Love's Travel Stop Diesel Fuel Pumps

I stopped on my regular route for fuel at the Sidney Ohio location on September 18th at approximately 3am. I pulled up to pump 23 and realized the card reader is completely broken off. I couldn't fuel at pump 24 because it was down with a trash can blocking the entrance to it. I moved over to pump 25, tried my fuel card but the card reader is broken, not missing but broken. It could not read my card. I got an error message and "see cashier" notification. It's hard to believe that a location that hasn't been open very long has this many problems with the fuel pumps at the same time. I always fuel, eat and shower at love's but the recent decline in customer service is making me rethink that. I've had issues at plenty of other love's that have overflowing trash cans on the fuel island, no soap and water in the buckets to clean my windshield or just just plain dirty water, no paper towels on the fuel island or leaking fuel nozzles.

Desired outcome: I'd like a response an apology and just do better. Too many places that offer customer service are full of excuses. Complimentary loves points would be nice.

Love's Travel Stop Management/ Tim McGee

My daughter Harley Herman has been working for your company for almost a year now. She has never had any issues with anyone till tonight. Harley is epileptic and has been having alot of mild seizures lately. We have consulted with her doctor and now waiting on a home visit for a 3-7 day brainwave study. Tonight she told the manager on duty, Tim McGee, that she wasn't feeling right and needed to sit down. He told her to take out a trash can first. She called me on my cell phone to tell me she was at the dumpsters. I arrived at the store about 5 minutes after her call and found her slumped over a metal box beside the dumpsters. She told me she had been out there for about 45 minutes and that he did not page her over the walkie or send anyone out to check on her. Mr McGee knows about her health problem and did nothing. If she would've had a full blown seizure, she would've fell and possibly injured herself very seriously. This is not acceptable and something needs to be done about.

Desired outcome: Whatever is appropriate. But also needs to be educated on how to handle this kind of medical situation

I saw a manager change dates on food. On the front line. I would like all the food tested. I want the health department a part of this too. Food has an expiration date for a reason. And to see a manager changing dates means that the staff is being taught wrong. I was a manager at a restaurant and I never did that. This happened just today. I happened to see this with my very eyes!

Love's Travel Stop Bad Diesel

I purchased diesel for Store # 284 in Edinburg TX on 06/08/2022.

My truck has been in the shop in Alice Tx ever since. It is costing me way too much money to get it fixed. I've tried several times to reach out to you guys and no one calls me or emails me back. I would love for someone to get in touch with me asap so this can be resolved. Tkt # 3219295

Desired outcome: First of all, for someone to contacted me and second for the services of my truck be paid for so I can have my truck back.

Love's Travel Stop Fuel pumps

The Loves Truck Center in Whitestown/Zionsville, Indiana is getting really bad about allowing customers to park their vehicles at the fuel pumps and leaving them there while the customer goes inside to eat at the McDonalds or Subway. I observed a family today park at the fuel pumps go inside and start dining at the McDonalds. Keep in mind they did not purchase any fuel at all. This seems to be the trend at this Loves location. I stop buying fuel from this location, and it is only a mile from my house because of this issue. I have addressed this with the manager several times and the reply are always the same" Nothing we can do about it" How about putting a sign up at the pumps telling customers to move their vehicles when they are done fueling. I know this won't fix the problem totally, but it's a start. The thing is all my neighbors have told me they stop getting fuel from this location for the same reasons. I know losing a few customers is probably not a big deal to Loves, but word of mouth will cause that customer list to grow.

Love's Travel Stop Tire service

I had a tire that I had been airing up for the last 2 day it had a nail in it it was a good tire I was waiting for a good chance to get it fixed so today was my chance so I pulled into the loves truck stop on Macon ga. At 1190 frank aversion pky #698 and I talked with the manager Jena Harris she advised me there was a wait about 2 hours so I waited while I waited I tried to air up my tire to see if maybe I go down the road but I had a load on my trailer and my compressor wouldn't air it up but the tire did take air snd was on the rim just fine .I finally got called and i pulled it in the bay 2 hours later the guys tell me they can't set the tire on the bead and inform me I have to nut the only tire she claims she has for $600 witch I had to do cause they took my tire off and would put it back on I believe loves owes me that $600 and another used tire that they screwed up

I had an issue like yours. I had a landscape trailer tire go flat at 3:00 am in Georgia while on the interstate 75. I was 1 mile from the Loves Truck Center, so I took the tire off of my trailer and walked the mile to the Loves. When I got there, they refused to even look at the tire. They told me they don't repair or even look at tires from a passenger vehicle. I asked for the nearest tire location, and they told me 5 miles down the road. I ask if they could at least put air in the tire and was told no. The man told me he could get fired for doing that. I even offered to pay for the air. I would never use Loves Truck Centers again for anything

Love's Travel Stop Cashier

How can it be possible that the cashier doesn't have change? I know there isn't a coin shortage. My total was $1.62 and I went to pay with a $10.00 bill. She informed me that she didn't have change, I would need to either slide a card and get exact change. I went to my car to get 62 cents. She then said thanks have a great day. Hello, I need $9.00 back in change. I guess next time, I pay $1.00 and Love's covers the 62 cents.

Love's Travel Stop Road Side Assistance

Phone number of Loves [protected]

On June 22, My driver had a blowout and I called roadside at 915 pm. I spoke with John who informed me it was a 4 hour wait, I gave him all the info on my driver and his location. No one ever showed up. When I called again at 0530 am to inquire as to why no one was dispatched, the shift was unaware of my call. I spoke with Scottie who was very helpful ( someone one should have arrived at least 0130 am).

As a busy owner who has 3 trucks and frequents your business regularIy, I was perturbed by the fact that my driver was left out on the side of the road from 9 pm until ( roadside arrived at 7 am) 7am.

This is unacceptable. If are going to say you provide a service then you should do your part to do so.

Love's Travel Stop Repair

Yes I arrived loves repair shop 12:00 after noon 6/15/22 muscle shoals Alabama Hwy 72/157 approached lady by the name angel robinson explained to her my situation told me she’ll give me call at 3:00 evening no call I waited till 4:00 walked in she gave the issue two second shift after I fully explained to angel my situation she did not inform me that they could not fix the issue I was having with my truck I was told by gentlemen on second they could only do diagnostic test and that was all as putting me in a bind being so late in the evening I couldn’t not find anyone to come and take a look at my truck due to shop misinformation

Desired outcome: I don’t want anything other than for your employees to to make it clear what they can and can’t diagnose and fix

Love's Travel Stop Scam on Electronics Returns (not being forthcoming with return policy)

Love’s hurts

Garmin ‘on the fritz’

This all started when my Garmin went wonky. Could it be repaired? I didn’t know. I decided to purchase a Garmin at Love’s just in case. But my Garmin was repaired. So I tried to return the unopened Garmin to Love’s for a refund.

The Shocker

Love’s staff told me that it is their policy not to refund electronics (and this was said to me in robotic fashion, as if this was practiced in a mirror).

I read no such policy.

I saw no such policy before the purchase. The store clerks didn’t inform me of this policy before the purchase. What I got was a mad rush, out the door, with the Garmin in hand. One of these clerks (I was helped by 2, one was being trained), was excited to push me out the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY, with the Garmin product in hand.

“This is the big guy. This is the last one!” I was informed. This clerk was absolutely giddy about it all. The other was rather stoic.

Love from a manager from another Love’s Store

“It’s our store policy to inform the customer that electronics are not refundable.” Stated a Love’s store manager of another Love’s.

She said: “I circle that area of the receipt. And I have the customer sign an acknowledgment.” But I got neither of these at the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY. I got a confession from David the General Manager of the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY, that he had no such acknowledgment from me. He had no such signed paper from me.

What I got instead, was the runaround from the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY. David the General Manager had arguments, instead of genuinely trying to solve the problem.

One argument was “We have a sign on the display case,” David said.

I said, this Garmin came from behind the counter, and not the display case. I showed a photo of the Garmin (from my phone to the clerk). I asked ‘Do you have this?”

“Yes,” was the reply. The Garmin was pulled from behind the counter.

David the General Manager said that he’d review the video of the purchase, and would make a determination. But. If David reviewed the video, he already knew that his staff didn’t inform me. He knew that one clerk rolled the receipt up and stuffed it into the paper bag with the Garmin. He knew that they never pointed out that policy about returns.

Purchasing a nonrefundable Garmin was a deal breaker for me (for the reason stated above).

He knew I was never informed before the purchase or after the purchase (that night). I had to find out about the return policy when I tried to return the Garmin a few days later at another Love’s. But nevertheless, David the General Manager of the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY, agreed to refund my money.

The Shameful Stipulation

David the General Manager would refund my money only if I brought the item back to Love’s Waterloo, NY Store 820. But how was I going to do that? Current diesel prices prohibit that kind of out-of-route travel. The nearest to the Love’s Store 820, Waterloo, NY, I could get was a 7 hour round trip during my 10-hour break reset (which is a DOT violation).

I asked about mailing the Garmin to him.

“Absolutely not,” was his reply. I asked about returning it to another Love’s location.

“No,” was his reply.

David the General Manager made it impossible to return this Garmin a timely manner. He knew it would be a daunting task. That’s why he made this stipulation, and rigid specifications. In this way, David the General Manager wins. He gets what he wants (a finalized purchase, and an unhappy client). He punishes me (the customer) for a mistake that his own staff made, by not informing me properly. And I lose.

But Love’s Loses Too

You see, I don’t feel love from Love’s. I haven’t made a single fueling purchase since then. And I never will again. If you check my Love’s rewards card, you will see that I had made substantial fuel purchases in the past; But not anymore; I feel like Love’s cheats it’s customers (and if you’ll cheat me, a nice guy, you will cheat anyone). I can no longer look at that ‘heart’ sign above the tree-line again, the same way. That’s a sad ending to what was once a beautiful relationship.

And in this way, Love’s hurts.

Love's Travel Stop All

It's the worst truck stop I've been to. Kitchen staff at Wendy's is stealing ingredients from chili, the parking is some what ok, but getting out of parking is horrible. The staff are nice but slow. I like loves but this one needs a major work over, from staff all the way up.

Love's Travel Stop Willow Springs Missouri

When you have employees making customers leave or "ban" the. From stores then you need to rethink who is working for you. Tou have several customers who are not allowed in because an employee is not able to keep their mouth shut and work.. What happened to leave your personal life at home. People coming g in drunk or high and working g your stores and making customers feel un safe.

I have several but we will start with Jeanette. She is the rudest women ever. I have seen her scream at customers . I have seen her run customers off . I have also seen her get in the middle of stuff that was none of her business and did not effect loves in any way shape or form . And I also know that you have to fail a drug test for Jordan to rehire you . What a joke this loves is.

Dear sir/ madam

Today I visited your love truck stop# 745 at St. Clair, MI. Between 12:15 to 12:35PM on April 23, 2022 after fuelling my reefer I went inside to your store. I asked your customer representative for a receipt and request her for a ACI document for border crossing. She was extremely rude maybe I disturb her because she was having a lunch on the counter. She went to the computer and called operation manager Stephanie karim. I asked her what’s the matter with the receipt. She misbehaved and told me to stand right there. I really want to go pee badly request to fix the issue I’ll right back. She told me don’t even move. I told her I am going for a pee I am holding it from last two hours than your operation manager entered from the main entrance and loudly told me don’t shout on my employee. I was like wants the matter she was worst than the CSR and misbehaved. I was keep asking her what’s the matter. She said you haven’t pay for the fuel. I told her the transaction went through outside after asking so many time she told me we have a issue with T check But I told her this is not the way to behave with the customers. She told me to swipe your card here again and I did and the transaction went through and she left counter right away. I went to the restroom because I was tired after my 5 days trip from Florida and holding pee for last 2 hour. When I came back I want to know the first CSR because she misbehaved and created this whole scene. She got really aggressive. I asked to call operation manager again because I want to register complaint. She said Manger will not come because you told her this is not the way to talk. Now you get out from here three time ( you have no purpose of life). I am black that’s why you are doing this and I will play this card. This happed in-front of your two other female staff member and they were supporting her and told me to leave the store. I got really upset after all this will never go to this store again. She ruined my weekend.

Love's Travel Stop Discrimination

The manager sent the security to vacate the premises and our 24 hours was not up. There is an handicapped old man that lives there in the parking lot and never moves his car. We did not do anything wrong. This loves is located in Houston Tx on Patton st. The manager is very rude and did not talk to me personally to tell me what we did wrong for her to run us off. We were there for 5 hour's.

Desired outcome: I would like for the management to treat people fairly according the Texas laws for truck stops.

Love's Travel Stop The customer service

Yes I've been going out to loves truck stop to take my showers while my house was under construction and always been nice to me and my husband and even let us take showers together since I am vetran disabled and need help and the night we went out there the counter person didn't offer extra towels for the showers and they only had one handicap chair for 6 stalls when they should have 6 handicap chair for each stalls I think that everyone would agree with me. And the showers rooms where over Condensation with moisture the mirror you couldn't even see. From that I fell and slip and fell and try to catch myself when I fell and broke my femor bone and my husband call 911 and was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery on my hip the next following day. The hospital is charging me 64,000.00 for the surgery that not counting the Ambulance or anesthesia that's more money and gotten me attorney that is working on this case that fall mess up my life I can't hardly walk and do the things In joy now a collection agency as reported on my credit report as a bad debt and dropped my credit score from over 600 to 440 now. I think that loves truck stop need to take care of this bill and I don't asked much and some for pain and suffering. Thankyou for reading this and give me feedback on what should be done.
