refund not accept, poor service
I purchased 3 jeans on 30th of April at ION Orchard Levis shop, and I visited again on 6th of May for refund.
But, when I asked to one of staff to refund - His name is Andrian.
He said, all Singapore Levies do not accept refund.
He said that unless Levi's in the US does, but Singapore is not by the legal.
And also said, it is stated clearly here at counter so when I see there, it was no mention of refund anywhere.
And then he said, "Yes of course there is no mention, because we do not refund."
Do you think does it makes sense?
Are you kidding on me? Does Levis playing with the customer like this because I am a foreigner?
I think you should let me know at first place when I buy the products, if you guys are really never accept refund.And there is clearly stated that "we do refund in 21 days after purchased the products in the Levis official homepage! He even doesn't know the policy and just insisting no refund.
I am pissed off with him at the way he treated me like a black consumer. His way of dealing really offended me. He totally looked down on me I think because I was not good at English.
It was like a teacher teaching students. It's very disappointing to have such poor employee training in this global brand.
What I want is a refund on my product (no damage to the product, tags on the products, and I have a receipt), and I would like to request to re-training of the employee-Andrian.
I'm looking forward to your kind reply.
levi strauss black denim jacket
After purchasing this item which was quite expensive, I noticed it had quite a repulsive smell. I am assuming the smell was from the dye used. After following the washing instructions I have washed the jacket four times. It has now lost much of its colour, which I am unhappy about, but it still has the horrible smell. I still haven't worn this jacket and can't see myself doing so as the smell is embarrassing. I have bought many Levi Strauss clothing items and love wearing them. I would like a refund or replacement jacket that doesn't have the problem even if has to be replaced with a blue denim jacket.
711 ankle length
I'm on my 5th pair of size 27, 711 coolmax ankle length jeans. I bought 4 of the 5 pairs when I lived in Dubai, now I live in Beijing. I've just bought my next pair, same size etc but they are over an inch shorter... I didn't try them on before I bought them as I know the fit and size etc. why is there a difference? Why not consistant sizing throughout the world? Very annoyed as these are not cheap jeans. There are so many copies in china that I always buy from main stores but even then its disappointing

My name is Zach, and I just wanted to express some concern over some jeans that I bought recently (past 6 months). Over the past 6 months I have ripped holes in both pairs of jeans in the crotch area, both from moves that I had previously made without concern in your jeans. Both pairs of jeans fit incredibly well, and I've loved them, and taken meticulous care of them (refraining from machine washing, etc.)but they continue to rip. I know you will probably say that this due to my buying Illfitting jeans, but I am beginning to question the dependability of your products. I love Levi's, and I love the way they fit, and feel once they are broken in. This however has been frustrating due to the fact that I believe jeans are made for longevity, and made to be moved around in, on many different types of occasions. I just wanted to get this off my chest, as it has been rather frustrating. Hopefully I can find a Levi's product that works for me.
505 jeans
For as far back as I can remember, I have been a loyal levi strauss customer. I never understood why anyone would buy blue jeans from anyone else, but today I am questioning that loyalty.
As a result of some successful changes in my diet, my old blue jeans have become too large for me, so I purchased 2 new pairs of 505 jeans and a new pair of 505 shorts. I have noticed myself hitching up my newer, snugger jeans more often than my older, looser jeans. This afternoon, I specifically noticed that my shorts kept slipping under my belt — as though they didn't have enough belt loops.
This evening I compared my new jeans with my old jeans, and lo and behold, I discovered that levis have gone from 7 belt loops to 5. Five belt loops aren't enough.
The other posts I have seen about this product are focused on globalization-related issues. I, too, hate to see american jobs move overseas, but this particular problem has nothing to do with country of origin. Regardless of where the jeans were manufactured, levi strauss has cheapened the design specification, and they seem to be waiting to see if anyone notices.

I just bought a new pair of mens 550 relaxed jeans. I was so surprised to find they remove two belt loops from the design. It really changes how they fit. I went with Levis jeans about 30+ years ago because they used 7 loops instead of 5. Looks like I'm going to be looking for another brand.
levi's 501 jeans
A year back I bought 2 pair of levi's jeans, one is in black and the other blue. I wore both at the same time frame, and for the first time in my life, I witnessed a strange behavior of the colour at the black jeans after the first wash, and I dare not wear this jean again coz I feel strange for the first time again after wearing them, they appear weared, it looks like it went through a failed wash treatment to me, where else the blue jean have been through maybe 30-40 washes, it's steady at its appearance, so both have been wash with one brand detergent, what could be the issue?

I purchased a girls denim dress and top from a shop in the uk. The top has levi's on the sleeve with pink glitter writing. I washed the top on a 30° wash and the writing has come off. The label says to wash at 30° so I believe this should not have happened. The top has been worn one time and washed one time only. I would be greatful to hear back from someone.
wrongly charging £10 extra
I bought a pair of levis on 16 february 2018 which were £85 but charged £95. As there was a queue and I was in a rush I didn't think anything of it but once outside the shop I thought I would double check the price tag which did say £85. I went back inside the levi shop and queried the price difference of £10 and was told that they were doing a pilot to see whether or not people would pay the extra £10. This is absolutely disgusting and totally unacceptable. How can a reputable company like levis do this to its customers. I have bought my jeans from levis for years now. I did send a message to the levi store but heard nothing back as I said that if I didn't hear back with a suitable explanation from them then I would contact an ombudsman to see whether levis can legally do this to its customers. If I hadn't gone back into the shop and queried the price difference of £10 then I would have been £10 out of pocket (I did get the refund of £10 but that's not the point). Where was this extra £10 going. If they did this to every customer that comes into the shop then surely they are making money fraudulently.
I would very much appreciate a suitable explanation this time please.

poor quality jeans
Recently when at work stretching over some boxes a hole tore on the rear side of the rise in my jeans. I was partilculary disappointed as I have levis jeans in my wardrobe that are 7 years old and still in excellent condition. Jeans that degrade after 12 - 24 months is something I expect from high street fashion chains but not from levis as I buy the brand for their quality. I would like to think that this was a once off and I was unfortunate.

repeated failure of levi jeans - hole in left knee area
I have been buying levi jeans for over 50 years. Each pair that I have purchased have within six to seven months have had a hole in the left knee. I have dated each new pair to determine how long it takes before the hole appears and it is normally six to seven months. When sitting the hole is located just above the knee. The jeans except for the hole wear very well. At $50 plus a pair, it is discouraging to have multiple pairs that look new except for the left knee. This happens with the 527 and 508 style jeans. I have tried putting patches on the back inside only to have the wear take place around the patch. The right knee never wears out. I have included a photo that shows the typical wear. I had contacted levi in the past, but never got an answer.
I have 3 pairs of 505s I bought from costco last year. Same wearing on the left just above the knee. Also, all three have begun tearing along the rear left pocket.
levi's 751 jeans
Hi, I purchased a pair of levi's 751 jeans from my local debenhams store in cardiff, wales approximately 20 months ago but have only recently stared wearing them.
I am complaining about these jeans as compared to the numerous pairs of levi's I have possessed and worn over some 45 years, its is obvious that the material these jeans were constructed from was considerably inferior to those used in my other levi's jeans. The material in the 751 style I own has started to seperate from the main seam that runs from the crotch to the yolk between the back pockets and the material just below the pocket and seat has started to tear - I could understand this if the jeans had been subjected to excessive wear and washing but this hasn't been the case. At nearly £80 a pair at the time of purchase I feel that these jeans should have provided much better service. As loyal levi's consumer since I was in my early teens (I am now 60) I am disappointed that I will now have to consider alternatives to the levi's brand as it appears that the quality of your product is declining.
the new levi's jeans ruined new nike shoes

I am complaining about the new levi's jeans that we bought to my husband. He wore them with his brand nike beige colour nike airforce shoes and the jeans completely coloured - stained the new shoes!
It was not raining and there was not even anything wet on the jeans.
Now the new shoes looks horrible no like a new at all. And it is not possible to remove it either.
I would like to know what does this colour do to skin, jeans are in direct contact with it.
This was probably the last levi's jeans we bought because it will colour everything else including more expensive handbag or watch strap. And the jeans are not cheap either! We were thinking we are buying a good quality jeans...
torn fabric / belt loops
Wow, I am completely disappointed with the lack of quality and poor denim materials of my levis jeans. As with many other consumers who have posted, I have worn levis for over 50 years and have been satisfied. I just had two pairs of jeans rip by the back pocket as in other photos that have been posted. I also have two pairs of jeans that each have two belt loops that have torn off of the fabric. I used to be able to wear my levis for years without any sign of failure. The current denim fabric is much too thin!
I am looking for a good alternative denim product to purchase. Are there other denim manufacturers that have not sacrificed their quality like levis?

not honoring sale as advertised on in-store sign.
On december 31, 2017 my daughter, sister and I went to the tulalip outlet mall levi store in washington state. Upon entering the store we were delighted to see a sign that read 50% off outerwear. We spent a significant amount of time going through the jackets and after selecting 3 we went up to the cash register to pay. All 3 jackets rang up at full price. I pointed out the 50% off outerwear sign to both the sale associates that were present. After checking the sign, which you could clearly see from the registers, they told me they would give me 50% off one jacket, the one hanging nearest the sign. I pointed out that the sign did not say 50% off select outerwear it said 50% off outerwear. Period. Which any reasonable person would assume meant all outwear was on sale. Because we didn't want to make a fuss we left the store with 1 jacket that was 50% off and 2 that we paid full price for. We all felt like we had been victims of a bait and switch. The associates should have honored the sale advertised on the sign. Very unethical buisness practices. A big disappointment.
rude unprofessional treatment
Went to the levi store at the trafford center manchester uk last night weds 27th dec 2017 to buy a pair of jeans on entering the store I went to the cash desk and asked a guy (who I later found out was the store manager) some advice on the whereabouts of the jeans I wanted, he told me to ask a girl who was obviously busy with other customers so having waited for what appeared to be the only assistant on the shop floor, I went back to the manager and asked if he could help me, he said no and was rude and very unprofessional so I asked him for his name which he refused and his reply was "why should I tell you my name? You tell me your name?" at this point my partner was getting upset and nervous so she walked out so I left the store to comfort her,

On december 17 2017 I visited the levi's outlet location at the outlets of orange in the city of orange california. I started browsing the womens t - shirts I saw some styles I really liked I asked a very helpful and nice employee (did not get her name) if the t-shirts were included in the sale and she said yes they were indeed on sale and turned a sign around to show the price as someone had turned the sign backwards. I found a few styles I needed in my size but did not see the size on the sales floor. Two employees were standing behide the table hiding behide the sales sign whispering back and forth secretly. My husband and I nicely asked if there were more sizes available in the back and they ignored us. I asked polietly once again and the male employee answered no 'whatever they had was out on the table. So we proceeded to shop around. As I stood deciding which styles I would purchase the same two employees that were chatting it up came back minutes later hiding behide the sales sign. My husband and I were already bothered by the fact that not once did they ask us if we needed help finding a size. So when we noticed they were back in the same spot whispering, I looked up and glanced over at the female employee she imediatlly snapped at me bringing her head in a forward motion and her eyes enlarged asking me ' do you have a issue?!?! Wow I was stunned and surprised by this question as I felt these were fighting words and a question not related to good customer service. I asked her nicely what was wrong if she was alright and why would she ask, if I had an issue she replied 'oh why are you looking at me? I reminded her that she was an employee and was not suppose to get crazy with a customer. She than said well you have an issue becuase you were looking at me. I dont understand are employees trained to speak to customers this way? As this was happening another customer walked up to us letting is know that she just had the same experience with the same employee in the dressing room and that she was rude. I was than approached by another girl telling me I shouldnt make such a big deal as I was asking for the store manager. I asked her for her name and she than said she didnt even work there and that she was the female employees friend. Just hanging out in the store while she was working. This seems unacceptable and very unprofessional. To have your employees and thier thug friends gaining up on customers?
I wanted to reach out to corporate because I wanted you to know what kind of employees that you have working at your retail stores. I know your an all american company that prides yourself with good customer service and friendliness. This experience was an eye opener for me that some employees need to be screened before hiring and trained on good customer service skills no matter what time of day it may be. Please reach out to your manager to have this problem corrected as it may be happening to other loyal returning customers.

550 jeans
We have been 550's for years but the last couple of years, they have torn at the back pockets almost immediately, rendering them unwearable for my husband. I particularly noticed it the last time I bought two pairs from kohls, last november. We will not be buying levi's any longer! I would like two new pairs or a refund. My address is 502 s. after one wash the material is striped.
On the 10 th november I purchased a pair of 504 s, w30 l30, in your time square store.
After their first wash they have stripes down each leg and as such are very ugly and unwearable.
I have bought levi's for many years and am really disappointed that the material now seems so poor and obviously not fit for use.
I would prefer a refund, 65 dollars, but am prepared to accept a replacement.
I will send a photo and if necessary my credit card evidence.

Munhui, I would never go on the Internet to complain about poor service and how someone didn't do there job. I would take care if it in person but here I am 2023 it's the way of the world.
