Your Long John Silver's at I-70 and Chambers Road Aurora Colorado was the worst experience I've had in a long time. There was no heat in the restaurant and the restaurant staff were wearing hoodies and sweatshirts while working in the kitchen. Our order took 17-20 minutes only after I walked up and asked why it was taking so long.
The fish itself tasted bad, it was definitely not Cod but I would say it was not edible

live roach crawling on order pick-up counter
2/18/[protected]@6:45 pm. Walked into ljs& as approaching order area, customer waiting for her food pointed out a roach crawling around on counter — the same counter her order was soon to be placed. No employees in sight&no one responded to her attempts to get their attention in kitchen. She wanted refund &cancel order. We observed roach&had it pose for a photo. When employee finally appeared, we pointed at roach. She grabbed napkin&squashed it but never apologized or acted appalled. I asked for store# to file complaint. She finally provided information&we left. Having roaches on main area while lights on would lead to suspicion that kitchen area would not pass inspection. Will be contacting health department &ljs customer relations.
Calling someone a fool is not only unnecessary, but makes YOU sound like one! NOT in MY house! Certainly not running around on my counters while I'm cooking.

Tonight we had dinner at the restaurant located on buffalo gap road in abilene texas. And it was AWEFUL! The drinks in the fountain tasted like they were diet, then I slipped on something black and slimy on the floor almost falling. Once receiving our food we noticed they gave us someone else's order. She said she just called the wrong number. Tonight was probably the longest we have waited at that restaurant before for our food . They did apologize for the mix up. Then finally to sit down to see the seat we were about to sit on had duck tape that had started to peal on the cracked seats leaving sticky residue on the seats. So we move tables. Then to finally eat, my chicken had cold spots in it almost felt frozen still in some places not like room temperate cold like ice cold. And the portions i was given seemed a little on the scarse side tgis is NOT how our normal portions are ( tiny chicken shown in pic) Every thing tasted like old grease. Except for the green beans. They were great! Not to mention how DISGUSTING the place was, sticky floors sticky tables and seats. It was aweful we will not be back till proper cleaning and possibly a remodel is done to the place.

I went and ordered a 30 piece family meal for my grandfather at the long john silvers on sr-70. I had a 20 minute wait and when I arrived at my grandfathers we were short 6 pieces of fish and chicken. I live in Port Charlotte which is a hour away I called manager and was told to come in by Patricia still had my receipt and wrote her name. When I came in today which is the next time I came to visit my grandfather I went in to get and I was told the manager transferred and gm came out named Sam was very rude and told me Patricia no longer is there and they couldn't honor told me I could try to call the manatee store which is where Patricia now is and maybe I could get there even though it was that store that ripped us off. I did try to call the new store they told me she worked at. That store has phone that goes straight to voicemail and is full. I am very upset and embarrassed on how I was treated all over the store not giving me what I had paid for on the first place! I have worked over 10 years in restaurant management and the way this was handled and how I was treated was not professional! I just want resolved and money back or what I was owed. I spent my money and did not receive what I paid for and have had to waste a lot of time and a big hassle not to even get was is owed. Thanks

This complaint is about the Sapulpa Oklahoma location. I do not understand why at least 80% of the time it is a 30 minute or longer wait to get a meal then the food is not even fresh. I have had this experience with the store for a few years now and the staff changes regularly but the results remain the same. I keep thinking things will change only to be disappointed time and time again.

We stopped last night and ordered the L2 and L3 platters and we both received our food in a little 8 by 8 box so we had to dump our food out onto our serving tray and eat our food off the tray that are food came on there was no plates we most likely will not come back there if we cannot have our platters put on plates this was ridiculous I have done a lot of business with you guys and are not happy at all about our service last night

wrong food, cold food & terrible customer service.
My family & I purchased dinner From Long John's & when my son in law got back, they had given him the wrong order & we didn't want the meals we got, but the ones we ordered. The food was also cold, and was not eaten. $25.00 wasted. Money that is budgeted carefully. My family & I have been going to this Long John's for over 10 years & haven't had a real problem until now. The Lubbock 4th street location needs to update the hours online because I arrived at 9:30 to order and they said they were closed but the hours online had said they closed at 10. I know that I'm probably not the only one who experienced this problem, I'm not upset, it's just frustrating to go somewhere with the intent of getting something to find out it's closed. I don't know if different locations all close at the same time, but I called a different location and they closed at 10 which is what it said online, at this point it was too late so I didn't go.

I tried to go to the Long John Silvers in Cocoa Fl on Friday evening for the first time...As we pulled up to park and walk into the entrance, an employee ran up and locked the door! I asked if they were open and the employee just pointed to the right...I guess to the drive through and walked away. At that point the line for the drive through was so backed up, cars were dangerously hanging out of the parking lot in traffic and the people now trying to leave the lobby were stuck in their parking spaces! The design of the parking lot and the drivethru (very small and servicing BOTH LJS AND Taco Bell is horrendous!) We waited over 30 minutes in the drive through just to order and decided on ordering from Taco Bell because the prices for LJS were outrageous...over $10.00 for 3 shrimp and 2 pieces of fish? When we asked at checkout why was the lobby was closed so early..6:50 pm and was told they were short handed...meanwhile, there was only ONE person working the drivethrough! The employee that so rudely locked the door on us was no where to be found and there was another employee taking garbage out the whole time we were waiting in the drive through line. Obviously, trash removal is a necessary task, but it doesn't need to be done when so many people are waiting and the lobby was locked shut anyway. The poor young girl working the drive through looked frantic...and even at her young age, she was the most attentive employee there! When we apologized for complaining she stated it was okay and at least we didn't cuss her out like the last customers! We did however ask for sour cream and we were told it cost extra and she walked away without even seeing if we were interested in paying for it, although considering how long we waited and how we were treated, giving us 1 single tiny container of sour cream is the least they could have offered us. I WILL NOT return to LSJ OR Taco Bell ever again! Simply not worth the hassle or aggravation. Our order of 2 beef burritos were incorrect and we received burritos with fritos in them...YUCK! EXTREME disappointment and definitely NOT fast food!
fish and shrimp dinner
My wife and I ate at the Long John Silvers in Alamosa Colorado yesterday and were very disappointed. The service was slow (15 minutes getting our food) and the quality was lacking. The hush puppies were over cooked and hard as a rock, the fish batter and shrimp batter was so crispy that it hurt your mouth to eat it. Also there wasn't any cocktail sauce for the shrimp. And clam strips were no longer available. We used to enjoy eating at Long John Silvers but will not return after this disappointing visit
missing food
A few days ago I went to 319 N Hickory Rd, South Bend, IN 46615 I got a 12pc family meal. When I got home I only had 10pc I called and a woman name Lori said i can come back and pick up 4 chicken next time I came back. I came back the next day and they said I was not on the list even though I told them Lori and they said they have no idea what I am talking about.

Yesterday between 5:00-5:20pm I pulled into the Pikeville Ky location as I slowlyrounded the building 4 of the employees including the store manager was sitting in a white car I could see them smoking my complaint is they were with a very well known methamphetamine dealer and how should I know I hear things and from the things I have heard what employees they do have are involved i will not be a returning guest and I have been coming to this Shoppe for many years its hard to believe a well known company such as this has such bad things being said about it and the employees.
Yesterday I drove 45mins to get guranteed friendly service at pikeville location and when I was waited on I ask for a certain employee to take my order me knowing this lady would go the extra mile to make my order then I find out she as fired all I know is the manager in said the reason she was fired was rudeness and talking about the new owners that's all [censor] somebody felt threatened and got rid of her I will not be a returning guest and I will spread the word that she no longer works for ur company she was one of the nicest people u could meet
food quality
We bought fish, 4 pieces, and a order of fries.
First we asked for the Cod fish, as it is usually quite good.
We were told they did not have any more, but that we could order Pollack (ugh) fish, which they state is from Alaska.
It was a take out order, and the fries were tiny, hard pieces, found usually at the bottom of a fries basket. They were thrown (a handful) in the bottom of a box, with the very greasy fish on top.
This town of Gallup, in New Mexico, cooks the worst fish ever. It is always loaded with lots of GREASE, and the batter around the fish is not fully cooked, plus it is very thick. Like the order is arriving as: "Order of Grease with a tad bit of tasteless fish inside the pancake batter". The fries were hard, and tiny pieces.
We are from Seattle, so we do know what good fish looks like and tastes like. Unfortunately this is the Wild West, and the cooks in that Long John Silvers do not even know what a fish is, let alone cook one. They cook good tacos, and mutton stew at home.
Anyway, we wanted to complain today, after having our take home lunch at about 12' noon, Mountain time.
Hoping that the very nice, Navajo cooks at that store can be trained how to at least cook fish and chips better.

I complaining about my order
Hell yes I order 2 number 11 and it was the worst I've every had.I visit to Long John 2or 3times a week the fish wasn't cook complete oil dripped off of it the chicken piece was so small I know it's already prepared but when the worker see that that there are some piece are two small when they pick it accommodate the customer with another piece or don't sell it. The coleslaw taste as if was sitting out to long. When you bring it to the workers attention and they only tell you that's how it is and you know better if you visit them over eight times a month.Thats not right and I would like to be satisfied when I spend my money.Im a very unsatisfied Customer and would like to be accommodated for my Two meals .

Last night was the third try at the Warrenton, VA Long John Silver and for the third time I threw the food in the trash. I have complained in the past and expected that things would have changed. They need to know that the food being served at the Warrenton establishment is absolutely unacceptable.
I would love to see a restaurant in this area that conforms to the Long John Silver standard.

First when I got to the place to put my order in there was no one there to take it so I drive up to the window and no one was there until finally I see a man coming from the bathroom he finally came to the windows to take my order and the I told them that I would pay 30$ and the rest on my card he and another man did not even know how to do that. They just told me my car was declining but I know it wouldn't do it cause with that account I had there was plenty of money in it for the food... then I look inside and see that the place is dirty...
I'm a person that love Long John Silvers and have eaten there many times but I must say if that service don't change I won't go there again and I will advise others to not go back too!
Is it possible they were short-staffed or had had unexpected employee turnover? It sounds like this may have just been an isolated incident.
baked cod was deep fat fried
On Dec 6th, 2017, I went through the drive thru. I ordered the Baked Cod and Shrimp dinner with 2 sides; fries and coleslaw, a Clam dinner with 2 sides; both coleslaw, and I also ordered an extra order of fried clams. The young man at the window was very nice as he took my cash to pay the $18.41 total. He handed me the bag of 2 boxes. I did not receive any coleslaw so had to return to get it. A woman inside didn't seem to care. The young man took 1 coleslaw out of the cooler when I said I should get 3 coleslaws, he gently handed them to me but acted confused, as if I wasn't suppose to get any at all! I drove home (a 20 minute drive). The clams were great but the cod was horrible. It was tough and hard in places that seemed to appear deep fat fried instead of baked. It was the worst cod I ever ate.

On 6 December 2017. I went into LJs inside Papatoetoe Hunters Plaza.
At 12.15pm I placed my order and was told 5 minutes. None of the workers wore badges. So I had no idea who I was speaking to.
Another customer placed an order. But her card declined and could not pay for her order. Instead of serving my food. Which was well and truly ready. The worker waited for the customer to go away and sort her finances. This took half an hour. She then proceeded to serve the customer who had returned. And give her meal. The worker had to then fry more fries to then serve me. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes.
The service is disgusting. Never have i seen orders being served in any order they choose. Nor have i seen customers who don't pay be served first before paying customers who are ahead of them.
Something needs to be done. More training and adequate decision makong about the timeliness of orders and serving customers in the order of when they placed their order.
I will tell everyone i know family friends co workers and people i meet. To avoid LJs.
uncooked chicken
Tonight my wife stopped and got some chicken and brought it home and there was one piece of chicken that was pretty uncooked and I had already ate 3/4 quarters of it not sure what happened but after that we checked them all but still then your already kinda grossed out so we tossed it so now I'm just sitting here and mentally I'm thinking I'm going to get sick but I hope that's not the case not sure how that happened but been going to long John silvers for years and I think this is the first time I can remember this happening.

I went to this location of long john silvers, and order a family deal meal. When I got the food it was cold and nasty, old tasting. When I try to tell the lady working she didn't listen to me at all and was too busy talking to other people. I ordered thru the drive thru and paid with cash. This random guy was in his car outside arriving to work I went to school with him name"Chris Elmore" he was smoking something not normal. Was in a light bulb or sure looked like it! I walkedin behind him to place an order and he smells horrible strange smell was very rude and acting really weirdI've got kids and a family that goes there we don't need this in our restaurants
