mothers day ultimate gift - medium
Received the Mothers Day Ultimate Gift on Saturday 5/20 which was ordered on 5/11. So excited to try it; plugged it in and nothing happened. Had to wait until Monday 5/21 to call and tell them. I asked for 2 day air shipping, but oh no they can't do that; I have to wait for 5-10 days, then I need to ship the defective one back with my own money. They said they would reimburse me. Not sure about that.
Also, the price was $149 as advertised on the website, but when I see my credit card charge, they charged me $149.00, another charge for $8.94, then another charge for $1.00. I agreed to the $149.00 only with free shipping. Guess I paid for shipping a well. Seems like if they really want satisfied customers they would send a unit that actually works and if it didn't it should be their responsibility to express you out a new one and pay for the defective one to be returned.
My 30 day trial is just ticking away since it starts from the date your order.

They should at least send a call tag for the defective one, reset my 30-day trial start date to when I receive a working replacement and reimburse me for the 9.94 extra they charged me for which I did not agree to. The total amount showing on the email confirmation right after I made the purchase says $149.00 and no other charges (copy attached).

They are simply scammers. I bought $25 worth of kit which could be returned in 30 days and I called and said I don't like this product and want to return the lady in customer care told me she will send me more products for free. And also extending 30 days more warranty. After few days in called and said I still don't wNr the product in return the lady said you are a member and without my permission or knowledge they kept on withdrawing money from my account I finally had to talk you my bank and get my money back. Please stay away from them, there product sucks too.

I feel like a fool for purchasing this piece of junk. This product is a scam! The main reason I purchased of to cover dark spots, supposedly to look flawless!
Come to find out, you misrepresented this product. After your ridiculous 7 day challenge, I found out that I need would need to purchase a barrage of products to have this system do what I bought it for!
I would NEVER pay $99.99/a month for this piece of garbage!
I will return this nightmare within 2 days!

Called in and automated service wouldn't let me through unless I had exact date of purchase on c.c. Called the purchase product line and of course they answered right away. Told them I did not understand it to be a continuous club and sending me product and she said she can't help me and transferred me before I could say another thing. Sat on hold a long time and someone answered and said we can't take your call, please give me your name and phone number and we will call you back today or tomorrow. I said I needed the call today, will not be here tomorrow. Her voice was so low you could not understand what she was saying. Still waiting. I found the two people I did speak with briefly to be rude and cut me off. It did not allow for me to cancel over the internet but you can order product over the internet. It said you had to call customer service to cancel but you can't speak to anyone there at the time of the call, they will call me. Still waiting...!

The infomercial implied the original cost was $59.95 and was marked down to around $25. I almost never order from tv commercials because I assume if they're legit they'd be in stores. This one intrigued me though and so I ordered it when it arrived I was informed I'd be charged an addition FIVE payments totaling $300! The $25 was just to try it, and that's non-refundable as is S/H. Completely misleading false advertising and given other reviews I'm afraid I'll have trouble getting them not to charge me the payments even after I return it!
makeup product top broke.
I have already purchased many items from this company. The top broke off of my X-Out and spilled completely out. Company said they needed a picture (I was traveling) and since I bought it the month before they couldn't issue a refund because I couldn't call immediately. Luckily, I kept all the makeup in a metal box, so the spillage was not as bad as it would have been in a fabric makeup bag.
This company does not stand behind its products and I will not be purchasing any more liquid items from them. GlamAir makes a similar product much cheaper and lighter, so order #3 as #6 for the same color, always 3 shades darker.
33% off sale
Luminess is offering their product as being on sale for 33% off. IT IS NOT! In fact, only the first payment is 33% off; the rest is the regular price. This is false advertising and this is misleading customers. This needs to stop. I almost picked up the phone and ordered it until I went online. I am sure many people for this scam. I have been online and seen numerous complaints about this but the scam continues.

When a company asks you to give all your information, credit card, name, address, etc. before they give you the price of the item...RED FLAG. Once I read all these negative reviews, I can understand why this company gets so many complaints. I WAS interested in trying the product, but in no way will I follow through with an order that does not give you the final price of the item you are "trying". I want a description of the item with an option to see what other items are available along with the final prices. Apparently too many people actually buy this item with no knowledge of what the terms are. So no sale from me...I don't trust a company that forces sales in this manner.

we have called and called, they say they are connecting us to another person and we get disconnect. I do NOT want this. my grand daughter ordered and has no idea what this is about.. the air brush broke after a few usages. there are charges on my account I want removed, we have received nothing we should be charged for. remove my account immediately and any charges to it!
the hidden monthly cost
I just wanted to try the $19.95 trial. Then I saw the hidden cost of a 5 monthly additional fee of $79.95. When I tried to cancel the order you already placed the order. I have already called my bank and they have put an alert on this charge. I wish to cancel this order before you mail it out. It will be sent back by return to sender as I won't even try it.

I was recently charged for a product I did not authorize on 10/19/2016 I had not authorized this charge and contacted your company, my wife spoke to a rep who told her it would be taken off and they would rush deliver her a free bonzer which she never received I have contacted my bank and disputed the charge because it was not authorized by me and I never received or do I want to anymore products, I have told my mailman not to leave any parcels from your company, thank you very much and I hope this issue is over.Lawrence vouch

I purchased this product in good faith of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee trial offer. They charged my credit card account on 9/1/2016, the day that I ordered it, 3 charges totaling $40.91, which was the first of 4 payments totaling close to $300.00. I received the product on 9/17/2016. Over the next 3 weeks I attempted to used the product several times when I had leisure time to patiently try to learn the technique. The product simply did not deliver the results as demonstrated by "The professionals" or TV actresses. The results were very bad as a matter of fact, my wrinkles were more apparent and the makeup did not look "natural and flawless" as advertised. At this point, 10/11/2016, I decided to call for an RA and return the product for a refund. The product was packed up as instructed (PLEASE READ the small print return instructions which are very specific and laborious), and mailed with tracking and insurance by USPS on 10/12/2016 which cost me another $12.10. USPS tracking confirmed delivery to the return address provided by Luminess on 10/14/2016. To date 10/29/2016 my credit card has only been credited a $1.00 refund...still waiting for the remaining $39.91 credit.

Unauthorized credit card charges never signed up for a club, and I just wanted to try it. They made it sound so easy on TV. On 10/21 received a huge charge of 81.94. I have never paid that much for Make-up ever. I have sent several E-mails, requested a refund and to be taken off any club and just trying to return the product for a refund is a hassle.

The make up is horrible. My face started to break out and I called them immediately. I sent the product back. The airbrush and makeup. They say they did not get it and keep charging me. This is why I am NOT going to order anything on line any longer. Unless I have a history with any company. People are going to stop ordering items on line, based on TV Ad and go direct to the store and buy where you can look at item and maybe check it out. Here I am trying to stop my credit card now. Bank has appointment for me to come in to get a new ATM card today. ENOUGH!

Letter to Luminess Air:
Let me get this straight — I never received a “declined” payment notice from my credit card company or my bank - just you. I have made payments (you withdrew from my accounts, each in differing amounts at odd dates) of $101.84, $82.94, $102.94, $82.94 and now you ask for two more payments of $82.94 which total $536.54. You are selling the same system online now for “five easy monthly payments of $59.99” which totals $299.95. What is it that makes me so special that I should pay almost double that price and you should be pulling the money out of my accounts at such odd intervals.
My daughter had her wallet stolen a couple of months ago and some of my credit cards (she had permission to use them and they were issued in her name) were in her wallet. I am starting to think that you may be committing some type of fraud in connection with the robbery. The card I used for this purchase was not one in her wallet but the perpetrator did receive some identifying information. Now by telling me you received a “declined” notice I have given you more identifying information.
This is ridiculous. I want a detailed explanation of why you expect me to pay double the price for your product and have no idea as to when you will make withdrawals from my accounts?

Airbrush System
The product was ordered in 2015, I tried the system and make up products but within 2 days my skin started to get big hive like blisters on my chin. Immediately paid the postal service to send it back. The postal service said the exact return date so I contacted Luminess Aire with this information since I only had it less than a week. The customer service said I should have called before returning the product to get a restock number. I told her there was nothing on or in the ad or product box stating this information. I told her the reason for return was due to the blisters created in my chin by the product. She still charged the 24.95 for the one week possession when the ad explicitly states that you will be 100% refunded if not satisfied and product is returned by 30 days. They lied in the ad then lied through customer service then scam the $24.95 from my credit card. I have pictures of what this product did to my face. It's not a pretty picture nor has my skin healed and it has been almost 5 months. If this doesn't heal within the 6th month they definitely have a court case in their hands. Anyone want to join me? Never had blister breakouts on my face and will never speak good things about this product. The lies and damage to my face is enough to make you scream and I'm a very peaceful and reasonable person. Never again...

I purchased three lumpiness air units last year around April. I got one for me and the other two for my daughters to have. Anyways, after about two months use my clogged up so bad, I could not use it anymore. So, one of my daughters told me that she had not even opened her and this was in December 2015, so I used it and the exact thing happened to it. My other daughter said she hadn't used her either, so I just opened it and used once.
My complaint is this going to be a continuous problem. NOT WORTH THE MONEY FOR SURE!
Really, well i'm not alone..I purchased it about 6 week's ago and used it none because the colors were to dark, , so i waited forever again to get the shade i needed..1st time i turned it on i noticed scratches, , lg. one's on the button you turn it on with..then it said to follow c.d. included..so I went to look for it in packaging unit, , not only was it not in this package but then also saw that the brightner that i paid for wasn't included either..i sum this up by the deep scratches on the power button, and missing c.d. and the missing brightner, , that this had been used probably by another unsatisfied customer, , , that this is expensive trash! Save your money and time as this took me 6 wk's first for it to arrive then had not tried after getting it as the base shade and waiting on it to arrive 6wk's had passed! It suck's as i was really wanting this..I should have found this before buying this trash, Gina

I purchased this product from an TV ad, it stated that I had 30 days to cancel my order. I called to cancel the order before the 30 days and they stated that I had to send back the unit. I called three times to cancel my order not knowing that they was still charging my for the unit, to my surprise I just checked my statements and yes, I have been billed for this unit that I would have sent back when I cancel my order before the 30 days and no one requested me to send back my unit that I was uninformed of that needed to be sent back. I thought the unit came with the special promotion.

I totally agree. I just saw the infomercial this evening for the first time and was really impressed and interested in the product until researching the customer reviews. As most of these infomercials go, they are deceitful in their advertising; either the products do not meet the consumer's expectations, or the price is misrepresented with the "trial period" of a low dollar figure with no mention of the total cost of the product. Then upon reading the complaints online, which are numerous, you see how many people are overcharged, never reimbursed for returned products, etc. Most quality companies want your business and are more than happy to replace a broken product at the company's expense, not the customer and many will expedite the second shipment in an effort to make up for the bad product.
Last summer, I actually had an outdoor furniture company send me an entire new dining table due to minor damage to the edge of the table that could have been filed smooth and .touched up with paint with perhaps the offer of a discount for the defect in the table. The table was $1000.00 and the company simply replaced it with a new one, and they did not want the damaged table returned. There in lies the difference in companies making a quality product and wanting to satisfy their customers. Might I add, the table was manufactured here in the USA.
