The product did not fit and arrived in the wrong color. The return procedure is unacceptable and unresponsive.
I selected the "refund/exchange" option from the drop down menu. I filled in the appropriate information as requested and then clicked the "submit" button. (Apparently, this is the only way to contact this company as there is no address or phone number associated with it.)
I clicked the "submit button" several hours ago and the little circle that continuously spins to let you know that your request has not gone through has been spinning for several hours now. I made my first attempt yesterday with the same result and thought there may have been an online service interruption so I made another. So I am now thinking that there is nothing set up to handle returns or exchanges. Totally unacceptable.
Desired outcome: I would like the charge on my credit card to be reversed and an address to which I can return the dress.

Terrible refund policy
Received a ballet top that fitted badly. No details of returns included in package. When I followed the instructions sent in email I received a message to say that no returns labels are available and I would have to return it to 'our Asia depot' (no address) at a cost of $10-$40.
There is no way of contacting customer service directly with a message.
This is totally unacceptable customer service from what I thought was a reputable company.

I paid $19.99 for a year subscription to get a fixed rate shipping charge of 4.99 per order. This never happens and I cannot get customer service to respond to me. I don't want to order anything more because I am charged way to much for shipping. I feel I wasted $20 for nothing. Get it together lightinthebox. Horrible customer service, or shall I say, no customer service.

The 4 tops I purchased are terrible. The 3x are to small and the 4 xlarge is way to big. They are not what the picture of them looks like. Very basic tops not nice at all. One of the main reasons I finally purchased was due to your "commitment" to customer satisfaction. I ordered a men's large size. Upon receipt it does not represent what I usually see as a large size. After receiving the product, I go on line and your return policy basically says it'll cost too much to send back through Asian customs. Why not take 10% for your order. That is terrible. That is not about a company who is aligned to customer satisfaction. I will never order again!

These shirts were ordered on 24/01/23 Ordered three shirts $119.99. Two came last week. One still not here. Shirts that came poor quality, stitching is terrible, lots of flaws. Led ceiling light
I received the item damaged. I contacted customer support and they wanted me to pay for the shipping back. It could be a lot and I contacted them again and told them that. They said they were going to refund me. Then a couple of days after when I didn't see it in my account I contacted them again. They said that it was damaged during installation that is what their supplier said. We never took it out of the box. It hasn't been installed or anything. I sent several pictures and they haven't replied back. They closed my support ticket. Scam is what they are.

Scam - impossible to return
On January 6 I placed an order for three dresses because I read the fine print refund policy which said if orders are returned within two weeks we’re good to go. I ordered three dresses off the rack to try on, amounting to over $500 in total.
They arrived too late for the event and I wanted to return all of them unopened. Went online and started the return process. It was cumbersome, but I did it.
I was told to wait for an email “approving my return”. My return was not approved. Their reason (they pulled this out of a hat) was that my dresses were “customized.”
I am still out $500, the big bag of dresses taking up space in my apartment and no return address or their assurance that they’ll take it back.

Wed 21/12/2022 I purchased 3 dresses from Light in the box.

All dresses ordered were the same style and I deliberately ordered larger sizes than I require, ensuring a loose fit.
- all three dresses were sized way too small to even get on
- one dress was not even the style ordered.
- none of the dresses had the sleeve style advertised
- none of the dresses had the same soft fall fabric as they pictured.
I complained and asked for a full refund with a return of the dresses but have not had any success with them - only silence.
As they failed to provide what I ordered, I expect a full refund of what they charged me, including the delivery fee.

Refund policy
Stupidly, I didn’t realize this company was trading in Asia as the delivery took weeks.
The item I ordered was too tight in the sleeves, and there was no Size Guide recommended for sleeves on their website.
On asking for a refund, I enclosed photos and measurements of the sleeve as requested.

Made to order return policy
In late December, I ordered three clothing items from Light In The Box website. I ordered them in a size offered (per their size guide) and a color offered.
When I received the items this week, each one was too small and I am not able to wear them. When I went to the website to return them, I was horrified and shocked to learn they were non-refundable. The reason being they were classified as "made to order". Never did I provide my personal measurements to order these items so I do not understand how they could consider these to be "made to order" just for me.
When I went in to investigate, I see that far below the "add to cart" icon, there is a made to order note which reads as follows: This is a Made to Order item, which is produced one by one. All sizes and color choices, including all custom measurements, require additional tailoring time.
Again, I never provided my measurements and I see if I had they would have charged me an additional 17.99 fee. No where did it say that the items were non-refundable.
The total of these items is 400, which is a large amount of money to me. I work hard for my money, so now I am out 400 and stuck with three outfits I cannot wear.
I have ordered many clothing items on line due to my busy work schedule and never has something not been refundable. That is the whole purpose of shopping on line rather in the store knowing that you can return the item if needed since you are not trying it on in person.
Light in the Box certainly did not made it clear when ordering that this was the case. I believe many people would not order these items (including me) if I had known they were non-refundable.
I'll take responsibility for not reading "below the add to cart line"; which still did not state they were non-refundable; however, I want to share my experience so that others do not make the same mistake.
I will never order from this company again and would not recommend anyone else to either.
