The overwhelming amount of animals sin distress adverts!!
Please, I implore you to lessen these adverts. They cause more distress than anything! ITV3 seems to a continuous conveyor belt of these truly deplorable acts being carried out on animals.
They seem to be aimed at a particular age group too. As though they are being taken advantage of and or exploited. It truly is abhorrent the amount of these adverts are shown on every break throughout the day! Enough is enough. To that baby bear crying, the kittens and the PDSA. Too much.
Desired outcome: No more!!
ITV3
What has happened to the Emmerdale and Coronation Street Omnibus editions
that used to be on at the weekend. We watched these to catchup on the weeks programs. Over the Easter Weekend we had constant Carry on films one after another and now we have Midsummer Murders on all day. What is going on ? Nobody wants to watch these all day it is just lazy scheduling. With the constant adverts for Dormeo ITV should be able to afford some decent programs on this channel. Very disappointed with this change in programs please get back to normal. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Programs put back
ITV coverage of the protests during the Grand National
I wish to complain about the ITV covers of the Grand National during the protests by the Animal Rights activists. The 3 men commentary team did not provide an accurate description of what the protests was about. They focused only on how the horses are cared for by the trainers and stable teams. They challenged the protesters to go and see for themselves and visit the stables. After watching the race I realized that actually the protests were about the number of deaths that have occurred during racing and specifically the Grand National meeting at Aintree. This was never referred to. It seems that the real issue was never referred to and instead the commentators chose a completely different topic to dismiss the protests. This was disgraceful and an apology should be issued particularly since 3 more horses died during this meeting.
Desired outcome: An apology from ITV racing and better non partisan coverage in future
British’s got talent
The contestants should be aired before show
The Japanese act of farting had no talent whatsoever other than vulgarity.
Do you really consider this sort of act “talented “ or was it allowed just to provoke the public opinions?
Really it is a complete and utter disgrace that you consider we are all so stupid to think this is worthy of tv watching!

Grand National Coverage
I am writing to challenge ITV's continuing coverage of the Grand National, in particular the coverage on Saturday 15th April 2023, and the appalling bias of responses to the protests that preceded the race. There is nothing 'Grand' about this race, and for a 'Nation' that prides itself on respecting and caring for animals, it is a cruel anachronism. My family and I were so dismayed by this channel's attitude and its determination to champion this race, and others like it, that we have taken the decision to stop watching ITV and to investigate as many different ways as possible that will allow us to add our voice to the growing number of people who understand its true implications. Race horses often have staggeringly short lives before being sent for slaughter, and sustain fatal injuries trying to complete perilous races in the name of entertainment. I walked past a betting shop yesterday to find a group of men suggesting they lay bets on which horses wouldn't survive. I hope that many more people will continue to protest and to alert the public to the truth behind the racing industry. Dr Katherine Armond
Desired outcome: I would like ITV to cease their coverage of the Grand National and to air more documentaries that reveal the truth behind the racing industry.
BGT
Over the years I have watched, enjoyed, been thrilled, confused, and amazed by the acts in Britain’s Got Talent. However, last night’s farting performance was banal, childish and thoroughly disgusting. The end object of the show is to find an act good enough to perform in front of our new King. To put this revolting ‘performance’ through as a possibility is thoroughly offensive, and although King Charles has a great sense of humour, if he’d been watching I think he would very worried. To follow something like those marvellous children from Uganda is outrageous. I will make a point of never watching the show again.
Desired outcome: Clean up your act
Britain’s Got Talent
Saturday 15th April, episode 1 of the new series, had an act by a Japanese gentleman who fired darts at balloons to try and pop them, using his own ‘wind’. So we were subjected to seeing him lying on his back and placing a tube between his buttocks. Absolutely NOT family entertainment, and quite frankly, stomach turning. How can standards have dropped SO low?
Desired outcome: An apology issued
Grand National coverage
I wish to complain about unbelievably one-sided biased coverage of protests against the Grand National, denigrating and demonising the protesters who are heroes to a large section of the population. No attempt to understand or explain why the protests are happening, i.e. the needless deaths of horses being forced to run in a race that causes fatalities every year. The coverage broke all broadcasting standards. Appalling.
Loose Women 13/4/23 - Appalling Inappropriate Sexist Behaviour
Appallingly sexist behaviour by the Loose Women Panel towards Guest Mark Wright - I had the misfortune to see the female presenters drooling and suggesting that Mark Wright undress on todays programme. Had this been another programme with an all male panel acting in such a way towards a female guest there would probably have been a discussion about how inappropriate it was on Loose Women tomorrow lambasting the behaviour of it's male hosts. Talk about double standards, a cringeworthy, embarrassing watch which no doubt made the guest feel uncomfortable. The worst TV I witnessed for a long time and a shocking example to young women.
Desired outcome: An apology
Central news
Hi, you put a show out on the 30/3/23 on central news at 6.00pm it was on professional snaggers to the house building industry. It did not show any branding by main house builder but did show our excavators with our logo on.
The piece was about poor quality in the industry but had nothing to do with works by my company. I didn’t think you were allowed to show branding without permission?

Inappropriate guests on television
Hey
As a SA survivor I think you guys have the audacity to have Philip schofield on screen. Everyone knows he was grooming a young male at the time. It’s actually immorally wrong and you are just acting like you don’t care and are not taking accusations seriously? Is this a laugh in the face of people that get groomed and abused by an older man who has power? I think you should be ashamed of yourself for even employing him still. Look closer into the family if his brother is accused of being a pedophile and Philip has severe accusations you can’t be that stupid to not realise. Don’t get how he was branded a hero for being a pedophile it’s actually sick. You’ve given him a platform and it’s only tarnishing your name all you do is type Philip Schofield into the internet and pedophile and sex offender comes up. Why would you want to be associated with him.
Desired outcome: Sack Philip Schofield don’t even offer redundancy or garden leave . He doesn’t deserve a pay out he deserves prison time
Coronation Street - Monday 27th March 2023
The most appalling episode I have ever seen on Coronation Street with acid being thrown and shown well before the watershed at 8-25pm and the scene's thereafter were frightening and appalling. Children watch this programme and you are putting idea's in some sick peoples minds.
In my opinion the writer, producer and director should be instantly dismissed.
I am no prude, I seen many things in my 81 years but the end of this stalking story line was harrowing and totally unnecessary.

Advert advertising female sanitary products
As a female I find the latest advert whereby there is a scene depicting an old style dinner with male and females in period costume at a luncheon. Yet the Female talks about being bloody and down there. My husband and I find this totally offensive and to be honest I find it very derogatory towards women and the female issue. You don’t hear about wet dreams or men wanking off, so why is it to talk in this manner.
I’m fortunate that my grandchildren are only 2 years of age but any older and I would be so embarrassed to watch this. All females suffer this horrible affliction and we don’t talk about it in this fashion.
Desired outcome: Change the advert, make it current. Ask females their opinion, remove the advert
ITV news
I am complaining in support with a personal friend of mine. There was a video of him leaving 10 Downing Street on the 10 0'clock news. He was mistaken for Boris Johnson's father and called a dirty old man. I assure you he has nothing to do with politics or Boris. He is merely a maintenance man. He lives near me and he is a respectable married man. You should be more careful in identifying people. I think he has a good case for suing you for mistaken identity.
Desired outcome: An apology at least on ITV news.
Program selection
Good afternoon sir or madam,
My email is not so much a complaint as a request. Jeremy Brett was a leading
star for ITV and much of his work is not available to view for a variety of reasons but if possible I would very much like ITV to release whatever films, TV movies, etc. that ITV has copyrights over. Specifically, I would like to be able to see the ITV Play of the Week, season 5, episode 45 called "Tess" starring Jeremy Brett
and Gwen McGowan. It aired 5 July 1960 and was directed by Michael
Currer-Briggs. It is my hope you will be able and willing to re-air this TV movie and perhaps others Mr. Brett starred in and that ITV can release either through their network or even as DVD. Thank you, I appreciate whatever you can do to aid me and other fans of Jeremy Brett, letting us see these lost films.
Warm regards,
T. Newman (United States of America)
ITV coronation street actress getting married to Ken barlows son
I am fed up of the actress about to get married to Ken Barlows son she’s a pathetic actress portraying woman as bimbos she comes across as a spoiled brat she is boring and too tartish for working class coronation street the way she sucks her teeth and talks drives me mad can’t w as it to c her go she don’t suit coronation street more like Miami vice or love island we are fed up of c ing bimbo s on tv acting like tarts.
Girl marrying Daniel too much make up acts stupid her voice is so annoying she just plays a bimbo tart we are fed up with all that. Now how refreshing to see Glenda a woman a bit on the big side makes such a change she remind me of Betty who was famous for her hot pots don’t let her go. But the one marrying Daniel is too glamorous for corri too much make up and just can’t stand her character
ITV 4 Derby county vs West Ham
Hello I struggle with dyslexia so I’m gonna try my best
I watch the Derby County, West Ham cup game on ITV4 last night. I was out raged of the two studio commentators, Joe Cole and the lady I forgot her name…. there was no one in the studio with an real inkling of what Derby County I’ve been through over the last few years they talked a few sentences about it, but they gave to realise it Derby County’s teamcost about 2 1/2 million pounds this season and West Ham’s is a multi million pound set up and all they kept saying well Derby County was very naive and the lady just kept agree they were so biased to West Ham when they was talking…. Can’t believe that there wasn’t it ex player or someone sat in there with Joe and the lady who had played at Derby County…. it really was so biased are they spoke about West Ham to wards Derby 👎👎
Bodyform
I don't think that it is necessary to show a blood stained sanitary towel to get the message across about this product. The advert I am complaining about was screened at about 1900 on Sunday 15 Jan 2023 although this is not the first time that I have seen it.
Whilst I agree that products of this nature should be advertised and 'normalised' I do not think that there is a need for this level of detail.
Desired outcome: Remove this advert from screens and impose some sort if sanction on the company that screened it I.e. you
Peston 11/01/23
I am complaining about the appalling bias displayed in this broadcast, by the host Robert Peston and his guest Liz Kendall, in relation to Jeremy Corbyn. Liz Kendall - an abject loser in the Labour leadership contest, aired her obvious grievance against her former leader by spouting - unchallenged - proven falsehoods that even a cursory glance at the available evidence (such as the Ford Report) would have dispelled. She was permitted to continue her diatribe of lies by a host that calls himself a journalist but is better described as a stenographer of corrupt power, who failed to point out the misinformation and disrespect shown by Kendall or allow the truthful relaying of information by Corbyn to be heard. All in all this was dangerous and misleading and further shows the dire state of British journalism today.
Desired outcome: Peston and Kendall to issue full apologies. Peston to enrol on a journalism course to enlighten him on what his job actually entails.
Peston Show Jeremy Corbyn/Liz Kendall
I agree with many regarding the petty and viscous attack on Mr Corbyn by Liz Kendall, but my other concern regards journalist impartiality.
Many will have studied the long awaited Forde Report and I'm certain Robert Peston MUST have done so too.
Mr. Corbyn is clearly exonerated in the report with large sections highlighting the difficulty in processing complaints due to deliberate withholding of vital information by factional groups. Lets not mention the uncovered overt cruelty, racism and diverting of finance by the same faction...
The Ford Report is surely a golden opportunity for serious in depth reporting?
These days on so many news programmes it seem that once a narrative is established it simply cannot be questioned, I'm old enough to have grown up in the glory days of TV investigative journalism, when wars were questioned and Governments held to account, it's very sad to see major 'news' programmes going down the tabloid headline route.
If I had a God I'd pray for the ability of journalists to stand back, look at 'claims' and say, 'Is this really true and correct?' Instead it feels like 'raising hackles' through the creation of scandal has replaced news.
Kendall should have been held up to the same scrutiny as Mr. Corbyn, failing to do so, after a report uncovering corruption, institutionalised racism and deceit within particular Labour Party factions, is a choice and in this case a very poor one.
Desired outcome: I feel fair coverage of the findings of the Ford Report would improve vastly the trustworthiness of ITV reporting compared with that of the BBC. Surely that would increase the perception of fairness?
