If I could give zero stars, I would. Jiffy Lube’s flawed system lists an incorrect oil filter as “compatible” with my vehicle, and their refusal to take responsibility has cost me over $4,600 in repairs.
THE PROBLEM:
Their system wrongly lists an oil filter that is NOT compatible with the Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. This incorrect filter was used in multiple oil changes, leading to severe oil pressure issues and catastrophic engine damage. The technicians followed their system, but the real failure lies with Jiffy Lube and their inaccurate parts database.
HOW JIFFY LUBE HANDLED IT:
Refused to acknowledge their mistake, even when mechanics confirmed the incorrect filter caused my engine issues. Ignored clear evidence from multiple certified mechanics proving the damage was caused by their system’s error.
Denied my claim completely, leaving me with thousands in repair bills due to THEIR negligence.
DO NOT TRUST JIFFY LUBE!
If they can't even get something as basic as an oil filter right, why would you trust them with your vehicle? Their refusal to take accountability proves that they don’t care about their customers — only profits.
SPREAD THE WORD!
I’m warning everyone: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I’ll be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, and consumer protection agencies until Jiffy Lube is held accountable for their reckless negligence.
Recommendation: Avoid oil change spots like Jiffy Lube and go to the dealership.
