Today 25 Nov I with my son go to Johor Premium Outlet Maybank apply open the new account for my son
But the on duty executive (male) refused my apply and not qualify to open acct and ask so many questions
Why u want open new acct
My son age, I shown the identity card 18 year old
He questions again where my son study
Any Maybank compulsory request school recommended letter any show him the students pass .If this requires documents completed he will entertain
I told him my son age already 18 year old
Further more came along with parent why cannot and not qualify to open the new acct.
How about for those without study and age 18 years old how Maybank justy he or she qualify to open new acct
The man smile and told me this is rule

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking poor service, late respond & bad customer service

I went to Maybank Pasir Puteh Branch, Ipoh last week dated 16 Nov 2016 to asked about my case to the branch and its involving to my late husband case. (Insolvency case)
I open Maybank account for work purpose with a letter from Insolvency Department on July or August ( Cant exactly remember)without an ATM Card. As usual there were a lot people queing. I waited for 10 minutes and I was directed to one of the counter ( Counter 7) to a guy customer service officer (Leonard) . Next came my turn and waited for about 10 minutes again for him to check for my application of my ATM Card for my Maybank Account. After 5 minutes, he came back to me and directed me to another female officer (Suzanne)to ask about my case. The female officers asked me a copy of the letter from Insolvency and I explained I have to go back and check, whilst a copy of the letter has given to the branch to open my saving account. They instructed me to withdraw money every month from my salary at the home branch using my pass book which they provide me and which is at first I am ok with it, until this month on 5th Nov (Saturday) my son was admitted to the hospital and I need cash to get him admitted and it was so messy and hassle due to I dont have an ATM card to withdraw cash and have to wait till Monday 07 Nov 2016 to go to the home branch to withdraw my money using my pass book.

I did went again to Insolvency Depart (16 Nov) and ask for a clarification about the ATM card (is it been stricted to me) and the department mentioned that there is no restriction on my case of using the ATM Card. I drove again to the Pasir Puteh Branch Ipoh and mentioned the same thing to the female officer(Suzanne). She mentioned need to check with HQ and will call me back to clarify on the matters. But what makes me upsad that till today, no one even called me and explained about why I cannot have an ATM Card.

My loans, my ASB always with Maybank Pasir Puteh Branch but since the officers is so rude, no respond and not willing to help me with the clarification of the case. I should think twice of this Branch.
Maybank is my trusted bank since then but due to the officer keep pushing me here and there while i am in the bank without any solutions, it show unprofessional staff that Maybank hired.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking unethical behaviour

To whom it may concern,

I just would like to cut short about the case of my husband. He is Maybank credit card holder for more than 10 years but only few months back because of the downfalls in his business, he was late for some payment but instead his outstanding balance is just less than 10K. From that time onward, there were few so called 'officer' to attend to his parents house and called non stop to collect payment like gangster, even walked in to his parents house while he was not at home. That's too much! When he called maybank they only told the case was handling by the collection company, which mean gangster company? or? but even there is no more outstanding (he cleared the outstanding in one shot), but he was refused to redeem his rewards points throughout all this year? he called to Maybank hotline but just asked him talk to the collection company but that is gangster and not a proper organisation at all, they talked and even threatening him for many times. I got him to tell them he will definitely report to the police if they continue by threatening him. He definitely never wanted to use maybank credit card anymore but all the points must be redeemed, there is no way to just obsolete in such a unfair way to their consumer. I wish there will be someone from relevant department can assist further. This is a bad image for Maybank and I believe he is not the only one who had this horrible experience.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking my account has been blocked

Out of sudden, my maybank atm card got deactivated for no reasons at all, and without prior notice. Thus, I am not able to make any withdrawal at the atm. This has been happening for 2 weeks already.

And since I work on weekdays and maybank does not open on weekends, so I can't make a direct complaint at any of their branches. Therefore, I called their customer service to find out what is happening.

Unfortunately, nobody answered my call. Maybank mentioned that their customer service is 24 hours a day, including of public holidays. But I had called up 4 times. I waited for 5 minutes each for the first two calls, and 10 minutes each for the last two calls before hanging up. That's a total of 30 minutes wasted!

I called maybank jln klang lama where my car loan home branch, mr hadi said that he send notice yesterday to my saving account home branch medan tuanku to activate my account. But when I checked today still no active. I call customer service but cant do anything. Ive no cash with me at all!. But theres nothing ur cust service can do?

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking poor service in maybank branch

I went to Maybank branch in Ayer Keroh, Melaka to open a savings account and to apply for an ATM card. However, the officer told me the application for the opening of savings account has closed for today as there are too many people were going to open a savings account. That was ridiculous. You should provide service to customers instead of chasing them away.

Complaint about the poor MBB Merchant Card Service. My company signed up a Maybank Merchant Card Service on 25-July-2016 and started to use the MBB credit card service in Aug 2016. Unfortunately all the transactions related to the MyDebit Cards not able to clear since Aug 2016 up to today. Many times complaint raised via emailed to the Merchant Relationship Manager (Ms Natasha M Nor) but she still failed to resolve this issue although I personally called her up so many times to speed up the clearance. This is the 1st bank that i encounter this kind of problems. Almost 4 months the MyDebit cards transactions still not clear to my company bank. Very disappointed with the MBB Merchant Card Service. I hope the related department can quickly look into my company issue urgently.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking inefficient customer service function

My credit card was blocked two months ago when I was making a purchase of air ticket at Airasia.com. Reason being, I clicked "Resend TAC code" as I did not receive the first TAC code after waited for more than 5 minutes. However, I received the first TAC code after clicking "Resend TAC", and the same thing repeated for 3 times and my visa credit card got blocked for that reason due to incorrect TAC code being entered for more than 3 times.

Tried calling to MBB customer service function [protected]) but I was being put on hold for more than 10 minutes. I was fed up and hung up the call. Two weeks later, I rang the customer service function for the second time, finally I got to speak to the customer service representative. After sharing the incident with the representative, she helped me to unblock my credit card and told me that I could use it immediately. Of course at that point of time I did not test it out because I did not have any online purchases to be made.

Today, I need to purchase another air ticket again, and substantial time was wasted at the payment stage as I could not complete the purchase because my Visa card was still blocked! Felt absolutely frustrated and rang up the customer service function again. As usual, I had to go through all the administrative steps and had to wait for at least 5 minutes before reaching the representative. The representative who answered the call was not very friendly and he sounded frustrated having to listen to my complaints. After few rounds of checking and verification, I had to wait for 20 minutes before my problem got resolved.

I think Maybank should seriously look into their customer service function since it is one of the reputable banks in Malaysia. To experience this time wasting conversation to resolve a simple issue is highly inefficient. Hope they could really look into this matter.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking bad customer service and rude staff.

Attention to whom this concern, action should get taken against this staff.I supposed to open maybank account for work purpose.As usual there were a lot people queing.Then I was directed to one counter (counter 9). I waited quite long and this was so called express counter. Next came my turn, then i asked the staff why I was directed this counter not the inside one.She replied to me rudely that if you want, I send you inside andopen the account with RM250.I merely asked one question and she's getting angry unreasonbly. The staff name is FARADILLA (Sales Advisor)

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking accounts

Maybank said once we paid into other people account, we cannot call back the money. I was wondering, how can Rohani Mohamed call back the fund and cause the person account she transfered in to be freezed? The person account was not able to login. The call centre told it was the branch that freeze the account but when owner call, the branch said the call centre did. Then she call branch again, Azlina asked to call Intan & Ery back but guess what the Fraud Unit says no such name exist there. I wonder who call her? Only Maybank has authorize to see into other people account and block it. They always use BANK NEGARA as the one who create instruction but actually bank negara only act as advisor. They didnt interfere unless client make complaint to any bank, then they will investigate. I think if bank freeze customer account, maybe bank are using customer freeze money for their own investment. Thats why they cant give back customer money when customer requested to close their account to get back their money. Think about it.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking fraud unit

I am the owner of vista suria enterprise. Last friday, my clerk call me saying that she received a call from maybank call centre - fraud internet banking. She said intan told her that the rm10, 000 entering her account is from hacking cause the owner rohani binti mohamed make complaint that she didnt transfer the money out. I received an order from a philipine saying that they saw corporate gift with one of their business friend. They get the number n they call me directly. They already choose a design. Key chain for rm10, 000 budget. They have a friend in malaysia and she said she will help to pay so that their money will not get lost. On the promised date, they wanted to make the payment, they called me. I was rushing for ppd meeting and to do card replacement later in the evening. I was rushing and lost my purse that contains all atm cards. I already make lost report to block my atm. I forgotten my own account number so I gave the one my clerk just gave me to receive her salary. I told her that money will enter her account and she should transfer immediately to my account vista suria. Now the maybank fraud unit said they didnt allow her to use her account for further investigation. Its weird cause my clerk told me she also received call from unknown no ms ery. They ask her to meet in maybank on certain date. They said dont meet other person in maybank cause not everyone knows. I think my clerk might get into fraud scamm that use inside staff to fraud other people. Maybe maybank officer that do scam or hack n try to put blame on other people.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking customer service

I just received a phone call from your customer service centre. Her name is Azuwa. She promoted a Takaful Plan to me. I was interested with the plan at first. But i need to discuss with my spouse before i commit with the plan. She insisted that i commit to the plan immeadiately. I was suprised she even questioned my action to discuss with my husband first just because the monthly commitment is "JUST" RM69++. Towards the end of our conversation, her voice became louder and she talks fast (angry voice) and disrespectfully she ends the conversation. And this happens during the month of Ramadhan. Somebody please feed this lady with good negotiation skill. As what i can see, being pushy is not one of them. I teach communication skills. Her voice speaks louder than the good plan maybank offers. Please Maybank, instill humanity in your staff..the front liners especially. Because these people represent your company. And I experienced a bad one today.

I would like the above mentions name of staff to be send for further studies on foreign customers personal Atm cards regards communications has breakdown between own staff ...dissapointment sadness angry all had arise cos I'm supposed to received my dbs ATM card back in safe hands but was being destroy by may bank staff while being approach by shahrin Mgr and asst mgr they can simply said your card has been cut off .after I had confirm on dbs and may bank for not to destroy my ATM earlier and both parties had acknowledge it and understand my hard situations here..but matang staff told me simply had been cut into two piece ooh gosh...my heart my mind went crazy after what has been said by the mgr and the asst mgr with a sarcastic face...I really wish the head dptmt could do something to this 3 person asap due to we have to be cleared on customer request and I believed there should has been a time frame to be given to the customer if the customer wasn't report on the mention status then they will be authorise on taking any actions against the card.I was sick, weak and I need to cash out the cash for my medications needs but ( may bank ) has done me more damage.speechless for now...hope the management could look forwards of what i had said and wish something could be done..and will look forwards on press so the world should be aware on how may banks works on foriegns ATM card holders which can access worldwide...

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking simply reject a qualified cheque

i bank in 2 cheque on maybank cheque machine
and both got rejected
and stamped with a label saying that there were no payee name on the check

when i reach maybank to retrieve the rejected cheques,
their staff and i clarified that there is my name on the cheques
so why did they reject my cheque?
while there is no any missing information!

maybank could not do anything
but just an apology

despite maybank's fault,
maybank is doing nothing but just an apology

while issuing a new cheque will take approximately 2 weeks by my company
it really bring me nothing but trouble as i need those money for holiday which is just a week after.
there is nothing from maybank and only apology

i propose a solution of have my account credited with some amount of money first
then deduct back those money after i bank in those cheque 2 weeks later
my cheque amount was double than the amount i asked
and they do know my bank statement
whether its good or bad
my company is public listed
and legal
and that is not a very big sum
what are they afraid of?
but still. its rejected

suppose apology is the best weapon they have there
or what else i could do?

So, pagi ni (13.1.16 jam 0945) saya ke Maybank branch Manjung, Perak untuk membuka account simpanan. Ada seorang kerani perempuan berkata kepada saya "encik tidak bekerja, jadi encik tidak layak untuk memnbuka simpanan di Maybank oleh sebab tersebut". Adakah persoalan saya, adakah saya perlu mempunyai pekerjaan untuk membuka account simpanan di Maybank? setahu saya, tidak ada apa-apa syarat yg khusus untuk itu. atau kerani tersebut mempunyai agenda lain? feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. Saya bukan nak menyalahkan sesiapa akan tetapi saya rasa terkilan dengan layanan kerani berkenaan. Sekian

Ada seorang kerani lelaki erkata kepada saya "puan kena dtg pg untuk membuka akaun baru.Adakah persoalan saya, adakah saya perlu datang pagi untuk buka àkaun baru?saya seorang guru.adakah saya akan dapat timeslip jika saya dtg pagi? Pada 1/6/16 staff di kaunter ramai saya datang untuk mintak confirmation 0f account number untuk pekerja saya, untuk berapa minit saja layanan patut di berikn kepada saya.pukul 12pm sampai pukul 1.00pm.layanan pelanggan sepatutnye di utamakan..buang mase pelanggan untuk ikut time yg ditetapkan oleh pekerje maybank..harap di perbaiki hak pelanggan yg datang utk berurusan dgn cepat...tq

my due for my car auto finance is on 28th. i register for auto billing which means the payment will automatically deducted from my account on every 28th. on end August, I receive a call saying they unable to deduct the payment from my account and was instructed to make a payment via CDM machine. i follow the instruction and make a payment via CDM machine. on 26th September 2015 i realize a sum of money was deducted from my account for the auto finance. and on 28th September 2015 i get another deduction. I call your Kuala Terengganu branch and they inform me that the system did not detect the payment i make by CDM therefore they deduct it again. I was told i can request for a refund. i write an email and was informed it will take one week for the refund to be credited but guess what it takes 2 weeks and its not even full refund! being soo busy and refuse to make a fuss over rm30 missing from the full refund i decided to let it go. but guess what today on 26th November, again! my money was deducted from my bank and i am very sure they will deduct it again on 28th. i dont want to go through all this stupid procedure and get partially refund again. im getting tired of this. this is my email : missmastura.[protected]@gmail.com

I submit my HP loan to purchase used car on 12.7.2016 but until they fail to give proper answer whenever i cal directly to May ban Finance, Pasar Borong Branch, even my first HP loan with May ban Finance and just completed around March 2016. Even I decided closed down my saving account with May ban because of very very poor incompetence service render to me or customer. I really do not how many days the May ban Finance, Pasar Borong Branch to take to let me know it is approved or rejected. Daily keep calling the May ban Finance. May ban personal I m contacted before is Madam Ann and En Syed. Thank You very much, prostration customer

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking unprofessional service

I would like to make a seriously complain about the MAYBANK Hire Purchase service branch at BD Permaisuri. My hire purchase account due date on every month 23th, I have called this number [protected] I have requested to pay every month on 27th every month due to my salary only come in on 25th. And they agreed for me to make a REMARK there won't call my Guarantor before 27th if i have make the payment. But on 20th they keep called my Guarantors during office hour, is very disturb for him. When they called me and i asked them why still calling my Guarantor, the staff say the rules must call him. I ask what for promise me on last month, he directly close my phone. And i called back and say i would like to complaint him, he scold me: You late payment for the Hire Purchase you still want to complaint me. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL way to service people, how this bank such of service and they will give you the sh** when you make late payment for them just even 1 month.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking horrible customer service

Today (2/9/2015, around 1.20 pm) is another day with a horrible customer service experience with Maybank, Taman Malim Jaya, Melaka.

I was there to deposit a quite big sum of cash and so was given a number for mobile cashier counter (which I did not realise until I was upstair). However, I did also mentioned to the officer before he handed me the number that I will need to deposit cheques and even requested for bank-in slip to fill-up.

Once I was inside the mobile cashier counter, I discovered that they only take in cash deposit and do not do cheque deposit. When I asked which counter at outside I can do my cheque deposit, the young lady just shake her shoulder and said "Tak Tau". After finish counting the money, I was requested to collect the receipt at counter 7.

The Chinese lady at the counter asked why I was at the counter and I told her that I need to collect my deposit slip. She then asked if "the things has come out", which later I learned are documents referring to the cash deposit I have done. She handed me a form and when I asked the purpose of the form, she said that I need to fill in. Only when I asked again why do I need to fill-up the form did she explained it is because of BN policy. While we were both waiting for the deposit slip to be process, I asked if I may deposit the cheque at her counter, she just ignored my question.

After I have collected my cash deposit slip, I was forced to go down stair to use the cheque deposit machine. The queue was a long as 2 out of the 3 machines were out of service.

From my complaints, readers might find that it is very long, I myself also shocked. Imagined a job which initial may only required one to two persons to settle now forced a customer to run between counters and machines to settle.

Understandable that their business is very packed daily and the officer might be too tired to even smile at us, however, please at least has the professionalism as bank officers to provide an efficiency/helpful service to your customer to avoid us to have to run around the bank, going up and down staircase and ended up to have to queue for more than one time.

Nowadays, most bank officers don't even bother to look at you when you tell them that you need to deposit a cheque. They just point their fingers at the cheque deposit machine and tell you to use them. Remember these machine are invented at the first place to provide a better service to the customer, to avoid customer for waiting and queueing too long at the counter. Now, if the deposit machine queue is longer than the queue at the cashier counter, and you still request/forced a customer to use the machine, does that make any sense to you? Worse of all is when the customer needs queue for more than 1 time to settle their business within the same bank.

Improve on your customer service, Maybank. You may be a big finance organisation in Malaysia, but with your choice of customer service, you will not survive in the real competitive business world globally. Any customer who has experienced with your customer service, when given choice will not remain with you.

Just dun forget tis is an mnc msian bank n is a profit-oriented bank like others but is DEFINITELY PREJUDICED AGST SINKIES due to our sour bilateral relations.Is inequitable tat in msia they employ msians n in spore they employ msians too whose english are simple not up to par.Though they fall oso under MAS, is always their call. My advice is BOYCOTT THEM n when profits fall tats when they will retrospect n improve their services.
One msian indian staff told me at northpoint to cancel my card via phone even though i was there in person wanting to do it. I am an ex-msian.

today morning I visiting one of your outlet at jalan genting klang around 10am, for renew my ASB bank book, the chinese ladies who on duty at the counter 3, was questioning us with the bad behaviors and say "why I need to renew?" as it a last page and last few column and I was not always at Malaysia, I don't want to wasting my time to come for renew later. But the ladies seem like not patient and just ask did I need to bank in, is this your customer service should be? after proceed the bank in process, she just gave us back the bank book, and ask us next time only renew. I'm so not stratifies her behavior, because she gave us the reply not a reply, like excuses. As she didn't mention clearly whether after bank in only can renew? I required to return the money back, she refused, and questioning with nonsense, Why i need to take back?

I'm enough with her attitude, and straightly visit other bank at beside to renew my ASB bank book. Last I get my new ASB bank book at other bank and I satisfied, because without any stupid question.

Over 10yr I was visiting there for doing my personal transaction, all going well, the staff are friendly and helpful. BUT now, I felt disappointed and I will share my experience to all my friends.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking misused of customer data

Hi,
I couldnt find any suitable place to lodge a acomplaint regarding one of Maybank staff at Jalan Raja Laut (near to Sogo) branch.
She is a teller, and she has used the data of my fiancee for her own benefit. i believed that is a misconduct!
This staff name is Farah Syazwani (as per name saved in my fiancee"s contact).
At first, my fiancee (Amirul) is a regular customer to do transaction in this branch as his office is close to this bank and his salary also deposited in Maybank account. However after he got promoted and once his salary has been up to almost 5digits, there is this number been miscalled him on daily basis. After few days, the caller disclosed as one of the Maybank staff and want to get to know him. They have been in contact for several months before i found out about this. My fiancee has come clean to me, and explain everything because he find out that this staff only wants to spend his money.
I believe both parties are guilty in this case, however she shouldnt use her customer's personal data to fulfill her needs. If she need somebody to sponsor her or be her sugar daddy, do it in correct way. Never ever misused the data which we, as customer has put trust on all of you!

I went to Maybank branch in Ayer Keroh, Melaka to open a savings account and to apply for an ATM card. However, the officer told me the application for the opening of savings account has closed for today as there are too many people were going to open a savings account. That was ridiculous. You should provide service to customers instead of chasing them away.

Used to face this situation also.
this Maybank malay girl, because she wearing scarf but her face look like chinese, she talk and act to me in seducing manner.
At this place, maybank jalan raja laut near sogo.
I just want to change my withdrawal and purchase limit, but during her assistance, she purposely bump her body into me, n grab my hand.
Its not professional.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking staff rudeness

Hi, I've just visited Maybank yesterday & ask then something regarding their bank services . This guy at nex in the front counter doesn't seem to know a good service when I ask him question he reply sarcasticly and ask question back to me, & he also raised his voice and he actually look down on me because I would like to open a fix deposit and he insisted not to let me open because the sum of money that I going to put is too little even it meets the criteria, but he is not thinking that I am still a student. How much student can earn?, he even asked me to go other bank and open at there if I'm afraid I will take out the money he ask me to cut the card. I mean what kind of attitude is that when u talk to customer & worst thing I wonder why Maybank doesn't hv a feedback center . Poor service poor attitude. Doesn't fit to be in service line.

If you guys thinking about putting in money in Maybank don't bother because they only will entertain Rich person . That's how bias they are

Just dun forget tis is an mnc msian bank n is a profit-oriented bank like others but is DEFINITELY PREJUDICED AGST SINKIES due to our sour bilateral relations.Though they fall oso under MAS, is always their call. My advice is BOYCOTT THEM n when profits fall tats when they will retrospect n improve their services.
One msian indian staff told me at northpoint to cancel my card via phone even though i was there in person wanting to do it.
I am an ex-msian.

Maybank Group / Malayan Banking cheating

On 30th June 2014. My structural deposit was mature which I have bought 3 years ago. When I go down to Maybank(Geylang Serai) branch, counter 4, a Philippine lady told me that there wasn't such a structural deposit under my name. I was shocked and I stood up. Thereafter a lady by the name of Grace(manager) came. She asked me to go to her desk. I asked her again to check on my matured structural deposit. Again she told me that there wasn't any structural deposit under my name. As she keep asking "Do you have evidence?!" I took out my interest slip to show her and she said "It Is expired!" I told her " How can that be?" She continue to ask for further evidence. I was so scare and confused and I stood up . She said in a very rude manner " Don't be so scare lah!" I quickly went home to tell my daughter about this matter. Luckily my daughter has a copy of the application foams which she kept for 3 years. If not all my hard earned money would have been cheated by Maybank Singapore. Everything was recorded by the bank's CCTV and I hope the authority could go and check on this said bank.
