Dear sir
I have a mahindra gio compact cab No. MP48 C2722. I bought it from Narmada Motors Betul (Sub Dealer) Narmada Motors Hoshangabad, MP. (Main Dealer) on 6th of Oct. 2011.
I am facing following problem.
1. I haven't got RC Book till now.
2. I had lost the service book of my vehicle. so I could not submit the First, second and Third service coupon at time of these service. However all the service were done at the authoraized mahindra service center. I had reported to the dealer about and asked for a duplicate service book. But they had denied saying that the company doesn't provide a duplicate one.I had also reported to the police station and now I have recovered my service book and all other documents from the police station. But the dealer is not agree to accept the service book. He says that the book in not valid and so the vehicle is not under warranty.
3. On [protected] the vehicle had a problem in its engine. Its oil pump was not working. When I reported this problem to the dealer I was told the expenses of about Rs. 20000 to 25000. The vehicle has run only 13300 KM all this time and should be under warranty as the company provide a warranty of one full year. But for this I put many argument before them. Finally they agreed to repair my vehicle. At time of leaving the vehicle at the service center I was told that they will repair it with in 3-4 days. But today till 09/11/2012 after 40 days they haven't repaired my vehicle.
4. They didn't give me any receipt of the vehicle at the time I handed over them the vehicle. They said that the job card and are receipt are issued from Hoshangabad showroom which is main showroom. It means that I have no proof of when I left the vehicle at the service center.I fear if they say that I haven't left any vehicle at the service center.
5. They wanted to bother me by delaying in repairing the vehicle. As they were Intentionally delaying in repairing. I warned them to claim for the loss. They continued having fun of me. All these 42 days have suffered a big loss. Don't I deserve a compensation for this loss?
6. My vehicle has been registered on 28 th of August 2012 about 11 month after I purchased It.
7. At the time of purchasing I was told the price of the vehicle Rs 196000. I paid Rs 233180 in all out of which they charged Rs 198500 as the price of vehicle and rest of the amount (Rs 34680) was charged for Insurance and tax.
8. They never gave me the papers of insurance. I was told that these papers were directly sent to the finance company( Cholamandalam Finance Co). I could have never known the amount of premium insurance if the insurance company had not mailed me the paper of insurance. the actual amount of insurance premium was only Rs 12390.
9. On 28-08-2012 after about 11 months when my vehicle was registered at RTO Betul, I could know that the amount of Tax was only Rs13650. Then only I could realized that they had taken Rs 11131 extra([protected]-13650=11131) from me. When I asked them to return my extra money . They are not willing to return it to me. I haven't got it back till now. I don't know what to do?
10. I have contacted more than 50 times to Mahindra customer care Number [protected] but of no use.

Bad service
I bought a brand new mahindra suv500, from the honda/mahindra branch in rustenburg. they are linked as far as i know, the SUV is 2 weeks old, brand new. and already i have had troubles, first the brakes where metal to metal, had the car taken in and 2 days later the cv-joint snapped! apart from that when i got my car it has a scratch on. how can mahindra allow this to happen? i wil be taking legal action as this has not been resolved and they have failed to assist me to thus far. I wil not tolerate this!

my vehicle logan dlsx(mh-15 -ct 0296 date of purchase 2 nd of september 2010, rattling noise in door trim for 500 kms and then severe concern of carpet getting wet due to ac drain leakage at just 3000 kms of use and i have to leave the vehicle to mahindra dealer at nasik for 2 complete working days .dea;er has how ever attended my complaint but i am highly dissatisfied with the quality of vehicle which gives a feeling that i have made a wrong decision about buying a mahindra vehicle .
I had brought a new mahindra vehicle in 2012 . Its been 7 months now . I brought it for commercial use i.e.., cab . So now you can better understand how heavily i depend on my vehicle in my daily life.
From the very beginning i faced problem with it . Sometimes suddenly break become loose (been in critical situation on road because of this), very very poor pick up performance after driving the cab to a distance, Mileage only god knows the number . very undependable.
Besides all this issues my patience been always checked at service center stating no problem (then what i am facing is that junk ). Never attended or tried to at least listen to my problem. My car in this 7 month more that 1.5 months it was in service center .
My financial situation completely worsen due to this worst and defective vehicle.
I am in a position of deserted.
I kindly request mahindra and mahindra people to please contact me if you think you are not CHEATED me and if you feel that you make a fair business ad not just cheat people like who believe in you.
I be glad some can guide me with your suggestion of how to handle it. I think I should to react to ask for my RIGHT. How to bring it notice of concern person of mahindra. or even legal procedure to get my right.

My vehicle is having an alternator problem from last month and Patwa Auto. told to change part of the car so I deposited Rs. 10000/- in advance for repairing part on 19-04-2012 at Patwa Auto.(p) ltd. The part was received by Patwa Auto on date 1-5-2012 and so they called me. I sent my car for changing and repairing of part at 02-05-2012 till date 07-05-2102. The car was not repaired and they have not given me any proper answer about it. So please take action against your dealer and release my car.

I had an accident in my Mahindra Logan, on 13 dec 2010, on Kanpur-Etahwah highway, I went to V C motors, Kanpur for its repair. It took them 3 months for them to make the parts available and finally call me all the way from Chandigarh just to my surprise that, its engine was make awkward noises, rear view mirror broken, almost no cleaning done in 3 month, door locks wrecked, and above all there was nothing called pick up in that car. After showing the V C motors the situation they kept the car again and took another 2 months for repair. Finally I got my car with a bill of 2, 40, 000 and the insurance company, i.e. oriental insurance claimed that the company did car outing the first time and did not inform the insurance company because of which they can't give claim for more than 40, 000(haven't received yet, its just a estimated figure and will for sure be less than this). After the whole payment I took my car, just to realise after few weeks, when i went for service in Jaipur (my home town) that, 1. the Chasis of the car ( which was the major area of damage in the accident) hasn't been changed and is just repaired somehow because of which it is still somewhat bend and there can be no wheel alignment done. 2. Car gear pipes and other pipes are been held by M-seal and has not been changed, 3. brake pads are rotten (which was changed as in the accident tyre and the wheel was damaged.
Its disgusting and disgraceful to be attached to mahindra and mahindra-services in particular, other than a consumer case complaint again both the companies, now I am starting a drive to educate people I know and work with, and people in general about the Mahindra fraud going on, through its representative service comapnies.

Worst Service by India Garage, White Field
Please be careful while purchasing Mahindra vehicles in Bangalore, especially with India Garage. While purchasing the vehicle, they gave enough pains in delivering the vehicle. No one lifts the phone and you need to physically go and beg to get your new vehicle. This is one side of the stofy, once its due to service, you true pains start, specifically when its under the so called "free services". They kept the vehicle for 2 days (3rd Oct and 4th Oct 2012) and just changed the engine oil and other stuff (which are chargeable). They promised me to deliver the vehicle by 2 pm on 4th Oct 2012, but no phone call to me. Right from 2 pm to 8.30 pm, I was calling all the possible numbers and no one had the courtesy to tell me whether they'll deliver the vehicle or not. They took the complaints I had, but nothing were attended nor the Service Advisor had a answer to atleast tell me why they failed, except the default answer "free service". India Garage is still suriving as the Mahindra consumers dont have choice like Maruti, where in you get enough service centers.

Service plan
I traded a Mahindra Scorpio in on a new Mahindra mHawk 2012 model on 28/07/2012. When I bought this vehicle I was told that even though I was going to Zimbabwe I would not have any problems with services to be done ( service plan )
When I took my vehicle to the Mahindra dealers in Harare for the first service ( 5000km. ) I was told that they do not have service plans and that I will have to pay for the service. I contacted the Mahindra dealers in Benoni where I bought the new vehicle and they suggested that I speak to Mahindra South - Africa to get to a solution.
Mahindra in Harare offered to do the service if the parts are send to them and they could claim the labour, either from Benoni Mahindra or Mahindra South-Africa.
The milage on the vehicle is 4300km. and to drive to S-A. will cost a fortune. I would not like to forfeit my warranty.
Please see if this problem can be resolved.

I am really irritated by the service of TVS Iyengar and Sons, Kottayam & Pathanamthitta service centre, because not a single parts for my car is available in the showroom.
I had purchased my car in 2011 and since then I am not at all happy with the service provided by TVS. Whenever I visit the showroom there will be loads of customers who will be there for complaint and there are customers whose car might be withheld in the showroom for a weeks time just for the replacement of a small nail even. I see fights whenever I visit the showroom.
I dont know why TVS Iyengar and sons are not purchasing enough spare parts for their customers? I dont know whether they are gonna survive in the market for a long time if they continue like their service like this.
I wish nobody should purchase vehicles from TVS Iyengar showroom.
I would definitly wait for a response from the responsible people from Mahindra/TVS Iyengar and Sons so that my problems get solved.

Right, Mahinda Xylo (or any other model) parts are not available in open market if a customer want to buy and change himself. Normally we like to buy anything from India, because of it's after service availability (spare parts or service). But in Mahindra's case I think, they are very monopolistic to allow it's dealers to cut throat service charges or other spare parts charges to enjoy. So I think my opinion to normal customers it's better to buy any other vehicle rather than Mahindra, if you want to enjoy your vehicle's life long comfort without headache.
Chassis Breaking
I have purchase a new mahindra scorpio vlx m HAWK with microhybrid facility on [protected] from Bikaner Motors PVT.LTD Bikaner Rajasthan .
our scorpio has been in the period of extra guaranteed . the chassis of this scorpio has been breaked by a month & no change has been done in the follopwing chassis by the dealers .
i have requested many times for this chassis change to the dealers but dealer has denied this, "that it is not available" .
so please urgently remove the disfunctional chassis & provide the new one .
otherwise i will take further steps to consumer court for following complain.

THE I ADDED WATER AFTER NEXT DAY WHEN I WENT TO WORK SHOP FOR CHECKING AND EXPLAINED THE COMPLAINT. BUT THEY SIMPLY SAID NO PROBLEM IS THERE, NOTHING WILL HAPPENED YOU RUN THE VEHICLE. THEY DON'T CHECKED AND SEND ME OUT BY TELLING SOME STORIES. AFTER THAT AGAIN AND INFORMED THEM ABOUT ENGINE OVER HEATING. THEN THY CHECKED AND FOUND RADIATOR LEAK DUE TO SOME MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THEN THEY REPAIRED THE RADIATOR AND FIXED IT, AFTER THAT THEY SAID WE WILL PLACE THE ORDER FOR RADIATOR AND WE WILL REPLACE THE RADIATOR IN WARRANTY AFTER GETTING THE STOCK. LIKE SO THE SENT ME OUT AND UP TO TODAY THEY WONT REPLACED THE RADIATOR . THAT IS THE SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAHINDRA DEALER IN KURNOOL . PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

My self Dr. Sanket J. Suthar (M.S) have booked new mahindra xuv 500 W8 model with Punjab Automobiles, Ahmedabad, gujarat, india on 13-06-2012. Cheque Receipt No: 1924, Cheque No: 000003 from Bank of Baroda of Rs. 40, 000/- cleared on 15-06-2012. Then on 13th July 2012 i have got the message from the showroom personal Mr. Himmat Zala (Punjab Automobiles) that please make the payment of your xuv 500 for as soon as possible to get the early delivery. I saved the message. so when i contact them, they replied that make the payment and you will get the delivery within 7 days. Previously i had a Honda City ivtec car i want to buy back the car, also i have to arrange for the loan. so, i was constantly in contact with the officials. i have sold my car instantly and when i get back to them they replied now you have to wait for 1 month. I complaint regarding this in company. On the next day i had a call from the showroom informing me that your tentative date of delivery is 25th December 2012, they told that the message was by mistake. if it was a mistake then why you people do'nt inform me earlier when i get back to them regarding my old car buy back and loan procedure. I have sold my old car and now they are telling you will get the delivery after 5 months. I have 3000 km run every month. Now what should i do without the car? rent a car? who is going to pay? rent a car would cost to me [protected]/ every month. I think they sold the car which was arrived from the company by my name for the shake of black money. so, i feel helpless. kindly help me regarding this.

My name is Gaurav D. Baravkar a customer for your Scorpio Model which was purchased in November 2011. Since, after 6 to 7 months their is a crack in both the headlamp cover by default. Also, in the braking system i.e. after applying the brake the brake liver and the entire vehicle gets vibrated. I showed this problem to the showroom at Deccan Pune "Sahaydri Motors" but they are list bothered. As my vehicle is under warranty period hardly covered a distance of 15, 000 kms. wants the problem to be solved.

Complaint : For Car repair (Scorpio)
We handed over a car (Scorpio) at above mentioned showroom as on 11.06.2012 (timing : 12:23 pm) as we were facing a problem i.e. Car Heat problem
They generate a bill of Rs. 8378 for the accessories used including water pump. Delivery date was 13 June 2012.
However, on the date of delivery i.e. 13 June 2012, Mr. Tarun explained that the respective parts were not available and work is still under progress.
Car was actually delivered on 15 June 2012 after road test of 25 – 30 Km. They mentioned that the car is perfectly all right.
We noticed that, our music system (Buffer - Company Name JBL) was missing from the car. In addition to that another plate to protect the engine was also missing from the car.
We explained the same to Manager Divya Chawdhary. She committed to revert back within an hour. After an hour we got a call from Service advisor - Mr. Tarun.
Initially he denied that there was no Music systems in the car. Later on, after 15 minutes he agreed on same (that yes music system was there) . He replied that he will call back again and will solve the problem. However no revert received from there side till date with respect to music system.
Then on 17 June 2012, we faced the same problem in our car again at the Delhi Hapur Road. Had called at that point itself. Divya told me to get in touch with nearest showroom.
We dint het any help and we somehow managed to come back home with lots of difficulties.
Further, as on 18 June 2012, we again described the same problem at the showroom and handed over the car for resolution of same problem. They prepared a Job card mentioning estimated delivery date 19 June 2012.
Divya called on 19.06.2012 and explained that that there is problem with “Engine Gas Kit” which needs replacement with estimated charges inclusive of labour charges i.e. Rs. 12000. They further changed the delivery commitment to 21.06.2012.
We called on 22.06.2012 morning, and got a reply that we are done with the work and just checking injector.
At evening we got a reply from them that “Car is perfectly fine and will hand over the car to next day morning after road test”.
Today evening i.e. 23.06.2012, we called again and enquired about our car.
Initially no body was picking up the phone. After lot of tries they picked up and replied that the injector is still not fine and required extra expenses to incur.
Kindly look into the matter asap so that the matter get resolved at the earliest. We are facing lot of problem due to this and incurring unnecessary extra overheads due to this.

Poor breakdown service and stupid customer care guys
Today is the fourth day since I got the delivery of my mahindra Scorpio LX TN-22-CS-1675 from Zulaikha motors, chennai. Those bozos don't know anything else but say "No" to everything you ask.
The car wouldnt start and the number to reach Mahindra customer car which is [protected] landed up saying the reps are busy all the time.
13th June 2012, 7:30 pm -- The scorpio wouldnt start. All the lights were turning on but the vehicle wouldnt start.
I was given another number by the dealer service advisor [protected] which added to my excrutiating pain in the ###, was for Xylo and Xuv 500.
The dealer had his own breakdown service bozos who dont even bother to ask what went wrong but just say "Sir, Tow the vehicle to the service workshop in Ambattur". The cost for towing is INR 2000 from thiruvottriyur.
So, with no other option available I had to wait till the next morning 6:30 am for someone in the dealer office to assist if I dont go with the towing option.
7:35 pm -- Tried calling the dealer sales guy.. no response..
7:45 pm -- Called the delivery guy at Zulaikha motors (Solomon). He gave me the wrong customer care number.
8:45 pm -- with no success to any of the 1800 -- numbers for over an hour. called solomon again to get any other higher management contact details
9:00 pm -- Solomon gave the numbers of krishna kumar and Kesavan and said not to reveal his name if asked from whom I got their numbers(###).. amongst which krishna kumar informed that will come only the next morning as all the equipment were kept in the workshop.
9:15 pm -- I had a good for nothing conversation with Kesavan and sekar from Zulaikha motors who said Tow the vehicle to Ambattur.
10:00 to 11:30 pm -- Calls back and forth with Towing guys, sekar, krishna kumar.. all in vain.
11:30 pm -- With no other options offered and I being at the peak of embarrassment.
12:20 pm -- I returned home to get some sleep .. locked the vehicle and took out the audio player.
2 am -- couldnt sleep due to the fear of theft in thiruvottriyur and my car left in the road..
2:20 am -- i rushed to the spot to find the vehicle still parked outside the captain mahal in thiruvottriyur high road.
2:30 am -- Called at number [protected] and finally someone picked. After shouting at them mercilessly they gave me the number of
Shankar Swaminathan (GM, Mahindra customer care). I was offered a support in an hour.
2:45 am -- 3:30 am -- I poured out my agony and explained the situation to Shankar who promised an action asap.
3:50 am -- conference call with india garage breakdown service guys Senthil and Sawaria.
5:11 am -- Two service breakdown guys in a red scorpio reached the spot and started checking the vehicle.
5:30 am -- we push started the vehicle and decided to drive down to Guindy India Garage workshop.
7:00 am -- Reached Guindy Mahindra dealer workshop.
7:25 am -- Inspection done and a checklist sheet was signed and given to me.
8:30 am -- I reached home and dozed off in bed.
12:30 am -- Woke up to find the vehicle was still sitting there with no progress. Karthikeyan from India Garage was responsible and he was mentioning that they could not find the fault yet.
1:20 pm 14th June 2012 -- no response yet as I post this.
My questions :
1. Why no one picked up the call for over 5 hours for Scorpio lx customer support at [protected].After I shouted at the guy in [protected] asking why no one picked my call in scorpio support, it seems the guy woke the scorpio support guy.
2. Zulaikha motors -- are they dealers or cheaters or rude gangsters.
3. I now have doubts about the PDI checks conducted by Zulaikha motors.
4. Why should I pay 2000 rupees when the vehicle broke down 4 days from delivery.
5. I waited for almost 8 hours to have someone help me.
6. Bad mahindra customer support guys. They dont understand english. Your support guys at Mumbai and gurgoan do not understand english.
Even a 2nd standard kid can understand me. But your service reps repeat the same ### all the time.. " we will provide better help and I will transfer you to higher official"
But hell it always reached to another service rep guy.
7. I lost my sleep for a day, I was made to wait. No responsible answer and everybody in Mahindra slept.
My question to Mr. Mahindra :
1. Why do you keep such people in your service support. Revise dealer policy or cancel dealer for such irresponsible answers and delays.
2. I will be marketing for anti-mahindra going forward if you dont deal this properly.
3. How are you going to compensate my pain, suffering through the night.

Poor Service
I regret to inform you that I Bought a Mahindra Xylo ( E8) on 09th August on 2010 from Industrial And Farm Equipment, Guwahati, Assam a Dealer of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd ( Registration Number-AS-01-AP-9297) and Not getting Proper after sale service from their dealer Ramnarayan Shiwprasad at Jorhat, Assam. It is considered to be ZERO if you scale the level of customers satisfaction. After my 3rd servicing at the said dealership in December, 2011 my vehicle had innumerable starting problems for which I had to travel 140 odd kilometers for every visit. Being medical professional you just imagine how difficult it is to spare valuable time as well as money. Moreover, When I submitted the vehicle for a post accident repairing on 20th February 2012 they took more than two months to repair it. Unfortunately, I had to resubmit my vehicle on 10th May, 2012 for incomplete repair such as Starting problem, inbuilt music system is completely out of order, non functioning AC, lots of body sound, poor quality painting etc. The saddest part of the story is they don't have the courtesy to receive my call.
I look forward to your help and suggestion in this matter.

sir i have given my xylo to your dealer sterling motors faridabad on 10th oct in accidental condition on 11th oct surveyour of icici lomabard have visited and inspected the vechicle but till date they have not done anything to my vechicle and they have commited to deliver 0n 15th this is not the way your dealer is treating customer this is poor service and impacting wrong on customer mind they are behaving like an illetrate person and do not listening to ours if you can do something to solve this otherwise i will go to some other legal place for this

Very Very Irresponsible staff
My name is Krishnakumar and an owner of Mahindra Verito D2.. I bought this vehicle in jan 2012.. During the 10000kms
free service (dated 20/04/2012) I asked the service officials to change my clutch cable because it was very tight and almost damaged.. But the staff told me that it is out of stock.. After a week's time (02/05/2012) when i tried getting in touch with the spare parts division, the staff is so irresponsible that i had to keep on holding the call for few minutes for so 4-5 times for 2 days... The staff in service division are very very irresponsible.. I request you to take immediate action regarding this case which affects the reputation of your company..

Delayed repair - Six Long Months
Dear Sir,
Mahindra First choice in Industrial Estate Guindy has taken around six months to repair my Car the Mahindra Logan TN 49 AB 5559,
the agony is that inspite of car being taken for service on the 30th Oct 2011 is still pending delivery as of 22 April 2012 .
i have went through grave mental agony of having to keep reminding them for early repair with futile developments, Consumer complain in mahindra doesnt seem to work !
to add to the misery is the way the insurance claim was handled .
for all those who are thinking of opting for Mahindra First choice, i would suggest dont even keep it as a last choice!
