Il Makiage Review: Great Return Policy, Expensive But Worthwhile Primer, Peculiar Scent in Foundation
I'm happy that Il Makiage has a return and exchange policy! It's difficult for me to find makeup that works well with my eczema-prone skin, so I appreciate the flexibility.
Between the products I tried, I ultimately kept the primer. It was quite expensive, but I found it to be worthwhile due to discounts and a gift card I received from the company. The foundation blended well, but the scent was a bit odd. I quite liked the concealer, but reverted to the one I had been using previously. The brush that was gifted to me was decent, but I'm not sure I would purchase it myself. I also received an eyeliner as a gift, which is currently in my makeup bag.
I deducted a star from my rating because of the peculiar scent, but it's not overwhelming and I grew accustomed to it after a while. If you're hesitant to try Il Makiage because of this reason, I recommend giving it a shot - especially since their return policy is top-notch!
Lastly, I appreciate how much Il Makiage values customer satisfaction. They may surprise you with a gift certificate to use on their website - it could be anywhere from $10 to $50! It's just another way they go above and beyond to please their shoppers.

What's up, folks? So, I gotta start by sayin', Il Makiage has some top-notch customer service, seriously. They treat you like a bestie and always go the extra mile. Like, they send e-gift cards for writing reviews, and if your package arrives late, they got your back. It's pretty sweet if ya ask me.
Buuuut...
There's always a but, right? Their products ain't all that great. I tried their foundation and dang, it did NOT cover well. Plus, it made my skin feel extra greasy and gross. And don't even get me started on the price, holy cow. You can find way cheaper stuff that works waaaaay better. Just sayin'. Like, I found this dope foundation called "L'oreal True Match" and it was less than half the price of Il Makiage's foundation. And it matched my skin tone PERFECTLY, covered all my flaws, and left my skin feelin' natural as all get-out. Plus, the eyeliner? Yeah, that thing went from black to gray in no time.

Il Makiage Foundation Review: Beware of Unwanted Items & Terrible Customer Service
Yo, listen up! I heard so many people talking bout this Il Makiage foundation, so I just had to try it out for myself. But let me tell ya, things didn't go as planned. I was out of town for a funeral when the package arrived, and I have no idea how long it was sittin' outside my door. No biggie, right? Wrong. They made me pick two items that I didn't even want and never gave me the option to opt out of, on top of the foundation that I did want. And get this, they only gave me 14 days to return those unwanted items or they gonna charge me full price! Ain't that some crap?
So I hit up their customer service right away, explaining that it might be hard for me to return the stuff in 14 days since I'm super busy and always on the go. And you know what they did? Nada, zilch, nothin'. They didn't even acknowledge my issue or the fact that they're basically tryna bait and switch me. For real, this company's customer service is straight up trash. And it's a damn shame too, 'cause the foundation looks like it would've been a perfect match for my brown skin. But now I gotta look somewhere else.
Bottom line, don't get caught up in their supposed "convenience." This whole thing turned into a huge headache during one of the toughest times of my life. So if you're thinkin' bout buyin' from Il Makiage, just beware.
Il Makiage Review: Frustrating Experience with Ordering and Customer Service
I was super excited to try Il Makiage's foundation, concealer, and primer so I made an order on their website. However, when it arrived, I was saddened to find out that both the foundation and concealer were too dark for my skin. Even the primer didn't sit well on my skin. So I decided to ask for a refund on the primer and an exchange on the foundation and concealer. Thankfully, they processed the refund right away, but it took more than a week for someone to respond to my request for an exchange. I must say, it was quite irritating.
I kept sending emails, but it seemed like I was being ignored. To my surprise, they first offered a measly 25% discount on my next purchase without offering a refund or a replacement for the wrong shade. After a few more days, I finally got a refund, and a voucher for $50. I thought I should give it another shot, so I made another order, but then I got a confirmation email saying that the order was for shade 105 instead of my original order, which was shade 60. Immediately, I tried to contact customer service and sort it out before it got shipped, but it took them 8 days to acknowledge my issue and ask for my personal information and order number.
It was almost two weeks since I had placed the order by the time they got back to me. Meanwhile, the wrong color foundation showed up in my mailbox, which was super annoying. I got another email from them telling me that since the order was placed with a voucher, they couldn't exchange it. Seriously, this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with an online shopping company. I urge everyone who is thinking of placing an order with Il Makiage to think twice before doing so. You should go for Too Faced Born This Way instead, it's awesome!
Bad Experience with IL MAKIAGE: Never Received My Sunless Tanner
So I was just chillin' on Friday, February 17th around 4pm EST and I was checking my mail when I saw a box from IL MAKIAGE. I was so excited because I thought it was my sunless tanner that I had ordered recently. According to the tracking info I got, the package was delivered just 15 mins before I checked my mail. When I opened the box though, it was so weird - there was confetti packing paper, a free mascara gift, and instructions for the sunless tanner, but no actual tanner! What the heck, right?
So, I went right into the IL MAKIAGE website and looked for a way to contact them. I filled out the form and waited. The very next day, I got an email from customer service in response to my initial email. I told them that I never got the product and that I wasn't trying to return anything. But, after my response, I didn't hear back.
The day after that, I checked my Facebook and I had a message from IL MAKIAGE. They saw a comment I had left on their page about not getting my sunless tanner and they asked for my order number and email address. I was like, "YES! Finally, someone is going to help me." But, since then, I haven't received any follow up from them at all. It's been a few days and I still haven't heard back from anyone.
I was SUPER excited to try the product that I ordered, and I still want it, or to get my money back if that's not an option. But, dang, IL MAKIAGE - why is it so hard to hear back from someone?! I didn't want to throw them under the bus on social media, but I'm really hoping that by posting this review, it'll get their attention and they'll finally respond to me. Fingers crossed!
Il Makiage vs. Luminess: A Comparison of Airbrush Makeup Systems and Liquid Foundations
I've tried a few different airbrush systems and liquid foundations and my recent experience with Il Makiage has been impressive. I previously owned the Luminess airbrush system and the Breeze system, both of which provided me with enough coverage to last all day without any issues. But I wanted to see how the Il Makiage liquid foundation compared to Luminess, especially when it came to the color matching, coverage, and overall feel on my skin.
What I loved about Il Makiage was how spot-on the color matching was. I have struggled to find the right shade using online questionnaires, and with Il Makiage, I didn't have to guess or try multiple shades to get the right match. With Luminess, I found the shades to be a bit too orange and often had to mix shades to get a good match, which took some time and effort.
When it comes to coverage, Il Makiage provided light coverage without the cakey feeling I often experienced with Luminess. Il Makiage was great at covering blemishes and dark spots, and I loved the way it felt on my aging skin. Luminess, on the other hand, had buildable coverage but still felt a bit cakey on my skin, possibly due to the orange tones used in the shades. It didn't work as well as advertised for aging skin.
Another thing I appreciated about Il Makiage was the price. It sells for about $50, which is a good month or two supply. Luminess systems cost around $300, and the monthly makeup vials could cost anywhere between $25 to $55 each. Plus, keep in mind that you'll need additional products like concealer and "Glow" in addition to the foundation vials.
One thing that did take some getting used to was the application time. It only took seconds to apply Il Makiage, while Luminess took about 10 minutes for one completed application. Plus, you need to clean the airbrush unit afterward.
In terms of staying power, Il Makiage was impressive and lasted all day. Still, when it comes to removing the makeup at the end of the day, Luminess won in that area. The makeup remover cloth is good evidence that Luminess is tough to remove.
As a Texan, I appreciate having my Luminess system around when I know I'll be out all day in humid weather and want a more made-up look. But overall, Il Makiage is my favorite. The feel, price, and color matching are top-notch, and I love the customer service. With Luminess, you get a 30-day trial for $19.95, but the customer service can be less than great if you request a return. You also pay to return the product. With Il Makiage, you get 30 days to try their full bottle of foundation, and they pay for the return if you don't like it. Their customer service is fantastic.

I placed my order to try the foundation and (while my undertone is actual peach - which a lot of brands consider that warm, my undertone is more neutral/almost cool) and their quiz matched me with (surprise, surprise) a warm/yellow undertone. The shade was spot on, but - as I kind of worried about - the undertone was far too yellow. I tried it for a week(ish), trying various things to see if I could make it work, but in the end, it was just more yellow than my coloring could work with, so I did return it (easiest makeup return ever. Completely hassle free). They did reach out and tell me they'd help me find my color match, but, to be honest... they do hit your account for the full price of the foundation (they tell you it's possible to happen before you buy) and it does drop off, however, my bank is a huge *** and they ALWAYS hold my pending charges for 10 business days AFTER they pending charge is dropped by the charging company. So, I still "paid" for the foundation but not because of IL Makiage (It has since dropped, too). So, I just wasn't going to hassle with trying to find a better matching undertone. It has taken me a year and a half to find my perfect shade in just a handful of foundations, so it's just more hassle than I want to deal with. But, just today, I got another email, where they offered me a $50 e-gift card. Basically, no strings attached. So I did try another shade with a more neutral undertone and hopefully that one works better.

I did a try before you buy with their foundation, and I LOVED the product, but the color I got was too dark. I looked at the FAQs (which are extremely extensive, and that also gives another level of trust, so you can do your research before you buy) and decided to do an exchange instead of a return, which requires emailing customer service. Now, at this point, I'm like "oh, great, I'll be waiting days for some robot to respond," so I sent the email, and then decided to go online and get the return out of the way. Well, by the time I finished that, I had received a truly wonderful, pleasant response from a customer service representative (not a robot)! She was so kind, apologized for my experience (not getting the right shade on the first try from their amazing "find your shade" quiz), offered to help with a return or exchange, and even offered to help me find the right color to exchange, if I was willing to give them another chance. I gladly took her up on her assistance, answered a few questions, she put in an order for the new color, thanked me for giving them another chance by telling me to go ahead and keep the color that was not correct AND gave me a generous coupon towards a future purchase! Truly, it made my day. She was so sweet, and I just felt so taken care of! I have already used my discount, confident that if any issues arise, they'll be there for me! Keep up the amazing service!

Love IL Makiage! The concealer is out of this world amazing! It melts into your skin, actually conceals but you can't even tell your wearing it, perfect shade match too. It conceals dark undereye circles flawlessly without creasing or caking..The foundation is also a perfect shade match and makes skin look amazing. Both the *** last ALL DAY too.. I know I shouldn't do this but,, I went to bed in my makeup one night after wearing it all day the day before and when I woke up it still looked perfect! The liquid eyeliner is also out of this world! It applied so easily and beautifully! I'm not good at applying liquid eyeliner and always used regular eyeliner pencils until I tried IL Makiage's liquid eyeliner pen. My daughter keeps stealing mine from me too because she's obsessed with it. It lasts all day & doesn't smudge or cake or peel.. The primer is also fantastic! Applies nicely and helps makeup apply & stay looking great all day. The lip glosses/lipsticks are insanely gorgeous too..I haven't tried one yet but I hope to do so soon and I've heard tons of great things about them from several different people! The setting spray is also great! Makes makeup stay looking fresh all day.. I haven't come across one bad product from this company so far.. Nor have I heard anything negative about them either..Oh, and the customer service is impeccable! I'm actually shocked by this company/brand. It is definitely my favorite & go-to for makeup. I recommend it to all my friends and family and anyone I meet online that enjoys good makeup. I'll be a returning customer for life, that's for sure!
This company advertise only have To pay shipping in the amount of $5.00 when i checked out it said $5.40 tax added. That was no Problem once i checked out online I get my confirmation. It says $82 Is going to be on hold. I didn't see This pre hold in the check out Process. Only after you pay is when You get this message. This has devastated my bills due to this. I've sent about 10 emails. Someone Named Johnathan did respond By saying the warehouse have Already sent out product. I don't Want there product there deceptive I have lost my whole kitchen due To the xmas storm and i don't Have time to have them send me Something then i have to send Back to them. Awful service - have been waiting for a reply back for days - I had an issue with product I was sent and the initial reply was fast but then I had to reply back to their questions and have yet to receive a response. It has been 7 days and I followed up twice because there is a time limit and only got automated responses. Will be returning product and disputing charges if they attempt them.

They want me to review, fine. You got it! When first purchasing the makeup I was told it was a a try for free trial but when checking out it STILL charges my card $40. So I kept the makeup and love the product, however its not worth it because they withdrew an additional $40 for this month and when I complained about it and told them it isnt a *** and shouldnt be treated like one and that I didnt need another one yet they came back with oh Im so sorry your trial wasnt what you wanted and we want you happy, refunded the amount, which still hadnt been processed back to me, and went around and took yet another $40 from my account! So now I have to call them in the morning and I guess *** them out! Didnt even listen to the actual problem! So I emailed back stating first of all I was charged $40 for the try for free one, then when refunded it charged another $40. Then they send coupons as if that is suppose to make it better. I now want nothing to do with them. I want my information and card they supposedly have off their records and unable to be taking money out without my *** permission! Then they harass me with several emails about a review for the Complaintsboard.com. So here it is, you want one, DO NOT GET MAKEUP FROM HERE! It is a great product but not worth the headache. I did not love it! I have to admit that I am part of the problem. I asked for a matte finish, and I got a matte finish. I realize now that I really needed a dewey finish. It is also a bit orange for me. I need to return it.
I ordered the "trial, try before you buy". Paid S&H. It has been 30 days since I ordered it. Still no product has arrived. Contacted customer service. "So sorry, we'll send out another". Still no product. In the meantime my CC/Debit was compromised (not by them). I believe they were trying to charge me $80.00 for full price ( not try before you buy). So it's apparent that since that didn't go through, they are not sending me the trial product. I believe they are a scam and would encourage anyone not to buy from them. It's all empty promises.

Ok, here is my review of IL Makiage. I cannot possible give them the amount of stars they deserve! In this day and age, buying products that boast that they do this and and they do that online is dicey. I cant tell you how many times Ive been burned. But I ordered foundation and the magic sun foam from IL Makiage. I figured I could return them no harm no foul. But I must say I was blown away! I received my foundation earlier this week. I have really bad pale skin that not only does not tan, but particularly my face as the day goes in gets red, feels warm to the touch, and pretty much resembles a sun burn. Ive used many different products, but recently I found a color corrector to try, but any make up I covered it with looked like a casket mess and wiped off so easily. IL Makiages foundation was a game changer! My face looks natural with my new foundation and doesnt wipe off when I touch my face. Then I waited until this weekend to try the sun foam just in case. Most self tanners look like orange on my pale skin. I applied the foam earlier today after a shower wore it out (no make up at all). And as it began to change to the tan I was so relieved it looked great! When I got home from shopping even my kids who notice nothing were like mom! You look so tan, were you in the tanning bed? Yep, the results were that good! IL Makiage has also emailed me several times on tips on applying my products, and should I not have liked them, Im pretty sure they would have swapped them for something else. Ive already ordered a primer to try and Im totally excited for that to come in! If you are on the fence, give them a try, you will love it!

I'm a 47-year-old skeptic. I have never found the shade of foundation that I would say matched my coloring. It's one of the reasons why I never wear foundation. As I have aged, I have been thinking more and more about my skin and how uneven it is. I have red and pink blotches with occasional adult acne and age spots on my cheek bones. I have wanted something that is lightweight to cover all of that but wasn't interested in trying all of the products out there to find it. IL Makiage was everywhere I looked and with their claims I had to give it a try. The quiz was odd because I really didn't think that it would be enough information to get my shade right the first time. I was skeptical but excited to see what would arrive. I really like it and can see that the color really does match me and I find it sheer, lightweight on my face. I put it on in the evening and really liked it, wore it for a few hours then tried it again a few mornings later (different lighting, etc) went to the store, checked my face in the rear view mirror and was impressed. In full light my face looks great and in low light even better. It's a matte finish for me and the coverage I need. I especially love how when applied to my decollete it erases the redness and discoloration that years of sun exposure has given me. I have since passed on this information to my friends and they have placed orders too. I can't wait to hear their feedback. For the middle aged community I think this is a win. Also, my order was one day late. I had no idea really and it wasn't a big deal but the company sent me a $25 gift card for future purchases. Today I used it for a lip pencil. I was impressed with how seriously they take customer service. I give them a 100%.

I knew that even if I liked it, the likelihood I would even want to place another order here was very slim. Once they take your card and you think you're done, and excitedly waiting to see if your color match was right, they start bombarding you with pop-ups to add stuff on or autoship the foundation you haven't tried yet. If you click on ANY of them you will immediately be charged, and trust me - it is VERY easy to do, especially if you are doing it mobile or on a small screen. The 'skip' is grayed out and small, and also the page will potentially jam (what happened to me). You will then attempt to cancel said accidental purchase and they'll tell you it's not possible, just send it back! (Banking on the fact you won't bother with the hassle) I read several reviews telling this same story, so it wasn't just me. They will also send you more emails than you ever wanted in your entire life just by taking the quiz, and after ordering, and canceling. I have returned my order and left several bad reviews and I'm still getting emails trying to throw free stuff at me. They ended up telling me to keep the $30 mascara, which was kind of them I suppose, but I would rather they had just canceled it rather than waste a product. It also tells me they treat their products as throwaway items. I don't considering offering free money or items true customer service. I see that just as a bad business tactic of trying to loop you back into their web. All in all I am just utterly baffled as to how they have so many positive reviews, maybe this really is the best foundation ever, unfortunately I will never know because this experience was such a negative one.

I kept hearing reviews from customers about how IL Makiage would simply have them complete a test, complete the prompts and somehow this test would match them with their correct color foundation. I decided to partake in the same process on their website to see if it was true. I was initially hesitant at first but I put that to the side. After I finished answering the questions (they ask numerous questions to ensure they can accurately identify your skin type/color), they gave me an option to receive a sample or to buy the foundation completely. I opted out for a sample. The package was delayed by *** (this wasn't a surprise to me as COVID-19 is an overhead issue) and Nicki stayed in contact with me every step of the way and was very kind and apologetic. When I received the foundation it looked to be the correct color of my skin. I applied the foundation to my entire face and waited a few minutes for it to set and when I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. It was an exact match! I could barely tell I was wearing any foundation (because I never wear foundation; haven't worn foundation in over 3 years)! My husband (who claims to be very aware of erroneous applications of makeup) said I looked like a model (LOL) and it looked great on me and also that it was a perfect match. I was utterly impressed at the fact that this exact match was all done over a questionnaire on the internet! Not only that, the sample that they gave me (in which I only paid about $5 for!) was the size of a normal bottle of foundation you'd get anywhere else! This will last me over a year! I definitely recommend this makeup brand if you are looking for the correct foundation for your skin type/color or are having any troubles on finding the correct color shade anywhere else. Amazing!

I saw all the rave online and thought I could try it and give my review on social media. It was streaky, thin and not buildable. This is already paired with an immaculate skincare routine. I decide to contact customer service and let them know Im not a fan of their foundation. The email response was obviously disgustingly auto generated. It didnt address anything I said. When I replied and said, Can I get real LIVE help with my concerns? This email was scripted and I would appreciate REAL human help with effort. Etc. They replied by saying, I am indeed a real person, it was not an auto-response. In regards to the eyeliner, I can check to see if it can be replaced, free items can't always be replaced as they are limited in quantity. The tips I gave are typically what helps our foundation apply more smoothly, it is buildable to medium coverage at most. If you want full coverage, we can exchange the foundation for our full coverage option, After Party. While we hope our foundation is a great fit for all, we only carry matte foundations, so they typically look best on normal/combo/oily skin. If you love the color, I also recommend adding a drop of serum or moisturizer to it to get a more hydrating application. This video also has some amazing tips, that I often share with clients for smooth makeup application.Literally NOTHING to do with me wanting to return because I DONT WANT IT.After I replied with informing them I want nothing to do with it and dont want to be charged, they stopped all communication with me. Misleading advertisement on try before you buy. I felt bait and switched.I was told I'd be charged $5 to ship now. and charged full amount if I tried it and liked it AFTER 2 weeks and if I kept it. I contacted them immediately and told them to cancel the order and I'd go elsewhere. They said they couldn't stop the order, they sent it anyway.And they said there was some screen during the check out process that said they would charge a retainer right away, which if there was it was sneaky, and really just makes the whole schtick about try before you buy null and void.From the day I received it until I sent it back was within their 2 week timeframe.I was charged the whole amount right away. Even though I told them to forget it, I said don't send it I don't want it, they sent it anyway.It's not about the money, as I spend a lot of money on make up. That's not the issue.I would have gladly have paid whatever they'd asked if they had done the transaction the way they said they were going to do it, if it didn't feel so sneaky.And I really am not one to complain...until it gets past a certain point.I had to spend time w my bank disputing the charge for the initial transaction, which eventually got back onto my account.I tried the make up, since it was sent to me anyway.. The offer I used was a 14 day free trial of foundation with free gifts and no shipping, no upfront money and if I liked it, pay retail of $44 , keep the free gifts. Sounds too good to be true? Of course it was. The "free gifts"- a make up brush, liner and concealer. Nice foundation and I gave the rest to Goodwill as I don't use them. I expected a bill for the auto ship discounted price of $35.20 ( shipping is Always? free- but later in the site it changes to- free if over $50) The bill- $77. Shocked and out raged. I was fortunate. My debit card # had been changed due to theft so these crooks couldn't steal from me. Charge was declined. My emails to il makiage went unanswered. Have you noticed the responses from the business to each complaint? I heard a lot of great things about IL Makiage, so I decided to give them a try. I filled out the questionnaire to receive my free trial before I committed. They sent an email confirming my trial was sent and let me know that there would be a hold on my card. PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER - the 'trial' is for a full bottle. If you like it and decide to keep it then your card will be charged for the full price of the foundation ($44); not just the sample cost of shipping, which was $5. I was not expecting this kind of commitment when I ordered the trial. Typically, companies will send a small (one to two days worth) batch for testing and if a customer decides to commit, then they will return to purchase more. This is the only reason I knocked them down to 4 stars. I think they would find more customers willing to return if the trials did not make them commit to the purchase within 14 days of receiving it. I understand that they probably did this to avoid extra cost in sample packaging and to avoid extended shipping lags in the instance that a customer may want to purchase the product. After taking the questionnaire and receiving my 'trial.' I found that the foundation was a much darker tone than my true skin color. I tried to fill out the questionnaire to the best of my ability and answered as truthfully as possible. I was expecting it to possibly be a shade off, but it was quite a few shades off. It had an orange tone to it, as if I had been cooking a chicken in the roaster for 3 hours. I'm very fair skinned, so this shocked me. I do have to say that the consistency of the product was amazing. It was light and not cakey at all. However, I did end up returning my product the following day of receiving my trial. The customer service rep, Emma, was very empathetic to my experience and was willing to go above and beyond to help make my experience a better one. She assisted me by giving me a new sample to try at no charge. I ended up having my sister help me fill out the questionnaire this time to get a different perspective of my skin tone. I got my first order and the color did not quite match my skin tone so I went to the website and said I wanted to replace it with a new color. They said to keep the first bottle free and they would send out a new color for me to try. Awesome... after that I got about ten emails in a row saying I canceled my subscription or my order was being processed or they were sending me a new color etc... I was confused and assumed it was a technical computer glitch... then the day the new color arrived there were 2 packages... I was confused because both packages contained the new foundation color... weird! So I contacted them and said, hey just so you know, you guys sent me a duplicate bottle of foundation. I don't want to be charged for a second bottle so I'm letting you know. The responded telling me if I don't want to be charged, (for their mistake) I need to send it back, and make sure it weighs exactly what the label says or I'll be charged. (I don't have a scale) then I need to take it to *** or I'll be charged (I live in the country and don't drive and all we have nearby is ups). And do it within 14 days or I'll be charged... so I didn't order it but now I have to do all this to avoid being charged? I replied that I'm in the country, I'm disabled, and I don't have any transportation or even know where a *** store is and that even *** will send someone out to pick returns up... I said I guess if you want to charge me for a product I didn't even order then I'll just send back the one I did order too and cancel my subscription if they can't be more helpful because I don't want to deal with this in the future. They responded saying they canceled my subscription (what?!) And I did order the product and am responsible for returning it. I told them why would I order TWO of the dame color on the dame day, that I've never even tried before?! I said I ordered one! It wasn't right, I filled out their form and got sent a second one (that's two) now I have THREE bottles total it makes no sense! I was perfectly comfortable paying for what I ordered but I can't pay for two of the same thing I didn't even order! Early today if I had wrote this review I would of left it 1 star because their customer service is just awful, they only have e-mail to contact them at and they hardly get back with you. I finally got a hold of someone through their *** account, can you believe that haha but because of the help I got from this person earlier I'm leaving 2 and it's only because of that one person and because I really do love their Woke Up Like This foundation. It matches my skin color to a T. Now in the summer time I might have to get a different color but this will last me a long time because I don't wear make up but MAYBE 3x a week, maybe lol Anyways grab a chair and some popcorn cause this might be a tad lengthy. Well yes obviously I know I can change my own info in my own account with anyone generally speaking. But I forgot I made an account so at this time I'm thinking I didn't have one that I checked out as a guest. So I was like I'll just double check and see if I made one or not, I try to log in, I'm unable to it says invalid email or password. So I thought okay I'll make an account. It says there is already an account associated with my e-mail address. So I try to recover it, now it said if there was an account with that e-mail then I'd get an e-mail haha well obviously. Since I'm using my work e-mail and it's being filtered as spam I'll get an e-mail from the IT team e-mail saying there could be harmful content and I choose if I want it delivered or not, well normally these things are time sensitive (the reset links) I wouldn't get the e-mail from the IT team til after the e-mail from ilmakiage had already expired. ugh But the second e-mail I received from someone there after I tried to give them the low down on what was going on they made it seem like I was doing something wrong after I told them I've tried multiple times and I was getting the same result. They said try doing this and this and this and then see if it works. Rubbed me the wrong way. That was the last e-mail I got from them. I e-mailed them like 5 more times hahah but whoever helped me on the *** end and for anyone else in the future on now if you're having issues with them try *** I guess

On Sept 8th IL Makiage charged my credit card for an item I did not purchase, and I cannot get through to the company, naturally based on the reviews. I want to get the money back! $38.34. This company fraudulently charged my credit card on Sept 8th, 2023, for something that I did not purchase. I cannot get through to the company of course to find out why what and when and also to cancel any future relationships with this company, if any should exist.

On Friday evening 8/18/2023, I initiated a "try before you buy" transaction through your FaceBook advertising using my PayPal account. The advertisement said that the purchase was a trial and "try before you buy" to see if the foundation met my expectations. However, after submitted the purchase, I noticed a credit card charge of $72.34 difference of the total charge of $82. This charge was not authorized and appears to be a bait and switch transaction. I previously had a subscription with Il Makiage, but canceled after my last order in April of 2022. Now, over 1 year later, I noticed a charge to my credit card, and today received a package that I did not order. I emailed customer service, as there is no telephone number available anywhere on the website, and was informed that I chose “auto-replenishment” at checkout. This was 1 YEAR AGO. I have not ORDERED OR RECEIVED ANYTHING IN 1 YEAR. I was told I could “easily” cancel my subscription by logging onto their website. Except that it is not an option to cancel anything anywhere on the website. I have sent 2 emails trying to explain this, and have had no response.
