I received a ring as a Christmas present 2017. Not even 3 weeks into wearing it I developed a nasty cluster of blister looking thing right where the ring sits. I contacted jeulia to complain and the only solution offered was an exchange. This was unacceptable since I had some kind of reaction to their jewelry it seems logical that I would have a reaction to another item as they are all made with the same material, which is supposed to be "Sterling silver", however I have Sterling silver pieces and stainless steel and gold and have NEVER had a reaction like I did with this jewelry. So now I don't have a Christmas present, I have a ring I can't wear and my fiancee is out money for this worthless merchandise! Beware to anyone out there thinking of buying from this company, do your homework before you purchase as I
wish we would have!

No its not possible the reason is psychological. As I have pics to show that there was nothing on my finger prior to wearing this ring, which I submitted to the company before and after pics and the lesion that developed developed right where the ring sits and ONLY right where the ring sits. Since I've taken the ring off, the lesion is starting to slowly heal. Thank you for your advice but the fact remains that I don't have a problem ANYWHERE else on my hands other than where I wore this ring.

So apparently I just heard from jeulia and they will refund my money minus $20 Once they receive the ring back. The reason as to why they are keeping $20 of my money remains a mystery. While they have a California return address it is evident by the language they use in their emails that they are definitely NOT a US based business. Again I caution anyone from dealing with this company.

Latest update as of January 23rd, while my tracking number from the post office says they received the package on January 18th, I've yet to receive a refund and when questioned about it they reply that it may take up to 30 days?! I've attached a copy of the email I received from them, BUYER BEWARE, THEY'RE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUND PRACTICES ARE JUST AS SHOTTY AND FAKE AS THEIR MERCHANDISE!

Update: package was received by jeulia on January 18th, however it's January 24th and have yet to receive my refund! When I contacted them regarding this issue they emailed back a reply stating my account with them has been refunded HOWEVER it may take 30 days to receive it in my bank account, whatever in the hell that means! I have attached a copy of that email. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE, JEULIA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUND PRACTICES ARE JUST AS SHOTTY AS THEIR MERCHANDISE! and one other lil tidbit, while they have a California address DO NOT BE FOOLED they are most definitely NOT located in the United States!

Is it possible the reaction is more psychological than physical?

I appreciate the reply. What you've stated, however, implies the exact opposite of what you then state.

I'd like to see you determine, for certain, the nature of the problem.

First, after the blistering has healed from your ring finger, try wrapping the area with a single bandage, wearing the ring over the bandage. Does the same problem reoccur?

Then try moving the ring to a completely different finger. Does the same problem occur on this finger?

Please let us know what occurs.

I've already been in touch with management from jeulia and she has confirmed that while the ring states its Sterling silver it is however plated in rhodendiem which is a metal I've never come into contact until now. While I appreciate your suggestion I will stick with what I know and that's my body. It's quite simple really, I didn't have an issue prior to wearing the ring after a short time of wearing the ring I developed a lesion like blister right where the ring sits. Since having removed the ring my finger is slowly healing and those are the facts. You should know I'm not the only person that this has happened to. There is another posting on here titled" Christmas present gone wrong" who had a very similar experience.

Fantastic. I've never heard of the composite myself. It's definitely not a natural metal. It sounds like they're taking good care of you though!

My apologies the metal alloy plating is called rhodium. Don't really know yet if I would say they're taking good care of me as they talked about giving me only a partial refund despite my returning the ring in perfect condition. I'll be heading to the post office tomorrow to return it at my cost and we'll see if they issue a refund and for how much. I'll post an update once I have more info.

I would assume you have a CONFIRMED R.A. NUMBER. I wouldn't even begin to send it back without such. I'd only send through the U.S. Postal Service. Get a "Receipt of Mailing" and a tracking number. Also, fully insure the package.

You're not likely to get a full refund, but that's okay. They need to produce a profit too for all the effort and cost they've put out.

Yes I'm definitely going through the postal service and sending it back with a tracking number and insurance. What a nightmare this has been though!

Well, I was going to order a ring but this has definitely changed my mind. They sound like [censor]! Thanks for the warning.

Your comment made me laugh out loud. I just called customer service to get a feel for this LA-based company. Then, right before hitting the purchase button, I went back to find more reviews. My reaction after reading these posts is exactly the same. Too bad it's a scam. I got real money to spend and rings I'd like to collect. Guess I'll stick with the local jewelers. More expensive...but I can look them in the eye and (no offense to anyone) they speak/understand English perfectly.
