I bought a metrodeal voucher for P 4, 999.00 via credit card last December 2015. Unfortunately, the date I wanted to be booked was not available. So I ended up requesting for a refund, which appears to be the worst decision I ever made.
Dec 19 2015 - I contacted metrodeal for the refund, and I was advised 7-14 business days for the request to be processed. Three days after, the voucher has been cancelled.
Jan 20 2016 - I've been checking my online banking everyday, but not a cent refunded. So I waited for my Jan SOA to verify this. Unfortunately, the latest SOA issued Jan 20 still had no refund provided. I then sent a follow up email to Carlo, the metrodeal staff who promised me that the amount would be refunded within 14 business days. I also called up the metrodeal hotline to follow it up. I spoke with Anna, who passed me to Carlo. Over the phone, he said that the transaction has been cancelled and the refund was approved last Jan 12. I was told to WAIT FOR ANOTHER 14 BUSINESS DAYS and I should contact the issuing bank for a follow up if the amount was still not showing after that. If this was true, how come he didn't advised me that it was approved last Jan 12 when I sent him an email?
Jan 26 2016 - I sent an email to my issuing bank. They have advised me the same thing, to wait. However, they told me that I could file a dispute if the amount was still not refund after the 14 business days timeframe. All I need is to fill out a form and attach a cancellation letter to prove that the transaction has been cancelled, and the amount has been refunded. The bank will process the dispute in 5 banking days.
Feb 3 2016 - Today is the 15th business day from Jan 12. And still, no refund received. I called up the metrodeal hotline and spoke with Jay, who told me that the amount has been refunded and AGAIN, I SHOULD WAIT TIL THE NEXT SOA, which would be Feb 20. Well, I've been waiting for two months now. I also asked him to send me a copy of the cancellation memo. But he refused and said that they can't provide it because this was a bank to bank transaction. So I sent an email to Carlo again, to ask for the cancellation memo, letter or any proof to confirm that the transaction has been cancelled.
I am currently waiting for metrodeal's response. They weren't very helpful and kept on telling me the same thing over and over again, to wait. I am so tired and fed up. Waiting for 2 months is unacceptable.
If you're looking at buying anything on metrodeal, please think twice. I am writing this complaint to inform everyone how awful it was to request for a refund at metrodeal. I would never ever buy anything from them again.
Business Refuses Give Refund
On February 16, 2015, my wife and I purchased a Imarflex tabletop convectional oven from MetroDeal.com. The oven was to be a gift to my wife's mother and father. We made a mistake by not researching the company and by not reading the company's policy, terms, and conditions. My wife's father was not able to travel to Manila within the 9 days before the voucher expiration, so we contacted MetroDeal via email the day after purchase to get a refund. We did not receive a reply from MetroDeal until after the voucher expired. MetroDeal refused to return our money and refused to reinstate the validity of the voucher. I have contacted MetroDeal by email 4 more times since then, but they refuse to act like a legitimate customer-friendly business. Their support specialist reply with scripted messages and will not even use their surnames. If you weigh all of the evidence and complaints against MetroDeal, it is very easy to see that this company is in fact a Complete Scam and Fraud! We are in the process of filing a complaint with the Philippine government. Buyers Beware!
REFUND
At first, i have purchased 2 vouchers not knowing that the place of the restaurant is in Las Piñas. I have called and contacted them to their customer service hotline at [protected] with a lot of rude customer service representative who seems like not interested in helping the customer and provide informations on how to solve the customer's concern. They have informed me a lot of times to use the vouchers instead of refunding it even if the place is not beneficial for me. They asked me not to refund the money back, instead, they asked me if it's okay to just put the credits back to my METRO DEAL ACCOUNT. I told them it's okay for less inconvenient way of refunding the account and i decided to purchase a new voucher card again to another restaurant which is YAKI MIX SM NORTH EDSA. When i already bought the voucher, i lately realized that the validity of the voucher is on January knowing that i can use it at the 1st or 2nd week of december. I asked them to cancel it after 2-3 hours from the time that i bought it and as usual, they kept on informing that they will send the response through email. After 24 hours, i waited for their email and this is what they sent to me:

I called metro deal back and spoke to one of there useless representative. She said that the vouchers are already generated and she wants me to contact YAKI MIX for a refund. Then i called YAKI MIX, a guy named MORRIS informed me that it's metro deal's responsibility to refund the account and he CLEARLY STATED that the vouchers are not yet generated. I called metro deal back to inform them regarding my conversation with YAKI MIX. First call was disconnected, and on the second call, the representative is pretending that she cannot hear me since the background is very noisy, she wanted to end the call and just want to check my email since she don't want to assist me! VERY RUDE! THIS IS THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPIUNG I've Ever encountered. I would not buy another item or get another item from this company even if it's for free.
No Refund

Do not trust Metrodeal
I purchased 2 vouchers from Metrodeal for an hour of massage at Royal Lake Spa, we went there on a Sunday but we weren't accomodated, the guy at the information told us that Metrodeal failed to indicate that it is only valid on weekdays. I called Metrodeal asking for an explanation and the lady told me that she just received a note from Royal Lake Spa that our vouchers will be accomodated from Mondays to Thursdays, which means that even Fridays werent available. She asked me if i would like to use it on Wensha Timog instead, and i declined because its not of the same value. I insisted on a refund, and she asked me to make a letter of compalint indicating the voucher numbers, email it to them and will be subjected for a review by the account department. I knew it would be a very long process and I doubt it if refund will be processed.
I bought FOUR tickets for a FIREWORKS DISPLAY Event . No voucher was issued. Company's FAULT! This is UNFAIR. They caused a lot of STRESS and EXPENSE. I'm Filing my case to DTI.

I also bought 2 RL spa vouchers and learned that they are no longer operating as of now. I havent used them yet since their expiry is on June. The worst thing here is when I looked at my voucher it was edited to February. and i was like WTF?! Do Metrodeal think cheating their clients would be that easy? They can notify their clients of what had happened and add a note that they can offer other service in place of the paid RL spa vouchers. But they did not and they even cheated on our vouchers to make it auto expired!
I'll also file a complaint, could you give me details on to whom and how to file this complaint. Contact details of the establisment and such please.
By the way when they offer you Wensha spa, how much was the difference? Gano kalaki malulugi sayo? i bought my RL spa voucher 545 each.

My mom and I had a very bad experience with Royal Lake and we filed a complaint against Metrodeal at DTI, and to our dismay, they are only offering us refund of the voucher without apologies, not even recognizing all the trouble we had. We had a chance to meet with them at DTI office and they are late and it seems that we are the one who owe Metrodeal an explanation. We tried to tell them about all this blogs going on about the same advertisement but we were warned against it and we might get that " It's only TSISMIS, since no one is filing. DTI says that there is no need to go to them, we just need to file a complaint via email and they will schedule you. Here are the email address of Metrodeal, DTI, and Royal Lake. If this indeed trully happened to you. I dare you to take the next step. They don't have regard to their customer, so long as they are earning. It think, it's just time to work on it.

This travel agency website is a big scam. I like to travel Palawan in the Philippines. And i finding a website which gives cheap prices for hotel and fare tickets. A browsed in the internet and landed in this site. I was about to order a package deal from them, but I wanted to know if this company is true and I found a post on reviewsofwebsite.com which says about how they were scammed. I declined their offer and published a post in reviewsofwebsites.com to reveal what SCAM they are offering to people.
Bought 5 vouchers today (february 1, 2013) through metrodeal app. When I access my account, all my vouchers were gone!
Already sent email regarding this matter. Anticipating for their immediate action.

Earlier this day (May 7, 2018) i paid for 2 vouchers of hair waxing sessions through paypal. However, i didn't receive any vouchers until this afternoon. Please do something about it.
The voucher for our accomodation at Victoria Court was already used according to the merchant but we haven't availed it yet. please investigate on this matter as it is causing inconvenience in our part.
