Hello,
I had taken my car in for an oil change on Saturday, April 20th at 1533 Merivale Road. My bill was $ 180.78.
When I went in, I was the last car for the day. I use synthetic oil, as I have a 2019 VW Jetta, which is required. On the sign inside it stated a different price. I questioned it and I was told my car took more oil, than a regular car so that’s why it was more expensive.
The young man was rude in his response and the customer service was terrible.
During the oil change in which the usually check the filters, top up tire pressure, wash the window etc, None of that was done.
Then after about a week or so the car said the oil level was low, I checked it and had to put in another quart. About 2 weeks later the same thing.
I then booked an appointment with VW, to find out why the oil kept leaking. Which cost me another $ 237.24. They said...ustomer service and the fact that the oil that was used and the improper installation of the drain plug, that I, should be compensated for this.
This took me time off work to go to VW after to check what was wrong with my car and the frustration of oil drips all over my driveway.
I have attached the bill from VW for you to see their recommendation.’
I think I should be refunded for the oil change and the VW bill as well as for an engine shampoo.
This is not acceptable. This is not what customer service is.
I have worked in the service industry for 40 years and I would never accept this lack of respect from anyone that I was a customer of. Usually the job is inspected by a manager or at least the manager would come by and check, which wasn’t done either
Please let me know, what you will do to compensate me before I move forward.
