This is related to 2RJ/3JS Jharsuguda sambalpur DMU Passenger running between Jharsuguda and Sambalpur and 4JS Sambalpur Jharsuguda DMU passenger. This train has not run in its scheduled time in any single day. The distance between both the stations is only 49 Kms and travel time is 1hr 05 minutes but the train departs 1.00 hr late every day from Jharsuguda which is its originating Station and accumulates late on the way too. Consequentially it also departs sambalpur at an unknown time basing on the late, with almost no passengers due to its unscheduled departure time causing loss to public money. It is unfortunate in which route buses runs overloaded trains runs on loss. Will the Railway ministry will look into the matter and take steps to check the loss of hundreds of man hour loss of students and employees using this train?
Every day, morning 8pm to 9pm. Kalwa station. Its like animals being transported from one place to another. I have a first class pass... but can make out people from 2nd class traveling in the 1st class compartment. If the government cannot increase the no. of trains at least it can make an effort to make sure people with the right ticket are traveling in the respective class.
A small correction, its from 8am to 10am
I appreciate the efforts taken by Indian Railways for safety and security of its passengers. However, railways never take efforts to sort out the problems created by its own staff. Their staff feel that they are owners of Railway and have power more than that of the Minister. If one travels from Mumbai CST to Poona, during peak hours, we can see that employees of railways under pretext of staff board in each and every compartment, can't railways allot their staff a particular compartment so that other passengers can travel freely.
Secondly, for allotting reservation, the booking staff have mutual understanding with outsider /agents. One cannot say that booking clerk is doing charity to an agent who used to meet the booking clerk inside and outdide station.
I can challenge the Railway Minister that in any time we can get confirmed sleeper class tickets and also can confirmed the waiting list ticket particularly from Mumbai CST. These booking clerks in consultation with agents, spoil the image of Railways.
I appeal to the Hon'ble Railway Minister Shri Laluprasad Yadav, I appeal to the Railway Board Chairman, I appeal to the Station Master Mumbai CST to make efforts to stop the mal-practices conducted by their staff particularly in Mumbai CST by putting special task force in computer centre.

I am first class traveller, who travels from borivali to vashi everyday. To avoid rushy crowd in the train and get some comfort while traveling I travel by first class compartment. But nowdays it has become quite annoying traveling by first class since, beggars, second class travellers, eve teasers & eunuchs also travels in the same first class compartment. If we protest against them, they react as if they have right to travel by first class even without the right authority.
I would appreciate if you can do something to avoid such nuisance to make our traveling better and comfortable. Thank you.
the new addition of berth in sleeper class between side upper & lower had increase 9 berth in compartment but it is more congested, unhealthier, unadjustable

the 8478 Kalinga Utkal Express cancelled via Rourkela Route and running in a diverted route since last 2 month due to the devastating flood causing damage to railway route in between Balasore and Kharagpur.This is the only train from Rourkela to Delhi and also only train to Balasore from Rourkela. We Rourkela people are suffering a lot due to the diversion of the train. Though many unimportant trains are being restored after the reparing of the route, this 8478 Kalinga Utkal Express still running in diverted route. Every time we get a new date and date is being posponed for this train.
We face immense problem for the diversion of the train. Therefore we request you to to run 8478 Kalinga Utkal Express in original route.

i was travelling by Matsyaganda on the 6th of jan. Before the train could arrive the tracks were full of excreta( slang: deep ###) i happened to speak to a cleaner but he refused to pick up the poop and deals with only papers and bottles. Can the indian railways look into this as the platform stinks very badly even after the train arrives

I regulary used to have journy by Indian Railway. But when I want to purchase any cold drinks from rail counters excessive charges were charged each time (e.g. 500ml Slice bottle MRP Rs 24 is sold for Rs 30). And if you ask for the rate difference, their orrogance comes out. Please do something on this issue if anybody can. This is happened with me on bhusawal station. By Pune Nagpur express.
Train is not started at its source station and when I tried to cancel waiting list E-ticket, I have got a message "The chart was prepared for this ticket you can not cancel this ticket". This is nothing but cheating. Govt organization is cheating people.
They are not refunding and in addition to this they are saying "waitlist ticket = with out ticket".

I have complained vide complaint No.097383 dt. 27.10.10 regarding following services, but no action has been taken: (1) AC in the railway coach was not functioning even after repeated reminders (2) No cleaning of the compartment done since my boarding at Gwalior (3) Plenty of cockroaches in the compartment (4) Even the acknowledgement of my complaint has not been sent.

nowadays the quality of service and food being provided in the trains are very poor. the food and tea etc that are provided by the irctc in the trains are of the worst possible quality that can be provided. i dont know what the indian railways is doing ?

I was to travel to raipur from bhopal on 19th april so to attend an urgent meeting on 20th at 11 AM but i got to know at 6.30 PM on 19th that the said train i.e chattisgarg express is delayed for 4 hrs, since start. My concern is, when the railway officials are knowing that the Train No 18238 is delayed since its start then why the concerned & so called sincere railway officials have not taken any corrective steps, to avoid more delay.

This is regarding “Delhi Jaipur super fast special” run late almost daily by one hour. Right time is 4.10 but habitual come late to platform around 4.10 from NCR. I hope the timing should be change to 5 pm which help passenger coming from office taking short leave.
No action for the culprit.
Also thought its sf but someone daily pull chain at Rewari and hundreds of passenger get down. This should be stop.

I was having a Train Ticket Bearing PNR no - [protected] in train no 18477 in 3AC from TATANAGAR to HZT NIZZAMMUDDIN, but was not provided 3 AC coach from TATANAGAR to JHARSUGDA on my journey date i.e. 21/07/2011, inspite of paying full fare for 3AC. So I requset to concern authorities to return my balance amount.

while travelling from bangalore to ahmedabad on 07/08/2011, from surat I told TT to extend tickete upto jamnagar, but he refused to do so.
Why the tatkal charges are being calculated differently for different trains? For some trains I need to pay for the entire stretch (full train travel distance) and for some trains I can pay wherever I am travelling to. This is irresponsible and cheating act from whoever is making these policies.

I am Sayyed Mohammed Athar Zuhdi R/o 3377, Baghichi Achhaji, Bara Hindu Rao, , Delhi would like to express my deep concern to the worst situation of Delhi & New Delhi Platforms, and it is very much shameful to us as One of the Oldest Delhi inhabitants as our forefathers were blonged to this beloved Capital City of India. The Complaints as in the following :
1. The drainage system between track too worsen.
2. The sealing Fans are not sufficient
3. The Rickshaw pullers are not allowed up to the main Gates of Inner Entrance, even the sick and needy passengers can not move easily with the light belongings due to their ailing problems, when we are observing the the Three wheelers and private cars are allowed.

1. More than one time I travel 'Some time' by Ahmedabad Mail and the other by Shalimar Express up to Deoband U.P. A very strange thing is always before by observation is that, both trains are moving to connecting Destinations of Hindu Ma-ha Tirath Isthans. So Why one of both trains has no beautiful & comfortable coaches, better facilities and cleanliness like Ahmedabad Mail. If the Title : Mail & Express is going to be bifurcated on the basis of categories, so it indicates that Indian Government has no interest to serve to Devotees' Journey those pay their pilgrimage with full devotions in any chilling season.
Hope Our Request would be something to be considered in favour of the Nation.

The website is purposefully pulled down by a cartel of agents, officials, politicians to make money every day at around 8 am. No public will be able to book online tickets (Check how many tickets made for trains leaving on 25th were made online using tatkal quota at 8am to 8.30 am) particularly when it is long holiday days.
sir i'm from rourkela odisha, i want to know ur kind notice that it's found helpless in bhubaneswar railway ststion to catch the rau-bbsr intercity or other train even if we've the proper reservation tickets.pls help these passengers.
Respected Sir, I would like to bring to your kind attention that a train named MAHANANDA Express vide no.15489/15484 runs every day from Old Delhi Railway station to Aplipurduar Jn. But I am really sorry to say that this train never runs in time. I booked my tatkal ticket on 25th May vide PNR No.[protected] to travel on 26th May at 6:40 A.M (In the Morning), from Old Delhi to Alipurduar Jn.But now it is 5:00 P.M. of 27th May, 2013, till now no accurate information is being notified. Sometimes from 139 number, customer care executive sometimes informs that it may start at 11:50 p.m. tonight or 4 AM tomorrow in the morning.No accuracy from 139 also. We have come from Assam and since 25th June, 2013 we are on the platform of Old Delhi railway station in this scorching heat of Delhi. No proper arrangements of drinking water, no proper toilet facilities anywhere in the Old Delhi Railway Station. Moreover, Railway Police creates lot of problems of our goods/luggage. We have almost finished our money for buying of different foods.
Sir, quite often I travel on this train because of availability of reservation in this long distance. But every time it runs abnormal late.
Sir, I would like to suggest,
1.if the railway authority is not capable enough to manage and run this train properly, why don’t they completely withdraw the services of this particular train and harass the needy and helpless passengers?
2. As due to the mismanagement of the Indian Railway Authority, I had to face a severe consequence for which Indian Railway must pay me a great fine of Rupees. Twenty lakhs as the penalty which they have caused during this scorching summer.
3 If the Indian Railways can not provide basic necessary services, to their passenger who travel in the reservation compartment such as providing proper drinking water, proper sanitation, protection from useless police personnel, then again they must pay another ten lakhs to me for not capable of providing necessary services.
I`ll be grateful, if you kindly look into this matter seriously and inform me what necessary action you have taken in this complaint.

It is not just the northern India suffering from late running of trains over the
last 2 months. Last Tuesday, even the Karnataka Sampark Kranti express, a prestigious train from Bangalore to New Delhi arrived Kacheguda, late by almost 3 hours. What is more, it could never gain any time till it reached Delhi.
Today, I was tracking train No.163653 Kacheguda Nagercoil express, a newly introduced train. This train got delayed right at the start, reaching Mehaboobnagar, late by nearly an hour and is presently running late by almost 3 hours. Until about 2 months ago, most trains were running on perfect schedule.
Unable to understand how the system has so badly deteriorated in just about a couple of months.
a super fast train like jodhpur express(12308) always runs behind the schedule. it is sham to run such a train and rob the passenger their valuable time.

Train running late is not endurable. . I am suffering from past couple of hours to reach Mumbai on an outer.. my train is not getting signal to cross while other trains are passing by. Very poor management.
There are some trains such as Jharkhand Exp 12818 which run late by 9 hrs everytime. If you guys cannot make the train run on time, so why not change the time or schedule of those trains. This is really frustating. We pay so much in the name of superfast train and these trains always run late. Some action need to be taken by Modi govt.

Please note that I am a regular passenger to Bikaner from Kolkata. Towards which please note that on return journey from Bikaner the 12308 Jodhpur(Bikaner)-Howrah SF Express is always late by 4 to 5 hrs even in summer. The main late belt of the train is from Tundla to Mughalsarai. Upto Agra Fort the train is on an average is before time or hardly late by 10-15 mnts. But after crossing Yamuna bridge the real mess starts for the passengers. Further, please also note that after Allahabad upto Mughalsarai the train stops at each and every intermediate station, to which note that in the time table the only official stoppage is at Mirzapur. So please clarify the matter at the earliest.
