I have booked 3 return tickets from Johannesburg to Uitenhage. Myself, my mother and my daughter boarded intercape bus from Park station on Thursday 29 September 2016. We boarded around 5pm. Not even half way through our journey the bus broke down. We were told another bus will be there within 20 minutes HOWEVER a bus arrived only 6 HOURS later. I am very upset because during that time no one once came to update the passengers regarding what's happening, not even a glass of water was offered by intercape keeping in my there was kids on board. The bus was steaming hot my daughter ended up getting nose bleeds. When the other bus finally arrived it took so long for us to leave. I eventually got out and asked a driver what was happening. Very angry I ask him can someone please update the passengers and tell us what's happening. He had the nerve to tell me I can't be upset with him, I must be upset with intercape. The new bus we receives was smelly, the arm rest where I was seated was broken and the toilet could not flush. After all this inconvenience when we eventually arrived in Coega we had to change busses again because this one needs to go back to Johannesburg. What happened to customers first. Yesterday I came back with Intercape only because I did not have time yo cancel my tickets and I arrived back in Johannesburg late again. The TV did not work and when I asked the driver why not he just said I don't know its probably signal problems. We pay for these services. My mothers return ticket is booked for Friday. I want my money back. I will never travel with intercape again. I will put this complaint on Hello Peter people should know about this horrible service.

As for buying a ticket in October for a route that is not working but not a glimpse of a warning in your website that this route is off due to taxi violence.

I bought the ticket however, asked for a refund on the same day and for my knowledge it was processed the same day. But to my surprise I have not received my money till to date.

Allow me to say if it was me owing you guys I would be serving two life sentences by now All I can say is I wish this message can reach someone with ears and revert back to me asap.

I don't wish nor refer someone to to use your services ever!

They take your money easily but refunding is a problem due to Samantha it's because the economic state of South africa terrible don't think you will get your money back

I bought a ticket from Oudtshoorn to Bloemfontein for my daughter the lady said the bus pick is at the pick n pay centre there where other people waiting there to for the bus the bus never pitched there and we miss the bus I phoned the headoffice to see where the bus is the lady said he will be there in 10minutes and than phoned back to say the bus is on its way to Willmore. I lock a call that same night the lady Samantha said that we will not be refunded for R1469 cause of the economic state of South africa but me a single parent have to give you money for nothing really. Intercape sleepiness can't possibly be serious

When I travel it’s either I fly or book a bus and look no further than Intercape. My most recent experience with Intercape (December 2021) from JHB park to PE was a wonderful one. I won’t forget this one bus driver’s name who goes by the name of Nkosi. I assume he thought I was gonna lay a complaint when I asked for his name. He’s very professional, excellent service and very friendly too. Not to mention how smooth the bus ride was. Intercape should have a tip option for their drivers

My girls travelled from Uitenhage to Bellville and boarded the bus at 7h08 last night. When they got to Somerset in the early hours of the morning she realised that her suitcase was taken to another bus. She got off to tell the driver that that is her bag thats being taken and she was told that her bag is in the trailor and she needs to get back on the bus. It is now 10h53 and my daughter gets tild every half an hour another half an hour. This is very frustrating to me as a parent as my daughter brought it under tge attention of the driver as and when it happened. She is currently being frustrated at the Bellville depot and she is tired from the travel. All this was created by the incompetent drivers that cannot even manage suitcases with tag numbers. I would think 10 times before I book my children on Intercape again. I think its pathetic and poor service. Regards, Samantha van Rensburg, [protected]
