I’ve paid my loan payment via mail in checks from my banks online payment system. Lending Club has posted one of my payments late, forcing me to make an additional payment on the phone with my debit card, and last month, Lending Club never posted my payment at all… forcing me to make another payment using my debit card. Customer service does not exist. Lending Club is forcing me to make multiple payments, and damaging my credit.
Desired outcome: Post the darn checks, stop asking me to make multiple payments, establish Customer Service and accept responsibility.
I have never been late on a payment of over $300.00
I have now applied TWICE and for what I am "asking" I also was intending to pay OFF my current loan with YOU. I did not need another $10,000.00. This would pay you off on my current loan (as I you won't let me add to it) I have been paying a LOT of extra on my credit cards and I don't owe that much anymore. I pay on time and this was not fair to me! MARILYN WEGLARZ. (I also pay directly from my checking account each month and would continue to do so.)
Desired outcome: Give me a better reason.

Several employees misled me over recorded phone conversations about a loan cancellation extension and now I owe the company a ton more money
I applied for a loan with LendingClub. I was rejected. I sought, signed and accepted a loan with a different company and moved on. Until I unexpectedly received an email that my LendingClub payment was going through.. I was confused and panicked, and called LendingClub right away because I couldn't afford both and had acted under the information that I received - that the loan was rejected - and sought another loan. I was told that I could cancel and I began the process of cancelling, and that I needed to repay the initial amount that had gone out to my personal account and my creditors within 30 days.
I called LendingClub about twice a week after this action to touch base about my cancellation, because I kept getting scary email reminders and I was assured that my cancellation was on track and that I could even seek an extension if my creditors were slow in repaying the amount back to me to be returned.
My final creditor issued my refund in the form of a check - and it wasn't going to make it to me within the 30 days allotted, so I told LendingClub that I indeed needed an extension. Numerous LendingClub employees assured me over recorded phone calls that I was on track for an extension and that I needed to call when I received the check.
But today I noticed my first loan payment had cleared from my account - so I called again in a panic to let LendingClub know there was a mistake and that I was still awaiting one final refund.
And I was suddenly told there was no such thing as a loan cancellation extension, despite several employees assuring me over the past month that there was.
They're telling me that my only option is to pay the full amount (with interest) and said that they'll deal with the employees who (in my words) "misled" me about there being an extension. But they said there is no such thing and that they would deal with these employees separately, but that it would no way impact my loan repayment.
LendingClub willfully miscommunicated loan repayment and cancellation terms with me on several occasions over the course of more than 30 days. To my enormous detriment and to their gain - they're going to get a lot more money from me as a result of their lies.
Desired outcome: The loan cancellation extension that I was told was requested on my behalf repeatedly so that I only need to pay back what the company initially paid out to me

Identity online banking
Yes I received a email from lending club that stated my loan went through and for me to go straight to esighn. I sighned my name and dated the documents on 3/30/2023. And it gave me a number and the loan officer's name for me to call after I signed the documents and it has failed to call the number they gave me. And now my esigniture is on the documents that say I got a loan for 5,000 dollars. They have my bank routing number and account number. Now im worried about fraudulent documents that can be used to get money and im liable to pay. What do I do? Already called my bank. But what stops them from using my information to get money from another bank. I know I want restatution for the continuously not me able to sleep for being stressed someone is using my creditials to get loans through other banks. Who's liable for the stress this has put me in. Someone
Desired outcome: id appreciate a response
Lending club
I applied for a loan with a different company 3/07/2023. Lending Club got a hold of the application. On 3/13/2023, I received an email stating that I needed to review and accept a loan from Lending Club. I did not review or accept... I did not even open the email. The same day, I received a second email stating that funds had been dispersed to my creditors. I called and was told that the funds needed to be returned within thirty days.
I called the creditors. I was told that I could request a check mailed to me in two to three weeks of them receiving the funds. Mail time and the two to three weeks, plus time to get into the bank, which may hold the funds for nine days, I told them that the thirty days would be too short of a time period. I screen shot a blank Borrower's Page but that does not seem to be enough for these people. I have requested a signed acceptance page but have not received one as yet. Beware of Lending Club and there tricks.
Desired outcome: need more than thirty days, anxiety due to their error/scam, feel should be able to keep money, already reviewed and accepted loan that is dispersing funds to the same creditors.
Business banking
I had business banking with Radius Bank and they were bought out by Lending Club. Lending Club made a mistake and sent over two transfers of $1600 when I I made one transfer to my personal account. A few days later they sent an email and said that they made an error and were fixing it. Then they reversed both $1600 transfers and did NOT put the money back in my account. Now my $1600 had been missing for more than two weeks. I have called numerous times which is a nightmare and supposedly you can never speak with a manager. I have been told I would receive the money in 3-5 days and to reach out after 7 business days if I didn’t receive anything. They also said I would receive $100 payment for the inconvenience. I made the $1600 transfer to my personal account on 8/5. The mistake reversal was made on 8/10 and I still don’t have my money and it’s EOD 8/25. I was told today by one rep (after another rep, Michael D., was extremely rude and hung up on me) that a manager would call back within the hour. Then after that didn’t happen and I called back and the next rep said end of day….still nothing. I am so fed up with this “bank” and their unprofessionalism. I am a small business owner and a single parent and they think it’s okay to just take my money and not make it right.
Desired outcome: I want my money they took from my account.
Loan
This company are thieves. I applied for a $8,400 loan. I was approved. To be approved, I had to give them my creditors info to pay my credit cards off directly. Which I did. I typed the account numbers directly from my card. They paid off 3 and then when I checked about the fourth one that was never paid, I was told they sent the money to an account that was not mine. An account number not even given to them. I was even told to contact the creditor which the creditor cannot help because IT IS NOT MY ACCOUNT. I never gave them that account because I don’t have an account with that number. A week later of calling and emailing and being on hold for over 20 minutes multiple times to even speak to a manager, transferred 3-4 times and they will not return the $1,148 they have stolen for me or even assist me in any way. Everyday I have wasted contacting them to get the runaround. Very unprofessional. They expect me to pay them that money which they stole out of my loan. This has been the worst experience with any company. I wouldn’t recommend them to ANYONE. They took $500 out just to get the loan plus the $1,148 so they stole $1,648 from me and expect me to pay it back. I do not recommend this company unless you want some headaches and to waste your time and money.
Desired outcome: I want the $1,148 they stole out of my loan.
Received a loan from lendingclub for $20k
I was approved for a loan of $20K from LendingClub. Paid every month automatic payment of $632 each month then came my 3rd year since the loan. I looked at total for payments already sent to them came to just shy of $21k. According to their system I still owed $18k? So beware of their scams. I have since filed a lawsuit against them. Seriously I had a credit score or 750 when they gave me the loan, and in what world is 90% interest the normal for any loan?
BEWARE...
Desired outcome: People think twice before getting screwed over by this company...
Gift card fraud
Christopher. Bradford was my loan advisor he said was approved for 8000.00 finally he said I needed to purchase a gift card 200.00 send him pictures of the receipt the package and the front and back of the gift which I did He then he would send to the processing department and call me back. When he called back he said he needed 300.00 for loan insurance I told him no way demanded my money back. He said fourteen days. I don't believe him. I think they are nothing but a bunch liars and thieves
Desired outcome: I want to make sure I get my refund and it should not take fourteen days
Charges on my account
On August 27, I applied for a loan through Lending Club for 6000 dollars. 753 dollars went to my bank account on Aug 30. On the same day 4897 dollars was sent to Upstart by check. I was notified by Upstart that the bank rejected the check and it was returned. The check was from Lending Club to Upstart, never in my hands. I was notified on Sept. 13, by Upstart the check was returned. By the time Lending Club got around to giving me the money direct, it was Sept 28. I then owed Upstart and additional 138 dollars in interest, they charged me the 15 dollars for the returned check and Lending Club charged me 30 days of interest on the 4897 dollars that I had not received.
Desired outcome: I want the 15 dollar returned check fee. Either the additional interest of 138 dollars that I had to pay Upstart or The interest Lending Club charged me for the month they didnt give me the money.
Transfer of funds
I've tried to contact Lending Club via email and phone, to no avail.
I need to transfer money to the account from which it was withdrawn; however, I accidentally used the incorrect external account number and now the app won't let me change it.
I need to transfer this money ASAP.
You may contact me via email (kelsey. m. [protected]@gmail.com) or phone [protected].

How does a Google play card ensure my money it does not make sense he said that the first card what toys are my money $400 he said the second card was for I forgot what the third card which was the $50 was to pay for taxes for the money to be moved around from State to state or country to Country I don't know... I told him I wasn't sending him no more money I hadn't seen anything and he sent me some kind of fake contract as well so can somebody please communicate with me my number is [protected]... Thank you, Yvette Lopez
Desired outcome: Either I get my loan for the amount I was promised or I just get reimbursed for the 250 I've already spent for cards I can't even use
They have held my deceased father's account for 8 months
My father passed away in March. The legal documents were sent to Lending Club in June to release this $18, 000 account to me, the trustee, I have made 30+ calls and have been told many times that they will resolve this "today" Or that it is in legal. I'm looking for the proper authorities to report this too.
Side note; The banks where my father had accounts turned the accounts over to me in a matter of hours.
Desired outcome: I want the account released to me. If I'm forced to file a lawsuit I will want a lot more
my instant offer
I was sent a pre-approved loan amount of $20000.00. I was supposed to reply by July 3, 2018, I have replied and now being told I'm denied or need a co-party to also sign. If I'm pre-approved why ami being denied or being asked for that matter to have a co-party? I find this to be unfair to me and also to be false advertising. I would like to see something done with.
itunes card
Yes I was scammed a company claiming it was a loan company asked me to get itunes cards for various payment plans etc up front. I spent $300.00 in itunes cards and did not see one penny. I filed a claim with the Federal
Trade commission. There is no protection for the consumer to hear Itunes tell it. This is not going over so well. I hear this happening to other consumers. We as the consumer purchased the cards. However our money is lost. If your company does not protect consumers, consumers will stop purchasing your products. I would like assistance in this matter and a refund. thank you
The scamming company sent an email and went by the name Lending Club
they werent the actual Lending club phone [protected] they sound India based. Other numbers used [protected], [protected], [protected] stating they were Houston TX based email used [protected]@accountant.com

Loan
These people wanted copies of my bank statements, which I sent. They then wanted all pages, even the blank ones, showing all the edges. We got on the phone to check on it, and they wanted ludicrous personal information like my wife's year of graduation of everything that she had ever done. Next was more stupid questions and if another way to send the info
This isn't the first time we were going to get a loan, but never from them. The only reason we started talking to them was a pre-approved offer they sent us. What a joke they are, and all for 1/4 of the offer for 3 months duration.
It is obvious that lending Club is a ripoff company... We can surely wait or find someone else easily. Don't worry with them, they are crooks. They actually approved us once, then changed the way they do business.
Fraudulent loans
After receiving a letter My Isntant Offer in the mail while trying to get my finances back in order not to lose my house and job to only get hustled by this. I was constantly thinking that I was going to get the loan but day by day they presented me with another reason to send more money and yet only two thousand later. Lost home, job, family, etc.
Investors with Lending club still getting scammed too!
Run!
they are such snakes!
charging triple the fees they claim!
the current scam sucks you in with high f and g loans to buy at 1% normal fee they charge
then when you send more money they cut you off--suddenly there's no decent loans listing to buy--
and you have to go to the side link to folio and pay an extra .5 to folio and a 2.5% premium charge to get the same loans!
they're doing it again--just like the investigators caught them at before--bait and switch--tell you you'll get an even chance to buy higher interest loans they are writing but are not letting small investors see past the first few purchases--just enough to suck you in!called tons!
got tired quickly of rude children on the phone.
Excuses?
1. Check at times we post
--did it--even the 3am pt posting--nothing there but the crap--you can sometimes see it for an instant as they take it away--but you can no longer buy it!
2. Use our auto buying software.
Did that from the onset--and it did work--again a couple of weeks then you get an email telling you to reset what you want it to buy down to the crap loans or it won't work!
3. Sometimes we just write fewer loans of some types? seriously? after buying them for a month they suddenly all go away? two entire classes of loans? for an entire month?
4. Try buying on the folio site trading account.
Ok, now i've got it--a scam!
there are tons of brand new high rate loans--still with all 60 or 36 payments due--at a .5% fee for folio and three hundred percent increased premium loan fee added on top to buy them.
Who bought them when they haven't been listed to buy--ive been trying for weeks? why is it they can buy and we can't--lol or did they already own them like last time they pulled a bait and switch on a customer that landed them in trouble!
now they're doing it to everyone!
how do you guys at lending club function with your pants on fire like this?
i am not going away until someone gets into folio and sees who does own all these brand new loans that us common folk can't buy--and what you're doing at lc behind everyone's back--again!
you can get them to send your money back folks--and you should!
