I have already stopped your ability to withdraw money from my paypal account and I also started a claim with paypal to recover those 3 months you stole from me. I also plan on contacting the better business bureau and report you there as well if I dont hear from you. My paypal email is [protected]@yahoo.com please put 3 months payments of 29.95 x3 months back into my paypal account to cease any further actions from me! Billy kimbro

Intelius three different charges posting to my bank account

I have 3 different charges pending to my bank account. One is in the amount of $19.95, $29.95, $39.95. I have no idea why I am being charged these amounts and what they are for. I simply just want what has been taken from me and given back. I am disabled and live on every penny I have. Some how this company got my credit card information and took money out of my account. I feel very violated and feel like this is fraud. I received an email saying my membership has been cancelled at 6:57am on a Sunday morning! What membership? I would have called right away had it not been a weekend. Nobody is there on a weekend you can speak to, and the only way to file a complaint with them is to call, no email method? If they had email complaints I could have filed one right away! I can't even call my bank. I expect that this company will make it right and put back those 3 charges back into my account. Looks like I'll have to order another debit card again because this one was stolen again!

Intelius scam!!! they are stealing my money!!!

Without authorization they are taking $29.95 a month out of my bank account. I paid for a one time search for $2.95 then a month and a half later they just began taking money out of my account with no way to remove my card from the profile nor is there an easy way to remove the account. I am so angry I want to drive to the home office and show them why you do not mess with people and why you do not steal from hardworking Americans.. I am at my limit and they refuse to even reply to my complaints. THIS IS A SCAM and if you do a white pages search you get the exact same information and its more up to date. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR BANKING INFORMATION YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Intelius complaint

I thought maybe l will use intelius so l filled out all my information even my credit card, as it said 0.99 or 0.95, but after l completed my information l read further and could not quite understand the charges and with that l decided not to request any information, so in short l have not received any information. I'm concerned as it looks like they plan to charge regardless that i've not used their service and theirs page is like a fly trap if that is so, don't l deserve the right to change my mind, especially that your business has not given me anything. L grid to remove my information but so far what it says to do to cancel is not there

I just signed up for one month o f classmates because I had been receiving emails that other former classmates had viewed or messaged me. When I went to the Web site, I discovered that this was not true. I have tried to cancel this, , but there is no way to do so. I hope the phone number is not bogus.

Intelius misleading advertising

I would like a full refund please. I have already paid for two different things and still do not have access to the records I originally was trying to purchase. I do not want to continue to be billed for any of your services. what I actually bought was not what I wanted. it was not explained clearly and seems to me that the intention was to trick people into having to spend more and more money. the whole thing is completely misleading. please refund all of my money immediately and cancel my subscription or I will have to contact the better business bureau. thank you.

Intelius intelius removed money from my bank account without my explicit knowledge or permission.

Intelius removed money from my bank account without my explicit knowledge or permission.
· there were absolutely no service or product rendered in exchange for the money intelius removed from my account.
· after contacting intelius several time to explain the details, intelius terms of service would not return the money even though no services were rendered.
· I made a small one time service purchase. intelius states that a clause during checkout entitled them to continue to bill for no additional request for service.
· the clause was not prevalent (hidden) because I was careful not to agree to or did I want any service contract throughout the initial purchase.
· most companies, with a reasonable business model, would consider this overlooked mistake grounds for a full refund.
· intelius has chosen to take the low road of hidden fees and contracts with a policy of not returning money for no service rendered.

Intelius unauthorized credit card charges

I signed up for a free one month of service, got the one phone number I was looking for and then cancelled before the free month was up, about September 10th 2016. Since then I have continued to get unauthorized charges for 29.95 a month for the months of September, October, November, December, January and February. Unfortunately, I was not receiving paper statements and did not notice the charges. I also have autopay set up on the credit card. I would like to request a full refund of all 6 charges of $29.95

Intelius phone lookup service

On February 4, 2017 I used the service to lockup a phone number.
The lookup cost $9.95. The information it provided was incorrect.

I expected that might happen and was not upset until I found they had signed me up for a Intelius Premier membership fee for $19.95, which they had already billed to my Chase credit card account.
I received a fraud notice from Chase, (I presume they are on the bank's watch list) and contacted the bank. I want the $19.95 charge removed and cancel any membership they signed me up for.

Intelius customer service

I paid 3.95 to get phone number of friend's sister, because I can't reach my friend. I know her sisters name, address and got her phone number free off the internet a couple of months ago. So I paid for simple information that said in a list it included the phone number.

When I got the report it did not provide the phone number but gave me an option to get her "current" phone number if I paid additional money.

Now my friend's sister has had her phone number for years. So, there is no "current" phone number different from her phone number that I saw free online a couple of months ago.

When I called their customer service I spoke to Cassie Sercombe and complained that they wanted more money for the phone number and asked for my money back I was told I should have read the fine print.

Intelius continued billing every month.

I am having the amount of $29.95 from my bank account from this company that I never signed up for. This has been going on for quite some time and I have been to my bank and they do not have any information on this company. This is the first I have found any thing on this company and I want these withdrawal's stop right now. This has been going on for quite q while but I just couldn't figure out how to contact then since I can't find a good phone number for them. If you have any information or a phone number that I can have so that I can contact them and talk to a live person that would be great. I am retired and on a fixed income, being only my monthly SS check so I do not need this unknown extra expanse taken out each month. Thank you. Contact information: e-mail address [protected]@yahoo.com. Thank you, Doug. Rust.

Intelius idnetity theft and fraud

Beware Of Intelius!

This is a fraudulent company very deceptive, corruptive, steals your identity your name and other personal information and then put in different other names and then if you click on a name that is similar to your last name but will show up as another name with your same last name but when you click on that name it will advertise your name and I found them doing this to me with server pages of the same related name but I had nothing to do with these other people. I requested the company to remove this false advertising of my name they refuse and will do it even more. This is a scam company and also will put false information about you and also will refuse your request to remove your information. They have an opt out but they do not honor that instead the more information you give to these ### the more they will have the opportunity to steal and then abuse it! They also work with the Government whom are also involved with this scam because they also make money out of abusing your good name and because they are the law they feel they can get away with this scam and I and my family are victims of this fraud and scam. Even when you think that the so called reputation companies are out there to help you well don't go to them they are the same way they will take your information and will resell it to other companies whom in return will sell your information falsifying the information and then try to charge you to take it off! They are all crooks! They are scums, frauds, identity theft is involved, abuse, and totally internet scam and all of the internet searches such as whitepages.com addressbook.com, checkmate.com, intstantcheckmate.com, mugshots.com, justmugshots.com, mobilemugs.com, Fraudbug.com, [redacted].com, Intelius.com, Amazon.com, Dirtsearch.com, Peoplefinders.com, Peoplesmart.com, Spokeo.com, peekyou.com, findita.com, perserch.com, Raider.com, Scout2.com, Reunion.com, Ancestory.com, Archieves.com, are all apart of this internet scam! So beware before you do anything on the internet! Scams are there of all sorts and it is a very good idea to not let these companies get away with fight them! So as far as I am concern I will do what ever is in my power to make people aware of this scam even US Dept. Of Education is well noted to scam students thousands of dollars worth of tax refunds! Don't let them get away fight against internet and other scam crimes even if the Government is involved don't let them get a way! Get them back! I am not sure but complaintsboard probably is also a part of this scam abuse and fraud! Put all these companies in their place DONT LET THESE SCUMS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! INSTEAD DO WHAT IT TAKES TO PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! Look at all the thousand of complaints and negative reviews for Intelius and others like them and DONT LET THESE SCUMS GET AWAY WITH CRIME!

Intelius wrong information

I recently Opted-Out my name from the the Intelius people search website. When checking their site after searching my name, they had wrong addresses, wrong relatives associated with my name. I submitted the needed information to Opt-Out and it appeared that they took down this misinformation. Now after checking their website a month later, I noticed that there is an individual with the same "first" and "last" name as me, but different middle name, different age, different gender, that is having several of my addresses and relatives being associated to their Intelius profile. This other person lives in states that I have never lived in, has a completely different middle name, has a different DOB, different gender, has different named relatives, and entirely different addresses than me - but is having some of my information aggregated in with theirs.

This is a dangerous thing and should be illegal. Publicly available information does not mean randomly aggregating different people's data into one wrong profile. An on line people search company or data broker that is posting wrong data or aggregating wrong data about someone needs to be held legally accountable.

The bottom line is - Intelius is not a reliable data source or aggregator of data. I my case, they did not follow instructions when errors were brought to their attention, have been incompetent, negligent, and have actually made things worse for me. I forgot to mention that in the past I have had to Opt-Out several times before from Intelius and they did not correctly remove data.

I am so angry at these people that I am contacting a privacy attorney (law firm) to see what options are available. I am hoping that the Federal and State internet-privacy laws soon change to give the consumer more power to leverage against companies like Intelius. Consumers should have the right to stop or correct wrong information from being disseminated whether it be from an online people search company or the actual data broker source. Hopefully more people that have similar bad experiences with Intelius voice their concerns or complaints to the FTC.

They are a total scam. Low lifes. If the government won't do something about these scammers maybe the people should. I see all of these complaints and no action.

Intelius intelius scam! beware

Intelius id theft protection is a scam. Instead of protecting your identity they will steal it! Intelius is actually a data broker. They collect personal data and resell it to the public. Intelius has very bad reviews and thousands of consumer complaints. They have been sued several times. Becareful, for $19.99 a month they will not do anything for you except pocket your money. They have no ability to freeze your credit report file if someone steals your identity. Why? Because, the top 3 credit reporting agencies experian, equifax, and transunion do not want to associate with this scam company named intelius. So, please beware and do your research first.

Bull ! Intelius illegally accesses people's credit files through Experian. This violates FCRA laws. The information you are selling is partially obtained from public records but, MAINLY, from their credit reports. How do I know ? Because Intelius sells Credit Reports and Credit Fraud Protection. As such, I know you have a partnership with Experian and your computer servers are connected. My reference is the ongoing federal FTC investigation of the relationship between Experian and Intelius. This investigation began December 2012 and is still ongoing. Intelius falls under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) but you deny this fact. SHADY SHADY BUSINESS !
PEOPLE: PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM. THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. THEY CHARGE YOU A RECURRING MONTH FEE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU NEVER SIGNED UP. I'M WAITING TO JOIN THE NEXT CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT WHEN THE FTC FINDS INTELIUS GUILTY OF ILLEGALLY ACCESSING PERSONAL CREDIT FILES AND NOT DISCLOSING THEIR WRONGDOING.
