Lycamobile customer service is not helpful.First time customer- Customer service-Unwillingness to listen to my issues as a first time user . They put me on hold for 30 minutes ask me what they can help me but not willing to listen then transfer me to another department and hold again for another 30 minutes but unable resolve issues.All I want is to get my old cell number because this is my emergency number with my kids and school etc.to transfer to Lyca mobile. It seem like they don't know what their doing. I'm not going through this hassle again.They advised me to get another cell phone and go to 711 to buy another Lyca sim card which I did to find out it's not working and then go back to 711 tell them it's not working and buy another simcard. It's not worth it.
customer service is rude and policy I bad
Mobile app misleading information caused me to recharge $29 and got only 1GB instead of 4GB.
When I called to customer service, they said they will update the interface but rejected to do any favor. The mistake is because of their wrong information. More over they said, as per the policy we can't do anything.
Very rude and bad policies.

transferring of old number to my new sim
hello please i have been using lycamobile for 2 years now. but i have been using the chip for internet purposes a couple of months now. i top up every month. unfortunately i lost my sim card. i bought a new sim card and called customer services that i want my old number to be transferred to my new sim. I was told the old number cannot be transferred because i haven't made a call for the last 90 days meanwhile i top up everymonth.
please i need the old number back. as i have got important things connected to that sim.

This company is a fraud. They allure to switch by giving 20gb data and unlimited national and international calls valid for 28 days. Once 28 days completed you can auto renew your bundle but you can auto top up with a set amount. The standard phone call rates kicks in and they won't tell the rates and keeps on skinning you.

I bought and activated the bundle where I should have 10 GB data transmission in my mobile, yet I have NO INTERNET in my phone. The internet I need very much to use the needed App for my work, yet it does not work !
I asked you also for cancelling of my first transaction that was wrong. I believe right after I bought the new Lycamobile Sim Card in the shop and try to top up the mobile for the first time I am the new customer, unfortunately, only because I just bought the Sim Card I was not qualified to the New Customers Only bundle offers yet, and by fault I bought the wrong bundle, and had to make the purchase for the second time. That is why I asked you for the cancellation of the first purchase of the bundle that I cannot use in my mobile.
I wait for your answer via mobile or via email, it's quite an annoying that as the person who made the purchase of a new bundle I cannot even call the Customer Service, because you need some 0.09 p in my account to correct the poor work of the service (and I have to top up with a 5 GBP at least to make the call, because the new Lycamobile bundle I bought does not serve the call to the Customer Service, what looks like a poor quality system, especially when your service fails), where I cannot even use the internet and the 10 GB data I bought.
Today I needed the internet much for my work and travelling...
I regret I chose the Lycamobile, but I have to hold onto it, because I should not change my mobile number now (unless transfer the number) nor want to lose the money I paid.
I am deeply frustrated with the way it works, I traveled in 30 countries, needing to activate the phone numbers with a different network providers, I did not know that a mobile service can work so bad, as I have it now, but still hope these problems will be solved...

I gave up on Lycamobile, I can deal with an ignorant and silly people for a while, but I cannot deal with them all the time. The Lycamobile Customer Service I paid for (they charge for the calls) did not help me at all, playing a fools, telling me: "I cannot help you, so I will connect you with a manager (etc)" and then reconnecting me, putting me out on a line when no hell was moaning or groaning, no single man picked up. DISASTER not a Customer Service, I regret wasting my money for them. I no longer use Lycamobile service, because of their ignorant Customer Service charging me for no support and no help at all.

poor network connectivity and unable to access 4g data
I opted for Lyca SIM with number +[protected] in India and wanted to use the same during my travel to USA between Mar 15-25, 2018.
However, after landing in USA realized that there was no data connectivity but was able to make calls. From the second day onwards, even the call connectivity became poor. Customer care center gave the settings, which did not improve the situation. Contacting Sai Krishna, the customer care executive, Bangalore, India was of no use. After paying INR 3000 +, I could not use the sim for calls nor for data. Customer care said that my handset must be old, though I explained to them that on the same handset my airtel sim was working perfectly fine.
1. I got ZERO value for money
2. Reaching the customer care over the automated system takes 5-7 minutes. extremely frustrating when you are on a tight business trip overseas.
3. Customer care executives are pathetic- do not have courtesy while speaking with customers nor have the technical knowledge to resolve the issue.
I hope that this complaint reached the authorities who can do something about the issue, rather than repeating the same messages as per the protocol !

What a slapdash attitude they give.
I recently had some issues with my sim-card activation. Instead of doing their job properly they were mean and ignorant to me, didn't carefully listen to me because they asked stupid kuestions (if they listened to me, they wouldn't ask). They probably realized they couldn't help me they just hung up on me. I called again, but no one had picked up. That's about it. Going to switch to a different service where I will be more appreciated.
service deactivated without information and very poor (zero) customer service
I have been using the lycamobile sim card in Belgium for 4 months since 07/17 but suddenly from 26/10/17 it stopped working and SIM card not registering on Lycamobile network.
When I tried contacting their customer service I only hear the music from IVRS and nowhere in the indefinite queue. I also had sent tons of emails to "[protected]@lycamobile.be" but seems like it is all going to trash that they never respond or acknowledge to any of those emails. Their customer service is very disgusting and wondering how they were allowed to enter into the telecom service industry in europe which is known for its friendly customer service.
stole my money
Lycamobile would not refund my £100 they took from my bank account. I purchased a sim card on line and they imposed automatic renewal on my account. I never checked that button as I did not intend to be their customer for long. I binned the sim card a month after. When I contacted customer service for a refund they said it is my fault even though they could see the card was never active for more than a month and they kept charging me for 4 months.

I requested to port my no. from Tesco to Lyca on 9th Sep. Now i am regretting. It is not been transferred and now they saying it is transferred to some another number. So i asked them to correct it & transferred to the SIM i have. I spoke to customer care couple of times & they escalated this thrice but still no luck and the experience with customer care is horrible, pathetic. I have sent multiple emails to [protected]@lycamobile.ie but still no response at all.
Just Port my number to the RIGHT sim i have.
In day time there is long waiting to get the customer care guy to talk. & they close @ 6. it is really frustrating. even the customer care guy was not good in communication either i talked by now.

I want to transfer my optus number to lycamobile but i was unable to do online registration of my new lycamobile sim as my id proof (indian passport)has no 60 points.i called to costumer service many times to help me.everytime different person pic the phone and has different opinion as;- send us email, we can't use email, put ur sim on 1st port, get number and call but none of them help me to transfer my number..i was waiting for more than 1 week to transfer my number. but now i think i have to continue with my same provider as they are very helpful not like lycamobile..

I made a big mistake in my life. I have used lyca mobile past one year in USA. I bought a brand new universal cellphone (price 697.10$) without any contract with any network provider. After bought this iPhone I am putting my lyca sim.

Your lyca mobile blocking my iphone carrier information. Last week Tuesday I have done my portability to change my sim other network provider. If I put other network work provider sim I am unable to use my iPhone. I got the error is SIM not supported. Your carrier information blocked network provider.
Last Sunday I went apple store they clearly gave the report search with my IMEI number. They told lycamobile blocked my carrier information.
I have changed my sim portability last Tuesday evening until now I am not able to use my mobile.
Past one week Daily minimum I spent 3 hours with lyca mobile customer support. Still I won't get any solution. Really I am worried. Lyca custoemr service people asking all questions (including my IMEI number) finally transfer call to back office team then simply cut the call.
unauthorized deduction via my paypal account

I am writing to register my utmost displeasure with Lycamobile Ireland for the authorized deduction of 15 Euros made on the 3rd of June via my PayPal account.
I never agreed to any renewal plan and find this deduction unacceptable. This is unprofessional and an unlawful action and I want an immediate refund or I shall press charges.

deduct my all minutes without any reason
I have been using Lyca talk since 2 years. I recharged Lyca for 30 dollars. I didn't make any calls. Next day, i found i have zero minutes. I called them and explained and one of their representative escalated this ticket to their technical support and it has been a week now and they keep on saying it is with our technical support and they are working on it. Every time as they asked me to call back they are saying we didn't get any update from our technical team. I don't understand what the ### they and their technical doing. Very cheap service. Today, i asked him to transfer my call to his manager and he said he is busy right now. He will give you call back. I didn't receive any call from manger and i called back and Mital Kumar is saying my manager tried to call you but line went blank. They are cheaters. All in all, they don't want to refund my minutes either money. Very disappointed. Very cheap service. Not responsible at all. You guides should close your company. Frauds.
unauthorised deductions from credit card
Recently, I found that Lyca mobile was making unauthorised deductions from bank account of my daughter - renewing a bundle, though autofill option was never filled. When I complained (on 6th December), there was no reply for a long time. Fed-up, we complaint to the bank who will be recovering the money deducted by Lyca, and advised us to change the debit card so that Lyca may not be able to make any further deduction. Then, after several days, on 20th December 2016, I received a mail from Lyca asking for a copy of bank statement and an image of the credit card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit card number. By this time, I was on vacation and on 2nd January 2017 provided the information, giving only last four digit of the credit card number. As company is indulging in unethical practice, amounting to fraud, I can not trust them to give full information about the card. So far, no reply from them.
Next, I found that they repeated the unauthorized deduction (for a bundle, for which there was no autofill option given) on my another Lyca number. Since bundle was bought first time using my wife's debit card, deduction was made using her card. I complained on 2nd January and there was no reply. I sent a reminder on 5th January with warning that I am going to complain to the bank.Finally they they replied that bundles are automatically renewed after 30 days, though it is not evident when you buy a bundle. They told me to dial *190# and follow the instructions on the screen to cancel the automatic renewal of the bundle. But when I tried that a tab popped up for Autorenewal Option. It clearly indicated, there was no autorenewal but they were still deducting. I wrote to them again asking for cancellation of autorenewal, but no reply. Then on 13th January, they again deducted money despite all this communication with them.
It happened in case of two sims with me. In one case I complained to the bank and credit card had to be changed. In the second I am shifting from Lycamobile to another company but not sure this con company may still deduct money and in this case also credit card may have to be changed. I am complaining to bank and VISA also. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

recieved a call from an international number claiming that they are calling from lyca mobile in London. The caller stated that my lyca number had won a cash prize. I made him aware that it was a scam and that is when he started to become abusive and saying inappropriate things. I rang lyca mobile customer service and they are saying that they will do nothing about it . I will take this further.

Awful company! I've tried contacting them for months on three of their CS email addresses ...no answer.. they simply ignore them . The sim didn't work outside the country. I switched opeerarors an dwant my credit back. There is no answer from them . Countless emails, phone calls ...wasted time and not being able to use my phone number. I have been a lycamobile customer for over a year and sence day one there net work has been a problem I've had to call them a lot becouse the internet keeps stopping on my phone I have a UK bundle on my phone that normally lasts me the month how ever the internet run out so I tried to purchess more but couldint so I called Luca they put a £5 internet bundle on my phone and seid it would last till my bundle run out on the 11th of November 15 how ever they have taken £50 in the past week the company are a rip off I'm changing my network I will be taking my number else were as there are better deals out there much better than Lycamobile I tried 3 for a tilttle while they are great and have amazing deals also you can contact them any time you can not get hold of lycamobile after 8pm there company is rubbish like there network and there bundles anyone thinking of changing to lycamobile do yourself a big favore and DONT
