Hi,

ICICI Bank Mayur Vihar Phase- 1 , New Delhi 110091 branch offers a facility of cash deposit in packet to facilitate its customers not being in queue BUT the account is credited after 4 hours. Surprsingly, the facility rather proves pathetic since they have NO coordination with their clearing department. If any inward cheque hits your account, it will be bounced unpaid inspite of the fact that you have desposited suffficient amount there. Be careful in using this facility. They talk about reletionship and customer service but before returning the cheque , they do not even call you though they ask customers to write quote their contact numbers everywhere !

I also suffered once when I deposited a high value cheque at 8 30 AM for same day clearing and the same day a inward cheque of almost 1 /10th value of the high value BANKERS CHEQUE deposited, was returned unpaid by the BRANCH MANAGER who said , he cannot do anything until such the bankers cheque is cleared in the evening.

Dear sir,
On 6th August 2017 i have withdrawl Rs.20000 from my account .But it was deducyed 25000 from account.I have already complained 2 times in your customer care.But they are saying as it was SBI ATM Branch, they asked SBI for investigating, but SBI has reported that i have withdrawledRs. 25000, whrere as i have only received Rs.20000 from the ATM.I punched the card for the fifth timefor Rs.5000(after Rs.20000), but money did not come out from ATM Machine.

Sir, I am the customer of ICICI for the last 2 years.Rs.5000 means a big amount for me.Please check this issue as soon as possible.My name is sarbari Choudhury.My mail id is mona_chowdhuri@yahoo.co.in

I dont want to disclose my ph no and account no on net.Please resolve my problem .

pre closure of vehicle loan -penalty charging @about 5.68% is exhorbitant. Even for genuine reasons, they do not listen and riding high with the customer. never delivers NOC within 15 days. After closure, they have not delivered even after two months. after several attempts, they now say that they will forward "duplicate"
Two days before, desk service people advised it will be sent soon. It is clear that by telling "duplicate" they are liars and cannot be depended upon. When I demanded the blank cheques they replied that they are meant not for return and will be destroyed. How can i trust a liar.
it is certainly, losing its initial charm from the youngsters and already echoed its dwindling market share and decrease in its share price. Beware with icici

Hi,

I have ICICI savings account and taken ICICI personal loan.
I have been submitting all the EMIs on time by cheques.
But still ICICI is showing 29000 rupees due and have locked my saving account without prior information. I am unable to withdraw amount, cant even do online transactions.

Please help me to sort out this issue.
ICICI is not at all helpful.. there employess talk roudly, they dont have any details n still argue with customers, i have all the proofs of EMI payments. Everytime they charge soem extra money without any reason.. i have worst experience n I suggest everyone to not deal with ICICI

myself surinder kumar, contact no.[protected].I have never applied for credit card but i am receiving various calls from icici bank regarding credit card.Not only this the repesentative of the bank or some agencies are inquiring about me from my friends circle. I have never filled any form for applying credit card.I donot know from where they are getting my number.Today i got a call from chandigarh number [protected] and one mobile number [protected].The repesentative told her name as priya from icici bank.Kindly check the whole matter and reply me as soon as possible.

Dear sir,
One of the person he had called me from the mobile phone (No- [protected])and he has told me i am calling from ICICI bank bangalore credit card division but he has not told designation, batch no and also name only he was discussing about payment after few minute he has used rough languages against me and customers of all ICICI bank, he was telling daily i am ###ing everybody and also i can ### to you. After few minuites he has send same SMS on the on my mobile phone.
If this persons has realy working in ICICI bank how he can used this type of wording against custermer of ICICI and against me. Kindly send details of this persons like name, Batch no, location, designation and full address of the branch.
Also i am forwarding same mail to all of my friend, relative, collegeges and one copy i will display on the notice board of my orgnization as well as relative officer of govt of india and media also.

This is renuka kaur, i have a complain that i have made a big mistake by opening an account in your bank .From the day i have opened the account i had to visit your bank for every small reasons. I was told that on the basis of my husbands account i can open the account as i am a house wifewe filled the form, submitted the documents of my husbands and mine and waited for 2 weeks when there was no response from the bank we had to visit the bank later we came to know that my form was not process because of my address proof but the bank didnt bothered to inform us.Then we came to know that if i open the account, my husband should have balance of 25000 in his acc every quartly and we were not informed about this by the executive in the branch, even he didnt had any detailed product information.Then we shifted to womans acc in which i had todeposit 2017 every month. I had given 3rd as the date of deposit.Again i had to visit the bank on 5th to remind your bank about my recurring deposit to trasfer it.executive in the bank told us tht i can change my address only by submitting address proof he said rent agreement will do on my husbands name and our marriage certificate will do he didnt told us about registered agreement for that again i had to visit the branch several times .And now when i logged in my acc on net my name was spelled wrong inspite of giving all the required document I have a complain against that executive Sachin in the magarpatta branch who doesnt have any knowlege of acc opening procedure and given us wrong information about the acc opening whenever we visited and the last thing i believe my acc is a womans acc where woman can have equal rights and doesnt have any problem, is this the way your bank treat every woman after opening the acc because i had to visit your branch 100 times since i had opened the acc for every small reason

I am Devi. I have an ICICI credit card, but I am not using that card. That credit card customer peoples applied for Medicard and they them self allocate that card for me, i even cancelled that medicard. But I am not having that cancellation number. Now they detect Rs.4128.45 from my debit card account on 04/08/2017 and 6245 on 05/05/2017 without my knowledge. After transaction also they have not inform me. For any queries please call me at [protected]. Now they are asking me to pay more regarding this issue. I was completely dissatisfied about the response and the function. This is very much cheating way of the customers.

I had made an online transfer of Rs.50000/- to Andhra bank SB Account on 07-Apr-2017.
On ICICI website the transfer is shown successful and a debit entry is also made on ICICI Account.
However there is no credit of the same amount on Andhra Bank SB Account as of 08-Apr-2017.

On enquiry with Andhra Bank, the staff has informed that no such transaction has
been taken place and asked us to contact ICICI Bank.

I am totally disappointed with this type of services of ICICI Bank.
At first When I contacted Customer Care they responded and said it took 24hours to transfer the amount.
But the Beneficiary Account has not been credited yet.After registered complaint, they now
saying it took 3 days to process my request.

I am sure that i will now experience these banks blaming the other for this deficiency in service
and in turn we will be running from one bank to another to get this rectified.

I am Narender Singh having Icici credit card no. ...8001, regst. Mobile [protected]. I have 30, 000/- limitation in my credit card for purchasing. In that I have already activated an insurance policy so I have 27415/- limitation of purchasing. On 09-04-10 I called Customer care and asked him my maximum limit of purchasing he did confirm me the same amount(27, 415/-). Further I told him "I am going for purchasing of laptop amount of 27000/-". he replied yes you are allowed and you can purchase today for this amount. After that I went Nehru place, it is 40 km from my house, for purchasing laptop.

There the merchant swapped the card for 27000/- but he got an error of decline from Icici bank. I called customer care again about 5 pm on 09/04/10 and asked the problem. He replied me " You are not allowed for this transaction". I asked why I m not allowed though that amount in my limitation & I did confirm before purchasing. He did not give me satisfactory answer. I asked him to transfer my call to your senior. I asked him the same question "why I m not allowed though that amount in my maximum limit and I had confirm it before coming here, far 40 km from my home". He misguided me about half hour and I did not get my question’s answer. I asked him to transfer my call to your Manager. I asked the manager(Mr. Parmod, Senior Manager) the same quotation. He replied me that you have penalties in the past that is why you are not allowed. I told him that I had cleared all the amount of your bank before & I did confirm before coming here 40 km from my house. He accepted mistake of his phone baking officer.

I asked him if I had penalties in the past then now what is the new amount limitation of purchasing of my card. He replied me “ I don’t know & I cant tell you, it will be clear on swapping of card”. He was not sure what is my maximum limit of purchasing on card.

So I request you to give the solution of following equations...

1. Will Icici Bank going to take action against the phone banking officer whose mistake admitted by the manager(Mr. Parmod).

2. If you had decreased my maximum limit then why Icici bank did not inform me. If you had not decrease the limit of my card then will icici bank going to take action against the manager.

3. What is maximum limit of my credit card and what amount of purchasing I can.

I have applied for an ICICI bank Fixed Deposit for Rs 20, 000 on 26th october 2017. The applcation number is 428178. An ICICI bank executive came to collect the Deocuments from my office on 26th. I gave a CHeque Payable at UTI bank dated 1st Nov 2017 and i was told by the executive that the FDR would start from the day my Cheque is cleared fom the bank. After a Lot of delay I finally got my Card which would identify my Fixed Deposit. No intimation was made by the respective bank about the Fixed deposit number and other details.
I called up customer care so many times and then finally was able to fetch the details about my Fixed Deposit. It was really shocking to know that my Fixed Deposit was started from 6th od december 2017.

The cheque that i gave got cleared from my bank account on the 12th nov 2017. And accordingly my FIxed deposit should have started from the 12 Itself. I had also logged a complaint with the ICICI customer care with the SR number SR-[protected] but no action has been taken yet.

On asking the bank about the delay no justified reason has been given so far. I personally visited the GK-2 Branch a few days back and met Mr Rochak and he promised me of sending me the details of the delay but nothing has been recieved yet.

Though i have got my FD cancelled now and hope to get back atleast my 20, 000. I just fail to uderstand where was my Money from the date 12-Nov 2017 to the 5th Dec 2017 that is some 24 days.

I would like you to send across this complaint to the bank And make sure that the bank takes the necessary action. the bank has been giving advertisment on Television saying Quotes like "Hum hai na" and then providing such kind of customer service is just soooo redicilous.

I am a victim of ICICI NRI banking service. I have been using this service since March 2017 and have experienced delays in remittance to beneficiarys account. Normally the amount should reach into the account within 5 working days through electronic transfer. But sometimes, they do the payment through a DD (which isnt too bad, though slows down the process).

This month, I transferred the money on 4th and on the 10th May recieved an email from a Customer Service Officer calle Mr. R.Promod Kumar informing that the amount was sent through NEFT to the beneficiarys bank and they should recieve it within 7 working days. Its 25th may and there is no sign of this money.

I have been trying to contact the customer care everyday -through emails and phones, which is quite expensive. But, the numbers never seem to work and if picked up by any chance nobody seems to have any solution, always saying thats not the right service. One Mr. sayed Masood Ghori also replied saying they would update me within 3 working days and this is the end of 3rd day, I still havent recieved this promised update!

I send this money to help my retired parents to support them and due to this delay they have been suffering so much, their cheques have bounced (they will have to pay some penalties) and their general health is suffering too.

This is to bring to your notice the struggle and inconveyance which the customers are facing in getting delivery of their alloted TATA Nano Car.

I had booked Nano online through ICICI with great enthusiasm. I was lucky enogh to get an allotment in the first lot, July-Sep09.

When i processed my documents with ICICI bank well withing the time frame.Since then, i have not got any response from them on my application status, even though i have been chassing them them on daily basis. Now after 10 days when i finally got hold of their guy over phone, he says they will not convert booking loan into auto loan.

I really doubt if they were actually interested in converting this loan into auto loan in the first place. They asked me documents as if i was asking for a 1 crore loan. Anyway, i still provided them whatever they demanded for. But since then they never got back to me after that, proved that their intentions were not right.

I would say that i have been literally harassed by them. I wonder why they actually agreed for booking amount. May be they thought of earning a huge interest amount on the basis on just paying booking ammount.Now that they have filled their pockets, they want to get out this.

This has been a very bad experience and you definitely need to escalate this matter for the sake of customers and customer satisfaction.

I have been going through the nightmare from ICICI Bank. Though I have been sending them mails and following up regularly. The only prompt action from them is - they send me a classical message saying 'We understand your concernns, your service request is so and so and we will get back to you in 2/3 days". But after few days the service request gets closed automatically without any action.
I have sent mails to customer care, NRI manager, NRI helpdesk, plus to the Branch Manager through online message. But the result is the same - no action; Here are my difficulties in the past couple of months;

1. I had opened a DEMAT account on 16th July 2017. A representative named Nishant had come to Fort branch to collect the copies of the documents and my application. He assured me the process takes few days, but he would get in touch with me. As there was no updates from him, I called him several times on his mobile ([protected]), he was not answering the call at all. On 2nd August he answered my call, in which I reminded him about my Demat account. He said in few days he would ensure I get the updates. But sofar nothing happened.
I called him on 4th September several times and reminded him about it, he said the officers delayed the process to verify my documents (Hope he says the truth), and he took my address, promissing me to deliver the welcome kit at my residence at Masjid Bunder. But as usual - nothing happened. Next day I sent him an SMS saying you havent sent the person with the welcome kit. No response from him sofar.

2. I had called Mr.Praful to speak about Salary account and I thought he might be able to help me on the demat account issues and other concerns I have with ICICI Bank. He gave me a reference of Sheetal Gadkari, I spoke to her and she asked me to put all my concerns by email, which I did. She neither acknowledged the receipt of my email, nor she actioned. I called her after two days to check if she received the email, she is suggesting me to call someone else as she was on leave. I requested her if she can forward my number to the right person and make me speak with them. She said she would, but again - nothing happened. I wrote email after few days to ICICI Bank, NRI Manager, Helpdesk with cc to Sheetal Gadkari - but no action sofar. I guess incompetant team of ICICI Bank doesnt care customer.

3. I had gone on a project to Saudi, as the payment is US$ and sent directly into our bank account (NRI). I called NRI Personnel (Mr.Chaitanya of Mira Road branch), asking if there are any steps I need to follow; He said nothing, just note the swift code and they can do the tt (wire transfer) into my account. I also wrote to ICICI Bank, they replied me the same. But when the wire transfer happened, they were prompt in deducting the amount from the sender bank but never credited into my account. After almost 10-12 days when I am following up, Mr.Chaitanya is telling me stories, saying due to RBI guidelines, we are unable to accept the amount. When I asked why it was not mentioned earlier? He said he started telling stories, saying he doesnt have access to emails, he is not allowed to mail me. I wrote to Customer care, they finally replied to me saying they have instructed the Mira Road branch to credit into my account. But when I contacted Mira Road branch through mails, there is still no action. This is 16th day and both my invoices (US$ 3600 and US$ 6800 are not credited into my account sofar). I called Mr.Chaitanya, he rejected my call and sent me SMS, saying he is in a training and he would call me back. He neither called me back, nor accepted my call next day.

4. I had opened an account with Fort branch ICICI, I was given online login/password. When I tried to login, the passwords given were not working. I raised this concerns couple of times, but there is no proper response from ICICI Bank.

5. I had a call from ICICI Lombard in 2017 about its full package insurance. The representative clearly mentioned that all the sicknesses will be covered as part of the policy. I took a policy by paying 15000 through credit card. But after 6 months when someone else saying a different story, he says, for the first year they dont cover all tests, only after 1 year or 2 years I can avail all tests. Now looking at the way ICICI bank staff treating its customers, I opted to close my insurance. I was given call by someone, asking me to renew the policy. I asked him I have few medicine bills of Rs.500 can I claime? He says yes I can claim if I renew. Meaning I need to pay 15000 to get 500 refund. Sounds like the person either came from Andaman Nicobar or he considers me I came from Andaman Nicobar. Just wondering what kind of cartoons ICICI Bank is hiring.

ICICI Bank has become truly unprofessional and careless. I have all the communication prints which I want to send to Mrs.Chanda Kochar. Hope she cares the grievances of customers. This is really getting ridiculous to see such a bad service from ICICI Bank.

My ICICI BANK LOAN ACCOUNT NO: LPBNG00008824429

I had taken a personal loan of Rs.100000/- (One Lakh Only) from ICICI bank. Due to recession there was a huge fall in my business & i could not continue paying my emi's, here is when i got an offer from ICICI bank team to settele my loan at Rs.60000/- & they issued a settlement letter for the same Ref-(T32/PL/BLR/173743/2017-156).

In which it says that i have to pay it in two installments ie.

1st installment Rs 25000/- on 30/06/09
2nd installment Rs 35000/- on 30/07/09.

I tried to arrange money but failed to do so & i decided to pledge the little left over gold that i had & arranged Rs 25000/- on 30/06/09.

But days were getting worse in my business & i totally failed to pay the balance money before my due date given to me. But during the course i kept my self close to the bank employee by name Mr.Raam & i was updating my status. Finally the due date crossed & they kept silent. Further i followed it up frequently & took further extension period for the balance due from the concerned employee verbally.

Then after almost one year i got a call 0n 27 August 2017 from a collection manager from ICICI bank stating that my PL has to be closed immediately & told me to pay the balance amount ie Rs 35000/-. i accepted for it & he gave me an option to pay in two splits.When i asked him about the closure letter he said that for settlement we do not get closure letter but we get NOC & to get NOC the due amount needs to be paid first & he promised me that the same old settlement letter stands good for the same.

But i clearly told him that there is a clause stating that if i do not make full payment before 30/07/2017, the the settlement letter given to me will not be valid. but he said that not to worry since i will be having the payment paid receipts which will sum up to Rs.60000/- ( My settlement amount) i will have full rights to get my NOC by showing the receipts.( Receipts Nos-[protected]-Rs.25000/-, 2)[protected]-Rs.25000/-, 3)[protected]-Rs.10000/-)

But now when i get back to them for my NOC they are saying that what ever i have paid is gone for my loan repayment & not for settlement.I am already in deep financial crunch & ICICI is further expecting more money from me to close this loan.

I humbly request if anybody could take action on this issue & help me to get my loan closed. Because of this my name has gone to CIBIL and my life is in real mess.

Please help me.

DEAR SIR,

I have an account with ICICI bank and i have deposited amount 135000 on 4/5/2017 and after 13 days they sending they are sending letter that the amount which u have deposited in which there were one discrepant note of 500 which they have directly deducted from my account. As whenever we are going to deposit amount at the bank they are checking the same amount and also checking if any discrepant note is their or not and they are also checking with carefully, after 13 days they are coming and deducting the same. and when asked to their executive they are not giving proper answer and saying it will be deducted from your account.

i want to take legal action against the bank and i dont whether than discrepant note is mine or not ? they have not given me any proof just send me letter which i have attached.

ICICI is totally hope less bank with bunch of ### holes working there. Wrong promises and unethical business practices. I transfered money from USA to India using money2india service. they say it will take 5 days to transfer the money. they deducted the money from my US back very next day, 10 days passed nothing happened. I sent a mail to customer service, they are saying your transaction got rejected due to mis match on the account holder name. If thats the case why did they not remit my money back in to my US account, why did not inform me by email. They simply took the money and kept quite until I asked them. What a bunch of ### holes. If you do business this bank dont assume things, there are bunch of thieves ready to steal your money and keep quite, and if you ask them they will say "yes we stole it, whats wrong" they dont even explain what is going on. bunch of ###ers.

Sorry my complaint is not redressed till now. I am very upset. This attitude of icici bank is not acceptable atall. Please take some action soon

He had shown me his identity card and visiting card also. He was having a zero balance account in the janakpuri branch also. It is sure that bank will not open a zero balance account without sufficient proof. I think some of the staff of icici were also involved in this case.

The bank refused any information about him till police comes there. And police refused to take any action against defaulter. I was helpless. I talked to the bank manager to give the details of the account holder. I showed him my complaint in the axis bank, police station and check which was submitted in that branch. No one was there to listen to me.

Hi,
My mother recently opted to own a locker in the ICICI Bank, Neyveli Main Bazaar Branch. And he opened an account in the same bank.
He made a deposit of around 25000 Rs. And then an amount of Rs. 10000 was debited as the Locker fee.
In spite of this the Bank manager insisted to take an Insurance/Mutual Fund for 7 Years with a recurring payment of Rs.50000. For which he got signs from my mother.
He convinced that this is a standard procedure and is required to acquire an Locker.
I am 100% sure this could not be the standard procedure. Please let me know how to take this forward.

Getting back to my mother about this she said - She was told by The Manager that she has to take a Recurring Deposit (with recurring payments of 50000 INR). She was insisted only then she can avail a locker facility.
So She came to an assumption that this is necessary and she said she will take an RD. But the manager has made her sign all documents for the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. We came to know this only when we didnt see the RD account created rather we received an ICICI prudential life insurance Document.
My mother was not explained of all the details of the policy either. She was under the assumption that she was getting an RD account.
This is pure cheating and I am a customer of ICICI for more than 10 years and cheating like this is really making us think back on the quality of the bank.
I would like to hear from ICICI bank or ICICI prudential Life Insurance on this. We do not want to continue the Life Insurance Scheme. We are not interested with that. We just need an RD account rather.
