Just Eat
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding an incident that occurred during a recent delivery from one of your partner restaurants, Domino's Pizza in Ongar Blanchardstown. The delivery driver involved in this incident is named Rezaul Karin.
On 28/10/2023, I placed an order for a pizza through the Just Eat platform. When Mr. Karin arrived at my doorstep to deliver the pizza, he exhibited unprofessional behaviour that was both inappropriate and offensive. To my dismay, he used profane language, specifically the word "[censored]," directed at my daughter during the delivery process.
Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and unbecoming of a representative of your service. It is particularly concerning as my daughter was present at the time, and I believe no customer, especially a child, should be subjected to offensive language or disrespectful conduct from a service provider.
Additionally, I have discovered that Mr. Karin was working with a provisional license at the time of the incident. As per the law, individuals with provisional licenses are prohibited from operating a vehicle unaccompanied. This revelation raises serious questions about the eligibility of Mr. Karin to work as a delivery driver.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly, as it not only tarnishes the reputation of your service but also poses a potential risk to the safety of customers. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a prompt response regarding the actions taken in response to this complaint.
I trust that Just Eat takes customer safety and satisfaction seriously, and I hope that you will address this matter appropriately and take steps to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
Danis Smith
