L'Oreal International damageclaim, schemes claims, octroiclaims shortages in pack casesclaims not giving to distributor

Respected sir,
I am distributor of loreal india pvt ltd handling bhiwandi area since 2004..
I would like to tell you from the day I started distribution in bhiwandi till julyaugust2009 no bde no asm came to bhiwandi area to work in my market.
From company I was not having any correspondse of anything company monthly activities andschemesonly one psm was coming to my point for collecting claims informing us to secondary schemes for my area and we submit claims to him and normally all claims were coming on time.
Today my repalcement, octroi, secondary schemes, primary pack case shortages claims are pending from company which totals rs 150661.78. (One lakh fifty thousand and six hundred sixty eight rupees) the company people are denying to give me credit.
Sir kindly intervene in this matter and give a proper solution to me

L'Oreal International dried out

I took the time out of my schedule to purchase mascara for my thin lashes. So many products to chose from; I selected Double Extend lash fortifier & extender. I took my time to compare products, potential results and prices. Step one, the extender was completely dried out. I rubbed the brush on my lashes but I did not see anything. I then rubbed the brush on the back of my hand just to make sure. It was hard as a rock. Step two the magnifier was not as bad. However, the brush would not get fully coated after reinserting it several times. This was a total waste of my time. It aggravates me that a company such as L’Oreal would allow a product to be sold in this condition. The condition of this mascara tells me, your customer, that L’Oreal is more concerned about the bottom line. I purchased this product from CVS Drug Store. No one gave me thie mascara and it was not on sale. Put the customer first and the profits will follow.

L'Oreal International wrong colour in the box

I've bought a L'Oreal hair dive No.3-Brasilia Dark Brown and my hair is now Dark Black :( this is really disturbing for me since i have strugled for more than 4 years to take out the black colour from my hair and now after hair cuts and bleaching my hair i just get this coulou back in my hair because of the incompetence and ignorance of others
I wont stop to this complaint and i will make sure that everyone will hear my problem :(
This is highly unfair from my point of view and im sorry to write this because I've always used L'Oreal and never had any problems with it untill today

I am ticked. I lost two boxes of brand new number nine blondes because one was gold and probably maybe right. But the other was dark red. I had them beside each other once they were mixed. I did not trust either then. I want my money back.

I have dark red inside my brand new box of #9 blonde. ! I threw it out! I want my money back. I threw 2 out cause i do not trust the other then either. I Have many pics if you give me a place to share.

L'Oreal International wrong color

I have been using Clariol Natural Instincts hair color user for 10 years until they discontinued my shade of hair color No. 16 spiced tea. So I was in a panic and noticed L'Oreal Healthy Look Light Auburn 6RR. I figured it looked close to my natural color so I'll try it. Did the strand test and no problem. Colored my hair and followed directions (not my first time using hair color) and to my horror ended up going from light auburn to black with a slight purple tinge! The last time this happened to my hair was 15 years ago when a salon tried to use permanent color on my hair! It turned black and they had to bleach it to get the color out! This product says no ammonia lasts through 28 shampoos, I don't think so. Also immediately following this disaster I washed and scrubbed my hair at least 12 times to try and get the color to fade. No way. Extremely upset and will NEVER use this product again! Thanks L'oreal Paris.

i had blonde hair and wanted a light auburn, almost brown, OMG i have purple hair with blonde streaks, i'm 42, it is horrible, how long do i have to wait till i can try to fix it? anyone know?

I had light Blonde colored hair. I bought LOREAL PARiS Medium Blonde natural color.. put the application on this morning and my hair turned dark brown! I have been coloring my hair blonde for years and have never had this happen. I will never use any LOREAL products EVER again!
I may be smiling in the pictures but this doesn't mean that i am please with the outcome! I figured my smile may make this dreadful hair color look better! Thanks a lot Loreal. Do you realize how hard it is to get your hair back to blonde after having this dark of a color?

I used this last night and my hair is purple. I have to go to work with this hair...I've washed it 5 times and it's not fading at all. Not too impressed.

The exact same thing happened to me! I used Light Auburn 6RR, and my hair turned out an extremely dark reddish purple... almost black. Really upset about it.

L'Oreal International sexual exploitation of employees

It is with deep regret i would like to bring to your notice that the Senior employees of Loreal India are exployting their collegues. To Investigate the scam and exploitation I would plead the investigating agencies to visit the hotels / tesorts where the company's seminars and annual functions are condcuted. This includes the visit of the employees to Foreign countries. In the name of education and training tours / trips are organised at out station location and all sorts of nonsense takes place after midnight parties. The ethical supervisor of the area is the main organiser of the events and hence there are no complaints which are forwarded to the Head office in Paris. Please investigate all the General Managers, Regional managers and marketing heads of all the departments. Some of the evidance is available on the facebook pages of the employees. Hard evidance can be collected from the hotels / resorts where the functions are organised.

L'Oreal International I have brought 4 of them and after about 3 weeks the brush on the wand turns up at the end. I love the eyeliner but the wand brush is faulty.

So far, I have brought 4 Loreal Black Eye Liners. Its called L'Oreal Paris Kohl Eyeliner Black. High Intensity Pigments.
Its strange it works beautifully. Then after about 3 weeks the brush on wand curls up at the end. I couldn't believe it thats why I brought another 3. I have never ever had this happen in my whole life. For such a great company I am very surprised this is happening to your products.
I don't want to seem, a pain . But I truely, want to help your company. I am a loyal customer and needed to write very annoyed I have become. I work at a hospital with many girls. We all talk about things in the tea room.
The first Eyeliner I had I cut the tip off the wand but then the wand didn't work properly. Hopefully, this letter will help you sort the problem out.

I have the same problem with L'Oreal eyeline. I stopped using it over a year ago because my eyes seemed to keep getting infected. I found an unopened package of one I had purchased a while back and tried it again. In one use, my eyes are red and weepy, like I have an eye infection. I will never purchase this product again.

Many years ago i went to the Dr with what i thought was an eye infection. It was the eyeliner! Last week i purchased another loreal eyeliner forgetting why i stopped using it. Once again my eyes look like i have Pink Eye.

Lancome Artliners are the ultimate best. LOreal owns Lancome so a lot of the technology and products are similar. They're a little more expensive, but if you're buying 4 cheapies at a time, might as well splurge.

L'Oreal International customer service / haircolor advice

L’Oreal complaint - customer service

Today is 5/31/2011 (Tuesday). I called L’Oreal at [protected]. The call lasted 24 minutes and 11 seconds.

If I recall correctly, I think I talked to a “Barbara”. To say in the possible nicest way that I can…She was RUDE, annoying, irritating, condescending, patronizing, insinuating! She told ME and I quote that I “CAN’T COMPREHEND” the words coming out of her mouth. She offered to refer me to a supervisor. She offered to repeat the words that she just uttered. She also said that I may need to talk to a supervisor, so that their supervisor can repeat the words to me, except re-phrased differently. I clarified to her that I can completely and fully comprehend her and her words. I even recapped our whole conversation of her uttering to me that I basically cannot understand the words coming out of her mouth.

The whole time, she made it seem that I was too stupid to understand the words that she was speaking. She even had to reiterate (yes, reiterate) and repeat in a slow manner, the words that she had just uttered. I was treated like an inferior. I was subject to indirect ridicule and direct insinuations that I could not possibly comprehend her. I was treated in an indignant manner that should not be repeated EVER to anyone.

I recommend this employee to be re-trained, specifically in customer service. There’s the saying, “The customer is always right.” am the customer. am the consumer. buy YOUR products. This employee needs a better understanding (and training), in how to effectively deal and communicate with customers in an appropriate and pleasant manner. And that includes treating the customer (ME!) with dignity, respect and patience.

She had NO PRDODUCT RECOMMENDATION at all for me. She told me that I had to “LOOK LIKE THE MODEL ON THE BOX!”. She told me I “can’t go from black to blond”. She told me what I CAN’T do. She was basically just saying no, No and NO. She told me I can’t get to a light brown (from black). She also told me I can’t lighten to medium brown (from black). She said the lightest I could go is a “DARK BROWN”. She said I’m going to turn my hair “black”.

I called L’Oreal because I had questions about a specific haircolor product. That product was “L’Oreal Couleur Experte 9.2, Cool Light Blond. I had questions about the developer volume for the shade 9.2 and other shades. I asked “Barbara” what the result will be (on my hair), if I use L’Oreal Couleur Experte 9.2. She said that this product will NOT work on my hair. She said I will NOT go blond. My plan is NOT to go blond, using the shade 9.2. I know that will NOT work. My plan was to use the shade 9.2 (blond) to get to an ashy medium/light BROWN.

For a company such as L’Oreal, I expected a lot more! I expected MUCH MORE from L’Oreal. From a company that is innovative and fashion-forward, I really expected more. This thought and expectation permeates through to the employees. I expect not just the products of this company, but also its employees to uphold their standards. The employee that I spoke to did NOT meet the standards that I had in mind from a great company such as L’Oreal! This has got to be one of THE MOST, if not the most UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE I have EVER had from calling customer service. I am very, utterly, and extremely DISAPPOINTED in this company. My expectations have NOT been met. My answers have NOT been answered. My problems have NOT been solved.

Actually "joelbaby", I know a thing or two about hair (esp. haircolor). I would KNOW if my hair would turn red or blue. I'm not that idiotic! Of course, there's more to the question than asked. YOU didn't hear the entire converstation. YOU weren't listening when she was practically telling me that I'm stupid b/c I "can't comprehend". I excelled in English in school and I graduated from an actual COLLEGE, so I'm not stupid when it comes to ENGLISH. Obvs, no idiot in their right mind would want orange hair. Actually, the ### didn't give any "right advice" at all, other than practically degrade/demean/dismiss/yell at me practically the entire convo i had with her. Oh, and I do know what I'm doing. I've most defo dont my research when it comes to dye, developers, toners, bleach, soapcaps, high-lights, etc. So b4 u judge somebody, actually find out if that person DOES have some knowledge about the topic. It's no wonder that customer service jobs are being outsourced, with the audacity and sheer complete degrading RUDENESS that that loreal chick shown AND said to me.

Oh and as for going to a "trained hairdresser", if you're talking about a "haircolorist", then no fugging thanks. If I wna mess up my hair, i can do so for for a lot less money myself. If I wna get the color i want, i can also do so for hundredS LESS. It's freakin infuriating how all y'all always say "go to a professional". It's b/c you're too LAZY to give any REAL advice (ie: exact products/brands, qty of product to use, time to leave in, etc). Not everybody on planet Earth is filthy RICH like you. Not everybody on planet Earth can afford to throw down hundreds or more (not even including the damn tip, bs) just for haircolor, esp. when it only lasts a mere month (if even at that!). I pay LESS for my OPTOMETRIST to give me an EYE EXAM, where results last at least a YEAR...yet, I pay MORE (hundred$ more) for a "colorist" to color my HAIR, where results last a MONTH at most. An optometrist (read: A DOCTOR) who has years of experience and ACTUAL academic training under their belt is charging me WAY LESS than what a simple "colorist" is charging. Even dental insurance and a dental check-up lasts 6 WHOLE MONTHS and is WAY CHEAPER than getting hair "pro" colored every-single-frigging-month. Just like it's not a survival need to color hair, it's ALSO not a survival need to pay EXORBITANT PRICE$ just to simply get my hair colored.

I will never use Loreal again they were very rude when I called and lied as well The wrong hair color was in the box I have used Loreal for years and never had a problem And never been talked to so rudely.

I am not bashing you, I can only reply based on the tone in your post and reply. I think that answered your question. There isn't anything that bottle will do to your hair except maybe turn it orange.

I feel that by reading your post you wanted her to tell you that you could do it. She was only doing her job in telling you the things you CANT do, especially since there isn't anything you CAN do with one measly bottle of that product on black hair.

I have went black to blonde one time by myself ( as I cannot afford a hairdresser either) The process for me was long and cumbersome and required many products. This process took me FOUR processing (three bleaches and one color applications) and TWO full days to achieve the effect of a light brown at a cost of 70.00 to me for the bleach, the activator, color, toner, and also for aphogee hair protein treatment because I wrecked my hair. I'm not saying I did it the right way, but using straight bleach on my hair still didn't get the black out in one application, so I can't say what one bottle of something that isn't full bleach would do.

not bashing you, but honestly, to save yourself the hassle, save your money for a bit ( because in the end, to get the wanted results you will shell out a lot of money anyway) and go to a professional.

Why not go to a trained hairdresser.
There's more to the question than you asked, as it seems you don't even know if your hair will throw red or blue when you lighten it. If you want Orange hair you're probably going down the right path. People at L'Oreal deal with massive hair salons. They gave you the right advice - especially as you have no idea what you're doing.

L'Oreal International don't buy from them

I bought the new Loreal Visible Lift Foundation and loved it until I got 2/3 through the bottle and the pump top stopped working. Now I cannot access the remaining makeup from the bottle and the cap is not a screw top to it's impossible to get foundation out of the bottle even though there's a lot left. It's a very poor design. I liked the idea of the pump until it stopped working. I won't buy the product again with this top.

L'Oreal International didn't change my hair to right color!!!

I bought the L'oreal Paris hair dye to make my hair blonde. I had a strwberry color hair and figured this color would change my hair rather easily because the name of it was super blonde. I put it in my hair and left it in for over an hour, when I washed it out much to my suprise my hair was still orange and only the roots were some what blonde. I called the 800 number hoping for someones' help and they tell me that I didn't leave it on long enough and I can go buy more tomorrow to do this all over again. These bottles are 10 dollars a piece and I have to buy two for my hair because it is thick, so I did not want to have to do this twice making myself spend 40 dollars, I might as well went to a salon for that price. I am very disappointed and would like my money back and the woman didn't offer me any help either just telling me to buy more product. Well just so L'oreal knows I will not buy this product again due to the fact that they cannot seem to be any help to their customers what so ever.

L'Oreal International the pump on the bottle breaks all the time!

I have a makeup table with lots of makeup. Standing in the corner are five bottles of visible lift make up. I love the make up, although expensive.

Visible lift makeup is outstanding. Love the texture, covers well, stays on. And my skin does look better after using it for months.

The problem is all the pumps break half way through. I have even bought bottles with the pump broken. I just open it up and stir it with the wand thingy, and dab it on the back of my hand.

Pain! Still ends up wasteing half the bottle.

Why does it have to have a pump? ***!

I have exactly the same problem with the Revitalift Day Cream but the pump only works a couple of times before it won't work anymore! I then have to struggle to get the top off the bottle so I can use it. If it happens again then I wot be buying it anymore.

I would be glad that it is the bottle that is of poor quality, not the makeup. Anyways, why don't you buy a plastic pump bottle for a dollar and pour the makeup into it?

L'Oreal International colored my hair with 9.1 it turned grey help

You don't make this easy! colored my hair with loreal paris 9.1 and it turned grey.

am in mexico so difficult to find a professional to help. when can I recolor it?

I colored my hair this am wth Loreal Paris Preference 9.1 March 19th at 8:00. It turned grey.

I want to recolor it today if possible.

It looks horrible

I am expecting guests and have some important functions to attend.

My question to Loreal is, can I color it today or tomorrow, or when?

It's a simple question needng a simple answer.

Want this to go to Loreal.

L'Oreal International wrong color!

I bought a box of Sublime Mousse #83 Golden Medium Blonde hair color from Loreal. I colored my hair today and it turned out BLACK! My hair was a light brown when I started. I called Loreal and although they were very polite, the best they can do is send me a refund, for $8 and some change!?! How is that going to help fix my hair? I have black hair! Now, I am going to drop twice as much at the salon to have them fix this mess. Im so upset. That will be the last time I ever buy at home hair color. Thanks a lot Loreal!

That is my complaint up there and I would like to post a follow up. Simply stated, Loreal rocks! They addressed my complaint and took every step to resolve this problem! The representative I spoke to was amazing and worked directly with me and a local salon to have my hair fixed, on them! I never in a million years would have expected such great customer service from such a huge company. They acknowledged the fact they made a mistake and apologized for it and then fixed it. I was and still am a fan. Thanks Loreal! (no sarcasm this time!)

Just got off the phone with L'Oreal Canada. I purchased Sublime Mousse 60 Pure Light Brown. I had purchased Sublime Mousse before, Pure Light turned my hair black. The rep said that this product doesn't lighted artificial colour like the box shows. Really hair colour doesn't change hair colour? L'Oreal should have put a recall notice on this product.

A few days ago I purchased L'Oreal Sublime Mousse #70 but decided it may be darker than I want. I went to Wal-Mart today to puchase a different color and at the check out that said they could not sell it and were going to have to pull it off the shelf. The clerk didn't know why. I was looking forword to using this method. Could you advise why it is being pulled?

L'Oreal International feria hair color

I have used other L'Oreal hair color products (Preference, Excellence) without any problem. I wanted to try the Feria because of the shine the company says it imparts to the hair. What happened to me was anything but beautiful. I have very fine thin hair and usually have no problem blow drying it. Now I have a very hard time getting a brush through it AND it looks and feels straw-like. So far none of the products I purchased to tame the frizz have worked on it.
Don't buy/use Feria hair color!

L'Oreal International falsifying products

I bought the Loreal Paris couleur experte thinking since it was the more expensive product, that it would achieve the color better than others. I am horrified by the results! I bought this light orange color, expecting SOME shade of orange to be my result. WRONG! my result, after 25 minutes, was a DARK brown shade. I'm going ahead with the highlights, praying that comes out fine. I am outraged by the results. No more Loreal products will be purchased by me. What a joke!

L'Oreal International never purchase this hair color

Bought the loreal's 10 min to go haircolor in dark brown.I got half way threw the dye job to find out there was no dye left in the bottle i still had a little less then half my hair to dye.i have medium length hair i do not have long hair where it would need two bottles to cover my whole head.also the color i purchased was totally different then what my hair turned out it was uneven and it is more black then brown and now my hair is mutli-colored and half dyed dark ...thanks alot! i will never purchase loreal hair color ever again!

Box of L'oreal sublime hair mousse contained no instruction nor gloves. Box was all sealed when I bought it.

L'Oreal International liquid foundation

On Dec. 2oth I purchased a bottle of Loreal liquid makeup from Duane Reade . It wasn't what I wanted, but I couln't return it. I was hoping that Loreal would understand and give me a coupon for a different shade, since Duane Reade won't make exchanges. Loreal didn't give a damn. I'm not made of money, but they expect me to eat the cost. I'm supposed to buy the sunday paper to, if I'm lucky get a coupon. I'm also supposed to ask the manager of D.R. if they'll make an exception and exchange product. Instead I'm forced to spend more money to buy a different shade. They all make off like bandits.

When I tried to return gift cards yesterday at a Duane Reade. The terrible manager Jimmy in a long list of items he would return and refund the money the first thing he said was used makeup, custom made prescription pills, and an opened water bottle. Of course he LIED and said it was DR's policy not to return gift cards even if they had a silver scratch off portion that was UNSCRATCHED. I went to another Duane Reade that had an exceptional manager that refunded the gift cards. I would suggest trying another Duane Reade.

L'Oreal International anti-wrinkle cream youth code gave me wrinkles (2-3 weeks use)

I bought the Youth Code cream and eye cream combo pack from Kicks - SollentunaStockholm SWEDEN beginning of November 2010. After applying it according to the instructions, twice a day I noticed wrinkles formed practically over night after the 2nd week of use! These new wrinkles was definitely not there before I started using Youth Code. These wrinkles are now growing deeper everyday. (They look like they are here to stay).
I am very unhappy, being aged 37, anti wrinkle cream looked very promising not threatening! The assistant at Kicks told me it is the perfect cream for my age.
I do not know what can take the wrinkles away again?
I tried to find a complaint e-mail address on the Sweden page of L'oreal's website and wrote a letter to [protected]@dk.loreal.com (had no idea where else so tried that) But had no reply to date! 18 Dec 2010.

Very very unhappy! Hope I can get some help through you? Please let me know if you can assist me in reaching L'Oreal?

I love the Youthcode face wash, which I can not find except on Ebay for $30.00! So, I tried the Loreal Youthcode pore vanisher and it is a MESS! Horrible! Water pores out and little broken up particles of the brown substance trickle out! Scarey to even try!

L'Oreal International eye liner

Ok, I hope I am doing this correctly so this will reach the proper personnel... Good gosh, I am doing this to enightenen the company and to warn others. Loreal liquid waterproof eyeliner is soooooo wrong on at least two levels... Very very irritating to the eyes; so very easy to get into eyes and have eyes run and hurt better part of the day. The removal of the eyeliner is almost like a piece of tape... It is painful and can come off in a weird strip at times. It also makes the lashes stiff and coated prior to mascara. To all prospective customers, I strongly advise against this product - I wish I had seen something like this before I bought the product. You get what you pay for - I am going back to bobbi brown eyeliner... Thank you for listening
