the $17.05, they just keep telling me the same thing... you don't need to pay anything with our pre-paid label, just go drop it off at the post office. I sent them pictures of the return package and the receipt showing I had to pay additional to send it back. They keep giving me the run around and it's like they don't even read my emails. It's ridiculous and now I am fed up with their antics. Horrible customer service. I expect them to reimburse me for the $17.05 I had to pay due to their pre-paid label's insufficiency. I've sent out multiple e-mails, called several times but no help. They have basically stolen from my account and the only e-mails I get in return are copy paste e-mails. I need someone to actually assist me with this. I've never experienced this before with a company. They claim it to be a pre-authorisation charge but this is not the case. There is no hold on my card, it was a FULL CHARGE. They are not listening to me and I plan on taking further legal action if nothing is going to change.

I have tried to cancel these shipments for a year now. I cancelled my auto replenishment numerous times on your website. I have contacted customer service numerous times and there is always an excuse to why you keep shipping to me. Last time it was because I had 2 separate orders due to changing my email address so I cancelled auto replenishment on both accounts. I was on auto replenishment up until August when I cancelled all my orders. I have emails from the company stating my accounts were closed and I would not be charged. On November 6th I was charged again in the amount of $100.08 I again emailed the company and was told they closed my accounts and gave me a credit {which I haven't gotten yet} to check my account on November 7th and have been charged a 2nd time.
