McCloskey Truck Town McCloskey Truck Town is a total rip-off!

McCloskey Truck Town is a total rip-off! They say they'll give you 4k for your trade, but it's all a big fat lie. They won't take anything! And don't even get me started on their customer service - it's absolute garbage. This place needs to be investigated for false advertising and all their ads should be taken down.

McCloskey Truck Town Took our car in for oil change at 1:30, but didn't leave until 3:10

Took our car in for oil change at 1:30, but didn't leave until 3:10. As soon as we pulled out of McCloskeys, the car stalled on Academy, a busy street. We went back to the shop and told the workers what happened, and they called a tow truck. We waited for over an hour on the street for the tow truck to arrive. The tow truck took our car back to the shop, and McCloskey checked the car because they didn't know if it was something they did or not. We ended up being charged $150, which we didn't expect. We just wanted an oil change for $30, but we ended up paying over $400 for the car and a day's pay because my husband couldn't go to work. After checking the car, shouldn't they have told us if it wasn't safe to drive? We've been customers for many years and have never had any issues. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us, and it was a stressful situation. The mechanics did something to our vehicle, and we don't think it's our responsibility to pay the $150. We had to get a battery, and our car is still not running well. They wanted us to have it towed to a Nissan dealership because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. We don't think it's fair that we have to pay for their mistake. Don't take your car to McCloskey to be serviced. They should have covered all charges and any further charges to get it running correctly.

McCloskey Truck Town Me and my hubby bought new trucks on May 4th from different dealerships

Me and my hubby bought new trucks on May 4th from different dealerships. My trade-in was paid off with no issues in less than two weeks, but my hubby's is still a mess, a whole month later. When we pulled into McCloskey Truck Town, I knew we should have gone somewhere else. The saleswoman was clueless and asked me the same question four times in five minutes. She even asked if I would co-sign for him, not realizing he already had financing. I signed over the paperwork and left. On May 27th, I called the finance manager Jessica, who was helpful and said the bank needed to talk to my hubby. He wasn't notified by the dealership or the bank. Jessica said she could make the payment electronically as soon as someone talked to him. My hubby reached the bank on Friday and told Ken, the other finance manager. Ken said they would mail a check "next week." I called on Saturday and left messages but got no response. On June 1st, Jessica called back and said she wasn't the finance manager to close it out and had no idea what was going on. I left messages and finally got in touch with Ken. He said they would mail a check, but I needed it electronically paid that day. He said he was "sending an email to Jessica right now" and they would make it happen. It's now Thursday, and the trade-in still hasn't been paid off. I left Ken a voicemail yesterday and haven't heard back. It's been a month, and we won't be returning. I just needed my trade-in paid, and I can't get one of their finance managers to call me back.

McCloskey Truck Town I'm lookin' for a new ride and I started my search online

I'm lookin' for a new ride and I started my search online. I found this place called McCloskey Truck Town at www.bigjoetrucktown.com. Their page caught my eye 'cause they said they'd give me $4000 for my trade no matter what condition it's in. No catch, no asterisk, nothin'! So I went to their page and it said to get pre-approved to save time, so I did. I gave 'em all my info, even my SSN 'cause I thought I was gettin' approved for a loan ahead of time. But boy was I wrong! When I got there, they started sayin' that only certain vehicles qualify for the $4k trade-in and it just went downhill from there. These guys are predators, man! They wasted my whole day off and it was my first one in two weeks! Can't they do anything right?

McCloskey Truck Town I bought a truck from McCloskey Truck Town on December 31

I bought a truck from McCloskey Truck Town on December 31. On January 20, the engine light came on for the first time. Then on January 27, I had to pay $430 for the first engine repair, which was to replace the #7 ignition coil. On February 9, they replaced the control arms and ball joints under warranty, and I didn't have to pay anything. On March 2, they suggested I replace the spark plugs, which I did. On March 11, they replaced the #7 ignition coil again with new parts, and I had to pay $280. At that time, Mr. McCloskey gave me an extended warranty. On March 18, they switched the #7 and #5 coils because of the engine light, and I had to pay $426. On March 29, they replaced the brake caliper under warranty, and I didn't have to pay anything. On April 20, the auto repair shop cancelled my appointment. The engine lights kept coming on and off, and on August 17, it stalled and has been in the shop since then. They replaced the battery, but the engine light still says it's the fuel pump, which tested good. Every time I pick it up from the shop, I get more engine lights. I have eight receipts of repairs. I contacted Jessica, the shop manager, in August, but no one has called me back. I left messages for managers Jessica, Shop Mannie, Sales, and Hilary, Office, this week, but still no response.

McCloskey Truck Town My truck was taken in on July 18th and I didn't get it back until Aug 14th

My truck was taken in on July 18th and I didn't get it back until Aug 14th. I brought it in because of fuel injector engine codes. They said it was spark plugs and ignition coils, so we replaced them. Then they said it was the Map sensor, so we replaced that too. Then they said it was the ECM, but nope, it was the engine harness clip. So we picked it up, but it had an extended crank, which I mentioned before leaving the lot. They said it was normal, even though the car didn't have one to begin with. Then the A/C and heat didn't work, so we brought it back in. We finally got the truck back on Aug 18th, but it still had an extended crank. When I told them again, they blew me off and said it wasn't a big deal. On Sept 1st, the truck died, so we had to tow it back. They said it was the O2 sensor and we picked it up on Sept 2nd. BUT IT STILL HAS AN EXTENDED CRANK AND IT DIED AGAIN 5 HOURS LATER! I left 4 messages for the GM, but instead of him calling back, I keep getting routed to sales reps and service reps. NO ONE WILL HELP.
