carry out and manager
Ordered carry out 7/9 at 6:30 pm. Was told it would take 15 mins for two salads. Sat at the bar waiting and it was 40 minutes before I got my salads and drink. Called the manager Mathew after driving back to discover no bread and butter and sprite was just soda water. He said he would email me coupons that night. I have not received anything yet. I felt like the manager acted like he took my email address with no intentions of ever sending. I spent 60 bucks in there the night before. I believe the manager should make good on his word for poor service. Bryan Paris [protected] [protected]@aol.com
manager service
Hi, my name is Bryce A. Green. Currently employed with LongHorn Steakhouse of Florence S.C. on 3120 West Radio Dr. We have managers here that are just not fit to be. Kathleen Welch, the manager that screws all the black cooks that she can and if she can't screw then she tries to find ways to pick at you and get you fired...(in which the case I'm in now). Then you have Mr. Dorian Sumpter, "Store Partnering manager". The one that never shows up to work, or if he does come then he's either drunk, hung over or late! Maybe even call out cause "I dont feel like coming in" (since when did that become an excuse). Ahhh, Mr. Neil Grant...LAZY. ALL of them Lazy, be it his Lazy is no match for others. We always doing his work while he either hung over or high off the stuff he be high on and he's never on time either. It's bad when your prep team is waiting at 8 am and you arrive 45 min later...multiple mornings. I haven't been clocked in on some days, I'll ask to get clocked in and the response is, "oh. We'll get it done later in the office". This has happened on more the one occasions and I'm just it getting treated fair here. I'm a year into being a newly wedded couple with 5 mouths to feed...i need some answers here please.
Sincerely, A concerned cook.
P.S. We've been working without AC for a couple weeks now and it's very hot at times these managers really dont care about anything but they're vacation time that they'll get a the end of the week and brag about it daily. Florence needs me Managers! Josh Hallman is the ONLY great outstanding manager there that actually cares and will help anybody with anything!
not getting what I ordered!
On July 2nd, my husband and I went for dinner at Longhorn, hoping to get the same ribeye steak that we've gotten in the past. What we received before was by far one of the best tasting and tender steaks. When we went to order I noticed the steak came in a 6 oz version with grilled shrimp Because the 12 oz was way too much for us, we opted for the smaller one . What I received was most definitely not a ribeye steak. It didn't taste the same nor was it tender like a ribeye. To me it was a sirloin and I felt like I was chewing my shoe. If I wanted a sirloin I would have gone down the street to Texas Roadhouse for half the price. It had no marbling like a ribeye which is what makes it so tender. I didn't want to make a fuss to our waiter because I felt it wasn't his fault. I feel like we were tricked into thinking we got the right steak. I know what a ribeye is supposed to look like and taste like. We were very disappointed and will not return.
food, manager, and dining room environment
On June 30, 2019 was at restaurant in Fleming Island1605 County Rd. 220, Orange Park, FL. There was a dog at the next table to ours under the table scratching constantly and licking his butt. No evidnece he was a service dog of any kind. A totally disgusting environment. The manager was called over by someone at onother table and she said that they don't...

We went to Long Horns out near the Jacksonville International Airport for a family 50th birthday celebration. We had requested a reservation and was told they do not take reservations so we waited well over an hour to be seated.
Last night we returned there only to wait 30 minutes for a table. Ok no problem. But there were 5 empty tables across the room. Those tables were tended carefully by management and staff for a party coming in. After almost an hour they put those tables together for the group who they were reserved for. Really? Reserved tables? Seriously? How could this be. For they don't do reservations. We frequent there often but will not nor will those we go with if this is proper procedure. No reservations for one but okay for another!?
Not to mention waiting to pay our bill because the big group wanted their drink order taken first.
As you can see as loyal customers we are extremely unhappy with this situation!

6:30-7-30 p.m.
My husband and I always look forward to eating at LongHorn Steakhouse as we are Canadians and do not have this franchise in Canada.
On our way down to Virginia, we dined at a LongHorn's in Altoona, PA and had an amazing dinner and waiter. Because of this excellent experience, we thought we'd pass by other restaurants and return for our last vacation night's dinner and celebrate Father's Day at the Watertown LongHorn's.
We arrived around 6:30 p.m. at dinner time and the eve of Father's Day. Our wait time was minimul and we were seated within 5 minutes as there were only 2 of us.
Now the dining concern:
We ordered our usual - Flat Iron Steak, and I had the garden salad and double baked potato. Our dinners looked great when the arrived. My husband was happy with his dinner. On the other hand, I was extremely disappointed with my steak as I found, after 2 bites, that it was not HOT, but barely warm. I advised the waitress as she walked by and she offered to have this steak warmed up. Meanwhile, my husband is eating and finishing his food, when my arrived back. I was shocked to see the same steak with the 2 bites, and a new double stuffed potato. At this time, the waitress informed us that the manager was taking 10% off the price of my dinner which I thanked her for.
Unfortunately, upon trying my steak again, I found it to be no hotter - it was still just warm. I tried the baked potato and it was partially raw and I could not eat it. The waitress came by again to check on the warmed up steak and I informed her that the steak wasn't any hotter and that the potato wasn't cooked. She then responded that she saw the chef remove the steak from the grill and that it should have been hot, but it definitely wasn't. I ended up eating the steak, but unable to eat the partially cooked potato.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with this dining experience. The waitress informed the manager, who was assisting in the kitchen, of my dining situation and she graciously covered the cost of our entire dinner and beverages. This genture was appreciated, however, I personally felt that the manager should have taken to time to come out to speak to a disatisfied customer. The patrons seated behind me tapped me on the shoulder to say that the waitress wasn't very pleasant with myself or them and the husband informed me that his meal was not hot either.
I mentioned this incident to a friend who is a chef, and he said in Canada, any food that is returned to the kitchen is immediately placed in the garbage and would not be replaced on the grill due to Health regulations. My steak had 2 bites removed and was placed back on the grill and replated with a new potato.
This unfortunate dining experience has turned me off of eating at a LongHorns on our next U.S. vacation.
I felt that it is important to inform Corporate of my situation so that future diners will not have to be discouraged with their LongHorn dining experience.
Sincerely,
J. Jesshope
both product and service
Hello:) I want to start out by saying that I worked in the service industry for over ten years. Starting out as a server and being promoted to a bartender as soon as I turned 21 and then later on FOH manager. With that being said, I totally understand things happen and that's ok...but we had service and product that was very unacceptable. We've dined in and ordered carry out at your Oxford AL location countless times, and each time, everything has been fantastic! The only not-so-great thing that has happened to us was we had a steak that was overcooked, but the other three steaks were perfect so we ignored and didn't send ur back because as a former service industry worker, I totally get that those things happen sometimes. It was no big deal at all. Fast forward to last night, we went in and everything went well at first, but my husband's drink was never refilled. We had to ask the server every time he needed a refill...which was 3 times. I'd understand if she was slammed, but she wasn't. It was 9:00pm... still, it wasnt a big deal. She refilled it promptly when we asked. Then, I ordered a strawberry margarita. The first one was great. The second one I got, I realized there was mold on the fresh strawberries that my drink was garnished with...The strawberries were on a plastic pick, inside my drink. I waited for the server to come back so I could tell her, but she never did so I decided to bring it to the bartender and she profusely apologized. She was great and said she'd make me another with no fresh strawberries. When our server brought it to the table, she never apologized. I get back to the table and start drinking my margarita. I was time for us to check out. Our check was 91 dollars (we had an apatizer, 2 rib eyes and, 2 sweet teas, a kids drink, and 2 margaritas). My husband is normally a great tipper, but he felt she only deserved a little over 10% because of the tea issue and she rarely came to check on us. With me being in the service industry, I felt like we should have given her more of a tip. In my mind, maybe she was having a bad day? You just never know so I wanted to tip her 20 dollars. Well, the server came back to get the check presenter. My husband had put a $100 dollar bill in it and had a 3 more dollars sitting on the table to add to it. As soon as she started to walk away, I had leaned over the table to add more money to the $3 sitting on his side of the table (to make her tip $20), and my arm knocked my full margarita over. It was my clearly my fault. The drink spilled all over my 2 year old daughter, myself and all over the table. The server had just picked up the check presenter so she wasn't more than 10 feet away from the table. She heard the drink spill, stopped right where she was and asked what happened and said "hang on I'll bring YOU something to clean it up". Now, I'm no princess and I would have certainly offered to clean it myself, (every time my daugther (2) makes a mess in the floor at a restuarant, I pick up as much as I can, then ask for a broom to sweep the rest, but no one has ever let me) But to me, her suggesting I clean up the spill was terrible customer service. I would have never ever, ever said that to a guest if a drink was spilled when I waited tables. I would have cleaned it up for them. So I sit there for more than 10, minutes waiting for her to come back with something for me to clean it up with. I was soaked and angry. It was one of the large margaritas so I still had some in the shaker. I had time to finish the rest of the margarita that was in the shaker which made a full margarita and then some. My husband had time to get up and clean my daugther off the best he could. I didn't want to get up and go to the bathroom to clean myself off because I figured the server would be back any minute with the stuff for me to clean it up. When we realized she probably wasn't coming back, we just left. Needless to say I didn't leave that extra money. That is the first time in my life I've tipped less than 20%. I normally over tip and 20% is my minimum. I'm very dissatisfied with what happened last night. I remember the servers name but I don't want to get her fired, because like I said, I don't know if she was just having a bad day. I wish I knew the bartenders name so I could praise her. On a good note, the food was wonderful as always and the steaks were perfect. I would hate to have to find a new favorite steak restaurant, but my husband is irate and never wants to come back. I really hope you don't think I'm being rude to you at all. I know sometimes if you can't hear someones tone of voice, it may seem rude. I completely understand that you personally, had nothing to do with this. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. Have a great day!
I am complaining about flying insects
My best friends Birthday was on 6/21/19. We decided to go have appetizers and cocktails at Longhorn around 10:30pm because we had already had a Birthday Dinner for her earlier that day around 5 pm. Everything was fine until after we got our appetizers and drinks. It look like either gnats or fruit flies started flying around. We couldn't enjoy our food with having to keep fanning and covering it. We asked a waiter if it was ok to move to another table and he helped with moving us but the insects were flying around at that table as well. We asked for a manager and he asked if we wanted to move again after he acknowledged seeing the bugs. I took video and pictures. These bugs were landing on our food and the ketchup bottle and all around. The manager seemed to not care, all he kept saying was "they look like Gnats". It's ridiculous how many gnats were flying around and he didn't seem to care.

service
On Wednesday, June 19th at about 8pm my brother and I went the the newly open Longhorn Restaurant in Farmingdale, New York . When we first walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman at the reception area by the door. They told us it would bw a five minute wait, while standing there we noticed a garbage can on the side of the reception table that had garbage overflowing from it, it was disgusting. I mentioned it to the receptionist and he simply thanked me.
The wait ended up being thirty minutes not five, once seated, we didn't see out waiter for at least ten minutes. He finally came and we ordered drinks, an appetizer and soup, we had no silverware and waited another ten minutes to get some. The waiter came back and took our order, we both has steaks, corn on the cob and a potato. Twenty to thirty minutes later the waiter came to us and told us he lost our order (not the food), the original order, so we had to start all over again.
When we finally got our food the steaks were not cooked as ordered, we ate them anyway as it would have taken much longer to wait for replacements. The corn on the cob was burnt, I didn't eat it. I asked for my french onion soup to have no bread, it came with bread, I had to pick it out. There were dirty napkins on the floor next to our table, it just didn't look nice. We were seated next to the kitchen door and could here the staff loudly gossiping and complaining about their customers. Lastly, the mens room had no toilet paper and it was quite dirty in here. Overall, the experience was not a good one, we spent about $80.00 with the tip, it certainly wasn't worth it. My name is Thomas Dodge, my phone number is [protected] should you with to call. My address is 245 Ferndale Ct. Copiague, NY 11726 should you wish to respond.
In closing, here in Long Island, we have many good steak houses such as Texas Roadhouse, Peter Lugers, the Elbow room, Blackstones, Jakes, Outback just to name a few, our first visit to the Longhorn was okay, the second was a disaster.
bad service
I want you to know my family recent experience at Long Horn SteakHouse in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This store is located in front of Colonial Park on
route 22.
My daughter took me and my wife in the LongHorn for fathers day dinner. All
total it was a party of five.
The waitress came up to the table and ask what we wanted to drink So we order
my wife ordered a coca and when she got it it was water down and did not taste like coca. I order a ice tea, when it came to my table the ice tea was actually warm when
I drank it and it was warm not cold, I was surprised because the drink had ice in it.
We all order our meal seem good but we had to ask for bread. My daughter had to eat her sweet corm off the cob when she ask for a sharp knife it never came.
I order a bowl of patato soup when it came it was cold.
The waitness had to take it back to the kitchen. It came out the second time and it
was just barely warm, not hot.
It was a bad experience for all of us and I fell you should know and have these services inproved. We are not sure if we will return to this Longhorn. It was for my fathers day gift and ending up being ? I most likely talk to other about my experience. My family name was Klinger's and Hebda's along with our grandson
and/or great grandson' signed James Klinger [protected].
food quality
My wife and I are regular visitors at the Longhorns in West Springfield, MA. Two weekends ago, we visited on a Saturday night. My wife ordered the ribs without any problems. I ordered the special Hawaiian ribeye medium rare. The steak arrived woefully undercooked and extremely chewy and full of fat. The manager had the steak put back on the grill but did not address the quality of the meat. I order ribeyes quite frequently, and realize they contain a good amount of marbleing. This cut however went far past my expectations. Very sad!
wait time
I did call ahead seating for 7 including 2 small children for a booth. We have been waiting 2 1/2 hours. They have seated several large parties after us. I asked when we would be seated. The server said if I wanted high top they could seat me right away. I spoke with the manager. He said they would get us a booth
I went to rest room and saw 2 booths open. They seated other people and then said they could seat us. We went back and they had a table. What part of booth do they not understand? They are telling people who just arrived it will be 20 - 15 minutes. I feel the sweater is harassing us on purpose!
Kim Carver. [protected]
They keep seating other people. My daughter is 8 months pregnant. Not good experience on Father's Day!
Still waiting over 2 1/2 hours!
the service was amazing but the food was burnt and the manager frannie was very rude to us when we let her know
We came to eat at the location on Hwy 72 in Huntsville Alabama at 11:10 on a saturday morning. We ordered right away and the server Jessica was amazing. We ordered the lunch hamburger steak and a bacon cheeseburger. We finally received our food 45 minutes later and when it came out it was so burnt you couldn't eat it. We ask for the manager to let them know. She (Frannie)came to the table and was very rude to us about the situation. We will never return to this location. Customer service is everything when it comes to being a restaurant manager.
Definitely didn’t yell or scream because that would be rude and if getting burnt food after 45 minutes is not getting my way then I guess you are right. I have worked in customer service for many years and if I was ever to treat someone like we were treated and act like I didn’t care about there bad experience then I would be fired.
soup-potato-steak bill to wrong person-sorry service lack of management training my guess
Lhs 1800 mall blvd buford ga.
I pre arranged a early fathers day party for 10 at the location above.
The party date was sunday june 9th at noon. we all arrived prior to 1150 am and were
Seateded next to the bathroom in a booth and given (1) chair.
Before I sat down I handed the hostess my c.. c and told her it was important that I pay for the meals. the bread and appetizers were brought out promptly. the soup I ordered came out luke warm and the mystery waitress was not seen until the dinners were being sereved thus there was no need to say any thing at that time about the soup.
To my misfortune my steak was warm at best and the patato was the same way!
Since we did not see our mystery waitress after the dinners were brought out I had to fulfill one of my guests requests, so I left the table and went out to scout some a1 for my guest. I repeated my scouting a 2nd time for a operable salt shacker.
L ater, our waitress did her best by poking holes inthe top of our one salt shaker that was to server 10 people.
Being the pre fathers day was a happy get together comlaints from my guesst were
Held bsck, I could tell by what remained on there plates.
I gave a generous gratuity to the waitress, once I saw the poor service
And luke warm foof items were not her fault but managements for assigning her to so many tables to serve.
And the worst thing of this dinner was the bill! because it was not given to the pre designated person.
My daughter is by no means poor, she works and goes to school. I know her budget.
My request to have the dinner charged to my card was not met.
Thus a argugement, and bad feeeling came about in trying to reinburse my daughter
Since she was mistakenly given the bill.
Poor management from the kitchen to the assignment o f to many tables for the waitress to properly care for to the non attentiveness of the hostess made the event a regrettable one.
Get it together long horn it isnt rocket science on how to operate a restaurant
At 1150 am on a sunday.
9 mistreated customers
And one very unhappy one

waitress fayetteville georgia
My husband and I were treated as though we were not there our waitress had two tables. She was rude to he and I and continued to only serve the table next to us. She paid us no attention, didn't ask if we were ok or if we needed anything. She did smile and be friendly with the table next to us and get them everything they needed. The order was wrong and when we tried to get her attention she walked right past us. Food was cold and when we asked for a manager one never came she instead said the manager was busy and she brought us the check. Her entire attitude towards my husband and I was unacceptable. She acted very racist towards us and I felt like we should never return there again.
